Why do we have another Fire Emblem character!?

 

I'm not disappointed, but I'm just questioning the decision.

HOW HORRIBLE.

But she's actually confirmed to be playable.

I saw her just a little bit. She looks cool. I might want her. That one attack where she holds her opponent, looks cool.

edit: I meant this in the sense that I'd rather have Corrin than another clone. I didn't mean Corrin was a clone and I'm actually a little hype for him/her

None of the characters we were expecting won. This is crazy.

I'm excited, especially for Corrin, I'm feeling bad that Azura didn't get in, but oh well, we got something from Fates, and Bayonetta impressed me, and I can't wait to download Cloud today.

Sakurai's said many times that he loves the Fire Emblem series. This isn't all that surprising.

And it's a pretty cool thing that Sakurai didn't just give us what everyone expected. I didn't see any of this coming, and it was cool. Even if I don't care for Bayonetta, that was probably one of the biggest surprises this had.

Great news! More Fire Emblem characters! Now I really have to play fates!

I'm excited this happened, although I was hoping for Azura, but oh well, Corrin's great, too.

I'm pretty sure half this site would complain about anyone who isn't Sora getting in, so I'm not going to even bother addressing the complaints here. Corrin looks like a lot of fun to use, I'm excited to try him/her out!

I care for neither Corrin nor Bayonetta (even though those are games I actually want to get), but for the sake of having all characters and stages, I'm still buying them. So long King K. Rool, Shantae, Shovel Knight and Sora.

Suuuuuuuuuuuure, because Corrin/Kamui is SO SIMILAR to Marth and Lucina.

Thank you. Honestly, I kinda laughed when I saw the trailer start off with Fates. I was expecting that blue haired girl (Aqua?). Corrin looks really cool and much like Robin is actually fairly unique looking.

I think I would have preferred Aqua (Nothing against Corrin, but a second avatar character feels kind of repetitive, even if they're completely different), but Corrin's really cool, too. I had a feeling it would be him with the way the trailer started off. It was actually a really funny trailer, the fourth path appearing made me laugh.

The partial dragon transformation looked cool. It's making me wonder if that happens in Fates, or if Sakurai decided to make it a feature for Smash.

Just because I'm defending a character of a certain franchise doesn't mean I'm a fanboy of it. Truth be told, I barely know anything about FE.
