I don't mind the change from turn based, but I'm really hoping that we get to still control the other people in our party. If they implemented a system like XII where you can switch which person you're controlling quickly, I think it'd be fine.

Well if you didn't notice already, Barret's gameplay was shown in the trailer. So yes, we will get to play as the other characters besides just Cloud.

The game looks amazing and it definitly looks like its a reimagined of the original.I can't wait to play this

But the big question remains: Will there be crossdress Cloud?Make it happen Square! I've waited years for seeing Cloud in a dress in these graphics :C

Getting kinda tired of Square using this same combat style for all of their games. It still looks great, but I'd have preferred it if this was turn-based.

 

 

Me too! I'm really excited about this! Unfortunately there's gonna be those people who are gonna disown it because it's "Not Turn Based."

What's wrong with people wanting it to be turn-based? That's how the original was.

I was always against square remaking FF7 cause I thought they would somehow screw it up

 

But this looks pretty damn amazing, it's crazy that I actually recognise scenes and remember the dialogue from the original

I think that was one of the first things that was confirmed wasnt it?

I remember people at Square saying that stuff like cross dressing Cloud was gonna stay.

Nope. Each FF game has its own story and lore. So you don't have to worry about what FF game to play first. The stories in each FF game is different and does not connect to each other.

Same. I'm actually very surprised to see that SE would show there gameplay this early on considering their track record with their game developement.

Yeah. And tbh this game might be a bit underwhelming for me because it feels too similiar to Final fantasy XV in terms of gameplay. Also why the heck did they give Barret sunglasses and a more calm & collected personality??

The game honestly doesn't look like it'll be that big considering the looks of the gameplay. But hey, that might be a good thing with SE since they like to take FOREVER with making their games.
