June 12, 20169 yr Author I can't wait to see Saïx's 3 seconds of screentime in glorious hd The sexual tension™ in glorious hd I feel ya on that one... Sora's sleeves isn't awkardly squared in HD VS 3D. I can see the difference. That is a very good thing!
June 12, 20169 yr The teeth of the Kingdom Key isn't slanted down either. That always kinda bugged me. Edited June 12, 20169 yr by JustinisMii
June 12, 20169 yr Looks pretty good so far, though they seemed to have dimmed down some effects, such as the light glow in the Stopza scene and Young Xehanort doesn't have that dark aura around him anymore. Still it looks pretty clean and promising, though I hope they will still make it 3D compatible with the PS4. I mean, it's KH 3D, it only makes sense, it would be a shame if they didn't do it.

The 3D thing was a pun on the game's title, some of the official merchandise (like the soundtrack) drop the 3D thing entirely. And it was never the main pull of the game anyway.
June 12, 20169 yr The most noticeable differences, at least to me, is that they rounded out the polygons for Sora's sleeves and gloves (why didn't they do this for Sora's KH1's model in 1.5?), and changed the kingdom key's model to have the normal teeth that they have in 1 and 2 versus the slant. Looks like Riku's wristbands are more than just a texture, too. Here's to hoping Sora and Riku's low poly models have actual fingers, too. Can't tell in any of this new footage.
June 12, 20169 yr Wow...big difference between the two. Fascinating to see the original and HD versions compared.
June 12, 20169 yr The PS4 wins again especially cause of the light. I love more YX in 3D though in HD he is to white. Edited June 12, 20169 yr by KH4Real

I know what the 3D in terms of the title was for, but my point is that this was a previously 3D compatible game, it would be weird if it didn't have that option on a system that can also support 3D on it. It's like if you released a version of Fun Stix without the stick itself in there, it's just a bag of powder. Enjoyable, but not exactly what it's previously known for.
June 30, 20169 yr Yeah, I'm totally agree on that notion, the 3D view was not a main feature, but an important one, why would be dropped in the HD version???.
