For those of you who don't speak "Greedinese" with a side of fake sincerity and additional bullshit, let me translate:

 

TheFineBros. are basically saying, "hey, our reputation is pretty much solely based on the fact that we make reaction videos, so much that it's kinda like we have a whole hypothetical monopoly on it, so let's make that an actual monopoly and make money off other people doing reaction videos!"

 

This may be by far the most asinine scam I have ever come across in my life. I would compare this to Nintendo's attempt at taking revenue from let's players, but even that crap is more reasonable because Nintendo was asking to get money from content they actually own. TheShiteBros. on the the other hand are trying to build a "community" of people to leech off of with content that they didn't even make. They basically trying to make "reacting" a trademark, something they own the rights to and are guaranteed money from just based on principle.

 

Well, f*ck that noise. F*ck everything about it. I admit that reaction videos are somewhat of a guilty pleasure of mine, but even if I hated reaction videos, I'd still support various reaction channels over this scam any day of the week. Regardless of how other reaction videos are structured, whether people find them good or bad, TheFineBros isn't entitled to "share" their revenue just because they "own" reacting.

 

If you're subscribed to TheFineBros or any of their channels, I recommend you un-subscribe right this second and leave a comment on the video above telling them just how bullshit this entire concept is.

I watch the odd react video from time to time (it really depends on the topic), but this React World stuff is stupid. They are pretty much trying to profit off of reaction videos as if they invented the entire concept which is just stupid.

 

I'm glad they are getting a lot of flack for this, because they deserve it.

This is... Oh boy. I don't watch their stuff often (I've watched it when it relates to old video games just to see if any kids even know what those are, but in general I don't exactly find it to be all that entertaining of a channel), and I'll definitely be stopping after this. This is just absolutely freaking pathetic. They don't own the idea of reaction videos. In fact, while I don't know the history of reaction channels, I highly doubt they were even the first of their kind. They must be incredibly desperate if they're trying to monopolize the whole idea of it.

 

Also, when they mentioned legalities in this... That doesn't mean they're going to try to actually trademark the idea of reaction channels and bring other reaction channels into legal issues, will they? Because that's even more pathetic.

I don't get how they are coming off as "world revolutionists" by posting React videos. Wtf.

I'm going to keep being subscribed to Fine Bros because I like their content but I won't support React World. just no.
