This is the RP thread for Ashes of a Fallen Empire, a sequel to Tainted Blood taking place a year after its events.  For those of you interested in signing up please visit: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/93439-ashes-of-a-fallen-empire-rp-sign-ups-and-discussion/

Also, please subscribe to this thread so that you may be kept up-to-date with its activity.  Subscribing to the sign-ups is recommended but not entirely necessary.

I know this is a lot to read, but I would request that everyone read this main post through before posting, as it contains some very useful information for getting started in the RP.  The map may also be useful to refer to.

It is in the heart of December in what little remains of the world.  What once was a planet that flourished is now dying from its own society, very little of the earth remaining, predominately dominated by the New Empire itself.  Over the past year a massive war has been waged, one that cost many their lives.  Among the lives lost was the dark emperor himself.  Consumed by power, glory, and darkness, Korben was defeated at the hands of his enemy, the rebellion group started by his ex-general: the Order of Lux.

The Order's leader, Eclaire Tonnerre, sought to create a republic for the remaining nation, striving to end the oppression that was slowly killing their land and its society.  She was going to end the destruction of elves, the experimentation on adolescents, and create peace and true order.  However, things did not go according to plan, and a new evil lurking within the shadows struck.  At the time of victory for the rebellion, Oryx and his men attacked.  They had been waiting for the opportune moment, and arrived it had.  He forced Eclaire to retreat, many believing her to be dead.  Instead, she rallied the remains of her loyal comrades, as well as a few newcomers, to her cause: the Messiah.  A small group working silently, they plan to somehow get things straight, from a new government that treats its society worse than before.  Oryx, the demon god, has now taken his place upon Korben's throne, ruling a crippled Langerdon in the New Empire.  The criminal underworld has aligned themselves loyally, though many seek their own means rather than the good of their nation.

After the war, much was lost, including many of the highly advanced weapons and technology that Gabriel Stross had built and designed.  Tanzynite production has slowed, if not halted, at the loss of Doctor Julius Verstand, causing the deaths of many who were dependent upon Tanzynite.  Now the price of the chemical has skyrocketed, driving people to desperate and drastic measures to acquire the funds for their survival and addiction.

Upon Eclaire's absence and the news of her death, Yevgeni Malachite, human in appearance and part-angel in blood, seized the base of the Order of Lux, disheartened by all of the many lives lost from the war.  So much blood had been shed, and now he is determined to right the wrong and have equal blood shed by the empire.  Renaming Eclaire's rebellion to the Seraphim Order, Yevgeni is the leader of the new rebellion, their symbol one of peace and a union between humans and mages.  Yevgeni's motives and actions are entirely unique and his own, and while he empathizes heavily with losses, there is an odd glint in his eye that makes one wonder if he's enjoying it.

Perhaps you are of one of these conflicting sides, or maybe you have chosen to remain neutral and watch the conflict from afar.  Many of the members of the Seraphim Order are currently leaving Rhasolvich, after a charitable contribution to the rebuild of their village.  Meanwhile, the New Empire is in a conference, with Oryx at their head.  What they shall discuss is up to the Emperor himself, though perhaps the movement of the Seraphim Order, or even Messiah, is of great alarm to them.  Most, if not all members of Messiah, are likely aboard the ship Oathkeeper, doing whatever it is you're doing to keep alive and plan your next move, likely awaiting Eclaire's orders.  If you are neutral, I wish you luck surviving the streets of whatever city or town you're in.  You can be anywhere on the map, but Langerdon is heavily guarded as is the Forgotten Isles:

(All red territories are imperial, whereas blue are loyal to the Seraphim Order and have not yet been seized by the New Empire.  Langerdon is the Imperial capital, while the City of Ruin is the Seraphim Order's base.  Further descriptions of these towns and villages will come shortly, courtesy of Vaude for taking the time and dedication to writing them.)

- Rufus Contralto - Neutral - Mid-flight from Krile to Hylvania -

Rufus was overjoyed when he heard Deuce was willing to accept the position of mechanic, perhaps way too much so because he grabbed Deuce in a colossal bear hug and squeezed tight.

"Young master Deuce, the pleasure is mine!" he uttered loudly, tears in his eyes before dropping the bear hug entirely.  He took a few steps backward, coughed awkwardly, and mused over Deuce's questions.  If the world had not known that Rufus was as batty as a mad hatter, it would most probably have now.  "I know not how old this ship is, to be honest, but somewhere around here I'm sure that there is a manual.  Shipman or Mullens would be the ones to ask there.  I'm proud to say that the S.S. Fantastige has never been shot down yet.  Sure, there may have been a few close calls, but none really worth mentioning for spontaneous repairs!"

Rufus burst into a fit of giggling laughter, hands on his sides as he did, and ceased the merriness as quickly as it began.

"Well, there was that one hole near the engine from our last engagement, now that I think about it, and another in the boiler, haphazardly welded shut.  Know you how to weld?  Oh, belay that.  HARST!"

"Ow! ow! aye, Cap'n?  Ow!" responded Harst from the helm, no doubt flirting with Lelita from all of the sounds of walloping and broken whimpering.

"Pour some alcohol into the fuel, and be quick about it.  Master Deuce here says it will help with our fuel situation!"

"Aye, Cap'n . . . ow!"

Rufus smiled whimsically.  It did not matter what others said about them.  He had the best crew ever.

- Kaspar Ulrich - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin -

Kaspar smiled in his usual manner, that illusion of which he was so fond, and nodded slowly, his dark eyes never leaving Yevgeni's even as he stuck a carrot with his fork and waved it between them.

"The pleasure is mine to grace the halls of the Seraphim Order's leader and his trusted staff.  The room chosen was well to my liking, and my rest left me feeling very . . . revitalised," the necromancer uttered with a dark sense of humour, his expression not changing as he placed the carrot in his mouth and returned the fork to his plate.

In truth, he did not have a mouth, or a jaw in particular.  Instead, the carrot dissolved in his undead presence, robbed of its vitality and shriveling into dust and decay.  Nobody saw this thanks to illusory magic, not unless they had a keen eye, and because nobody was close enough to him not a soul would smell the rot.

- Jasmine (NPC) - Seraphim Order - The Shivering Moors -

Jasmine scoffed at Eclaire's rejection of his offer.  She really had the flair for the dramatic, especially with the display of her divine succubus powers, but nevertheless he understood what she wanted.

"Fine," he uttered, taking a quick glance back at Dark Heart before turning around, "but know that we elves aren't easily stirred into uprising, regardless of your displays and pretty words.  Fortune be upon you."

And with that he was quickly lost in the throng.  More and more people left the once-crowded square, leaving Eclaire, her comrade, and Oryx's servant to their tense situation.

- Zane - New Empire - currently in Hylvania

After Zane punched Paul to the ground Zane stood there staring at the elf on the ground "You should just stay in the dirt where you belong scum, you out of your league here no matter what you try" said Zane right before the elf started to gather water around himself for an attack. Just as Paul shot his water attack in a wild gush towards Zane & readied for a counter strike Zane was now fully ready for anything the elf could throw at him & in this case water. "Ha, you might have gotten the surprise attack on me last time & trust me, it will be the last time that happens" said Zane with a clam confident voice as he held his fan weapon in front of him to not only block the water attack but to also absorb it into his fan. "Lets see how well you handle your own attacks when their sent back at you" said Zane as he then warp'd away reappearing in the air 10 feet away from Paul's right side, as Zane was falling in the air he swung his fan weapon "Take this!" yelled Zane as he shot out Paul's water attack from his fan weapon right back at Paul. Zane then quickly warp'd away again reappearing to Paul's left side, also 10 feet away "& how about this too!" yelled Zane as he then swung his fan weapon creating a massive wave of strong wind heading straight for Paul.

Just then Zane got a message in his ear phone "General Zane, it appears the rebel forces are weakening & they might even be trying to retreat as we speak, orders sir?" said a solider on Zane's ear phone "This must be because of our lords son Crota's appearance & his troops..." thought Zane "Your orders are to destroy any rebel scums trying to escape the area, their ground forces will be easier to deal with while we have Crota with us.  Those rebel scums can die in battle like lions or die running like rats, but either way they will die here." said Zane in his ear phone before putting his attention back on the battle.

- Dark Heart & Sahail (Both Criminal Underworld) - currently in Shivering Moors

Dark Heart's left hand that she had held out twitched for a sec after hearing Eclaire's & the elf Jasmine's harsh words. "Black hearted...monster...you have no idea what I am" whispered Dark Heart to herself before her held out hand clenched into a fist ever tightening with force. "...I know you weren't friends, but you were comrades once, or more like, she was...& now shes me" said Dark Heart as she lowered her left hand & closed her eyes "But if I gave you the truth, would it keep you alive?..." said Dark Heart before she opened her eyes staring at Eclaire with a serious look "I'm sick of this world Eclaire... the only person I loved or cared for is gone, taken away & never to return again. Do you know what thats like?..." asked Dark Heart as she begun to walk slowly towards Eclaire tightening her grip on her peashy blade.

Just then Sahail shouted out to Eclaire, Fiora, the elf woman (Mystic's NPC) & Jasmine "HEY! Big ears & you 2 rebel scum bags! You better not make a move or else, hehe" shouted Sahail. Sahail then approaches from Eclaire's & Fiora's left side with a small group of cowering elves that she has her guns pointed at "You rebels wouldn't want me to have to harm these poor helpless elves now would you? hehehe" said Sahail. Just then another Sahail approached from Eclaire's & Fiora's right side also with a small cowering elf group but this group had 3 children in it, then another Sahail approached from behind Eclaire & Fiora with also a small cowering elf group, then one last Sahail approaches near Dark Heart stopping Dark Heart with her sudden appearance "Well, well, it seems we have guests to greet Dark Heart. Now do play nice this time Dark Heart, we don't want to attracted to much attention like that Godolvia battle okay" said Sahail with a smile with her 2 guns at her hips. It seems as tho Sahail's 4 shadow clones had managed to capture some of the elves that tried to escape the area & is now using them as hostages to create an unfair fight against both Eclaire & Fiora.

"Sahail, I didn't ask for this kind of fight" said Dark Heart "Do I look like I give a darn what you ask of me? besides, this way you can kill them off easy unless of course they don't care what happens to the poor helpless elves in this village, hehe" giggled Sahail with an evil smile. Meanwhile the real Sahail was still reading more books about the past war & such info that happened a year ago with her 6 other shadow clones & was soon about to start the reading on Dark Heart race.

- Rei (Neutral) & Yagyu (Seraphim Order) - currently in City of Ruin

Just as Rei was starting to feel a bit more relieved & not so embarrassed anymore Yev totally threw Rei's nerves into a nervous twist after saying that he & Yagyu will have a meeting later tonight to further decide if Rei will be allowed to join the Seraphim Order. "N-n-no worries h-here, I-I will be g-glad to meet after d-d-d-dinner." said Rei in a nervous tone of voice. Rei didn't feel like eating or drinking anymore what with her being to nervous of what Yev's answer would be.  Rei then decided "Please excuse me Yev, but I must use the rest room" said Rei in a polite manner, Rei then quietly exited the feasting room into the hallway heading for the bathroom.

Meanwhile in Yagyu's bedroom. While Yagyu slept in her bed trying to gain some much needed rest she tossed & turned alot more than normal, Yagyu was even starting to sweat alot as if she had a temperature or a bad nightmare or something. Then Yagyu had a flashback of her battle in Godolvia with Dark Heart "M-my visions starting to blur, d-darn it! I can't be out of energy yet can I?" said Yagyu as she tried to stand firm with Dark Heart just 4 feet away from her. "I... I have to keep using this demon eye's powers until I defeat this evil girl, or my group won't make it out safely" said Yagyu as she readied her weapon for battle. Dark Heart looked at Yagyu's strange demon eye before she lowered her guard "Where did you get that red eye of yours?" said Dark Heart. Yagyu showed a serious look "Like heck I tell the enemy anything!" yelled Yagyu. Dark Heart quickly kicked Yagyu to the ground then placed 1 foot onto Yagyu's stomach pushing down "That eye of yours... you should get rid of it before the instincts set in. Otherwise you won't have a choice in the matter." said Dark Heart right before Dark Heart went for an sword slash attack which woke Yagyu from her sleep. "Ha...ha...it was only a dream." said Yagyu as she looked around her bedroom for a moment "but I still need it..." said Yagyu as she then returned to sleeping.

Eclaire dispelled her twin gunblades, and stopped walking.

"Fiora. Prepare to heal minor wounds." Her body glowed, and now she wore the Valkyric Battle-Armor, Valhalla. In her hand rested the Valkyric Gunsword Overture, and on her free arm was locked the divine shield Goddess' Grace. She let the wind ruffle her feathered waist cape, the bare skin that showed kissed by the wind.

"You knew me when I depended on Tanzynite...but in this fight, you are unprepared. For the Goddess gifted unto me powers beyond your comprehension and containment. Your mere attempts to fight unhonorably are all I need to justify to myself, the use of my power." She raised Overture, and her body hummed with electricity.

"The power I have kept in check...now, you shall feel the wrath of I." She growled. "Army of One."

In a flash she was gone...then she stood behind Dark Heart, Overture now extended to her right. A brief moment passed, before each and every shadow clone was struck with the full brunt of her power, and the captured elves all gathered near Fiora. She did not move. "Fiora. Tend the wounded, then find the owner of those clones." She didn't bother looking to see if any survived. Another heartbeat, and again she addressed Dark Heart.

"My body flows with the powers of a god, Dark Heart. My spirit strengthened by the Coming of the Dawn. When the Advent of the Goddess was upon me, I was changed." She slowly turned around, not lowering her arm. "I am Eclaire Tonnerre. And this battle is over." She flashed forward, faster then lightning itself. Her ultimate power was the devastating Army of One ability - everything. Skill. Magic. Physical prowess. These powers all were multiplied by no less than one hundred percent, and her power already had grown since the last war. And now, she had no time, no care, for these denizens of Oryx, who threatened innocents. She merely struck with the devastating sword technique Zantetsuken...though her personal way was Zantetsuken-Raito: Decree of the Countess. Upon striking her target, a devastating bolt of lightning would descend upon her struck foe with the force of a small, extremely powerful shaped bomb.

And when she came to rest, Eclaire Tonnerre let the wind speak for her.

Fiora - MessiahFiora was very surprised when Eclaire suddenly pulled her out of the airship, causing her to quickly plummet to the town beneath. She let out a loud scream, although she became quiet once Eclaire grabbed her. Feeling safer, she now relaxed a bit, and was calm once they touched down on the ground. Once Eclaire gave her speech, Fiora remained silent, but kept wary of anyone who might try an attack. As usual, Eclaire made a rather flashy show to prove her point. Fiora had grown used to this by now... At least she didn't have to do anything flashy, either. Once a few suspicious figures began to approach, Fiora's hands instinctively moved to her daggers, just in case a fight began. As Dark Heart spoke to the two, Fiora began to become a little nervous. How does she know my name...? She silently wondered. Had word of her spread more than she'd realized before? It wouldn't help to question that just yet, though. Instead, she remained silent, waiting to see what would happen. It seemed as though Eclaire and Dark Heart were about to face off, but a group of hostages made the situation more difficult. This was when Fiora began to get a little nervous... She didn't want anything to happen to the children, but she also had to protect her partner. She kept silent, waiting for orders or a sign of what to do next. This is already turning out badly... She thought, hands still gripping the hilts of her twin daggers. If she had to move, she was ready... However, Eclaire seemed to be able to handle the situation, and gave Fiora new orders. For a moment, Fiora was frozen after watching her partner's attack. Sh-she's so strong... I don't know how I could ever catch up. She quickly brought herself out of those thoughts, and responded to Eclaire. "Yes, ma'am. I'll make it quick." She then began healing the children using her magic. Thankfully, none of them were injured too much. Once she finished, they all jumped up to their feet and thanked Fiora. "Go somewhere safe. It's not a good idea to be out here." She warned them before turning around, then she sprinted off into the town, keeping an eye out for any spots to check. She noticed a large library, and figured that a public building might be used by an enemy to hide their presence among regular citizens. She entered the building and walked through the countless rows of bookshelves, hoping to notice someone who looked like those clones...Allitt - MessiahAllitt sat in silence, listening to the conversations around her. One in particular caught her attention: "So, did you check back in with boss yet? I heard he was willing to pay a lot for that job." One shady man asked his accomplice."Nah, but I'm about to. Taking out that runt was no problem at all." The other man laughed, keeping his speech vague in case anyone happened to be listening in. Of course, he did a bad job of hiding his true meanings. They can probably help. Allitt smirked, then stood and walked over to their table. "Excuse me, men... I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. Do you think it would be okay if you brought me to meet your boss? If he has any jobs for someone like me, I'd appreciate that very much. I may not look like much, but I've got quite a few skills you may find to be of use." She spoke in a confident tone. Manipulating these thugs is always such a breeze. She had to try and keep herself from giggling. Given that the two were drinking in celebration, she figured they wouldn't question a cute girl offering to help them out."Hm..." The two men studied Allitt's face beneath her hood, straining their eyes to take a good look at what she really looked like. "You know, I think that we could find a few jobs for you." One answered, while the other gave a grin. "We'll take you over to him after a quick drink.""Alright!" Allitt smiled innocently. Knew it... This really is simple. She stayed with them for a moment, passing on their offer of a drink. Once they finished, the now-drunk men began leading her towards the hideout of one of the crime lords...Indy - EmpireThe assault on the base had been going well. The guards outside were quickly eliminated by Indy's troops, and they were about to enter the base and claim whatever equipment they could find... However, they were caught off guard by the sound of explosions throughout the city. "That can't be good..." Indy sighed, trying to figure out where the explosions were coming from. Shortly after saying this, a few structures nearby suddenly burst into flames as bits of wood and scrap flew through the air. "Everyone, get to cover!" He quickly jumped out of the way, and used his telekinesis abilities to pick up a rather large chunk of steel that was caught in the explosions. He used it as a shield, and managed to protect some of his other soldiers as well. Unfortunately, some didn't fare so well. Oddly enough, the bits soaring through the air seemed to pull back together... Then shoot back out again. What's causing this...? He quickly observed his surroundings, and noticed that the base seemed to be unaffected by the explosions for the most part. "Get inside! I'll stay out here until everyone makes it safely!" He ordered, and his soldiers began charging off towards the now unprotected shelter.

Vortludo -- Seraphim Order -- Banquet Hall

The Noble smiled when he glanced to Ava, and stroked his hand across her dark hair. "Why, my dear, you are my other half. And if other halves are not to question each other, then what is the point? Senseless agreement would only get one or both halves killed. And I'm afraid that dying would put a terrible dent in our lives, yes?" He spoke to her sincerely. Vortludo then took a sip of his drink, and returned to his seat. He was still rather hungry unfortunately, and wanted to continued eating. And so he did, slicing through the beef at high speeds, enjoying the delightfully spiced taste of the cider. If they were going to be fighting again within 24 hours, he did need his energy.

Cobica -- Seraphim Order -- Entryway

The Half-Breed headed straight for what he knew to be the great hall, the largest building of the base. Of course, everything was camouflaged to seem ruined, but even still, it was easy to tell which was which. The recruits often had problems with it, and Cobica smiled at the thought of thousands of Jynnese soldiers getting lost constantly. Finally he reached the doorway, and kicked it in dramatically. He spread his arms wide as he walked inside. "Miss me? Good. In my lengthy travels I have come across a lost kingdom under the sea, and recruited their mermaid king and queen to our side, along with all their really fast and blowy-uppy technology. Oh, and a few thousand soldiers." Cobica said loudly, calling immediate attention to himself, and presumably to the new guests behind him.

Neena -- Tanzynite Crusade -- Langerdon Apartment

Neena enjoyed her meal quietly, thinking upon her words. Finally she sighed, exasperated at herself. And where the hell did Henry go? He had vanished shortly after Neena had theatrically dismissed Ariana. Whatever. The Dreadnought could take care of himself. She put her dish in the sink, and scrawled a quick note to Henry.

"Going out. Do the dishes or I swear I'll cut off your big toe." And then Neena jumped out a window, and evaporated into shadow.

The Doctor -- Messiah -- Helicopter: Arian

Above Arian, a large noise could be heard coming closer. Soon enough, a helicopter entered the boy's line of sight. It moved towards him, and stopped to hover above him. A voice came from the speaker on the bottom of the craft. "Next time you should try getting yourself a rowboat. Those don't run out of fuel. But I'm presuming. Maybe you did have a rowboat, and got wrecked. In that case, I suggest you check the weather before going out into the sea." The voice mocked him, but the kid should be grateful. The Doctor didn't have to spend time remote controlling a helicopter over there. A ladder descended from the helicopter, allowing Arian to climb in if he so desired.

Cyler -- Criminal Underworld -- Biromoore

Cyler landed, the ground cracking when he did. He swiveled around. "Thug? I'm a thug now am I? Because last I checked, I murdered at least two of your top operatives. And two imperials. Extraordinary people, really. And now they're dead. Because they underestimated me! And still you babble on." Cyler spoke, his tone quite a bit more frustrated than it had been before. "I guess I'll just have to teach you." The Serial Killer said. And then a green aura surrounded him. Angelic Reign in effect, his suit shifted again, to one of red and orange akin to flame. The suit of Ember began to generate huge amounts of flame in his hands, the fireballs growing larger by the second. His green aura expanded and intensified. Cyler cast an illusion of his smiling face over top of the helm of the suit, and then thrust his hands forward towards the group.

And the fireballs flew right towards the hovering Chrysalis, both exploding violently as soon as they came even close, at least three hundred foot radius from both of them. Cyler's suit had shifted suddenly, becoming Gaea before any had even realized he had shifted targets. But now he was focused once more upon these three fools. He threw his hands downward, and caused a massive earthquake, destroying several buildings around them, opening up crevices all about them. As he did this, hundreds of shards of ice formed around his hands, his double dose of Sting of Winter strengthened further by the Angelic Reign. As his final blow, he sent these shards of ice flying towards Jeremy, Draksis, and Zanza. Upon impact they would freeze a chunk of ice onto whatever they hit.

Stark -- The North -- Siege of Hylvania

(would retreat, but wolf mode so YOLO)

Stark glanced to the side, and upon seeing Crota, roared loudly. He then lunged forward at incredible speeds, leaping into the air, and striking at the Son of Oryx's face, enchanted claws glistening in the skylight.

(rapid post mode engaged for Stark. Soon as Kuni replies I will too.)

Jynn & Riley Venas-Seraphim Order (City of Ruin)

Riley looks at he door in awe. As the giant door has opened, she looks around the room within, seeing all these new people. Seeking safety, she somewhat shies behind Jynn's arm, holding it. She was not used to so many people in one room. Noticing, Jynn quietly pokes fun at her. "Come on Riley, I thought you were better than that." Riley nervously lets go of his arm and stands by his side, still nervous. Hearing Cobica's mockery, she is incredibly insulted, but her husband holds her back, seeing her irritation of the Half-Breed.

Meanwhile, Jynn, could tell Cobica was trying to embarrass him and Riley, so he took it in stride. Looking around the room at all the unfamiliar faces, Jynn was a little nervous, but he was excited to meet some new people. Nothing was more exciting to Jynn than to make new friends. Nevertheless, he hid his excitement. He looks at Yevgeni and shakes his head, trying to show him that Cobica was a big pain to be around. He speaks directly to Yevgeni from across the room. "Can't breathe ..." He gasped for air the second the captain let go. The bear hug may have been a little too much for Deuce ,who had begun running estimates of possible ... damages before he was pulled up. He had only one problem with it ... The smell of a pirate who he assumed was displaying affection. He was however genuinely surprised at the reaction he incurred.

"If there's a hole near the engine and you haven't fallen out of the sky then I suppose it's minor ... I guess I'll go and see if anything is wrong just in case."  He reached down his belt which was meagerly equipped but had the essentials. In fact a few items he carried were Orient special issue. The most prominent of which was a metallurgic tool for refining  metal designed by some guy that died off during the Goldovia incident.

As far as the ships layout went he had the gist of it during the one look he had but it was definitely not the way he expected. Of all things he considered the style of the welding done on it and the screw shapes odd but not alien.

"I think I'll go look at it now." He sighed figuring it'd be best to get himself busy before he remembers the others again.

Dorian,Grim - Langerdon Orient trading outpost

"So you lost him?" Asked Dorian who was smoking out of a specially carved pipe and sat on a oriental style chair.

"Yes ... Would you take care of Nalia for a while?" Replied Grim who was looking at some papers on the opposite side of the room. While Dorian's half was very baroque and decorated while his was more dark and red. It matched their appearances especially Grim's.

"Why is that? You planing on something? Or are you just dumping her on me because you know nobody in orient can deal with her when she goes berserk?"

"Mostly the latter."

"Why not. The deal i've struck with Oryx will be a handful for me so I could use some help. Whatever happened to our silent friend?" He said implying Jonathan was missing.

"Yes well he ... Went to see if there's any way to find out who took Deuce was."

"I see. In that case you go on. I'll bring the deity the plans for the settlement and then run the show on behalf of Orient. That agreeable?"

"Why are you so keen on the Empire?"

"Simple. Imagine you have forces A, B and C. If A and B are in conflict it is in C's best interest to help out both sides eventually wearing both out and gaining a monopoly. But in case force A drastically becomes stronger than force B it is in C's best interest to help force A to win the conflict and reaping the spoils."

Kavris - Kaipora -

Wood splintered as Kavris was slammed into the door behind him. As blood trickled down from a small wound that had appeared on his forehead a slick smirk stretched across his face. The gun fire and screams rang out through the town. Both sides were going to be putting up a fight, and it may even be a challenge to make it through the day.

Kavris hadn't been this excited in a long time.

"Good. Very, very good." He almost whispered the words so that only Isaac could hear them. "I was almost scared you would give up too easily. Thank you for not disappoinitng."

A flash of light suddenly erupted in the small space between Kavris and Isaac, and in the split second that it took to temporarily blind nearby soldiers Isaac ducked out of Isaac's grip and dashed to his right, readying his blade once more in his hand. Rebels took the shocking blinding flash a s cue to open a new volley of fire upon the Imperial soldiers. The battle intensified.

Beautiful.

Kavris released another shot of light into the main government building such that the city's main officials could have some room to escape. They needed to stay alive for Kaipora to keep the will to fight. This had to last as long as he could keep it going. He raised his blade to Isaac.

"You should know; I love all Tanzynite, but light and darkness; those powers I love more than just about any other. Don't try to beat me at my own game, friend. Now, let's have a look at how long you fight for your life..."

He dove at Isaac with a vicious slash.

- Dark Heart & Sahail (Both Criminal Underworld) - currently in Shivering Moors

The moment Eclaire was humming with electricity Dark Heart turned her attention to Eclaire sniffing the air "Hm...from above" thought Dark Heart as she quickly tripped the Sahail shadow clone near her allowing the clone to dodge Eclaire's strike, by the moment Eclaire was back turned to Dark Heart Dark Heart had already grabbed the Sahail shadow clone by her neck throwing her high above herself. The other Sahail shadow clones however were taken out in a flash by Eclaire with not one captured elf dead. After Eclaire spoke about having the powers of a god & being changed Dark heart couldn't help but grin lightly. "I too was changed Eclaire" whispered Dark Heart as she quickly then stabbed her left chest with her black matter hands thumb, then in an instant Dark Heart's heart was rapidly beating. As Eclaire flashed forward for her Zantetsuken-Raito: Decree of the Countess attack Dark Heart turned around in time to see Eclaire's strike hit her head on cutting straight through her waist's right side.

On impact Dark Heart's waist's right side shattered into little fragments of black shards on the ground & her bodies insides were all black except her blood, as for the bolt of lightening, the bolt hit the Sahail shadow clone that Dark Heart threw into the air only moments ago which dispersed the bolt all around the 2. Dark Heart turned to Eclaire after watching Fiora ran off to find Sahail "If you wish to kill me quickly that won't happen, never giving in is what I learned from you Eclaire. As for my injury, this is nothing, I can't even feel pain anymore" said Dark heart as she then placed her black matter hand on her injured right side quickly covering it up with some black matter. "You said you gained powers from the goddess...My race was created by a goddess named Eris, & my race's symbol that's in my eye is the symbol of chaos, Eris's chaos symbol. Which means your the one who's going to lose this battle Eclaire & as for Fiora...she'll die here too" said Dark Heart as her peashy sword was charged up "Now why don't you rest in hell!" yelled Dark heart as she sent 3 slash waves towards Eclaire cutting the air itself as they moved. Dark heart's mouth suddenly had some blood dripping from the sides of her mouth.

Meanwhile within the massive library called 'Eternal History Of All' Sahail was just finishing up on reading about the past year & info on the empire war until she could hear the front doors open up "WHAT THE!? I told that little scrap elf not to let anyone in here while I read, grr. Whoever entered through those doors won't be leaving this building with their head on their shoulders." said Sahail. Sahail then hide the Zanzia book within her clothing as did the 6 other shadow clones of her except they hide the books from the past year & info on the empire war books instead. "Lets have a little game of hide & seek, shall we girls?" said Sahail as all 6 shadow clones of her giggled with evil grins on their faces. Sahail & her 6 shadow clones ran off in different directions, soon Fiora encountered Sahail within one of the many rows of bookshelves "Well hello there, I don't know if you know this but, the library is closed, so just turn around & leave won't you?" said Sahail as she pointed both her guns at Fiora.

- White Heart (Neutral- currently in Langerdon

"Hey man, once we're done here you wanna get going to jane's party later tonight?" said Stan (random empire NPC trooper) "Na bro can't, Once I'm done with this mission I have to go on another mission." said justan (Another random empire NPC trooper). Both Stan & Justan were moving through the bad streets of Langerdon with a very small group of troops until they come up to an extremely small, old & abandoned building called 'Hospital Help House' "Sooo this is the place where that red eyed person said to go in the note right?" said Stan "Yep, lets check it out men!" said Justan. The troops ransacked the place while searching for something strange or out of the ordinary, soon one of the troops flicks a switch that was within the girls bathroom that opens up a hidden passageway. They go through the passage way to find a small lab room with a sleeping pod with White Heart in it. "This has to be the android White Heart that was in the note right man?" said Justan "Looks like it man, I guess I owe you $50 this the note was right on the money. I didn't think it was real cause, well, you know. I thought he was dead." said Stan "Lets just finish this mission already, I got stuff to do K" said Justan as he pressed the button to open White Heart's pod & awaken her.

- Rufus Contralto - Neutral - En route to Kaipora -

Rufus remained locked in his silly, contented stupor for a good few seconds before he huffed a sigh and wandered to the side of the ship, looking over the speeding terrain.  It was some time before he spoke again, but when heading to a faraway city in an airship he had plenty of time to do that.

"Captain of a ship and crew I am, but it feels empty, not having something to occupy me beyond close calls and collecting scrap metal.  At the very least I'm bringing a boy to his fellows, but I'm not doing any good in my particular circumstances, not to myself and not of considerable worth to others.  The world is in shambles, as am I."

He mused long and hard, his eyes swallowing the sight of the city of Krile one last time before it disappeared in the distance.  Like before, he was alone with his thoughts, leaning against the railing and losing his consciousness to encroaching daydreams.

- Paul (NPC) - Seraphim Order - Hylvania -

Paul's eyes narrowed into pinpricks as he saw the assault of water -- very similar to his prior attack -- and used his free hand to alter its course marginally.  The result was the majority of the water striking the ground between Zane and Paul and a minority (about a fifth of the buffeting torrent) striking him, soaking his clothes and pushing him sideways with its sheer force.  Had it been the full amount of water crashing down on him, there might have been a possibility for death for the elf general, but he escaped that fate and instead rolled with the surplus of water thrown at him.

Then came the thrust of air behind him, a powerful gust that would have thrown him off of the ground had he not been caught up by the water.  The buffeting blow practically stripped Paul of his protective water casing and tossed him in the opposite direction, but he was more disoriented and coughing up water than harmed.

Luckily, the Imperial general seemed otherwise occupied, allowing Paul enough time to get off of the ground, grab his rapier from his feet (it was torn away from him in the two tumbles he received), and prepare.

"Crazy moves you have there," he heaved, still spitting up water.  "Redirection and teleportation, huh?  I've never such skills.  However, you forgot to dry your weapon.  That's not to mention your clothes."

Holding up his sword hand, he commanded some of the water to fly into Zane's field of vision, a parlour trick meant to distract while he surged some water beneath Zane in the form of a small geyser, emanating from the ground and, to Paul's great hope, up to strike him from below.  The best thing about controlling water is its limitation of movement to one's opponents, and with enough water covering Zane he could slow him down a little just by its additional weight.  The force of the rising water would help too, hopefully tossing Zane high and catching him by surprise.

Meanwhile within the massive library called 'Eternal History Of All' Sahail was just finishing up on reading about the past year & info on the empire war until she could hear the front doors open up "WHAT THE!? While Eclaire was busy confronting Dark Heart in the heart of town, Jasmine maintained vigil on the young lady that was beside Eclaire beforehand, watching Fiora from the crowd.  Granted, he was a terrible tail, losing sight of her a few times before following again, but he managed to watch her amble her way inside the library.

Strange, he thought.  She doesn't seem like the reading type, nor does it seem like a place anybody would go.  Some of the dust gathered on these books are older than many of the elves working amongst these halls.

Nevertheless, he followed her up the steps, careful not to attract too much attention from Fiora or others as she entered the building.

-Chrysalis and Jeremy-

Chrysalis easily avoided the attack directed at her, and from her back came beautiful bitterly wings burst to life.

"First Seal of the Fairy Queen, Cinder: Embers in the Storm."

From her wings wafted hundreds of small lights. They covered the sky, and Jeremy touched down, hands in his pockets.

"Sorry Darky, but..."

The embers then fell hard, like small light bullets. In the storm of embers Jeremy leapt back and vanished in a flash of light, blindly teleporting away from the battlefield...and where he ended up, all he knew was that he slammed into some tree and fell unconcious.

Chrysalis, meanwhile, turned tail and flew fast and hard away. The battle was not hers, and instead...she headed for Kaipora.

-Sasha-

"Where is Traynor?!"

"Here."

Her ground leader was patched up, out of armor which clearly had been destroyed. She had a wrap around her eye.

"I lost half my team. Those werewolves know no reason."

"I see. And the remaining Seraphim Order?"

"Those that we could evacuate we have. I think their commander is still on the field of battle, engaging the enemy. I also managed to evacuate as many civilians as we could."

"Helm. Commerce combat takeoff. Pinpoint Order general and clear the area around him. Commerce a hard attack on the enemy tomb ships and clear a point of escape."

The Caladbolg rose into the air as the shield once again covered the ship fully. Guns primed as it moved, and the first tomb ship was sighted.

"Fire at will."

The main guns fully fired upon the first tomb ship. It was mainly a troop transport, meant for intimidation. Which meant it was tore asunder by the Caladbolg.

The second was no different, the mighty destroyer devastating the five tomb ships with little trouble...but the rest o the oncoming fleet would cause problems.

"Turn towards Feldspar, and aim all canons into the army."

The Caladbolg reigned fire and death upon the Taken army, and Crota's reinforcements. Sasha looked back at the battlefield, and opened the secured Order comms.

"Seraphim Order. Caladbolg has opened an es ape corridor towards Feldspar, to which by now will be in uproar. This is all I may offer now. I have rescued as many as I could, and evacuated all I could. Messiah promises the battle at Hylvania will not be forgotten."

Sasha paused. "May the Goddess be with you all."

The Caladbolg entered hyperspace, and disappeared from the battle at Hylvania.

-Victoria-

From the gates Indy destroyed walked a woman in skintight combat armor. From her hand had extended a blade aglow with divine power.

"Indy...Caelum." Victoria breathed. "The man I hold feelings for. Will you continue this attack...or will I be forced to hurt you?"

-Eclaire-

She brought up her shield and weathered rhe three waves, skidding back many yards. She looked up and extended Overture.

"I communed with the Goddess. She requests I don't waste my precious pool of energy on such a monster." Her Valkyric Blade disappeared, and was replaced by the massive Buster Sword called Stratus Conflict. She advanced upon the monster known as Dark Heart.

"Your goddess decreed destruction. My goddess decrees life. Your mark is your eye of chaos...mine is the light I bring at every victory." She watched the blood drop.

"And threaten my wife once more, and I will cease worrying about the state of the city, and more that your body ceases to exist."

She flashed forward with the same speed she was famed for, and with the massive blade sliced diagonally at Dark Heart's chest, aiming to cleave her in half from shoulder to hip.

"And Heaven is preparing to revel at my coming, the day I walk into Dawn's Palace in victory!"

-Yevgeni and Ava - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin-

Yevgeni returned Kaspar's words with a swift nod.  "Indeed.  Now, please, tell me, Kaspar: what is it that you specialize in?  I understand that your practice in the magical arts could aid our cause.  I would like to request you join us tomorrow on our departure to Lysengard.  Given your skills I expect to keep you out of the front lines and out of harm's way, if that is of any assurance."

The blond turned, noticing that the blue-haired woman seemed awfully nervous about speaking to him whatsoever.  A slight frown furrowed his brows.  Really, what was Yagyu thinking by bringing her here?  Still, he could use all of the aid he could get, but Yev was starting to highly question this woman's competency.  She excused herself, to which Yev barely acknowledged as he overheard his friend discussing matters of love and survival to his significant other.  His emerald eyes held the two momentarily.  Vortludo was so caring and tender toward her, the woman he despised recruiting.  Their love and concern for one another, however, was quite touching, something that brought moisture to Yev's eye and a smile to his lips.  How it must have felt to be close to someone, and to love someone so.

Meanwhile, Ava's cheeks flushed as she laughed, shaking her head under Vortludo's gaze.  "Yes, well, that would be true," she admitted.  "And if I didn't have this noble right here to catch my wrist from recklessly rushing into things I wouldn't have my neck intact to thank him."

As the meal continued on, the door to the great hall burst open with great force.  There Cobica stood, acting like he was the greatest thing to hit Broadway in years.  A light sigh escaped Yev's lips as he brought a gloved finger to his temple.  Always the dramatic one, that Cobica.  If their interests didn't align so heavily, he had to question his judgment of placing him and not Vortludo second-in-command.  The half-breed's words immediately caught Yev's attention, his eyes meeting Jynn's with complete seriousness.  "So the legends are true, then," he murmured softly under his breath.  He beckoned them all in with a wave of his hand.  "King Jynn, my sincerest apologies for having doubted you.  With enemies surrounding us and their surveillance stronger than ever before, I must be wary of whom I trust.  However, I am honored to join forces with you.  However, I must ask: why are you interested in joining the Seraphim Order?  Does Oryx know of your existence?"

The blond's hand shifted to a pair of empty seats, where Riley and Jynn could sit.  "Please, have a seat and enjoy this meal.  We are quite nearly finished, I'm afraid, but you are welcome to stay and dine for as long as you wish."

Indeed, the meal was nearly finished, with the majority of delectable dishes being devoured and many wine bottles emptied.  Ava slowly took a bite of mashed potatoes.  It'd been a while since they'd eaten good food, but if she continued like this she would likely burst.  She set her silver fork down and dabbed her mouth with a napkin.  They had only just returned, and they would be off again quite soon.  It seemed like it was constantly mad rushing nowadays, and never could she enjoy the moments anymore like she used to, particularly those with Vortludo.

"Vort," she murmured softly, leaning into his side.  "I think I'm going to excuse myself now.  Would you . . . care to go for a walk with me, at a leisurely pace, obviously, since we just ate."  She wanted a moment with him, alone, with just the two of them.  Heck, she couldn't remember the last time they had just spoken carelessly about the world without others present.

-Isaac - New Empire - Kaipora-

"Then I would suppose you haven't fought against many men worthy of their title," Isaac muttered, his breathing labored as he held Kavris pinned against the door.  The blind of light threw himself--as well as many of his men--for a loop, however, causing Isaac to allow Kavris free.  Gunshots could be heard outside the building.  Obviously, the light was a signal to the rebels somehow.  Isaac growled under his breath.

It didn't take long for Kavris to retaliate, charging at him with several slashes.  Isaac's footwork and training served him well, allowing for him to back up and dodge the majority of the slashes save for one, which cut into the flesh of his upper right arm.  The general drew in a breath and swore, blood flowing freely from the wound.  His heavy armor would protect him from quite the amount of damage that Kavris could deal otherwise, but a good slash to his unprotected areas was certainly a hazard.

Isaac knelt and seized his machine gun, which he'd tossed on the ground earlier.  Shinobi had certainly done a number to it, and he was uncertain of how serviceable it still was.  "Shall we check this out?" he asked, his eyes fixating on Kavris as well as his weapon.  "I'd hate to find out it works and just kills you.  I have a heavy amount of mages at my disposal, and hundreds of men out of these doors.  Even upon my death you will not win, so there is no point in throwing your life away.  This game is over, so I would suggest you just give up now."

Please,he thought to himself.  This man would make a very valuable asset to the New Empire alive, and Isaac was hoping that his body wouldn't be skinned upon arriving to his home dead, by none other than his wife of course.

-Nolan Vigil, aka: "Arkham" - Neutral, fights for Eclaire and for Zion's Will - Hylvania-

The somewhat more advanced and fancy looking Taken Knight did little to bother or even faze Nolan, who after the initial surprise attack, readied his weapon and remained diligent. "A Lieutenant, hmm? No matter...you'll die just the same as your brethren." The Mechromancer stated with confidence, the grip on his sword tightening as he uttered the last word, yet as he did, the Taken Knight showed awareness of what he was saying, of course minor traces of consciousness or even partial sentience was not uncommon in certain Taken troops, this one was different.

It had full consciousness and sentience. Arkham could see its subtle movements, its reactions and general behaviour...plus what occurred shortly after what he said: Laughter. The Taken Knight laughed at Nolan, a demonic sounding yet hearty laugh indeed looking very uncanny upon its mostly black face as it stretched out due to a Knight's already larger mouth being dislocated so it could spew fire as one of it's attacks, but in times like this, it just looked messed up. "Shonash krish haush ney, rok sol ahsa veeey~" The Knight spoke in Hive Tongue at first, already knowing his foe would not understand him yet it taunted him, in two ways. "Your Light...is feeble in the face of my Master...The Taken King shall never fall. You will allow him to Take you and become subservient to his will...or you will die, like the rest!!" This Taken was just as dramatic and foreboding as Oryx, gesturing and enunciating his words extensively in both areas and raised it's blade, pointing it at Arkham as it concluded, snarling a little.

A sigh merely escaped Arkham's mouth, who stood up properly with his blade to the side at a usual 145 degree down angle, a familiar pose for many sword users. "Tell me, Blighted Beast...what is your name?" He asked the Knight, his distorted voice held a tone of genuine curiosity, which mildly amused the creature of darkness. "Very well...I will entertain this notion." He stated, then lowered its weapon and took a somewhat proud seeming stance. "I am Xotaur, Exalted Blade of Oryx. There has been a Shield of Oryx, there have been Hands...now, there is a Blade. My abilities, performance and intellect proved Oryx right about a hunch he once had about me, that I would have been worthy of the name Ascendant had I remained Hive. Now, I am the Exalted Blade...and you haven't a chance against me!" His tone was that of pride and boasting, clearly Xotaur held himself in high regard with an ego boosted by the King himself. "In any case, look around you...our forces are overwhelming, and even now the son of the Hive King himself is here, bringing forth is own troops. I am sure you know of the God-Knight?" Xotaur gestured with a wide, slow sweep of his sword to all of the Taken, plus Crota who had arrived and summoned Tombships full of Hive, ready to descend upon the already battered town.

Nolan paused for but a moment, giving the Taken and Crota a passing glance, not that Xotaur could see it beneath his Tactical Visor, neither was the glare focused on the Exalted Taken that followed. "Then you may call me Arkham, Enforcer of Zion's Will. I don't care how many troops you bring in or whatever Gods descend...I will do what I must." He replied, once more taking his fighting stance, even if he was a little concerned about Crota. The Son of Oryx's Darkness could be felt pressing up against Nolan, attempting to smother his Light just because he was standing in the distance. The Exalted Blade of Oryx raised his Ascendant Blade, preparing the first strike, almost ready to swing until he saw something in the sky, and he smirked, lowering his weapon. "The artillery is here...and it does not discriminate, foolish follower of a broken Goddess!" With this, Xotaur teleported far away, surprising Arkham enough for him to turn around and see that the Knight was right: A colossal ship (The Caladbolg) had attacked Crota's Tombships and was now raining death upon the Taken and Hive, decimating Hylvania as it went, with a steady wall of fire and explosions rapidly approaching the Mechromancer. "Oh shit!!" He called as he rushed for cover, the screams of dying Taken sounded around him, with a Gate Lord firing off a projectile that threw Arkham off balance and a bombardment shell impacting near enough to hurl the man into a building, through its walls and deafening him temporarily with ringing in his ears as he rolled and came to a stop in the now barely holding together frame of a now roofless house.

The Mechromancer slipped in and out of consciousness for brief moments, his perspective showed his vision was blurred but his HUD was intact. The ringing in his ears began to subside as he clenched his fist against the ground, scooping up some ashes in his angered grasp, raising himself slightly and looking to his right, picking up his blade which had been covered in the same ash, standing up amidst the burning structure and staring off across the war-torn town, Arkham slid his Sword back onto his back which shook off all ash as his gaze fixated on Crota. "Thank you, Zion..." He said a quick prayer for his survival to the Goddess of Light, then he walked towards the door of the house and kicked it straight off its hinges, standing in the open once more. No sign of Xotaur, so he immediately took off towards Crota, taking out his sword again and bellowing out a battle cry at the top of his voice.

-Ayane Takahashi, aka: "Shinobi" - Neutral, wishes to join Messiah - Kaipora-

Shinobi had no choice but to watch the fight between Kravis and Issac take place for now, as he was definitely handling himself for the most part, but now Issac grabbed his damaged gun once more, springing the Cyborg Ninja into action, who jumped in front of Kravis and sent out her sword again, making several fast hand motions with said hands channeling blue, slightly blighted energy, that made her sword slice at his rifle, intending to slice it apart.

-Zanza Quinn - Neutral, aims to join Messiah - Biromoore-

The Nephalem cared not for Cyler's actions, shown especially when he noticed the rain of Ice Shards descending upon him and Draksis, Zanza merely took out his word and slashed rapidly upwards and around the pair, making sure not to hit Draksis as he hadn't decided on whether he would confront him yet, his dimension-altered slashes covered them for long enough to shatter the Ice Shards that were headed directly for them, and a good thing too, because that was as long as he could hold up the "Slash Shield" up enough before it became useless. This technique was meant for brief reflection or last second protection, which he did, then sheathed his Katana again. "Hmm...we've lost Jeremy...a pity..." He mused, then he lowered his Katana to his waist again. "So, tall, dark and enigmatic? What do you say to helping me dispose of the thug? He is the only one here without honour or dignity, especially so with only powers not his own and stolen through dirty means?" Zanza proposed to Draksis, open to the idea of co-operating with him to eliminate a far more...despicable individual.

-Crota, Son of Oryx - New Empire - Hylvania-

Hearing the roar of Stark, Crota was quick to turn his head to catch the Werewolf sprinting towards him in time, already preparing a sword swing as he already had it in hand and ready, swiping it to the side with the intent of knocking away the hapless beast and protect himself.

The Tombships fell from the skies and crash landed into the town below, two of them exploding upon impact, bellowing fire and smoke into the air as the Hive inside roasted alive. The remaining three retained most of their Hive and they all swarmed out shortly after landing, but half of them were decimated when the Caladbolg made its attack run. It did not matter to the Hive, for they fired their weapons and the Thrall swarmed the Town quickly, with two Wizards performing a small ritual to summon forth a Hive Ogre, who immediately started spraying a nearby tower with a purple energy beam, roaring all the way.

The Skies of Hylvania

The battle raged, but as the Taken began to advance and take ground, pushing Stark away from victory, salvation came in the dorm of a new vessel exiting hyperspace.

"I cannot help you. Using Celestial Magic to create a timeless space is draining, nearly fatal. You will be alone."

"Well. It's a good thing I'm never alone. I carry those closest in my heart."

"Godspeed."

The ship was easily the size of a dreadnought. But it did not open fire...no, it did not have much in the way of weaponry, in all honesty. Instead it exited at full burn, running over three Tomb ships without caring. They exploded against a shield far beyond what the Caladbolg had shown. So what, in the crew's pure insanity did it do? Why, the pilot probably took lessons from Eclaire herself...because, all power to shields, the massive dreadnought just committed the biggest roadkilimanjaro ever to grace the pages of history. Flattening hundreds, if not thousands of the Taken, it came to a rest by the Ogre, which turned.

A single ramp lowered, and from it burst heavenly fire. The Ogre roared and backed up, and as it made ready to fire a stream of energy, a massive blast of pure magic engulfed it, rending it to ash. From the darkness came a single figure.

"Sorry I'm late. Celestial Elves get pissy when you commenced a hyper jump from the hangar itself."

Jeremy Tobias Hunter, a massive black sword over his shoulder, walked down the ramp.

"You must sacrifice your Angelic blood, your entire side of the angels, to earn this power."

"Will I be able to protect all I hold dear, and all that needs a guardian, better?"

"Yes."

Jeremy stood still as lances of laser fire erupted from behind him, defense turrets keeping monsters from entering. He walked forward and grabbed a Werewolf.

"Sound a retreat inside. I will cover you."

He continued on as the Taken advanced, and with his innate telekinesis withdrew two small shortswords, both like Eclaire's Overture. Zion has said their names were Flare and Surge. They stayed in sword form. He didn't need gun form for this.

Taken began to crowd him, but he merely tilted his head. The revolver chamber on his sword began to turn.

Click.

Click.

Click.

Click.

"You guys seriously firetrucked with the wrong guy." His new sword glowed with blue energy. "Note to self: Thank Derik for having this." He kicked forward and swung the blade, a wave of energy decimating the forward vanguard blocking his path. He took flight and cut threw some wizards, and finally spotted Crota. Charging at full speed, Flare and Surge sheathed (and didn't need to draw them...waste of a good moment) and landed hard, skidding in behind Stark.

"Get to the ship." He told the probably hurt Stark.

"As for you, big tall and ugly as firetruck...I happen to have wanted to bring him back unharmed. Guess I'll settle for your arm."

"Your stamina will drain. It will not give you any magical increase. Only physical."

"That's fine. I have magic. I have telekinesis. The strength is what I really need for this."

"You will have to change your fighting style, Jeremy. You do not have your Angelic power. You gave up all of that to become...human."

"Or, you know, I bestow the Goddess' Gift on him."

"...Zion."

"Elli."

"You should go away. Demon Reign "

The area around Jeremy erupted in black energy. His body was outlined by a black aura, and next push would throw Crota's sword up. He kicked off, and came to hard - he was going to kick this guy's ass, and he'd do it after breaking that damn sword. And so, he brought Gladius down upon Light-Swallower with his full strength.

"Get out of my country."

"If you bestow him his powers again, Zion, the Reign could be affected."

"He's too stubborn to let that happen."

"...as you wish."

Jeremy's new sword

-Chrysalis & Tiriel-

She finally arrived at Kaipora...to find a new foe had appeared. And to hear horror...it was her old friend.

Tiriel was amongst the Order fleet, currently destroying a frigate. Summoning Destiny's Embrace, Chrysalis charged in and blocked a blow, kicking Tiriel in the face and sending her flying. She back flipped and recovered, to find Chrysalis already swinging.

"You...were...Chrysalis."

"I always will be Tiriel!" She cried. "I accepted my fate. But I refuse to accept yours!" She flared her wings and unleashes a swarm of light magic, to which Tiriel flew fast and dodged. Rika continued her attack, to which Tiriel returned fire. Explosions dotted their flight paths, the battle fierce between the divine warriors - Rika, or Chrysalis, touched by the Goddess and one of the strongest in Messiah. Tiriel, Fallen Valkyrie, a powerful angel of Retribution. Both danced across the sky, trading blow after blow, neither wavering in their fight.

"You...will...submit."

"Not to you!" Rika spun and kicked Tirel's face again, the Valkyrie confused to how she kept landing that blow. Backwinging, she fired off a swarm of seeker missile magic, to which Chrysalis summoned Dawnguard, Divine Magic Shield System. Amidst the smoke she charged again, their sword fight punctuated by magic.

But Rika was tiring. She needed Tiriel to fall or run...

She couldn't keep this up.

"Just...die."

"Just fight!" Rika roared. "You coward! Fight Oryx, fight the darkness! You were Zion's Valkyre, an Archangel of Retribution! So STOP BEING A COWARD AND FIGHT."

That dark sword crashed down upon Rika's own. "I...fear...nothing."

"Then you'll fear me." Chrysalis did one of the craziest and most Zion things ever.

She leaned over the swords and kissed Tiriel.

The fallen angel jerked back in confusion and...revulsion...when Chrysalis unleashed her next attack.

"Second Seal of the Fairy Queen, Cinder: Blessed Ember."

Light embers surrounded and covered her. They burned and hurt, and Tiriel convulsed in agony. Them the embers exploded, throwing the fallen angel far, far away.

Rika thought she did that. But she realized that instead...Tiriel ran.

She turned to the battlefield, panting. Enemy fleet. Enemy ground forces. Victoria facing Indy and Kusanagi getting into position.

"No sweat. Just like old times. Out numbered, outgunned, surrounded. Just like Biromoore last year. Lysengard. Langerdon." She angled and shot forward. "Again, let us prevail through the fact our cause is just, our goddess great, and our skills sharper than any enemy blade."

- Gabriel Stross - Newly released Mechromancer - Hard at work.

Saying Gabriel wasted no time beginning to develop was an understatement, the moment Fiora took off he instantly went to the engineering area, and began his work, in hours the whole place turned into his own little "lab". Thankfully the Messiahs had pretty good equipment...just not exactly perfeclty maitained, they had weapons, robots, all of which he could work on. It was perfect.

Small robot drones began flying around the ship, picking up stuff to just being regular security drones armed with stun weapons to patrol the halls, Gabriel created himself a drone for personal assistance too, he had intentioned for his AI 'Glados' to take control of the drone, but the bloody AI refused to, so Gabe had to make a brand new one, which did not have means of speaking right now, but could create different noises to try and communicate, recording voices for the Ais was troublesome, not like he had a voice to do so anyway.  The drone was equiped with an assortment of equipment, ranging from weapons to gadgets, like a shield generator, and with a healing dart thrower. As well as a 10m double barrel full auto machinegun which would also be electrified, it was also packed with a tazer. Just in case.

Gabriel's current project? it was actually three projects. Project #1: Enhance the ships's weapon systems, which he was working on some upgrades to install.

Project #2: Make better guns for the Messiash. Taking from the rifle he gave to Fiora upon his release (which she should still have...). He got some weapons from the messiah soldiers and began to tinker with them, improving damage, reliability, recoil and accuracy, as well as adding electric effects to the guns. Also making the guns Id locked, which they would take the imprints of the first person to ever hold the gun's trigger, and the weapon would only work for that person. Quite complicated.

The new gun battery was on a stand to the left as Project #3 was at the opposite side...What was project #3? A friggin mech suit so Gabriel could assist the messiah's in combat. (further mech details to be given in the future).

Henry - Neutral - Apartments.

The arrival of Ciriel surprised him, even though he didn't show much surprise in his expression, he wasn't expecting anyone to just show up and speak to him as if they knew him. "firetruck...are we that easy to find?" Henry commented, considering Ariana found where he and Neena lived just a few hours ago, and now they had someone else who knew where they lived.

"We should have gone underground..." He said sighing at the end. "A proposition huh? It couldn't possibly be  an offer for me, Neena and possibly Ari here to join whatever faction you're working for..." Henry commented drily as hell, he figured exactly what Ciriel was here for the moment he saw her and heard her Speak of a proposition. He motioned for them to follow him inside the apartment.

Upon coming back to it, he noticed hte window was opened..."firetrucks sake Neena." He muttered. "Ciriel right? looks like you're gonna have to wait a bit, the ninja just jumped out the window...soooo can I get you two lovely ladies something to drink?" Henry asked both Ciriel and Ariana as he walked over to the fridge.

- Maxis - Messiah - Dealing with dwarves -

"And how do you think im going to convince anyone with dried blood on me? you talk with them...i'l make them listen..." Maxis said shrugging as Jadis went to do his thing, the boy was quick, that was for sure, and he managed to prevent a surprise axe to the back for him too, so thats one debt repaid in a sense. Maxis turned to face the small group of dwarves charging at him with picaxes. Prompting Maxis to simply cloak. Walk around while they were confused as to where he went.

Create two clones, surrounding the small group of angry pickaxe dwarves, as Maxis and his clones simply began to punch the living shit out of them, dodging pickaxe blows, and countering with their own meele attacks, all of which were aimed at pressure points in the dwarve's bodies. Swiftly disabling the small group of dwarves.

"Dwarves...I think you should all, listen to the boy, lest you all want your blood on my armor too...Im sure you would hate your blood mixed with imperial's eh?" Maxis said, changing from menacing to carefree and sarcastic all in the same sentence. with a shrug. As he simply cloaked, to avoid further attacks, as his Clones vanished.

- Draksis - New Empire - Biromoore -

And then the ruffian attacked Draksis, to no avail. As all Draksis had to do was motion his hand to the side as the ice blast was simply redirected to the right, missing him completely. Too bad too, he wanted to fight this 'Chrysalis', who had now left, heading somewhere else. He simply turned to Zanza as the nephilim proposed they fight Cyler.

"I came for one purpose, for Messiah's higher ups, to see if they are worth considering as threats...for as much as I would enjoy a fight right now, I fear business calls me to another place...till we meet again." Draksis said as he snapped his fingers, as a large portal appeared above him. A portal straight to the abyss dimension, with extreme darkness power coming off it, something came out of it...a dragon.

A black dragon, one eyed beast of darkness. Draksis's pet. 'Kalameet' flew over Draksis and company, as Draksis vanished, teleporting himself on top of Kalameet. And following the trace of magic Chrysalis left behind as she flew...towards Kaipora. And thats where he was heading now too.

Jynn & Riley Venas-Seraphim Order

Jynn raises his hands in front of his chest. "I understand. At times like this, it is best to be cautious of others. However, I will assure you, I am no threat to your cause." Riley looks around the room, and then her eyes meet Yevgeni's. Nervous, she slightly hides behind Jynn. Her husband puts his arms down. "Also, you don't need to address me as "king" or anything, just "Jynn" is fine." He listens closely to Yevgeni's questions. After hearing his concerns, Jynn chuckles. "I had a feeling you'd ask." He takes a seat with Riley shadowing him, still nervous. He leans back in the chair and puts his arms on the armrests. It has been a while since he was able to relax. "First off, regarding your question about Oryx knowing of my existence, no. He should be unaware of me. My home and my identity, or anybody's identity, is kept hidden." He reaches out and grabs a glass of whatever was in it. He then drinks the entire thing, although his powers prevent him from getting intoxicated. "Now, the reason I wish to join you is simply because I do not like imperialism. At my coronation, which was last year and was why I couldn't assist you earlier, I vowed that I will prevent imperialism from spreading anywhere in the world, even if it was in a country I do not occupy." Jynn puts the glass down.

- Zane - New Empire - currently in Hylvania

After Paul mentioned Zane's weapon & his clothes being all drenched in water Zane's vision was instantly distracted by some water. "What!?" said Zane not expecting this kind of trick from Paul's water moves. Zane could faintly see the water under his feet about to surge upwards at him, Zane quickly tried to warp away but he's warping speed had been slowed down by the water weight & Zane was struck by the rising water "GAHH!!" yelled Zane as he was tossed high into the air & not only that but his fan weapon snapped off his chains & flew off into a nearby tree. Zane crushed into the ground hard "Grr...I hate to admit it but, your better than I thought for an elf. Managing to catch on to my warping speed & slowing it down is something no one would have thought of. But then again your race is highly intelligent so I should have expected this outcome..." said Zane as he got back up from off the ground. Zane quickly took a moment to look around at the state of Hylvania before staring but at Paul "I'll give you this battle young elf, but I'm afraid you lost the war & much more." said Zane as just then a lot of empire troops surrounded the 2 "Looks like my troops I sent to the outer area have finally arrived to my location, Too bad for you?" said Zane as he then slowly warp'd away retreating while letting Paul deal with the rest of his troops. Also Zane's fan weapon had mysteriously vanished.

- Dark Heart & Sahail (Both Criminal Underworld) - currently in Shivering Moors

Dark Heart looked closely at Eclaire's way of movements & defense & when Eclaire spoke about communing with her goddess Dark Heart showed a slight annoyed look "So you can hear your goddess too? I guess I'm not the only one then" said Dark Heart. As Eclaire got out her massive buster sword Dark Heart readied herself for anything & as Eclaire flashed forward "Not so fast!" yelled Dark Heart as her black matter arm quickly formed into a black matter sword similar to her peashy sword cross blocking Eclaire's strike. The pressure from Eclaire's buster sword pushed Dark heart's legs to bending halfway & cracked the ground under her feet but Dark Heart was managing to clash blades with Eclaires. "Wife?...I see, so she must be your light then..." said Dark Heart right before she showed a little grin on her face "Then answer me this Eclaire" said Dark Heart as she then slid her blades to her left leading Eclaire's buster sword into the dirt & quickly doing 3 back flips away from Elcaire. As Dark Heart stood there staring at Elcaire she spoke "Eclaire...If you lost your only light would you seek revenge on the world for taking your light away?" said Dark Heart with a serious look in her eyes.

Meanwhile Sahail was nicely settled in a cozy chair in an area much deeper in the library & it will defiantly take much longer to find her now what with her clones creating noises around the library gaining attention to them & not the real one. "Ahh...now that the intruder is being kept busy, Where to begin?" said Sahail to herself as she opened the first page of the old Zanzia book "Lets see here, here the index. CH1-Zero Dimension. CH2-Old war, CH3-Zanzia creation, CH4-Unknown Disease, CH-5 New Gen, CH6-Whispers. Hmm...there is quite a bit of interesting areas to read through. I wonder what CH3 holds, hehe." giggled Sahail as she started to read CH3. Meanwhile one of Sahail's clones was face to face with Fiora telling her to leave.

- Rei (Neutral) & Yagyu (Seraphim Order) - currently in City of Ruin

Rei had just finished up in the rest room & was washing her hands while smiling in the small mirror in front of her feeling much better & not so nervous now. "Okay now, you can do this Rei, just keep calm & relax. Just...relax...yes! I can do this! If I can join this Seraphim Order I can help others everywhere so lets toughen up & do this!" said Rei to the small mirror trying to gather her courage to defeat her nervous nerves. "Why the hell are you playing around with such weak little shits Rei?" said a voice within the bathroom "W-where? who's there?" said Rei feeling scared "Come on now, look in the mirror Rei" said the voice. The moment Rei looked into the mirror she could see an evil looking version of herself in her light formus form "W-what, your me, but how?" said Rei confused "Like OMG your so stupid b!tch. I'm the real you, or did you forget me?" said the evil Rei "No...no, NO. YOUR NOT ME! AHHH!!!" screamed Rei as she grabbed the mirror tossing it aside breaking it against the bathroom wall. Rei quickly exited the bathroom closing the door before sliding down until her knees were on the floor.

At that moment Yagyu exited her bedroom seeing Rei on the floor "Rei, are you okay? you look a little bit scared" said Yagyu. Rei quickly then got back up facing Yagyu with a smile "Ah! n-no, I'm fine...Just a bit nervous I guess hahaha..." laughed Rei with some sweat running down her cheeks. Yagyu stared at Rei for a moment with a serious look before walking near her "Come on, let us go find Yev. I'm feeling much better now & I don't want to keep him waiting for my report any longer than I have already, we'll also see if Yev will let you join us while we're at it" said Yagyu "O-okay then." said Rei as the two walked back to the feasting room.

Yagyu & Rei soon entered the big room were everyone was enjoying themselves & it seems like the feast was almost at it's end from the looks of what little food & drinks was left. Yagyu & Rei approached Yev from his right side & Yagyu could see that he was in the middle of talking to someone she had not seen yet, Yagyu was starting to feeling very on edge with the 2 new comers (Jynn & Riley). Yagyu politely tapped Yev's shoulder hopping that he would understand that she's ready to meet in private.

- White Heart (Neutral- currently in Langerdon

White Heart's eyes opened up quite quickly scanning her surroundings before she took a step out of her sleeping pod. "Hey! android Z is it? you gotta come with us now, okay?" said Justan (Empire NPC trooper)"...Why?" said White Heart "Cause I said so, okay" said Justan "...Why?" said White Heart "Cause theres a man who wants to see you, okay?" said Justan "...Why?" said white Heart "Forget this android! it just keeps on asking why over & over. Lets just destroy it & be done with our mission" said Stan (Empire NPC trooper). But just then "Threat detected, self defense active" said White Heart. In moment's White Heart was outside the building 'Hospital Help House'just staring around the place scanning the area until Stan crawled out from the building behind her "Darn you android! You killed everyone but I will see you die!" yelled Stan as he pulled a gun on White Heart. White Heart turned to look at Stan right before he shot his gun at her multiple times only to see the bullets just bounce off her body having no effect of damaging her. White Heart just started to hover in the air until she shot off like a rocket into the sky heading to wherever.

While White Heart was flying at a fast speed she was looking to her right scanning a nearby town until she struck head first into the front of a flying pirate ship. The impact of White Heart slightly made the ship sway before she crawled onto the ships fore deck. White Heart just sat there with some little bits of wood stuck in her hair & just stared at all the pirates on the ship "...Hi" said White Heart.

- Rufus Contralto - Neutral - En route to Kaipora -

"Ah, my pretties, how you fly so well is beyond me," Rufus mumbled, continuing to reel in reverie as he was stuck between reality and dream.  He watched flying elephants soar past with flapping ears and using overlarge tusks like overlarge joysticks for their fat feet, kicking things into first, second, or if they were really daring third gear.  "Oh, stop, Mouse," he said to the closest one, flying next to the ship, entirely pink, with a face slathered in makeup and eyes wildly fluttering long lashes.  "You know I cannot go to the elephant ball.  I don't know the dance or the number, and your boyfriend would be too jealous."

The sudden rock of the ship and subsequent explosion toppled Rufus off his feet, smashing himself against the wall of the ship and, next, the floorboards.  He looked around to spot a buckled portion of the deck and a strange girl in the middle of it, uninjured save for probably her pride for bumping into a ship mid-flight.

He shook his head in an attempt to clear his head, knowing something wasn't right, and then it finally clicked.  Girls don't fly, let alone smash into ships without some ulterior reason.  Recomposing himself, brushing off imaginary dust, and clearing his throat, he approached the newcomer with suspicion.

"Good eventide, good lady.  Might I inquire why you daringly smashed into my ship?  Also, you seem to have a bit of my ship in your hair.  Kindly return it to the deck.  That wood cost me a pretty penny."

"No it didn't," said Reggie from the crow's nest.  "It cost you three thousand where it normally would cost thirty thousand.  I must say, though, it was a bargain to survive an impact like that.  Teak isn't normally that good, but one has to love elven craftsmanship."

"Ahem, yes, enough of that," continued Rufus, scratching his cheek.  "Out with it, flightable lady, and I kindly would request your name as well."

The rest of the crew onlooked with curiosity except for Ol' Yella who continued his manic preparation for the rocktail soup, uninterrupted by the jolt generated by White Heart's arrival.

- Kaspar Ulrich - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin -

Kaspar nodded with that continuous, never-changing smile plastered on his face, eyes lighting up with the pleasure of conversation, something he rarely encountered before coming with the Seraphim Order.  Much to his own surprise, he slightly missed the company of living people.

"My magic of specialty is of a more . . . discreet nature, but some may consider me a diviner.  Using the power of the earth, I can interpret and discover secrets, conjuring whispering wraiths and summoned spirits of the dead for this purpose.  There are other purposes, too, so many purposes, but my magic is more surveillance and prediction than science.  Later I can demonstrate my gift's usefulness to you, or anyone else for that matter."

He glanced around the table, attempting to find out who was interested in what he had to say and who wasn't.  Those who were had to be put in memory as either potentially beneficial or potentially dangerous.  The others he would put in a different bracket, one of little consequence or significance to him even if they were of great significance to the Seraphim Order's cause.

- Paul (NPC) - Seraphim Order - Hylvania -

Paul kept a solid gaze upon the enemy general as he got launched up into the air, actually a little surprised that his attack had worked and that, afterwards, Zane congratulated him on something he actually did not think about.

I'm not complaining, but I kind of wish I thought of it before he gave me that kind of information.  Slowing his warping speed, eh?  Not bad info for my next attack, if that's the case.

Readying his rapier, he waited for another attack from Zane, but instead the man behind the mask continued his speech, telling him that he won the battle but not the war.  This confused Paul, but he had to agree and hated it.  Hylvania was lost, and soon it would not matter to keep fighting.  Nevertheless, he had to hold his ground, even as Zane slipped away to leave him to the lesser troops.

With a great gush of water flowing around him and over him, forming a liquid barrier around him three feet (one metre) thick on all sides, he trudged toward a portion of the imperial troops like a giant made of water.  They all shot, some of the bullets or other projectiles losing themselves to the water with their casings stripped while others penetrated Paul and unleashed rivulets of blood, but Paul managed to take them all out within half a minute, killing or heavily wounding them.

Victorious but grievously wounded, he barely maintained the control of the water surrounding him, heading toward Crota, Stark, and the newcomer Jeremy.

These will be my final moments, he thought despairingly, taking in the surrounding area through red-tinged water.  Ah, if only I could see my brother one last time, but I'll take the next best thing.  With my death hopefully hundreds or thousands would survive to live another day, including that werewolf.

Taking more than half of the water from his giant form, he attacked the new Imperial general with a water whip in hopes of tripping the man.  It was Paul's last act towards the Imperial generals before he died, one last moment of heroism before he would succumb to death's chilly embrace.

((Yes, Paul is knocking on death's door, so if anyone wants to kill him feel free.  He'll die of bloodletting very soon anyway, otherwise.))

- Jasmine (NPC) - Seraphim Order - Shivering Moors -

Jasmine continued his slow, methodical walk up the stairs when he felt the pangs of regret, sorrow, and bravery, a strange concoction of feelings for anyone to have, even him.  He paused, confused for a long period by these strange sensations, before continuing on inside the library.  Something terrible was happening to Paul, he sensed this, but he could not stop and let an innocent woman like Fiora wander off unattended in search of the second assailant of the elven city.

- Crota - Son of Oryx - Hylvania

Crota had no trouble blocking Stark's lunge with a small barrier of Hive darkness, blocking it with his arms, possibly throwing Stark back, but as Crota attacked Stark with a followup dash and sword slash. Someone else had appeared. someone who had taken quite a few Taken out in one fell swoop. it as Jeremy...someone Crota did not know so well.

The only thing he knew was that the boy was strong, not only pushing Crota's sword away but also attempting to destroy it, and it did indeed. the sword violently exploding as Jeremy slashed it, possibly just knocking him back. As Crota chuckled, his laugh echoing the area around him like a ghost's. His presence getting stronger, at the sight of a possibly great fight.

Crota simply held his hand forward, as the shattered pieces of the light swallower sword began to float to his hand, quickly forming most of the sword again, a part of the blade was missing, but as Crota began to infuse it with power it began rebuilding it. making it whole again. The sword had been destroyed and rebuilt countless times, this was no different, regardless if one had power over light or darkness to destroy it.

Crota remained towering over Jeremy, a few meters away, awaiting the boy's attack. As crota simply held his free hand into the air in a closed first. as three more tombships appeared through hyperspace.

- Skies of Hylvania, also Gatekeepers -

.

The two gatekeepers took notice of the gigantic ship that literally just rammed into some Tombships, it didn't take long for them to close in on each other staying side by side, as they began to channel their magical power. Didn't help the fact that the last Taken ship had just fallen from damages taken earlier, releasing magical taken energy into the air, as they absorbed it, their power just grew. Soon enough both of them began firing a massive laser from their eyes. it was constant, and powerful at the huge ship on the sky. it wouldn't do much to pierce its shields, but it would put a constant strain on them, keeping them from recovering. Possibly allowing the new ships that arrived to pierce it.

Taken began to flock around them, combining their power to create a protective shield around the gatekeepers. SOme taken remained out of it, to assist in covering them. Most specially Taken knights, who carried heavy cannons of taken energy with them.

The three tombships, were armed to the teeth, they didn't carry hive, well. didn't carry many hive, as some troops also jumped off into the warring zone bellow, specially hive knights with greatswords and hive magic too. No wizards came, as the wizards would come if things got...complicated.

The three tombships maintained their distance from the huge Messiah's ship. Firing at it with their darkness cannons, without stopping, each cannon bearing enough power to level a small city block in a burst of the cannons.

the combined efforts of the gatekeepers to keep the shields of the dreadnaught in constant strain, and the tombship's heavy fire. Would be quite the threat.

Indy - Empire

Upon seeing the woman who suddenly burst through the doors of the base, a dark glare spread across Indy's face. "You... What the heck are you doing here?!" He shouted more loudly than he usually would. It had been a long time since he'd last seen Victoria, but not nearly long enough for his own personal liking. It was about a year ago that she had humiliated him while he was placed under some sort of odd seduction spell, and he still couldn't believe how easily he'd fallen for such a pathetic trick. In his anger, he nearly dropped the shield he was currently using, almost forgetting about the debris being repeatedly ejected through the air towards him and his allies. This woman... He never thought that she'd try to stand against him in the future. Had he known that she was going to try and stop him here, he would have killed her back when he had the chance a year ago. Of course, he still didn't doubt his ability to defeat her. This was just a bad place for any sort of fight to break out.

He wasn't sure if it would be a good idea to fight like this at all. He had to keep focused on keeping his shield up, or he'd be assaulted by the splintered wood and scrap metal still hurtling towards him. He didn't even know how long his shield would last. The steel was beginning to dent where it had been pelted the most. However, he could possibly put up a brave front. Maybe the girl would hesitate to kill him, given that she was still babbling about her feelings. One pause was all the soldier needed to eliminate this nuisance... He gripped his sword in one hand, and still keeping most of his attention towards his makeshift shield, but his gaze was mostly focused on Victoria to avoid giving away this weakness. "You really want to battle in the middle of this mess? You must be either really brave or really stupid to think that this endless explosion site would make for a good battlefield." He commented. Maybe if he riled her up, she'd be a little less cautious and more focused on just killing her target. He'd have to take whatever strategy he could use... "Everyone, get to shelter! Leave this one to me, you go on and complete the objective." He ordered, causing the few remaining soldiers to run straight for the doors of the base.

(I'll edit in the other two later, but Sabre wanted me to get this done before he makes his post.)

-Jeremy-

The Raeon, to be renamed, would hold. The shield was the strongest thing he had ever seen, so he could concern himself with Crota until Stark got his army loaded. Raising Gladius, he leapt forward as the sword began to reform and struck the still reforming part. He then twisted his body as he telekinetically drew Flare and Surge, linking them at the hilts to make a gun that looked like a Halo Plasma Rifle but fired from both the top and bottom. He swung it and unloaded the current magazines right into Crota Ugly-Son's face, and kept his momentum so he'd fly over Crota and away. He'd hack the sword and force Crota to waste time rebuilding it. And he'd keep it up until Stark got his flea-ridden ass into the dreadnought and strapped in, because dammit Jeremy did not have time to waste.

-Chrysalis-

She did a flipturn and dived under one of the Imperial ships. The Kusanagi now was coming in guns blazing, and as the shields of the first ship fell she banked and shot into the hangar. Unleashing magical blasts everywhere, she ruined everything she could during her "bombing" run, and shot out as the Kusanagi fired a missile barrage into the middle of the vessel, rending even more of it into scrap. She kept her flying up and moved away, trying to conserve what she had. The two Seals had taken a chunk out of her energy away, and she had to start relying on her weaker spells. She had a few more Seals in her, but no way was she going to use them all at this exact moment.

And so, she just used magic bombs as she could, flying and dodging. Much easier.

-Victoria-

She floated up, then rocketed at Indy, sword brandished.

"I'm here to end the Empire and it's tyranny! I am here to free everyone!" she maneuvered around the metal sheet and slashed at Indy. "I love you, but I'll drag your soul from Hell after I've saved this world!"

-Eclaire-

She pulled Stratus Conflict out of the ground, and dispelled it.

"Not the world. Only you." She summoned In Paradisum. "In Paradisum, Fifth Configuration: Storm of Spears." Immediately it split into thirteen separate weapons. "I was willing to let you die with honor. Now, I won't even let them bury ashes." She made a quick seal in midair using Light Magic.

"The speed of a normal railgun was clocked at two point five kilometers per second at an impact velocity of Mach Five." The seal expanded.

"Sixth Seal of the Goddess: Ruination of the False Sovereign. Seventh Seal of the Goddess, Ver Kai Three: Encasement Dawnguard."

Around both herself and Dark Heart extended a massive shield that reached even underground, forming a massive bubble. The Sixth Seal fired lightning that then propelled the spears in a wide area around Dark Heart. The impact would rupture the entire area inside the bubble in a rock - filled shrapnel explosion, and Eclaire was risking herself. And, as she fired them, she brought up her shield.

"Aegis of the Gods!" She shouted, bringing forth the life-draining Godly Shield. It erupted and threw up a forcefield. Eclaire was putting it all on the line, for one reason.

Vortludo & Cobica -- Seraphim Order -- Banquet Hall

Vortludo glanced up when Cobica walked in, and grinned at the dramatic arrival of his good friend. It had been a few months since he had seen Cobica, which was quite regrettable. It was an odd relationship they had, one that mainly consisted of Cobica constantly teasing him, but Vortludo cared not for social norms. He enjoyed the man's company, and his skills were invaluable. The Noble set back to eating before Ava grabbed his attention. He looked to her, and nodded gently. "Of course my dear. We shall take our leave if you so desire." He spoke. Suddenly Vortludo was pushed out of his seat and onto the floor. He glanced up to the chair thief, who was already setting into his food. Cobica glanced down to the Noble.

"What? You were leaving weren't you?" He said, though he was still eating, so it didn't quite come out right. Vortludo glared at Cobica for a moment longer, but then burst into a smile.

"You shouldn't eavesdrop my friend. It'll get you into trouble." Vortludo said, standing and dusting himself off. Cobica glanced at his friend.

"Not any more than my mouth. I appreciate your concern though pretty boy." Cobica commented with a nod. He gestured to Ava. "Now get going, I want her plate too." Vortludo turned to his girlfriend, and offered a hand up. The Noble glanced to Jynn and Riley, and smiled cordially.

"It was fantastic to have the pleasure of new friends and allies in arms against the regime! We appreciate all the help we can get. Yev, if you will excuse me and Ava, we must be going. It was a lengthy trip."

Cyler -- Biromoore -- City Streets (idk who's taking Zanza but might as well move this scene along anyway)

Cyler looked to Zanza, and his eyes lit up. He had lost the others but that was fine. One on ones were always his style anyway. "Looks like your down, what, three allies? Guess they didn't have much faith in this fight." Cyler said, the green aura around him expanding more. He switched off his Sting of Winter, instead focusing heavily upon his telekinesis. Some cars and debris began floating in the air behind the Serial Killer. "Oh yeah, I feel like I need to mention something in order to keep you from vanishing too. Murder the whole town? Ugh, sounds like a whole lot of work for an itty bitty benefit. Hmm," He tapped his finger on his chin thoughtfully, before his eyes lit up with memory. "I know! I'll kill that other Half-Breed. He's in the rebellion right now, Cobica I think. You guys resemble each other, and considering how rare you monstrosities are, I'd bet a lot that you're related. So there. If you leave, he's dead. LET'S GET STARTED!" He roared, and the debris he had been floating hurtled towards the Nephalem. At the same time, he sent a pulse of energy through the ground, shaking it further and raising a massive pillar underneath Zanza.

Stark -- Siege of Hylvania -- Outside the City

Stark was blown back by Crota's defense, and before he could recover took the sword swing across his chest. It stung. And when things hurt a werewolf, things don't stick around much longer. Crota was distracted by another opponent that had apparently arrived, and Stark got back to his feet. One enemy with a sword in hand lashed out at the Werewolf. It did not end well for him, Stark dodged the blow, then grabbed the creature by the torso, lifted it into the air, and tore it in half. Stark caught the sword as it fell from it's lifeless hand, and howled loudly, turning face back towards the main enemy. He dashed back towards Crota, leaped into the air, and swung downwards powerfully with the Ascendant Sword.

Meanwhile, the North evacuated the remainder of the city, gradually loading back into the ship, doing their best to take out what troops they could whilst retreating.

Ryonne & Kinzoku -- Siege of Kaipora -- Inside the City

(I honestly can't tell what's going on since people are getting into the city despite the whole temporal thing so just gonna go with it wore off)

Victoria's sword suddenly reversed course, flying away from Indy, and theoretically flinging Victoria with it. Kinzoku smiled and waved at the woman. "You really oughta check around next time before being so careless." She spoke in her infuriatingly cheerful tone.

"I could say the same for you." A blade flashed across Kinzoku's stomach as Ryonne came into existence next to her. She looked at him with a frown, shaking her head regretfully. A piece of dented metal floated in the ground next to where Ryonne's blow should have landed.

"But you really can't since I did know you were there and yeah." Kinzoku said, looking to Ryonne satisfactorily. Behind her, the full contingent of elite mages skated into the city, vanishing into houses. Flames and shards of ice flew abundant as they slaughtered the residents. Kinzoku only smiled as the carnage ensued. Ryonne could not let this happen. Never. He dashed forwards again, heading towards the houses. But he ran into a wall. The Metal Mage's satchel emptied out mostly as she created a huge box of metal around the four of them. Ryonne, Kinzoku, Indy, and Victoria. A tag team battle for the ages.

-Ava – Seraphim Order – City of Ruin-

Ava’s expression of glee immediately turned into scorn upon Cobica’s presented behavior.  She grasped Vortludo’s arm with her gloved hands, shooting Cobica a glare that could’ve frozen water mid-July.  “Come on, Cobica, really?” was her retort, smoothing down her dress as she rose from her hunched position.  Finally the black-haired maiden shook her head, ridding Cobica of her thoughts as she resumed her musing of their walk.  She’d really been looking forward to some time alone with Vort, and here it was!  Of course it wasn’t much time, but one could never predict how much time would be left to live, especially with war so eminent.

Her hand slipped down his arm and met his hand, to which she intertwined her fingers with his.  A smile stretched her rosy lips fine as her gaze met his.  “Wonderful!  May I lead?  I know just the spot.”

Without truly awaiting a response, Ava began to lead him in the direction of the gardens.  They had spent little time out there presently, but it was a place that Ava loved to spend time in.  The rich scent of rose petals filled the air, and she recalled so many wonderful warm nights where her and Vortludo sat upon the veranda swing, gazing up at the starry sky and whispering their dreams of the future.  Sometimes she wondered if she was too innocent and naïve in those days to even dream of such a future, what with all of her dreams being replaced by nightmares of war and the desire of victorious battles.  She turned to Vort, considering him carefully for a moment before blurting a rather curious question.  “Vortludo . . . have I changed very much to you?  Over the past year, I mean.”

-Yevgeni – Seraphim Order – City of Ruin-

The blond barely nodded as Vortludo excused himself, waving a hand dismissively. “Very well, have a good time.  I will see you tomorrow morning, I’m sure, if not sooner.”

His attention then turned to Kaspar, who spoke of his skills and service.  Discreet nature?  How interesting this news was to him.  Of course he wanted to cut to the chase and see what he, personally, could do to aid in the revival of his fallen sister, but he dare not ask this at a table with dozens of people, old and new comrades alike.  Instead he smiled at the dark mage.  “Excellent!  I thank you very much for joining us.  I would love to discuss your skills in further detail at some other time, particularly out of personal interest rather than orderly affairs, but I will have to spare that for some other time.  I have much to prepare before our departure tomorrow, you see.”

The tap on his shoulder caused Yev’s muscles to tense.  The blond turned around, and there stood Yagyu, looking as timid as ever.  His expression softened slightly upon meeting her gaze.  “Ah, good!  You’re back.  Yes, let us go discuss what you have unveiled.  If everyone would excuse me.”

At this, the Seraphim leader rose, his tall slender form casting a narrow shadow over his seat at the table.  On his way to the door he passed Cobica, clapping a hand on his shoulder and murmuring a swift, “Very good,” as he passed, finally arriving to the side of Riley and Jynn.  He stopped before them, hands clasped behind his back, his emerald gaze burrowing deep into Riley’s eyes before turning to her husband.  Her demeanor was one of a very nervous person, but why was this so?  A slight smile waned upon his lips.  “Worry not, my dear lady, for you and your husband are in good hands.  We of the Seraphim Order ensure peace and equality among all of our nations.  You have nothing to fear from me, or any of the kind men and women present.”  Jynn’s words, however, caught him by surprise and stirred concern in his heart.  It seemed rather peculiar that anyone would strictly oppose an empire, especially when it did not concern him or his nation.  While Yev did indeed oppose the empire as it were and the people who ran it from the inside, he had no qualms with imperial authority, per se.  Finally he nodded grimly.  “I understand your concern.  However, under the proper leadership I feel an empire would not necessarily mean the downfall of a nation.  To put your mind at ease, I would like to assure you that we are pursuing a republic, just as our former leader, Eclaire Tonnerre, sought to do herself.  Your aid is much appreciated, and I hope to see you tomorrow to further discuss our next course of action.”

With that, Yev took a step backward, bowing his head in the direction of the king and queen before turning on heel and departing, Yagyu likely in tow.  He led the two young women up a spiraling staircase into a well-lit office.  Bookshelves lined the walls, a cherry wood desk at its center with two seats before it.  Yevgeni claimed his armchair behind the desk, folding his hands upon it as he watched the two ladies intently. “Now then, what do you two have to share with me?”

-Jadis – Messiah – Godolvia Mines-

The dwarves growled in frustration upon Maxis’ words, holding up an axe and getting ready to lug it at him.  This was becoming absolutely abhorrent to watch from where Jadis stood.  He used a gust of wind to knock the axe out of the dwarf’s angry hand.  “Now, listen!” he bellowed, shouting as loud as his lungs would permit.  “We mean you no harm!  Stop trying to attack, and please listen to our plight.”

“Aye, aye, we heard ye the first time, laddie, and we don’t like what you have to tell us,” grunted one of the dwarves.  “You claim that a dead woman is alive and that we should obey her.  Tell me this: what has Eclaire done for us over the past year, eh?  How has she helped us live as we work our backs and butts off digging in me mines?  She is no leader to us, so we ain’t going to listen to ye.”  The dwarf slowly turned his head, his gaze penetrating Maxis’ form.  My was the man soaked with blood.  He shook his pickaxe in his direction.  “Now this is a man I will respect.  So tell me, Strong One: if we listen to ye and the elf, what will it profit us?”

Jadis nearly collapsed into the wall.  Here he was, speaking in clear, almost sophisticated, language, pleading respectfully with the dwarves, and then Maxis comes in coated with blood and the dwarves now have their attention!  Why did nothing work out as he’d planned?  It just irritated him to no end.

Jynn & Riley Venas -Seraphim Order

Jynn gives a small salute to Yev before the leader heads to his office. He turns towards Riley. "I think I should've worded that differently." Riley shrugs. He definitely could tell that Yev was a little thrown off by his statement. "Oh well, he accepted my help, and that's all that matters right now." Jynn pauses and then gives Riley a stern look. He is a little irritated by her nervousness. He stands up from his seat. "Riley, you need to stop shying away from a crowd of people. I know that it's intimidating, but I trust that these guys are not going to do any harm to us. Plus, even if they would, I'm pretty sure you can defend yourself." Riley looks down in embarrassment. She has never seen Jynn so frustrated with her. She stands up from her seat as well. "I'm sorry Jynn, I am just not used to meeting so many new faces like you are." She gives her husband a passionate hug. Jynn then wraps his arms around her as well. "I am also worried about this war." she continues. Jynn sighs. He then lets go of her. "I understand. But whatever is going on, we will be okay." Then they both walk out of the hall and head towards Jynn's jet to rest up for the next day.

- Rei (Neutral) & Yagyu (Seraphim Order) - currently in City of Ruin

Rei was a bit nervous as to what will be said within the meeting as she & Yagyu followed the rebel leader Yev. Yagyu was following closely behind Yev being concerned for his safety with all these new faces, while following Yev Yagyu turned her head to see eye the others once more before departing the big feasting room. Yagyu saw both Vort & Ava leave together which slightly made Yagyu a bit jealous & then Yagyu's eye turned to see Kaspar with that same fake smile on his face. Yagyu just couldn't shake off the strange feeling her demon eye gives off when near or around him to which Yagyu narrowed her eye at him in annoyance "whatever your intentions are...I will find out, even if I have to spy on you within the night or daylight Kaspar" thought Yagyu as she turned her head to following Yev out the door with Rei following behind her. As for for Jynn & Riley, Yagyu saw them as only more untrustworthy faces that might betray Yev & to make sure to watch them closely too.

As Yev led Yagyu & Rei up some stairs Rei was starting to sweat a little bit with crazy nervous thoughts until they reach a room with many bookshelves all around with a desk in the center for them to talk. Yagyu took the other seat with Rei standing just behind her still nervous, Yagyu took a deep breath before starting. "Yev, the mission you sent me on with some fellow rebel members & rebel leader Sid (NPC) to recruit others to our cause in Godolvia didn't go well Yev...in fact, I'm the only one thats still alive. It started out a little rough but we were starting to convince some to join us in time, but that's just when the mission went to hell. You see my group tried to recruit a group of ex-imperials to join us but instead they chose to attack us causing a battle that slightly damaged the village, but this wasn't the worst of it as just after we won that fight we were approached by a strange dark looking girl. This girl took out our leader Sid with easy & so I fought her to by time for my group to escape the area with our injured leader Sid, but while I fought the girl I could later on hear screams & cries for mercy from the direction my group ran off in. I can only assume that there was another assailant within the area causing more trouble for the town. The girl I fought was extremely tough to fight & in the end I was about to die, but I just barely managed to escape the battle with my life. But I had no strength left & fell unconscious on the outskirts of nowhere, & that's when I met Rei Yev." said Yagyu calmly.

"I'm sorry to say that it was also my group that has caused alot of people around the world to seeing us as killers or far worse, & I will take any punishment you see as fit for this..." said Yagyu feeling overwhelmed with regret. Rei meanwhile stood quietly in silence as she didn't want to interrupted Yagyu.

- White Heart (Neutral- currently aboard Rufus's pirate ship

White Heart just sat there staring as she was quickly approached by the captain of the ship (Rufus). After listening to Rufus speak White Heart's eyes looked upwards before she quickly shook her head like a wild dog shaking off water, but she was shaking off the bits of wood in her hair all over the deck's floor. White Heart then stood up straight eyeing Rufus for a moment scanning him all over until her eyes flashed white for only a brief moment. "Human confirmed. living, IQ 81, body condition lacks Vitamin C. Name requested & cause of actions, Now switching to common speaking." said White Heart before she scratched her cheek copying Rufus's actions "...Hi...my name is White Heart. I crushed into your ship as a cause for my bodies sensing functions not fully online yet. I must ask for your name human? & what is your purpose? Why are you here? Why does your mind often think of the female humans?" asked White Heart almost like she was interrogating Rufus for his life's story.
