Ok it's time for the big discussion. The one I'm been waiting for, and no one talked about. The impact of KH3 to non-gamers, and mainstream like pewdiepew, markplier, theradbrad, and more. When kingdom hearts 3 drops, it's gonna be jaw dropping. I even think of a possibility of non-gamer YouTube celebrities play kingdom hearts 3, not that will boost sells. If they add frozen, put it in a kingdom hearts 3 commercial, Frozen fans will go crazy and people who never heard of kingdom Hearts 3 will buy for the world's. I still believe a non-gaming YouTuber will play kingdom hearts 3(tyler Oakley, the mystical morning, gametheroist, or more non-gaming celebs), and with people having never heard of Kingdom Hearts it'll be an amazing first game. Guy's tell me what you think gonna happen when kingdom hearts 3. Heck i even think CNN, and dish nation gonna notice. As big as the following is, majority of it is comprised of long-time fans, or those who have just played 1 and 2 in their childhood. Mainstream Youtubers don't really play games like this (long RPGs that is) so I don't know about that.Don't get me wrong, this is huge for us KH fans, like it is unreal. I think it is more to do with the fact that RPGs are somewhat boring to watch when compared to other types of games. Like these Youtubers have such large fanbases, so do generally try to appeal to everyone. I guess Dark Souls is an exception for Pewdiepie (when it comes to playing RPGs), but even that he just puts highlights of.

Unless you speedrun them. Or do it on a harder difficulty. The laughs will compensate for the boredom with hilarious fails.

It would be cool if he played KH3, it would give it a lot of exposure. Well, a lot more exposure.

Of course we have no idea how a game without a home console title in a decade will do and can only hope it will come back strong like Tomb Raider did. But if Kingdom Hearts 3 was to have commercials with Frozen and Star Wars that would definitely have a big effect on sales.

 

Also, it's not fair to compare the size of Final Fantasy to any franchise. FF is one of the very very few franchises to ever top 100 million sales.

In all seriousness, I think it will just grab some attention, but it won't be huge. If SQEX really goes all out and has a media blitz as well as have networks such as Fox Sports advertise it during their shows and/or during football games, then maybe it will be even bigger in impact.

thanks bro. If they do it right or even have Jimmy Fallon promote it( ), or even steve harvey or the view. I'm just saying random stuff, but yeah, promote it well and it will an explosion in sales. Especially with Frozen.

it's a big game for fans but for everyone else who doesn't have a history with the series it'll just seem like another JRPG with a cryptic title and a number on the end

Probably because I live in Australia, KH isn't really that big year . I'm sure it would've been trending on other places, so that was my mistake

It isn't fair to say that KH only has two main titles when every game is important, Heck, BBS and 3D are arguably more important than the numbered titles (story-wise, they contribute way more than KH1). But a lot of people have only played the first two, which is a shame really
