Sora isn't a Keyblader Master? And Lea becomes a keyblader master before Sora? Would you be upset?

Featured Replies

Is there a reason why Sora wouldn't be a Keyblade Master?

I REALLY wouldn't care to be fair. Just a game, no reason I'd be upset about it, the creators make the roam of the game whoever they want to, you just gotta accept it.

But seeing as a fan of the game, I really don't care anyway. Q__Q

being a keyblade master is pretty irrelevant, and giving Sora more responsibilities would jsut impede future games

So basically, DDD's ending but with Lea becoming a Keyblade Master? Seriously? This is the end of the Xehanort Saga, not another Mark of Mastery exam.

Sora won't be a keyblade master. Nomura stated that in an interview.

Sora will be a keyblade master.

Well it can be like BBS where it can be Sora's second chance except Sora not going to the darkness.

Who knows what'll happen by the end?  Maybe Sora will be a Master, maybe not.  But, I really don't think Sora will lose sleep over his status as a Keyblade Wielder, because he's just as potently powerful as any Keyblade Master! :3

I feel like being a Keyblade Master doesn't actually matter, the games just keep trying to convince us it matters. Sora's done just fine and saved the world multiple times without a superfluous title, so what does he need to be a Master for?

The only real difference I see is that people have to call you master now, like Master Aqua or Master Riku (expect they never say Master Mickey, which is baffling), so basically Keyblade Masters are like those asshole people that insist you call them Dr. for their art doctorate or something lame like that.

So that Nomura's stupid "Sora is a normal boy" mentality can finally get thrown out the window, that's why.

Given that Nomura's still totally in charge of the story, I doubt that'll change by the end of KH3. Also, I'd much rather Sora defy that stereotype by defeating the guy no actual Master has been able to truly beat rather than be granted a more or less meaningless title. Actions speak louder than names.

I'm just of the sick of the concept.

What if, by the end of KH3, all of the Keyblade Masters still aren't on Sora's level?

Then to every single one of those Masters:
