Since one gets his humanity back by killing his heartless and nobody then............

Posted

Why did members of the Organization bothered helping Xemnas in the first place when really the solution all along, according to Re:Coded and Dream Drop Distance, was for them to have Sora exterminate a ton of heartless(which surely at some point he accidentally killed the heartlesses of the Organization members)and then destroy themselves to they'd be revived back as humans, which is what ended up happening anyway

Someone will say they didn't know but...........Vexen is a freakin scientist,if he can somehow copy someone's memory into a data and put it inside a replicaclone I don't think it'd be impossible for him to figure out that when a heartless and a nobody dies, their human form comes back(unless you're Sora or Xehanort in which case a lot of Deus Ex machina is at your service)

what I'm saying is that, the whole heartless-nobody=human thing didn't exist in the series until Re:Coded came around solely for the sake reviving fan-favorite members of the Organization, and have another mean for Master Xehanort to magically revive his old body(like the gary-stu that he is)

Well, they simply didn't know, like you said. Just because Vexen is a scientist doesn't mean he knows everything or can figure out everything.

Apprentice Xehanort (-> Ansem SOD and Xemnas) was the head of the science team and it's pretty clear that Xemnas kept secrets from everyone. While Vexen was a scientist, it was Apprentice Xehanort who's the expert on darkness. Xemnas (and primarily Xigbar) with his fragmented memory proceeded to create a group of possible candidates while testing their worthiness and it was necessary to lie to them about their predicament in order to create a sense of loyalty and debt.

I'm not going to say that it was a good plot point (that's subjective) but there is evidence to suggest that there were plans to make this a plot point since khii with Xigbar's dying quote and Nomura saying in interviews that he'd like to develop certain characters more despite their death.

But ehh... whatever

But this is kind of a half-assed excuse for it to be honest cuz if Mickey managed to know this, what's stopping a scientist who's been experimenting on hearts FOR YEARS way before he was a nobody when he was working with Ansem the Wise

They did not know, but Xemnas did. Don't you remember? He lied to them about having a burgeoning replacement by saying once your a nobody, you have nothing and feel nothing. Roxas felt some emotion and so did Axel (now Lea, and I have it memorized). All of the members were led in ignorance and that is what Ansem the Wise said. Yes, you can't comprehend the heart's essence so you know nothing. Also, you can't build up an empire by leading ignorant members of it.

I do know that for years since 2012 but it doesn't make it any better

Especially in case where they obviously.....OBVIOUSLY displayed emotions as in the case of Axel heck any sort of emotions like fear,anger.....etc indicates that one has a heart....and members of the organizations have displayed those emotions on many cases. If they were indeed simulating emotions then how said display of simulations is so accurate  when Vexen displayed fear before Axel killed him in Castle Oblivion?

The whole "Lol I lied" explanation just doesn't set well with me when it's RIGHT THERE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM

As much as I'm not willing to defend the magic of popping hearts back into nobies, I kind of think that Vexen might have been in the know all along. We kind of got a hint in 358 Days that Vexen was more important to Xemnas than some of the others, since Xemnas does confess that "Losing Vexen was not part of the plan."

True since he secretly asked Vexen to create Xion............still even without Vexen.........it's not hard to figure out that the dude is lying, otherwise Marluxia wouldn't have rebelled against Xemnas's authority

They are nobodies who basically have forgotten what having a heart is like because it was a while ago when they lost their hearts. They have spoken of it like it were just a common fact hence why all they did was assure they don't exist. With that, they would not know better because of their mentality. Also, if you defy Xemnas, then you will be turned into a dusk. Xemnas implemented that completing Kingdom Hearts was the only way. They bought that and that is how they ran the business. Also, Xehanort is no idiot. Do you think that if he wants his organization to remain in tact that he would tell them the secret? If they don't know, then they would follow him. If they did, then they would see what they were doing was just to prop up Xehanort. Besides, don't you notice he does many things in secret? For example, he "failed" to share with the organization that the only reason that he wants to make Castle Oblivion the second headquarters was to find the other "friend" Ventus. That tells you, he doesn't share his secret desires and what he knows. Therefore, everyone else bought the whole package that was offered without knowing what's inside.

They just didn't know. Plain and simple.

Yeah, Vexen is a scientist, sure, but so was Xemnas. He may have discovered this years before anyone else would have, and likely limited or controlled how much any other scientists within the Organization looked into it. Vexen likely never looked into it due to a lack of interest or by simply being intimidated by the idea that he could be punished by Xemnas for straying from the research he was meant to be doing. I'm sure it was a combination of those, like Eraqus said, just because you're a scientist doesn't mean you figure everything out. And again, I'm pretty sure Xemnas did a thorough job of manipulating everyone into buying his ruse, you don't become a leader for nothing you know.

They wanted to have control over their hearts, rather than the other way around. If we go by that, it may be that they thought if ONLY their Heartless were destroyed and they recaptured their hearts as Nobodies, they wouldn't be subject to it's whims. By becoming human again, they'd loose that control. At least, that seems to be what Xemnas wanted them to believe.

As for the whole "they should know they have hearts because they have feelings" it seems their convinced that these "feelings" are only illusions caused by their memories of being human.

The reasoning behind all this was the fact that Xemnas lied to the members of the Organization.  He knew all along that if a Heartless and Nobody were destroyed, their human self would be reborn!  I'm guessing that Xigbar was the only other member who knew about this, but he played along with Xemnas so that the others wouldn't know. Hence, they went through all they had to, just to see if Xemnas found them worthy of being Seekers Of Darkness.  And we all know how that turned out!

The interesting thing here is...who might have the Heartless of the Organization members been?  We never saw them, ya know?  Unless we killed them from the thousands upon thousands of hordes of Heartless that we slayed throughout Kingdom Hearts II? xD
