So the story goes is I was talking with my nii-chan about the direction that the plot of Kingdom Hearts series has headed towards recently regarding all the games that have come out after KH2. We ended up talking about Old man Xehanort and how he became bald.

 

Think about it? Why is Older Xehanort Bald?!

 

From a head full of shiny luscious silver hair to not a single strand on a smooth bald scalp....how did it come to this? Eraqus didn't have this problem as he aged.

I wonder has young Xehanort ever wondered what happened to his hair when he met his older self

 

Our discussions was very medical and we concluded that he became bald because:

• Aging: Most probable cause
• Inadequate sleep from excessive scheming and paranoia of being struck in his sleep
• Excessive stress (He's probably seen the book of Prophecies and has already seen his own downfall....thats why he's bluffing about the worlds falling into darkness)
• Excessive stress due to the fact that the worlds are out to get him
• We also suggested too much exposure to radiation from the Darkness (radiation can cause hair loss)
• Vitamin B deficiency may cause hair loss, but it can also make a person generally unpleasant (like Terranort)
• Overstyling his hair while growing up as young Xehanort - overstyling, especially with heat and chemicals, can destroy hair follicles leading to hairloss
• Trichotillomania - also known as obsessive hair pulling...We haven't seen him do it yet.....BOORAY
• Anabolic steroid usage....we may never know if Xehanort uses them

We all know he's taken a page out of Orochimaru's book and has targetting strong and capable bishonen to steal their bodies...

The way I see it there are 2 possibilities 

1. He wanted to change his look to blend in with humans so he could produce Big Hero 6

 

 

 

 

2. He wanted to follow the hair stylings of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson

I still could not get over the fact at how SIMILAR they looked.

I really hope that someday Hironobu Sakaguchi and Roy Conli can cosplay as Eraqus and Master Xehanort someday....that'd be really really awesome!!

 

I've also always wondered whether or not it was passive aggression from Square Enix to make the main antagonistic character look like one of the producers for some of Disney's films.

Xehanort has ascended past a super saiyan mortal human being and has reached a new stage in life. He has reached enlightenment in the form of eternal darkness and does not need hair anymore. He has forgotten what it was like to wake up in the morning and style his hair which is why he wants to start another Keyblade War.

We are discussing what could potentially be Xehanort's motive for wanting Kingdom Hearts, so we should all goods.

 

Perhaps Xehanort is just a misunderstood man. He just wants to fit in with everyone but how can he do that with no spiky hair? Poor guy...

No, it was the opposite in fact. He gave me the scar for getting him bald.

 

He was really starting to get on my nerves, talking about the Keyblade War. He just wouldn't shut up. While he was taking a shower, I may or may not have put some wax on his towel.   Was it worth it? Maybe...

In the scene where he was talking to Eraqus in BBS he was already bald at that time and gave Eraqus his scars.....

Guys, I'd like to give you my own opinion about Xehanort's baldness, but I just can't stop laughing, really I just can't ^^^^^^ this is waaaaaaaaay too funny... another question Nomura will have to answer by the end of KH3

Time Travel can cause massive hair loss when you're not Doctor Who.

He tore out his hair in frustration of how many times he's failed.

Master Xehanort must really have loved his hair though. Terranort, Xemnas and Ansem SoD all have long hair. Maybe a hair transplant is part of his next big plan?
