Elrandir, you drew the Cheshire cat yourself?

-Helios - Castle Courtyard about to get dragged away - Aura, Aurion, Gel, Henry, and Prince Jynn-

Helios frowned. "I understand...but I cannot allow your world to simply die, Henry. I promise to you everything that you guys have sacrificed will not be in vain." Helios said, determined as he looked up at Henry.

Henry: RIght, good luck to you Helios.

*inside Henry's mind*

Ariana : You mean it'l be completely meaningless.

Henry: I didn't say that!

Ariana: But you know it to be true.

Henry: Well...Sort of...I guess.

Ariana: Don't worry, I have a plan.

Henry: A plan?

Ariana: Become Asura.

Henry: Do I look like a demigod of wrath?

Ariana:...Yes?

Henry: Shit.

Dinn: Curiouser and curiouser. But did you know that curiosity killed the cat, Master Scrap? Satisfaction brought it back, of course!

Just like with other pictures I used a base to make it. That was many years ago xD

I'm really liking Viridem's personality haha xD but her appearance pic ain't showing :P neither's Neena's pic :P

Rabs made a habit of never underestimate someone a long time ago, but she will be careful around Midnea.

The Elf could be standing right behind someone and they wouldn't notice unless she wanted them to do so. Besides, the method currently used by her to watch over Raiden's house is ancient and powerful.

A simple, undetectable, multipurpose rune that Valdra The Incandescent taught her. You cannot fight against magic coming from a being as ancient as the world, not with current fey magic.

Are you sure Rabs ain't underestimating her? haha xD Thinking she knows Midnea's abilities when she hasn't even seen them is a sign of either overconfidence or underestimating what her opponent is capable of, hehe. Rabs will have a tricky time spying I'm sure, considering Midnea's already aware & alert of feys spying on her after being watched by 2 fey's. Let us see what happens! haha xD Also is Rabs ever gonna use her wish? if I were her I'd be wishing right away before it gets stolen haha xD

Im sure Midnea wouldn't expect that. But its something Henry would totally do.

Well depending on what happens next. Henry might leave Kilkis Seres on his own. Depends on the timing, and where. :P

haha xD your right on that one, Midnea wouldn't expect there to be someone stupid enough in the overworld to actually do that to her & not expect a fate worse than death in return haha xD I'm starting to wonder just how Henry & Eclaire's battle will happen now, Eclaire's bound to find him sooner or later right? I wonder if this fight will happen within the kingdom, that be CRAZY! haha xD

Yes.

Woot!

Woot!

Hey. After what she has done. Both Henry and Ariana will cuss her out.

Henry is not afraid of the consequences.

Henry will wrestle with Jimba in the afterlife if he has to.

The same could be said about Midnea, right? She doesn't know about Rabs or what she is capable of, she doesn't even know Rabs is there to begin with, not yet anyways.

Besides, the method used by Rabs is very ancient, something from the Before Times. Magic created and perfected by the first beings born into the world, I'm not sure Midnea can do much about it if she doesn't even possess the knowledge of said rune, how it works, or how to deal with it.

Valdra, as the last Great Drake, is the sole surviving being with knowledge about the magics from the Before Times. Rabs has a small amount of knowledge, but her is like a drop of water against the ocean.

And do you really think that the lamp is just hanging inside Rabs's cloak? Of course not! The lamp is in a safer place, one that only she has access with her magic.

We'll see what happen in the future!

Midnea is being watched by two feyfolk?  Who are these individuals again?  I don't recall.

Thanks for the header Unversed, I've fixed their appearance pics.

Also, I'm just waiting on Thundaga/Mystic then I'll post again.

I'll post as soon as I can. There's been a lot of things going on irl, but I'll post either tonight or tomorrow.

Hey everyone!  There's a couple of things that I wanted to touch base on, one being a new rule I'm going to implement for the sake of speed, and the second being a potential timeskip.

Originally I had it set in the rules for everyone to wait for everyone in your group to post before posting.  While I like this rule and for the most part it has worked well, there have been some situations where I've kept you guys waiting too long, or an entire group has been stalled unnecessarily when waiting for one person (when they could've still conversed among themselves in the meantime).  As such, I'm going to change it to waiting only one week for everyone in your group to respond before posting.  Should they not post within that length of time, you're welcome to continue on without them.  I think this should help with the waiting game that has been in the way at some points, and should also help plot points to progress a little faster.  It might make things harder for some players who are slower to respond (myself being among them), but I will do my best to keep up and at the very least catch up.

Second, I'm thinking about implementing a partial timeskip to get some things into motion.  Would anyone be opposed to this?  Are there any plot points that are going on currently that you would like to wrap up first?  I'm especially thinking that war should be officially declared between Mystras and Kilkis Seres soon, and that the events in the world below should move forward.  Also, I feel that Helios, Henry, and co. have been in the courtyard for a while and it may be best if we move that plot along.  If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions I'd be very open to hearing them.  I'm just thinking of various ways that we can get things moving and get into the heat of the last half of the RP. : )

Whoops, didn't realize you were waiting on me.  Was it for Ren?  If so, I think I was waiting on Raleigh to respond, but now that I think about it I don't think he was even speaking with Raleigh anymore, so I'm probably waiting for nothing.  I'll try to get a post in soon.

I could haste Henry's escape from Kilkis Seres if needed.

Im mostly waiting for Jynn's response before doing so. I got the whole thing planned out.

Might or might not need Jynn to stand aside if he doesn't want collateral to himself though. Since it won't be Henry in full control.

I'm only waiting on you and Scrap, as Ren needs to acknowledge that Soren has approached and requested to talk, plus Scrap to have Ivany take a look at Meksis, make sure he's all right after his long nap.

Other than that, I think these changes will help speed things up, just not too much. I think people like that things don't go by too fast. :P

I'm fine with that, it could help the plot to move forwards once again.

Rabs is just taking a well deserved breakfast (*cough*spying*cough*) and waiting for any order Raiden may give to her.

The Siblings are waiting for the Prince to take them to his home, but who knows, maybe they will try to follow Henry once he escapes, or they will stay and do whatever the Prince will try to do once that happens.

And last but not least is Sifrei, who is currently fighting against Pracia, but that really depends on Unverse's plans for those below. Sif's mission was to investigate the status of the world below and I can say that he has fulfilled that directive. He helping Visco and the others is a personal side job, so once the fight is over it will be report time with the Boss.

Scrap makes a good question.

How big will the timeskip be? I'm thinking a few hours, perhaps?

(And while I wait, I keep making more dwellers of the North (A.K.A NPCs for small cameos xD)

Rabs's self proclaimed servant, Ammy, the kitsune, although I think she is more like a pet rather than a servant. She proclaimed herself as Rabs's servant when she was saved from the attack of wraiths by the elf. She is currently 42 years old (Rabs often calls her a sapling, just like Valdra does to her), and she possesses only 1 tail. Her dream is to have 9 tails like her mother once did before "ascending to Heaven". Ammy's job is to gather information, just like most of the fox type feys.

 I love timeskips.

But how big will the timeskip be?

A few days?

A few weeks or a month, perhaps? I'm thinking he wants to skip to a point closer to the war/fight.

No worries; it isn't strictly Henry that is delaying the situation by any means.  I know that we were waiting for Eclaire to approach Henry as well, along with Jynn's response among other things.  It's really no one person that's holding things up, but rather I feel we have been in the same place for too long without much happening.

I'm only waiting on you and Scrap, as Ren needs to acknowledge that Soren has approached and requested to talk, plus Scrap to have Ivany take a look at Meksis, make sure he's all right after his long nap.

Yeah, sorry about the delay for Ren!  I had been waiting for Raleigh, but then realized that there really wasn't much need for me to do that.  I'm going to attempt getting a post in today, so hopefully that frees you up some. : )

And oh, no worries!  I don't intend for this to be a fast-paced RP, nor do I see it going that route.  Essentially things are going to be very similar to how they are, but just those rare instances where you're waiting on one person for an entire group to progress will change.  I think the one-week allotment will still keep things slow enough for everyone to continue posting without being skipped, but it should prevent hang-ups as well if a group would like to move forward and someone hasn't been online in a while (which is oftentimes me : P).

An excellent question, and one that I haven't wholly decided upon yet.  Originally I was thinking it would be about 12-24 hours; enough time so that things can start rolling into motion, but not so much time that we're skipping content and story.  Would you guys prefer to do a larger timeskip, though?  I'm certainly open to suggestions.

I should also add that the timeskip won't take place until Wednesday June 14, so that should give us a little bit of time to wrap up loose ends.

Half/whole day sounds good to me. I can see the following points moving forwards.

1 - Raiden and Alderon talk

2 - Gives Yev (with Aqua?) the chance to travel back to Raiden's

3 - Henry can escape

4 - Fight with Pracia could end.

I feel that those points could be resolved in those 12/24 hours.

It should go without saying but I am also deffo cool with a timeskip. I got nothing that needs urgency. Though I'll note, if Henry escapes because he feels there's something fishy or something he needs to do, Gel is coming along with him.

Same with the siblings. They would rather stay with Henry and Gel rather than to be at the mercy of Shiva or her guards.
