The image features not only Frieza, but Beerus, the villain from last year's Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. The magazine also confirms that the film will premiere in Japanese theaters on April 18 in both 2D and 3D.

In an interview with original creator Akira Toriyama in the magazine, he says that the 'F' in the title in fact stands for "Frieza," who will be revived in the film. Toriyama noted that he thought of the title while listening to the song "F" by Band Maximum The Hormone, who he came to know personally through a friend. In fact, one of the members told him that they had been singing the song about Frieza.

The magazine describes the story:

 

An Earth where peace has arrived. However, remnants of Frieza's army Sorbet and Tagoma (from the Japanese word for 'egg') arrive on the planet. Their goal is to revive Frieza with the dragon balls. Their dastardly wish is granted, the "F" that plans its revenge against the Saiyans is revived...!

This is really getting old, we had enough Frieza reviving, it's becoming totally ridiculous.

Huh, wonder if Vegita will become the God this time like he and Goku agreed. Also, I'm guessing by the aura the Freiza gets a power up, Maybe he'll unlock the Final Form that Cooler used.

He's too full of himself, thinking that he is the strongest in the universe. He even thinks he could take down Buu, and yet he has never been seen to grow any stronger.

Yes! Frieza is my favorite DBZ villain. They're going yo revive him and make him even stronger. Hopefully they get Linda Strong (I believe) was Frieza's original voice actor. Great news!

This is great news! Frieza is probably the best villain the series has ever had, and he deserves to have the spotlight again after getting one-shotted in his last movie apperance and uh... you know... GT... blegh.

 

I think he might have some unfinished business with Beerus, too. I smell a fight coming.

Hell yeah, and he's pretty much the go-to guy for Frieza now. All the cast members of Kai are pretty much the official cast for any DragonBall property nowadays. Unless there's a change, of course.
