New enemy type for Kingdom Hearts III?

Posted

I just thought about this at the spur of the moment thinking about past titles...

So we know after DDD that when a person's Heartless and Nobody are destroyed the come back as a Somebody.

Well what if, their heart is not strong enough to revert them back to their Somebody form, so they turn into monsters who despite being whole, still have darkness plaguing them. They don't fit in the RoL or RoD so possibly share a part of the Realm of Between, but Nomura makes new Kingdom Hearts worlds in the Realm of Between to spawn them in.

I'm not saying this makes any sense at all, I made this topic so I can be corrected. They should have a name other than somebodies BTW.

Isn't that basically what Dusks are? They're lesser than actual Nobody's, but still intelligent enough to communicate and comprehend orders.

no

As awesome as that sounds, after the whole Dream Eaters thing, I'm sort of on the fence about bringing in new enemies. Heartless and Nobodies are fine for me at this point. Sounds interesting though. Wonder what they'd do for something like that.

the heart doesn't need to be strong in order for the original to come back.

What you just described is basically a normal person that has given into his darkness and became a heartless, twice.

The new organization has a small piece of xehanort's heart and are filled with darkness and they are completely normal, evil people.

the nature of heartless, nobodies, and hearts doesn't really have room for "halfbreeds".

you guys are so..... i dont even have the words to describe it. i mean how would the heartless feel if you left them out of the conversation. you cant forget the unversed, I thought we all really cared for these little beasts.

On a serious note, we are getting all enemies in the next game and probably a new one i can almost guarantee it, or we will get really strong unverses for the return of MX. I think stick to the old enemies but make them stronger, hahaha no really we need someone new for the main series.

I had an idea of Perceptions (Or Percepts) that are born from a fear, great sorrow or anger. They are not quite like the Unversed or Nobodies, since they can take the shape of what that fear is.

I was thinking that they don't side with any team but themselves, so there is an ultimate leader amongst them that was created via people like Xehanort. They exist only because of the conflict of Light and Dark, thus able to be made from fear of the dark or impure hearts in anyway. The enemies are manifestations of fears, follies and plight.

What do you guys think?

Of course the chances of them even appearing is like 0% but hey. Its an interesting concept I guess.

I believe the best new enemies we could get for KHIII are the counterparts of Heartless, beings made of pure light and since humans have darkness anyway it would make sense for them to try and destroy the "darkness" in the world, even humans. I mean too much of ANYTHING is hurtful ;)

no

what you are just so great as explaning yourself

Well they said the body contains the soul as well as all that other jazz. So what if there's like Soul Reapers or something idk.

Remember Terra's remnant?

Well, that right there is the will of the person taking on the life of its own. What if Xeha somehow releases the will of all the fallen keybattlers from the great war, and this is the new enemy!

The will, or rather the 'soul' it seems is the one thing in the Ansem reports that is never touched on. Somebodies consist of a body, a heart, and a soul (their "breath of life", if you will). I'd like to see the souls of the past keyblade wielders in their unrest becoming the new enemy.
