Valor. Without Guard, Reflect, or any convenient way to dodge attacks, it becomes completely obsolete by endgame.

  • Wisdom Form. I don't use magic that often, and its attack strength is just so low

  • Eternalsleep

Anti form. It looks dope but its weak against anything even slightly challenging

Actually, I love all the Drive Forms!  But I have to admit, the one I didn't use all that much was Wisdom Form, but after seeing how said Form made my spells much more powerful, I played around with that form a bit more, ya know?  But yeah, I remember using Valor, Master, Final and Limit forms more than Wisdom form, ya know? :3

What about Anti-form?

Limit Form because I still haven't gotten to use it yet.

What are you having trouble with? Limit Form is a boss killer.

Wisdom or Anti. Anti is so annoying and there's no way to guard against anything.

What about Anti-form?

No PS3 :

What about Anti-form?

Oh, I thought that one didn't count, since, well, ya know, that Form is triggered randomly more than not, ya know?

But okay, if we're including Anti-Form, then yes, I love it!  The only bummer about that Form, though, is that it's Defense isn't confidently high, so yeah, that's the only downside I see with that form! X3

Anything that isn't Limit.

Wisdom. The only time I was ever successful with it was during the Barbossa boss fight.

Well this is a tough one, but I'm gonna have to go with Valor Form. It feels unnecessary to use after gaining some other drive forms imo.

I actually gotta go Master on this. Valor and Wisdom exemplified their play styles while Final and Anti felt like the unleashing of Light and Darkness. Master was just...there. I didn't feel like I was using the ultimate of a fighting style like with the others.

I totally agree with this. While I was going to say Wisdom form at first, Master form is also my least favorite because it didn't feel that powerful. I'm guessing it was supposed to be this awesome combination of Valor and Wisdom form, but it wasn't good to use and felt underwhelming, especially when it costs 4 Drive Points. It just wasn't that powerful and it was just kinda there. Final Form later on overshadowed it.

Between Wisdom and Master form, Wisdom is my least favorite because the shots sometimes won't even land on the enemy if they move fast or if they're too far away   So it was kinda unreliable in a way

For y'all saying that Master Form isn't that powerful, you clearly aren't using it correctly.

Valor Form is easily the worst form by far. Wisdom has multiple ways to defend itself and dish out damage. Valor is pretty putrid once you get Limit Form.

wisdom and anti form. anti form is weak and i can't heal during battle.

Wisdom, it's the least powerful, it's not really useful at all, even in late game. It's only use is to get you Quick Run.

At least Valour form still retains some of its usefulness late game.

Really? That's the first I've heard of Valor being useful late game.I mean Wisdom could at least help with the Mushroom XIII. However, how is Valor helpful late game (besides the Cavern of Remembrance since ALL the Drive Forms are useful then)? Or are you just talking about its High Jump ability?

High Jump mainly, it's pretty good for just getting out of situations. I also just enjoy the speed of it, not my favourite form, probably my 2nd least favourite but it's still up there.

Uh.... what?

Jumping out of situations usually leaves you vulnerable with little to no viable options unless you revert->aerial dodge->glide.

In terms of function it's a tie between Valour and Anti. Anti may look awesome but you can't heal and you can't do much except attack repeatedly. Valour is useful early game but once you obtain Limit Form it becomes pointless to use outside of obtaining High Jump. At least that's how I find it.

Peace!

They are all cool, but when it comes to usefulness, Anti is the least of them all. It can't heal and from my experience, it's defence was terrible. Valor was great, but the fact that you can't use magic in that form bugged me.

Anti. Kinda sucks.

Then Wisdom.

And it doesn't stop there with Anti either:

  • You gain no experience from fights.
  • You take 50% more damage.
  • Donald & Goofy are gone.
  • ALWAYS uses up all your Drive
  • Can't change back until after the fight is over.
  • You can't block, heal, pick up HP balls, & the transformation occurs randomly.

At least it was with Valor it was useful up until you return to Twilight Town or Hollow Bastion (where you get Limit or Master). So basically Valor was the go-to form (at least for me) for literally half the game.

Antiform. Its cool but terribly inconvenient

Probably Wisdom or Valor. I never really used Wisdom back on the PS2 version and I did see how helpful it was against the Mushroom XIII in 2.5, but eh. Anti is also really inconvenient.

But didn't you use Valor a lot for like the first half of the game (before you returned to Hollow Bastion or Twilight Town where you got Master/Limit)?

I wouldn't be so quick to equate how long a form was useful to how useful it actually was. I mean, if we're strictly talking about how useful a form is anyways.

And it doesn't stop there with Anti either:

[*]You gain no experience from fights.

[*]You take 50% more damage.

[*]Donald & Goofy are gone.

[*]ALWAYS uses up all your Drive

Actually, there's apparently a set code for Anti-Form, so it's not random. I used Final Form a lot when I got it and from there barely got Anti. There's a table with the Anti-Form counter here.

Oh yeah I heard of that counter and seen it before. However, it still doesn't help me see this form in a better light (there's a weird anti-darkness pun in there). Because if you look at the counter the sort of "punishes" you for using Valor, Wisdom, Master, & Limit Form too much. Which isn't a bad thing & helps balance out the game. It even helps that they added Final Form in helping to "tone down" the counter.

Despite that the counter is still a bit overly bias towards using Drive Forms in Boss Battles (particularly against Organization members or  Data Rematches). You could counter this by using Final Form a lot more during boss battles. Although, Final Form really isn't the "go to form" when it comes to any/all boss battles since you often have to worry about whether Donald & Goofy are still alive or even in this boss battle to begin with. This makes Limit Form pretty much the master of Boss Battles since it doesn't have to rely on party members & dishes out a shit ton of damage. With its only major con of that being able to go Anti-Form (can you even kill a boss while in Anti-form?)

Again not knocking the counter code. I know that it is needed it terms of balance & not making Sora overpowered in KH2. However, even though I know it is good for me it doesn't mean that I have to like it. Kind of like choosing not to eat potato chips or cheeseburgers because it is healthier.

Master form its combos are just not that good compared to the other forms and its reallly floaty combat and i just didn't like the design
