My top three favorite characters I love to play as are

 

Exdeath, Warrior of Light, and Prishe.

 

How about you guys? Who is/are your main(s) in Dissidia and Dissidia 012?

To be honest? Cloud. He was the character I liked the most in KH and FF7 was the only FF game I (partially) played before Dissidia came around. He's still my favorite, but I've grown to like the other characters and their movesets as well. Heck, I even got used to playing Leon Squal and to calling him Leon Squal (well, sort of)! It feels like a good way to introduce newcomers to the series and get them interested in playing the other games. I'm an exception at this point because I am incredibly lazy when it comes to trying new franchises...or finishing them. It would be really awesome if Sora was to be included in the newest iteration, but we gotta wait and see what the higher-ups are going to say first.

Squal and Cloud. Others characters seem uninteresting.

My mains are Terra, Yuna, Kefka, and Exdeath. I generally prefer playing as the mage characters, because their play style tends to be more challenging and interesting. 

Squall, Yuna and Laguna

Gilgamesh and Terra are my two favorite characters. If Celes or Zack join in the new Dissidia, they'll join the other two as my favorite characters.

I like quite a lot of characters,my favorite is Sephiroth,but I also like Cloud, Tifa, Squall, Jecht, Tidus, Yuna, Kuja, Bartz, Emperor, Laguna, Gilgamesh and Cecil

Terra. I truly think she's the best character in the game.

Cloud, Squall, Tifa, Sephiroth, Laguna, Vaan, Gilgamesh, Prishe, Yuna.

I always used to play as Cloud, then I started to vary up my style with Cecil, Terra, Sephiroth, and Firion.

As I continued, I started to main as everyone.  That's not to say it was a challenge.  Some characters got to be a pain in the arsch until they got to their higher levels, WHEN I COULD ACTUALLY GET GOOD MOVES.

Tidus, Warrior of Light, Onion Knight, Cecil, Golbez, Zidane, and Gabranth are the only characters I enjoy playing as. The rest are more of a chore to me.

Tidus, Bartz, and Lightning. I loved playing with them both in and out of their respective story chapters (but I gotta say that I learned to enjoy all of the characters by the end of it).

Squall, squall, SQUAAAAAAAAL!! But I'll also mention Jecht, Laguna, Tidus, Yuna and Kefka (the way he walks is much more than hilarious )

Honestly, I was pretty good with almost all the characters in Dissidia 012, but the ones I loved to play the most were as:

• Prishe
• Gilgamesh

I poured over 500 hours into 012, and in all that time, I'd constantly battle against my best friend/soul brother Dennys, since he was a very skilled Dissidia player as well.  We'd constantly one up each other!  I remember that my cousin Gerson was also quite the Dissidia player, and all three of us would battle against each other!  It was so much fun! X3  Omg, I can't wait for the new Dissidia to come out!

In the original Dissidia I played a TONNE of Cecil for some reason. I find him really awkward now though

The Emperor, Exdeath, Gilgamesh, Kuja, Kefka and Goblez.

I did enjoy most of the characters, but these characters gave a unique feeling of their playstyles.
