Have you ever noticed when you play Bbs in ps3 there were some scenes that seem looking blurry? :/

Featured Replies

Are you talking about when the camera is zoomed in on a character while there's another character in the background?

the prerendered scenes look a bit blurry, if that's what you're talking about

I know what you mean like in Land of Departure the beginning or mayby Radiant Garden.

I noticed in the Blank Point cutscenes that it looks like it wasn't even upgraded

Really I've been more distracted with strange graphical issues like the Land of Departure's castle already missing a piece during parts before it was thrown into Darkness and Ven's beginning Station of Awakening being replaced with his ending one. Although I guess I may have noticed some blurry parts here and there, but I don't think there was enough to really throw off my experience in the way that the previously mentioned flaws did, which was only a minor amount anyway.

Re:CoM is the same way. Been that way since its ps2 days. I'm sure it has something to do with the upscale.

No I see nothing blurry when I play Birth By Sleep Final Mix on the PS3. The PSP version was blurry as hell.

Yup there was a blurry scene in Terra and Master Eraques battle in Land of departure. And in Castle Dominion there was a blurry scene of Aqua in Ven's story mode. I'll video tape the blurry parts.

That was (mostly) because these scenes were not using the engine but were pre-rendered. If SE wanted to make them like the rest they would had make them anew from scratch.

They could have real timed blank points. There's even proof in coding of BBS plus the fact some of the models were present.

But anyways the blurriness is due to the Depth of Field. It's not the new Bokeh technique but the old Gaussian blur one that was only possible on 6th and 7th gen consoles/handhelds. It does not look as good, but it's what they could only due at the time at least they had the decency to upres the blur
