Hey there everyone, how's it going?  As you all know, we're pretty much hanging by a thread when it comes to Kingdom Hearts related news, and all these interviews we've been getting have only helped in feeding our hype for the game!  So then, as I was reading Tai Yasue's interview on Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix and Kingdom Hearts 3, I noticed something particularly interesting...

 

You see, when he was asked if 2.5's credits would contain anything about Kingdom Hearts 3, he said: "maybe yes, maybe not."  Now, if 2.5 weren't to have anything, he would have just said no, but the fact he said maybe, maybe not is more than enough cause for suspicion.  I mean, if 1.5 had clips of 2.5, then why can't 2.5 have possible clips or at least images of Kingdom Hearts 3?  It wouldn't be a bad bonus for completing the game, you know? I mean seriously, it really makes you wonder what 2.5 has in store for us.

 

Also, I loved the fact that Yause said that the little teaser we had of KH3 will be part of the prologue of the game, because it'll sure be interesting to see Young Xehanort and Young Eraqus!  It makes me wonder if Nomura is at least half done with the story...hmm, you never know.  Anyways, do you all think that 2.5 will contain a special surprise of Kingdom Hearts 3 waiting for us? Or do you think Yasue was just bluffing?

Nomura is completely done with the story, that's always the first thing he finishes. It's everything else that needs to be taken care of. You write the story, then you program the game.

 

This may be asking too much but I would really like an "Another Side, Another Story/Deep Dive" "Birth by Sleep/The Gathering" type secret movie for completing all three games. We'd probably need to at least 100% all games to unlock it though. Maybe even Platinum. Which means I'd never get it because, even though I like the Gummi Ship I was never good enough to 100% it.

There is SOMETHING going on that we're not aware of, and it's driving me CRAZY!!! The late release dates for 2.5 just don't make sense. In one of the E3 interviews, Yasue revealed that 2.5 is about 95% complete. I'm sorry, but they don't need 4-6 months to wrap up the remaining 5% for an HD remake, especially considering he also revealed that they were in fact NOT making the Mirage Arena a multiplayer experience. It also doesn't make too much sense to hold it back for "marketing reasons", since neither Square or Disney have anything else of its caliber coming out this year (Disney Infinity isn't exactly in the same arena as Kingdom Hearts).I think it could be possible they are holding it back so that they can have something to put in the credits as a tease. I don't know if that is Kingdom Hearts 3 or a hypothetical KH3D-HD Final Mix, but maybe they need to wait in order to show something substantial? Whether they're releasing a game in 2015 or not, they need to tell us, and not just go silent for a year.

It's not exactly a quick process to get everything prepared for release to several countries. 

 

Also, I really don't get the whole 'DDD Final Mix' thing. Assuming they even decided to port DDD to PS3, it wouldn't be a Final Mix, anyway. It'd just be a port.

I'm sure they definitely want to do it but they probably really do need more time to actually finish the ReMIX. Also their probably getting KH3 stuff ready to show at TGS or something too.

 

I would like a teaser like the "Birth by Sleep" one in KH2 but they might opt for putting something smaller like the "lost masters" conversation for 2.5 and release the bigger teaser at an event.

I don't think we should look into it too much, it's probably just due to marketing reasons. ie. It provides better pacing between KH game releases, the longer they wait to release 2.5, the smaller the gap between 2.5 and 3 will be.

I think they are preparing something with Kingdom Hearts 3D. Maybe the final mix version for ps3 or ps4.

Mmh I guess 2.5 will contain a little teaser of KHIII, maybe as a Secret Movie.

In my opinion, the only KH3 related thing we will see in 2.5 is the beginning of KH3 before the title screen: The bit we have already seen with Young Eraqus and Young Xehanort speaking about the lost masters. I would be shocked if there was anything new we have not seen yet
