The division/team that developed the Dissidia games has no upcoming announced projects, and hasn't released a big new game since 2012, aka when Square Enix got PS4 development kits.

Oh God, do you know how firetrucking amazing it would be if they decided to make a new Dissidia!?  That would be insane!!!  I've wanted a new Dissidia ever since Duodecim came out!  I love Duodecim to death, and I've poured 500+ hours into it!  I also played the first Dissidia, but Duodecim expanded so much more on what made the original so great!  Just imagine if another Dissidia was made!  It would probably be for the PSVita, and I think it would have the biggest roster in the Dissidia series. There are so many characters I'd love to see, like Vincent Valentine, Edge, Snow Villiers, Caius Ballad, Yuffie Kisaragi, Zack Fair, and so many others!  Gah, I hope there's a new Dissidia soon!

That would be cool. Hopefully it will be on PS3 or PS4. I've spent well over 150 hours in 012, and I'd gladly spend more time in a sequel/prequel.

Well anyway, I would LOVE a new Dissidia game (should probably just keep calling them prequels by this point)! It would be really cool if they could at least get Sora, Riku, Roxas, or Xehanort in there too, but the chances of that are pretty slim, since Disney apparently doesn't like the idea of their characters fighting each other...outside of their own series where they fight each other...yeah, they really have no good excuse to leave them out. Just put them in already!
