Posted November 23, 20159 yr Hey guys! I was wondering, do you think there will be a Final Mix version of Kingdom Hearts 3? Almost all the main games have one (exept 3D), but KH 1,2,BBS did! So do you think there will be one? And will it be Japan exclusive?
November 23, 20159 yr No point in Final Mix anymore. If there ever were to be extra content, it will be in the form of DLC. Much easier to work with, especially when it comes to localisation.
November 23, 20159 yr Probably not, but as others have said, we are in the age of DLC, with KH3 front and center. Final Mixes are extinct
November 23, 20159 yr Of course. Other companies just call it "Game of the Year" Edition or Complete Edition.
November 23, 20159 yr Of course. Other companies just call it "Game of the Year" Edition or Complete Edition. That's just DLC pre-installed with the game. It's what they did with XIII-2.
November 23, 20159 yr That's just DLC pre-installed with the game. It's what they did with XIII-2.Yes and I assume that there will be DLC for KH3, which will be pre-installed in a Final Mix Version after a while.
November 23, 20159 yr Yes and I assume that there will be DLC for KH3, which will be pre-installed in a Final Mix Version after a while. The "Final Mix" would just be a random title they throw onto the cover.
November 23, 20159 yr The "Final Mix" would just be a random title they throw onto the cover. Not really if it's technically a Final Mix with new content.Other companies do the same with Game of the Year and Complete Editions.
November 23, 20159 yr Not really if it's technically a Final Mix with new content.Other companies do the same with Game of the Year and Complete Editions. Lol. I already explained. That's just them throwing the game and DLC together on one disc.
November 23, 20159 yr Lol. I already explained. That's just them throwing the game and DLC together on one disc.Yea and I already said. SE can do the same thing.
November 23, 20159 yr Yea and I already said. SE can do the same thing. Of course. But the way you're wording it could easily confuse someone and make it sound like other publishers release DLC exclusively for the GOTY editions. Although I wouldn't put it past BD3.
November 23, 20159 yr Square Enix do not do 'international' versions any more. We'll get DLC. Soar96 said it, and Sora96 is never wrong. Therefore, there will be no Kingdom Hearts 3 Final Mix. Therefore, I can die happy now.
November 23, 20159 yr Soar96 said it, and Sora96 is never wrong. Therefore, there will be no Kingdom Hearts 3 Final Mix. Therefore, I can die happy now. Haha, I'm not always spot on, but I am most of the time.
November 23, 20159 yr As much as I would love one, I'm really not so sure about that. We'll see, I guess?
November 23, 20159 yr NO! They need to just do everything the first time no matter how long it takes. I want to play everything that will exist in KH3 my first time through and not have to get DLC
November 24, 20159 yr Hope not. They're better off just putting in everything they intend to in the first place so that everyone gets a fair shot at getting access to that content. If they must though, then it should be in the form of DLC that is STILL available to everyone. And if it has to be a new disc then, you guessed it, GIVE IT TO EVERYONE DARN IT!! As long as all regions are given their fair dues, I'll be fine with anything, Final Mix or no Final Mix.
November 24, 20159 yr With the amount of content KHIII will have, I seriously doubt there'll be a Final Mix version, ya know? The fact that A Fragmentary Passage was taken out of KHIII and made into its own thing pretty much indicates that KHIII will be quite the content wealthy game, so I doubt a Final Mix will be necessary!
November 26, 20159 yr Nope. With the amount of data the PS4 can hold and the amount of content for the title, a KH3FM won't be happening.
