I'm going to be honest with you and everyone, Pokemon has connected with me in special way, literally! when ever I'm feeling depressed just going back and petting my Pikachu and hearing him say PIKACHU! makes me happy and smile at the same time! I don't think I could live without Pokemon in my life, I wonder if anyone else out there feels this way with Pokemon or just any other game?

Pokemon is very good. Black and White is average imo though.

I also couldn't live my life if Pokémon didn't exist!

I think Pokemon's unique in that everyone always has their favorite Pokemon they inexplicably love the most. That emotional connection isn't very easy to compare to with other games, even in the same sort of vein of monster collecting games.

Just watching this new season of Pokemon X and Y, and hearing the old intro my bond with the show and game got stronger! I love POKEMON FOREVER!

I agree I just recently started playing the game and I love it. Same with the show.

Pokemon has been around since I was in the single digits.  That ship has sailed.

You know, I feel the same way about Pokemon.  The adventures I've experienced in the various regions have really entertained me, and strengthening my Pokemon and seeing them battle so effortlessly is something that makes me proud!  And you know, you actually grow after you've experienced the journeys the Pokemon games offer. And yes, Black and White were average games, I didn't like them that much, but X and Y reaffirmed my faith in the Pokemon series!  So yeah, Pokemon is awesome!

Yeah, I kind of got bored of Pokémon for a while once B/W games and show came out. I'd watched the anime since I was born, and played my first (core) Pokémon game when Diamond first came out. XY got me back into both the show and games.

I wouldn't be a very happy person I'll let u know. I literally have Pokemon merchandise all over my room lol

Fool. If Poke'mon was never in your life, you wouldn't know any better. 

Currently working on a Sylveon collection here. I'm also still on the lookout for a regular priced Fennekin plush. 

 

Pokemon is a wonderful franchise. I dun think there's much comparable to it. Not even Yugioh or Digimon compare well to the types of connections we make with Pokemon. Pokemon rely on their trainers. They may be virtual, but a real emotional connection and bond is built between a Trainer and their Pokemon. Some people may never understand, but the little things like this keep us all going. Just remember, competitive or not, Pokemon are our friends, each and every one of them.

Heck Pokemon Red and Yellow were the first RPGs I've ever played and they introduced me to the RPG genre,a genre I used to hate when I was a kid but Pokemon made me fall in love with it

 

Without Pokemon my gaming career would've never been the same and without Pokemon I might've never got introduced to things like Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts

 

Pokemon Black and White 2 in particular made me so happy and I've enjoyed every bit of it

I love the games, they're easily one of my favorites ever. I can play them over and over without getting tired of them! Also, I really enjoyed B/W. I liked that they tried something new with not including the old ones, it made things feel more fresh. The storyline was awesome, too. Silver and Y still tie for my favorites, though.

 

I even feel attached to most of my Pokemon. I won't do anything that lowers their happiness just because I hate the idea of them disliking me.
