in bbs we all know about the d links but did you really use them? I mean think about it we had command styles and shot locks so did you use them all that mush? I did to heal and give them power up but that was all I used them for. what about you?

Believe me, if you play on critical you NEED them. They are really easy to level up and give you better abilities than the ones you start off with. My favorite to use was the Malificent one with Terra, it had all kinds of cool dark abilities once leveled up. Also aqua for that cure.

Of course Mickey is usefull because of his EXP ability.

...But yeah as soon as you have OP abilities or play on proud or easier they are pretty much useless.

I used them mostly for completion, but I found they were actually fun if you used them a bit earlier in the game. Aqua's, especially, is useful for when you don't have Cure yet.

I used them on my level 1 runs to heal but besides that only Mickey when I was leveling up

Ventus was always my most used d-link. That Haste is so sweet.

Only thing i used in BBS was the good old square button... *cough* Anyway  i do remember using mickey D-link for leveling up before learning the megaflare trick that was highly superior in every way.

I maxed out all my d links as i unlocked them.

I loved them.

When you play on Critical and try the Level 1 -challenge, you are going to need them.

Many times they saved me, gave me rare items (Abounding Crystal. Snow White D-Link has Grumby-command. That's like Treasure Raid) and gave me other helpful abilities and commands.

oh yea, they are OP. aqua has auto life, mickey has teleport, and ven has haste and those are the one i can remember. i love using them

Never knew how to get the Pete D-link until a while back, and now I tried to get him as soon as I could, so that way I could wreck the Unversed with that Rumble Car.

But in most cases, I didn't get to use them as often, since the enemies were pretty easy once you reach a certain level and you barely use them in Boss Battles, however, if you're doing a Level 1 Critical run, you'd best use them, since their finish commands grant invincibility longer than ever, and those bosses crush your lifebar if you can't block or dodge their attacks very well.

i think i remember using them to heal in a few boss fights once or twice, but other than that I never actually utilized them in battle. I actually only MAXed them out just for completions sake.

I used them all the time. I (embarrassingly) used Cinderella most of all. That Magic Step thing is great for blasting low level Unversed when you're grinding.

Im just one of those people that feels weird if a gauge is fully filled(aside from hp lol). Mp is up? Time to use some spells. Focus at max? Im wasting all these kills that could be used to refill it.

So i used d-link every time the gauge was at max.

D-Links restore your health so that's the only time i use them. It's like having an extra curaga.

On my most recent playthrough with Aqua I used it one time.

So yeah... I do.

Warning: Language, if that bothers you

I used Aqua's D-Link during my early playthrough of Terra when I was in a tight pinch and needed 'Cure', but generally I didn't really care. BBS's gameplay annoys me, so I never really found reason to try anything out or level up a ton.
