Don't really see the big deal why many of you were beginning on critical.

You know that all the records are counted for the trophy Conqueror? Just found it out.

I though it was just join them..

Maybe people like the challenge of Critical. It's the first time the mode has been available to players outside of Japan, so those who have perhaps beaten Proud numerous times on the original (yo), it's a fun step up.

 

It's not just for the trophies (although if you care enough about the trophies anyway, you might think that it's not worth earning them unless it IS on Critical, but that's a self-imposed limitation).

It's because I beat the original game on Standard. And Proud mode makes it so you do half the damage, so I went with Critical. Sure, enemies do more damage, but I don't do less.

I went with Critical because KH games are easy and I wanted a challenge.

Yeh but I guess most here are platinuming it and began on critical.

I'm also speaking about the secret ending you know. If you don't care about platinum I sure understand yes.

I did proud my first play through (haven't finished near the end with Aqua though) and honestly wish I'd done proud, I feel too OP.  

I did Critical because I wanted a tougher experience.

For me, the game is not fun or challenging on any difficulty below Critical. So I practically have to play on Critical Mode to get any enjoyment out of it. 

I mean anything easier just isn't as fun. I enjoy losing some boss battles is all I'm saying.

I'm more happy that that count as a trophy. I was going to do all the records for the secret ending even if it isn't was for platinum.

The main reason I started playing games with the hardest diffculty in my games is so I can beat the crap out of my enemies even more and kh this is extra fun to do as well as I kinda don't feel the sense of accomplishment if i don't do it on the hardest diffculty and this is what made me do my lvl 1 run which was a pain in the ass.

I've played every single game in the Kingdom Hearts series in its highest difficulty, and as such, I've grown used to the style of play that Critical Mode offers.  Since I had never gotten the chance to play Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix in Critical Mode, I jumped at the chance, because since I had beaten Kingdom Hearts II on my PS2 in Proud Mode multiple times, I wanted to see how Critical Mode would work out, and so far, I've loved the challenge!  I've even had to keep my eyes peeled for normal Heartless and Nobodies, and don't even get me started on the boss battles!  I've always loved the hardest difficulty levels in the Kingdom Hearts games, and I'll pretty much play any other Kingdom Hearts game that comes out in Critical Mode.

Not true. You take double damage in Critical Mode, and gain 25% less EXP, but Sora actually deals 25% extra damage compared to Proud Mode

I played critical because I already beated KH2 on standard and proud once, so I wanted stronger enemies and a weaker Sora. The platinum didn't matter to me, but since there was a trophy for critical, it was just fine.
