Due to the inclusion of the world ends with you characters in KH3D, being the first non final fantasy, disney or original KH characters in the series, it got me thinking what other series i would like to see in the future if they chose to go this route. it's entirely possible for more series to join especially as we start to run out of Disney worlds.The way i see this going down is it could happen if Xehanort was to win the final the battle at the conclusion of KH3, splitting the worlds up again allowing for pixar films and other square franchises to be apart of the KH series from the games to follow. pretty sho' that is already a theory in itself. But i would love to see cameos of the likes of Ringabell and Edea from Bravely Default having there own little side story in Hollow Bastion. However, I understand people wanting to keep the series away from all that stuff, it's just a thought. What possible Square Enix characters would you like to see in future kingdom hearts games? 

I highly doubt any games besides Final Fantasy and possibly TWEWY will ever get included in KH. That's how it should stay.

I disagree. Limiting it Final Fantasy is a lack of tribute form the Square Enix side of things. I'm down for Bravely Default or Chrono Trigger characters appearing.

I don't see having Final Fantasy characters only has "limiting it". Final Fantasy has 15 titles excluding all the spin-offs and each has a cast of like 10 characters...It's enough for KH, imo.

clearly SE should just make a cross over game with their own properties instead of shoving them all into KH for brief and unsatisfying cameo appearances. 

 

personally i'd rather we just stick to FF cameos but have them be handled well. KH2 did a decent job of giving a fair amount of screen time to the FF side of things with that little subplot in Hollow Bastion, and allowing you to fight alongside characters like Leon and Tifa. it was a step in the right direction, imo. 

 

if SE could improve on that then they'll be golden.

True, but that still doesn't change the fact that you're limiting yourself to one Square Enix franchise (if you exclude TWEWY). Sure, Kingdom Hearts is a Disney property, but you have to understand, there little representation from the Square Enix side of things.

I'd love chrono trigger in kingdom hearts

I doubt any SE characters outside from FF and possibly TWEWY characters will be used in KH3 anyway, but one can hope.

 

I would like to see some characters from either Dragon Quest or Nier being brought into the game.

 

Or Maybe Tomb Raider.

 

And this idea doesn't have to be limited to games. Some of the Square Enix Manga could be used as worlds.

I've said it many times before; I would love to see SE give their other franchises a cameo in KH!  I would especially love to see Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger characters.  But even though they had some TWEWY characters, I doubt SE will have other video game characters in KH.

If another Square Enix property were to be included in the Kingdom Hearts series in the future, I'd love it to be Chrono Trigger! (It's also the only other Non-Final Fantasy or KH Square game I've played, lol. )  I think that the characters and themes from that game would carry over greatly into the Kingdom Hearts Universe, such as the character of Magus!  For those who knows, Magus is a great character, and he's quite layered and has a lot of depth to him, and I won't spoil what exactly it is that he does in Chrono Trigger, but his character arc in the game definitely brings up some feels! I feel like a character like him could relate to Riku and Terra a lot!

 

And well, I'd love to see Sora and friends interact with Crono, Marle, Frog and the others!  That'd be great fun!

Good point, Lara Croft could be a guest character in that world.

I'm good with FF and TWEWY characters for now. Anything else would be a no for me, except maybe Chrono Trigger. I don't feel like seeing Lara Croft at all.
