TWEWY has been removed from the Apple App Store

Posted

Square Enix has removed both the iPhone and iPad versions of The World Ends With You: Solo Remix from the Apple App Store. It is not clear why but Square Enix did have trouble updating it to support iOS 8. They might be planning to relaunch it as a universal app similar to what was done to a Tomb Raider/Lara Croft game last year.

It is still available on the Google Play Store at this time of writing.

Bummer that they had difficulty adapting to iOS 8. Universal app would be nice, but oh well. Hopefully not broken forever, but probably.

Are you kidding me I still have iOS6 right now and enough memory to get it. I should have bought it uggggggh.

Aw crap.

This is why I only got the DS version so I could still enjoy everything the game has to offer story wise, and plus my phone can't handle that much storage because of what I have on it now

Man, I got it from the istore too.  I don't want to have to rebuy it from google play so I can play it again :/

y'all need to get on the android train tbh

we still got it!

Or DS/3DS. That version can't be pulled by Square at all.

The real question is:

When do we get Live Remix?

The real question is:

When do we get Live Remix?

Live Remix has been cancelled and taken down over the past few months.

Also, Those of you who have Lollipop android phone (such as anyone with Nexus devices), can't be able to play TWEWY: Solo Remix until SE changes the processor format or some sort. The Android version runs TWEWY on Dalsik which is anything from ICS to KitKat. Lollipop only runs ART, which is said to be a lot more better than Dalsik. If SE pulls it down and gave no explaination, they gonna have a Kakuja waiting at the front door.

Of course, I have the DS version, but Dem changes in Solo Remix tho. . .

This sounds like a joke. It took me 2 or 3 minutes to fix that. Renaming some diretories here and there, that's it! (You need a jailbreak or Developer stuff in order to aply the fix though)I am looking into the Android version right now, shouldn't be hard to fix it either.Square, don't dissapoint us, we were hoping for Twewy 2 (-__-)

Division 3 is too busy making KH3.

I was maybe gonna get this on my phone. Just 'Cause I could. But I'm fine with the DS version. Still got a lot left to do, haha.
