Gummi ships maybe can't return in Kingdom Hearts 3?

Posted

So I've been thinking about how the worlds walls are up again and then I sorta realized that the gummi ship wouldn't probably work now that those walls are up again. I mean now you can only travel by CoD, star shard, keyblade, diving (which only works with sleeping worlds), or teleportation right? The only reasons gummi ships worked the first and second times were because the worlds walls were down. But now, because the walls are up again, they shouldn't work right?

There will always be some deus ex machina that brings that infernal mini-game back to the main titles

I loved Birth by Sleep's system where you could just go to whichever world you wanted in no time flat, but I'd be surprised if III didn't bring it back

The walls went back up at the end of the first Kingdom Hearts. In the second game, Sora was able to travel in special paths that the Keyblade itself created.

Actually the walls were up in KH2, but the worlds had made new pathways for them to use their gummi ship.

they better not bring back gummi ships they was so annoying.

I hope not. Sora went to Traverse Town in DDD without the Gummi. And those damn routes are a pain to get trophies for.

They can make a return...and I want them to.

They shouldn't return for the plain fact that they're annoying as hell to deal with.

Yup, that's the main reason I don't want 'em xD

The gummi ship is so firetrucking annoying.

I wouldn't mind them to return as long as it was a bit more enjoyable, kH1 was a headache and KH2 was on the right path so we will have to see!

I think I'm one of the few people who liked Gummi Ships, and wants them to return...

The walls may be up again but in KH2 the Keyblade opened paths for Sora to travel through and people with the ability to create Corridors of Darkness can use them to travel between worlds AND if Castle Oblivion is turned back into the Land of Departure the Lanes Between could be accessed.

As for the Gummi Ship...only if it's like KH2 or better.

I thought they were up in KH2 & Sora opened special paths. Since they keyblade is going to be transforming in KH3, Sora might use a keyblade glider, but I don't see why gummi ships would become useless. Donald & Goofy have to get around somehow after all.

So they could still bring back the gummi ship then?

I went from initially hating Gummi ships, to being indifferent to them, to liking them, and then hating them again. I would be indiff. to them as of now IF IT WASNT FOR THE GUMMI SHIP MISSIONS BEING SO HARD AND ANNOYING. That's what ruined it for me. -__-

That was especially cause he needed to travel to dream worlds and that he do it on his own.

It is possible it wont be back cause of the other characters.

I think there's a lot more potential for gummi ships to be fun this time around if they add online functionality and some other minor changes. I would love to have a gummi ship battle against one of my friends!

Actually the walls were up again in Kingdom Hearts II, the Gummi Ships most likely will be back and all we need is an explanation to why we can still travel with Gummi Ships and how will we be able to bypass the walls (like in Kingdom Hearts II the explanation is that Sora used special paths unlocked by his Keyblade)

Better be like the DIVE system.

So they can bring them back then? That's cool. But I rather have a keyblade glider or something else! They make more sense.

What about Donald and Goofy? What are they gonna ride? Santa's sleigh? lol

I think so.

Sure they know Santa! Why not! Or Sora could make room for them on a glider!

lol, sure xD

All they need to do is make the gameplay the exact same like the kh2 gameplay and I'll probably do the Gummi ship missions. Those were fun... Lets just never think of KH1... EVER
