It's okay.  I understand that situations arise that require attention, and real life definitely comes first.  I hope that you are well and that things are bettering over on your end. : )

 

If you don't mind, if you could shoot me a quick heads up that you'll be away next time that would be quite useful.  That way I can make arrangements and plan ahead for your absence (and so that way I don't keep players waiting).

 

I would welcome your return and would gladly help get you going again.  I forget where you left off precisely, but I hope that this aids in a brief recap determining where to place your characters.  If you need additional help please let me know and I can help pinpoint a good location to help you.

 

Rabiyu has just left the council of Lord Raiden and Alastor, having secured an alliance between King Asura and Queen Leviathan of the North with Raiden and Mystras.  She now is working as Raiden's spy and aiding him in any manner possible.  Meanwhile, the humans are finishing breakfast within a dining room in Raiden's villa where they are becoming more acquainted with one another and awaiting the verdict between Raiden and Alderon.  The humans had a falling out with Raiden after the doom hound/knight in red/Midnea's pet managed to kill guards and wreak havoc in Mystras, and now Raiden is sending them back home.  Further, Raiden's potential alliance with Queen Shiva has prompted him to return the humans home, in hopes of securing her favor and finding a way to rectify the union of both worlds.  Therefore and thusly, Raiden has sentenced the humans to return home, unless he can be convinced otherwise.  Alderon  and Midnea are on their way to speak with Raiden now, in hopes of securing said conviction of their stay.

 

Curvis, Arthur, and Soren are conversing in the dining hall at one table, while Raleigh, Ren, and Draksis are at another.  I don't think you were here when Ren appeared, but he is one of the three fey that ventured into the world below and one of Helios' best friends.  He has been freed from his prison in Isopolis by someone claiming to be employed under Raiden, though Raiden has claimed that he doesn't know the individual.  Ren is still loyal to Raiden, however, and is aiding them against the queen and, thus, his best friend.

 

Somewhere around these events might be a good place to insert Neena, though I'll let you be the judge of that.

 

Had you seen the post between Raiden and Shiva and their big discussion concerning the barrier and Jynn's father?  That may be important to read, so if you haven't seen it let me know and I'll link you to it (feeling too lazy to go digging right now. ).

 

Yevgeni gratefully took the dagger that Cerberos recovered for him, but has yet to use it.  He's returned to Kilkis Seres since, and has been considering the situation with Queen Shiva, being placed as her ambassador and being partially welcomed back into the royal court.  Speaking of court, Helios had been placed on trial, his pardon being granted so long as he permanently serves the queen and promises his fealty.  The Aura and Aurion are to be escorted back to Jynn's mountain home until the conflict has passed, while Eclaire has been given the task of takng Henry back to the world below by force (or killing him, if he should refuse).  A lot of tension is building between Eclaire and the queen, with both having oddly placed feelings and, in the queen's situation, loyalty to her maybe-still/late lover/husband, Raiden.  If you'd like, Gel could've been lumped with either Henry to return to the world below for being dangerous and gifted, or with the twins and placed in confinement in Jynn's mountain home.  Currently, Jynn is getting ready to escort the twins to his home before they outstay their welcome.

 

Eclaire has been reunited with her mother, Xion, and are currently in the queen's study with Bherna, Shiva, and Takao.

 

There had been a punisher fight with Elia, Jynn, Rufus, Typhon, Mikhail, Morana, Aqua, Bherna, and Jari, though I think you were around for some of that.  The punisher has been defeated, resulting in Jynn going blind in one eye.  Elia is determined that she may be able to heal him, and thus is desperate to get in to see the queen.  She cannot, however, and thus this group (excepting Jynn, Bherna, Aqua and Morana, because they're busy) is awaiting an audience with the queen.

I'm missing a lot, I know, but this should give you a rough idea.  Everyone feel free to pitch in, if you'd like and if I've missed you, and let me know if you need anything else.

Gel I'll put with Henry since that seems logical? Though he's not as strong as Henry, hes not fully human so if Henry's being quarantined it'd make sense for him to receive the same sentence.

 

Cerberos... Idk? I saw mention of some dungeons earlier in the sign-ups maybe they'll go treasure hunting some more b4 coming back into the fold more fully when war breaks out.

Starting off.

 

The origin of the armors. Part 1

 

 

 

Six thousand years from now. In a secluded lab in the city of Yhurn.

 

The lab room was as one would expect. Several experiment vials, tools, glass pods where live experiments stayed, Sustained by substances unknown to keep their bodies from natural causes.

 

The room was not very well lit. Crystals which illuminated only small parts of their surroundings, these crystals were about the size of one's hand. Their energy source is unknown. The Crystals were normaly used by the Yhurn forces mostly for illumination, they were even able to be used as energy sources, depending on the crystal's density. For the denser they were, the higher their power.

 

One Researches, rather old, with a white, well groomed and trimmed beard and a pair of glasses walked through the halls of the lab, coming to the center, where the main equipment was.

 

When he got there, another Researcher was already there, observing one subject one of the big testing tubes. The subject appeared dead, but maintained with whatever substances were being poured into the pod. 

 

"Looking at something?" The White haired researcher who just arrived asked his friend, who in contrast looked younger, less experienced, and with brown hair, no beard.

"Y-yes sir...I can't stop looking at our test notes and the pods.". He hesitated on his words, clearly the man was surprised by the older's arrival.

 

"Thinking about our research of people's souls and the Mad Plague?" The older Researcher asked.

"Yes...I still can't think how we're going to make a breakthrough..."  The Younger explained.

"It seems hard does it not?" The older Researcher laughed. "Why don't we review then?"

"Pherhaps it would be for the best"

 

A few minutes passed, as the men took chairs and tables, as well as papers and pens for their notes.

 

"So..." The old Researcher asked. "How long have the mad beasts have been a threat to us? and how did they originate?"

"The reason for their appearance is unknown. For there is no record of their past...at least not in our continent." The younger one explained.

"They have been around for over five hundred years, we have managed to trace their origin to the continent of...Loran."

The older researches smirked as the younger one explained. Following up with another question.  "And what exactly does this Mad Plague does?"

"It corrupts the land, twists it, kills it, Not only that, but beasts start coming from the land. As in, the animals in the land begin changing. Becoming twisted and monstrous. Having a drastic change in their instincts, they attack any nearby. And those killed by them also become infected with the plague...and reanimated the same way..." The younger one began to explain. As he continued.

 

"If it were just monsters that we could kill, it would be fine. But every time one kills one of these beasts, the plague spreads to them as well...Slowly turning them...into a beast as well...but a much stronger one, the more they kill, the stronger the infection...And the end result."

"Every time the beasts come, we lose countless lives, just to drive them back. Years pass...and they come back. And every time, more of our land is destroyed. Its only a matter of time before we are completely overtaken." The younger one began to sound melancholy and sadder as the speech went on.

 

"Indeed...that is why." THe older Researcher got up from his seat and began walking close to one of the tubes, each with a different test subject, ranging from men of varying ages and women as well.

 

"That is why they. Will help us." THe older man spoke, as the room fell silent.

???: I will exterminate Exire's nobility, followed by Heimdall's and the rest of Caligo. Then the rest of the bloody Overworld will follow. They will know that it was a mistake to not exterminate all of the Dark Elves Moriquendi.

Mostly because I wanna have Henry go to wherever Alderon is so he can cuss at Midnea. Totally don't want the punishers after Henry for awesome action and story purposes. Teehee.

 

I'd laugh so hard if Henry did that to Midnea haha just thinking of what Midnea's reaction & thoughts would be makes me laugh haha

Also I've actually been thinking of a way to get Henry to somehow battle the next guy punisher too, I have a thought on how they'd encounter each other for the battle but I guess it really depends on how well it's timed with Henry's own path & his target's path & Mystic's view on these 2 meeting & such stuff. Still I've been wanting to fight Henry again for a while now haha

The Elf could be standing right behind someone and they wouldn't notice unless she wanted them to do so. Besides, the method currently used by her to watch over Raiden's house is ancient and powerful.

A simple, undetectable, multipurpose rune that Valdra The Incandescent taught her. You cannot fight against magic coming from a being as ancient as the world, not with current fey magic.
