Frozen may not have been revealed yet because there is going to be a costume change and not all of the models were updated yet. I mean, everyone in the film is in like four layers of clothing so how dumb would sora and the others look in short sleeves?

Featured Replies

That does make sense because they said they were going to try making Sora fit into the worlds better so we wouldn't have weird out of place stuff like the Pirates of the Caribbean world.

They may look dumb in short sleeves if it were winter, but tell that to Sora when he was wearing thick, all black clothing in the Saudi Arabian desert.

They seemed just fine running around the snowy mountains of China in KHII. I think they'll be fine.

yeah but no one else was in winter clothes. Like just being a winter themed world I hope they're going to adjust the outfits for it haha

I  can see it being a fur version of his regular outfit or something.

I'm only for this if he gets it from Elsa in the same way she made her Snow Queen outfit.

Also, here's an idea, how about Sora gets a new costume in every Disney world? I mean, he was supposed to have a lot more in the first game. Like, maybe he has an armor-plated version of his KH3 outfit in San Fransokyo?

That kind of gets rid of the whole point of making the new outfit. It's a cool idea though.

They have magic clothes, they don't need to be dressed for winter. Frozen isn't a heavily stylized movie, so it wouldn't make sense to do that.

Also, I really don't feel it's absolutely necessary to have Sora change appearance in every world unless there's a dire need for it. Like when he's in Atlantica or the Pride Lands, he has to change appearance to survive and fit in. In worlds like Halloween Town and Space Paranoids it's a bit different. With Halloween Town it's purely to fit in, considering how they would stand out if they didn't have any of the textures or appearance of the unique world, so it allows them to fit in. With Space Paranoids and The Grid its just how the world works, you just appear that way. Same with Timeless River, they just appear the way they do so that they can fit in. There's a reason why they don't have to change looks when they're in worlds like Agrabah, Beast's Castle, or the Land of Dragons, and that's because they already fit the style and look of the worlds enough that they don't stand out too much. Sora's clothes are magic, so they handle any small issues like temperature differences, and even then Donald's magic seemed to do the same functions in KH1 anyway, so really they have all their bases covered. So it would be redundant and unnecessary if Sora were to change looks in every single Disney world.

True, but he was supposed to be dressed like Tarzan in Deep Jungle and Aladdin in A grab ah according to those scans that came out a while ago.

Yeah, but those ideas were tossed out for a reason. Either they felt it was redundant or it was just a bit too much to ask for technically speaking, like it might have taken up too much space in the game's code if they did that. Either case, just because it looks cool doesn't mean it's necessary. I don't think Sora would be as accustomed to sliding on trees with nothing but his bare feet like Tarzan is, and he seemed to do just fine with his loose islander garb in Agrabah, so it wasn't necessary for him to change looks. And he certainly doesn't need hero armor to fit in with the Big Hero 6 crew, he's super hero-y enough already that I think it more than makes up for a lack of armor and technology. Plus, he JUST got this new outfit, can we at least just be exposed to it for 40-70 percent of the Disney worlds we get in KH3? If there's a total of 5 worlds or so where he does need to have an outfit change, that's fine, as long as it makes sense enough. However, I will say that if there were small changes made to his design in every other world while still keeping his new outfit, like say wearing a scarf in the Frozen world or a shawl in Agrabah over his regular outfit, then that would be a bit more acceptable in my eyes. But I say that if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

He wore all black clothing in what appears to be a Saudi Arabian area

That's like saying that nobody else was cartoonified in the Pirates world. Not every world has the main trio in different outfits, only the ones where they stick out TOO much. (and even then, there are exceptions like Pirates) I doubt they'll get any new winter clothes.

Trust me if I had my way, the trio would dress up for nearly every world, but it isn't a trend they established early on so it's not really necessary in this case.

If Frozen was confirmed to be in Kingdom Hearts III, then I'm sure there'd be a clothing change for Sora and company, because said clothing change would make them fit in the world, ya know?  Let's just wait and see what happens! :3

It would be cool if just like getting a new keyblade every world you can get a new Outfit as well.
