This better please players. I remember when the first installation of the series was ported to PC. I remember players complaining about 720p at 30fps.

Yep, it was shocking. But even when they patched it they still weren't happy.

Hope this will be a good PC port, been thinking about picking it up for a long time now but never got the chance

It's looking that way. You definitely should. It's a very unique game that I love.

The only thing good about the PC version of Lightning returns is literally the mods.

Of course. Motomu Toriyama and his amazing team.

So Australians can't enter? We must rebel against our exclusion.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is a masterpiece. I'll never know why so many people dislike it. It's very unique for one thing. The battle system is unlike any other Final Fantasy. I love being able to assign whatever attack I want to any of the face buttons. The garb system is cool too, and they all look beautiful. The ending literally caused me to cry a bit. After my 6th playthrough of the game, I've come to love it even more. If you haven't played it yet, do yourself a favor and pick it up. :)

Remember to keep telling Square Enix to port the Lightning Saga to PlayStation 4!

Because people hate Lightning & Toriyama for stupid reasons.

Port, please! I'll pick it up in a heartbeat for PS4.

Keep telling SE to port the XIII series to PS4.

Why? It makes no freaking sense. :/

Though I doubt this will change any minds, might as well put my two cents in.

In general, I don't find Lightning to be that compelling of a character. I get the whole "she cares but has a hard time showing it" tends to be a thing in a lot of JRPGs and anime, but it honestly doesn't leave a lot of room for development. The most they do with her is just take something she already is and make it more overt, rather than having her actually get an arc (for instance, not caring at all, and then realizing the importance of humanity). I have not played XIII-2 or 3, but from what I've seen, it doesn't really look like the character gets that arc, and is mostly just operating under the assumption that you're already 100% on board with her, so that they feel more like an appendix of worship than a story (The ending of XIII-3 essentially confirms this).

Not to mention chewing out Sazh for bringing up the topic of potentially killing Serah should she turn Cie'th, saying that "people like him are the problem," and then doing an about face by being fully on board with nuking Cocoon as a potential solution for their problems kind of lost me.
