Why was Isa a founding member and not Lea?

Recommended Posts

I though Zexion was the last founding member

I'm pretty sure that the founding members are the first six, being Xehanort and Ansem's apprentices, and members after that are ones that they recruited.

huh, all this time I thought he was the last founding member and was second in command. but I guess he was just second in command then, but it's still kind of weird that he is and not a founding member.

Came in here to say this xD

lol

Adding to the comments above, no Saix wasn't a founding member. The reason he was second in command is that, if I remember correctly, Saix purposefully worked his way up the Organization's ladder with Axel's help, partly by ensuring that the three members directly above him in seniority (Zexion, Lexaeus and Vexen) were eliminated in Castle Oblivion. He wanted to obtain as much power in the Organization as he could in order for him and Axel to achieve their own agenda, although I can't remember if that agenda was ever actually revealed. However Axel then had a change of heart (or maybe grew a heart) as we all know and eventually stopped helping Saix. What's uncertain is whether or not Saix still has his own agenda or whether he is now fully loyal to Xehanort. I hope I got all that right!

I did post a topic about that shortly after I joined. I'm sure Saix's second in command status has something to do with being a successful darkness.

Saix is second in command, but that doesn't mean he was a founding member. It's just the loyalty and trust between master and member.

Well I came to this notion when I was like 10, so my head was so full of crazy theories and stuff.

He was number 2 before that, but he wanted to make sure he kept the spot by eliminating them.
