If you had a Keyblade, how would you hold it and which hand? (Only wielding one Keyblade) Also, look carefully at the choices!

 

 

I would obviously pick back-handed, because I'm Ven!

 

But I do wonder what it would be like to wield a Keyblade with my mouth... But please, I don't want to be a lion.

Well I'm the Lefty here, so above the head like Riku. I like the style of the attack pattern. It reminds me of Juyo/Vapaad form of lightsaber combat with its aggressive style.

Like Sora! His stance looks cool.

Holding a gun to the side is one thing. A key-shaped sword? Too awkward. lol

I would grab it in a my own style...KeybasH Style! Since i'm left Handed, i want to use my left hand for a Keyblade.

I'd wield it by holding the head of the key and hitting people with the hilt.

You know, barely any of the character's battle stances are even practical. Sora has the worst of all, my God. I don't get how he fights like that. Anyways, I'd have my own way to represent me. And since I'm a leftie (and proud ), I'll hold it with my left hand.

Well, how I hold the keyblade (I'm currently making keyblade for my next cosplay) is similar to Terra and since I'm right handed, I always hold it at my right hand. I've tried to hold it with 2 hands, but I felt it's uncomfortable, in my opinion.

Right handed different way. I don't know how I WOULD hold it, in my right hand...

Reversed grip.

Best for defense, which is my priority.

As someone who is working on sword y IRL when I can, I can tell you that opening stances are very impractical, so I wouldn't have a direct main "stance" or grip. I would be switching between any formation so that I may use the correct one in response to my opponent.

 

In a less serious answer, firetruck all of that noise, I'll grow a third hand in the middle of my back and hold it by one pinky with it.

I'd use one hand because I'm a BAMF!

I think he's talking about the traditional forward hand stance of holding the keyblade. Like he is using a stance most keyblade wielders don't use.

 

But hey, that's cool that back-hand is a traditional combat stance in Iaido. That would be so awesome to see people casually fight like that.

i hold things really weird and akwardly sometimes. ( i use my scisors upside down, i hold my pencil like a knife,  i hold onto alot of things backwards) so my keyblade would probably be backwards too like ventus's...

 

honestly as far as the hands go im ambidexterious i never treally stick to one, why change that now.
