Now that Frozen might be coming to KH3, Can Idina Menzel reprise her role as Elsa again?

Depends if they ask her to. She does voice Elsa in Disney Infinity so it's not like she's immune to video games.

I think you mean 'will', and it's certainly possible. Most of the original cast of the Disney films already put into the games came back.

It's not confirmed, and honestly isn't definite so people probably shouldn't jump the gun, but it's very likely. Let's be straight: We've never had a world quite like the one that a Frozen world would offer, and lord knows it would help sell the game. 

 

As for Idina, I'd say she's proud of this role and would very likely return if she were asked. She even has the advantage of her performance being in the near past, so she wouldn't have to recreate a character from several years ago.

Well, since most Disney voice actors are usually contracted to reprise the role when asked, yeah, she probably will =P. I don't see why she wouldn't want to, though, most voice actors, even famous ones, enjoy coming back to those roles.

You need to phrase your titles better. I still knew that you were asking IF she would be in it, but anyone else who is unsuspecting could mistake this as a "confirmation."

 

As for the question itself, Frozen has not had ANY sort of confirmation for Kingdom Hearts III yet, but considering its popularity and the expressed desire of some staff members and fans to see it brought to the game, it is highly likely that it might get put in. But that is just speculation until Nomura states and confirms if Frozen will be one of the new worlds to be featured in KH3. With that said, whether Menzel will voice Elsa or not really depends on if she, or her manager/Disney/whoever is in charge of that, agrees to reprising her for the game, which is about a 50/50 chance, as about slightly more than half of all original Disney voice actors have returned to reprise their respective Disney roles in the KH games, save for some bigger celebrities such as Robbin Williams and Johnny Depp. Menzel would very much fit in to the category of "bigger celebrities" as she has a career and high-profile fame beyond that of her Disney performance, which I suspect is one of the primary reasons why so many original voice actors have not voiced in the KH series, because they have a lot of other projects going on and they're all really busy. So there is a chance that she might not reprise her role just for a video game, but if she has an actual interest in doing it (and possibly if there will be singing featured in that world, but maybe not), then it's possible that she might just reprise her role for the game.

 

But again, it all heavily weighs on if the world will be featured in the game, and if Menzel would actually care to do it. So really there is no way of knowing until something official is said.

I find it funny that "Frozen being in KH3" has become fact now, which bewilders me because I have yet to see it actually confirmed by the developers.

 

 

Anyhoo, yeah, it's possible that she could. If not, they would just hire someone who sounds like her. 

Since it seems more than likely that Frozen will end up becoming a world in Kingdom Hearts III, I think that Menzel would come back to voice Elsa.  It's all up to Disney when the time comes.  But yeah, it'd be cool listening to her voice in Kingdom Hearts III!
