I rarely ever talk seriously about KH, so I thought I'd do that now.
5. The intro cutscene. KH3D was technically the first KH game I'd played (albeit being a demo). I looked it up and decided to watch that intro, and although I was confused by what was happening, it was really epic. Within the two month gap between the demo releasing and the actual game coming out, I played all the other KH games (I think excluding BBS, don't remember) to completion. Then, when my sister bought DDD, I saw the intro again, and it was incredibly nostalgic. Seeing several of my favorite parts in the games again, in pre-rendered graphics (especially all the scenes with Roxas and the final boss of KHII), was awesome.
4. The music. I think that, out of all the games, KH3D has some of the best music in the series, behind KHII and possibly BBS. L'Oscurita Del Ignoto, L'Impeto Oscuro and the Ansem battle music (I probably completely got the first two names wrong, forgive me) are great remixes of the original themes. Wargoyle and Rinzler both had amazing themes as well, though the latter was a bit too short for my liking. The 3 Musketeers overworld and battle themes are probably my favorite out of all overworld and battle themes in the series (though it's been a while since I've played KHII and BBS, so I might change my mind later). The final boss music being a remix of the... Stained glass area (curse my memory) was very exciting.
3. The bosses. Now, I'm not going to say that these bosses are better than the bosses in any other KH games, but man, they're fun. Xemnas, Young Xehanort, and Nightmare Anti Black Coat were some of my favorites. Julius was a great secret boss, though not as challenging as others (I'm tempted to say Sephiroth is one of the hardest in the series, but then I fought Unknown in BBS...). I haven't beaten it as Sora yet, though. Ventus Nightmare Armor is one of my favorite Final Bosses, if not solely for the fact that you're basically fighting Ventus/Sora.
2. The Worlds. The 3 Musketeers world. One of my favorite childhood movies in KH. I was more excited to play in that world than any others in the game. Seeing all the locales from the movie reimagined in 3D models was very nostalgic. Traverse Town was fun as well, and I thought the TWEWY characters were cool, even though I'd never heard of them before DDD. The Grid is also one of my favorites, since TRON: Legacy is one of my favorite movies. Having a Pinocchio level that wasn't completely inside Monstro (for Sora anyway) was a nice addition as well. The World That Never Was is pretty great, especially grinding up that building as Riku.
1. The Riku. Good Lord, playing as Riku was amazing. Sure, I'd already played as him in Re:CoM, but playing as him without being restricted by Cards was pretty damn sweet. His Commands are incredibly awesome, compared to Sora's (sorry Sora), and he's just a total badass too. He had the best bosses IMO, his story was better than Sora's (Riku seemed like the main character to me), and his Dream Eater powers were cool. Especially the Shadow Claws and Surfing powers. Not to mention he's sexy.
Sooo yeah, DDD is one of my favorite KH games. Honorable mentions go to Flowmotion (I never had to worry about not being able to reach high places YUSS) and the Dream Eaters (who may not have been as cool as Heartless or Nobodies, but they were still cool and adorable nonetheless).
(Please note that this is my opinion, and I'd rather not have a reply saying "WELL HERE'S MY LIST OF WHY DDD SUCKS" or something. You're welcome to share opinions, but I'd appreciate if it wasn't like that.)
