- Lord Raiden, currently within Raiden's villa on the upper slopes of Mystras -

Raiden indeed was sitting in his armchair, rapt in one of his libraries' worth of books before the sounds of his invited guests and the surge of Alastor's presence snapped his attention to them.  With a whump of his book he smiled and rose to greet them.

"Worry not, old friend.  I am sure they harbour no ill will.  Welcome, my friends, especially you, King Alderon Niles of Sondon, to my abode!" he shouted jubilantly over the distance, setting the book aside and lighting the room up appropriately with the wave of his hand.  Such was a useful gift, the control of passive and active electricity, and all of the circuitry in his villa was tethered to his unique energy.  "Please feel free to make yourselves comfortable.  You deserve it after making it this far through a harrowing but necessary rush."

He looked over the company of individuals with great interest, most keenly studying the king but his eyes trailing along each of his followers.  For a ship it was quite the small crew and number of passengers, being about twenty individuals total.  Some had the mien of power or control, even if they had no magic.  And then there was Midnea and her knightly accomplice.  His eyes narrowed once they passed over the two, but nothing else revealed his disliking Midnea's being there.  As for the knight in red, there was something off about him.  Very off.

"As a long-lasting resident of our world, I wish you all a great stay here in Mystras and invite you all to stay in my servants' quarters.  There are barely enough for all of you, but first I must throw you a feast tonight of Mystras' finest, and a soiree to match.  You are honoured guests, and it is a pleasure to meet you all."

He bowed for several seconds, a Mystras trait that the company of humans might have seen from several servants that passed by.  Unity through honour -- an old-fashioned but signature manner of thinking -- was what Raiden taught most as a ruler, and this integrity stuck with his city for many centuries.

- Rufus Contralto, with Baxter, Bherna, Elia, and Aqua in Jynn's mountain abode -

Rufus scratched his bushy head in reply to Baxter's question of from what kind of world he came.

"Such is, at its very best, difficult to explain.  I have faint memories garnered over centuries, but no way of ingraining them except the deepest rooted.  Some special individuals arise with fell magic engraved into them by sorcery.  I gained the magic from a friend and formed a pact, similar to my sister, but such doomed me to roam many worlds, never to return to the same one.  And then I met a hippie, the most foul in creation, who imprisoned me into this shape and removed my curse by shackling me with a worse one.  I have no way of going home, and even if one tries to grant me my truest wish it will take two to restore me.  That is, after a certain prerequisite, but please pardon me.  My tongue diverged and ran off!"

He broke out in a fit of chuckles at the thought of his tongue bounding away, but the additional people in the room quickly caught his eye and ear, including a fresh face that made his heart melt.

"Ah, a little girl!" he muttered as if to himself.  "Such reminds me of an elf I met long ago.  Granted, he had sharpness to his tongue, but she certainly has a bite of her own, doesn't she?  Look at that face of hers."

He picked his voice up as he heard a bit more conversation, and when a mentioning of patrol came up he was happy to verbally sign up.

"I CAN HELP TOO!" he piped before coughing.  That exerted too much on his throat, unlike a fox-like woman of Nohr.  "I mean, I would love to assist in this manner of cycling through territory in search of oddities or areas of interest.  Please lead the way whenever you desire.  My good sir, Baxter, we can continue our conversation some time later, yes?"

((So many references, so little time.  Rufus and Maxis would hit it off nicely if they ever meet.))

-Helios, with Gel and the siblings - Entering the city of Avarice-

As is with most big cities, the entrance was grand as they entered the city. The cobblestone streets flooded with people and market stalls selling items ranging from food, fruits, vegetables to souvenirs, clothing, jewelry and more. As always and expected, it was packed. Helios honestly doubted that they would be able to meet up with Henry in a city so big and busy. but they were going to try anyways. "If a coup happens, it will provide more than enough distraction. I would love to see Alderon's face when he returns if his kingdom is to fall under the rule of the neighboring kingdom." Helios chuckled. Then again, seeing Alderon angry or displeased or in pain or annoyed at anything in particular seemed like a treat, a change of his usual smirk and arrogant nature that made the room nauseous with his presence alone. He paused, turning to Gel and the siblings. "You said that the ruler of this country was a queen. Is she any better than Alderon?"

-Arthur, with his King and the Pheonix group - At Raiden's Villa-

Arthur jumped slightly at the sudden trick of lights. The tension between Draksis and Alastor slowly fading away at the presence of the much awaited Raiden. Arthur could not help but to gasp at the trick, his eyes glimmering at the sight of the lights. And to think that this was only scratching the surface of what they could possibly do. It was exciting...and ever so frightening. His grip became slightly shaky, twitching a bit as it hovered over the hilt of his sheathed sword. The friendliest of faces and warmest of welcomes were always the most dangerous, he was trained to know as much. If he let his guard down, it could be the end of it for him. However he was not without courtesy, or respect. He gulped slightly, lowering his head and bowing it to lord Raiden, though he didn't speak. He wouldn't want to interrupt the king after all, if he were to speak up whenever he did.

Jynn Venas-Mystras

After watching Mel fly away with incredible speed, Jynn then searches for the source of the disturbance. As he searches, he notices that it is getting closer. It was coming from Raiden's Villa up the hill. Jynn then thinks to himself. "So, he IS up to something......" Jynn then faces the tavern where Alicia, Yevgeni, and Rabiyu are. He knows that Yevgeni would probably grab something to eat before he starts working. Jynn then heads inside and opens the door.

One of the bartenders recognizes him. "It's the prince!" Everyone falls silent and stares at Jynn. This was slightly uncomfortable for him, but he takes it in stride. He walks up to Alicia, Rabiyu, and Yevgeni. "This has gone on long enough, we need to pay Raiden a visit. The shrine has been activated again. He is definitely up to something...... I'll pay for your stuff."

Neena ~ The Zealot ~ Mystras; Raiden's Villa

The company had arrived. The King of the humans and his servants. Entourage really. A motley crew of assassins, guards, knights, generals. Neena knew she could dispatch any of them with ease (their lack of magical power made them exceptionally weak in comparison to her she thought), except perhaps the woman who stood close to the King. She had actual magic, and that thought disturbed her. Magic was not meant for people on the surface. However, she'd waited too long. She was playing it cautiously, as right she should when this outnumbered. However now, Raiden and Alastor were back. Perched upon the shadows of the catwalk, she watched carefully, waiting for a moment when she could disrupt. This meeting could lead to a very dangerous alliance, one that she could not allow to stand undamaged. There were still other players in this game too. Jynn and Yevgeni and that lot should be here any second, and though she distrusted Shiva and her methods, their goals aligned in this moment. They could not get here fast enough.

Cerberos ~ The Mercenaries ~ Mystras; Flowering Hyssop

"I do not see why you two were so worried, not a thing has gone wrong!" Swanson proclaimed, caring little for the noise and attention he brought upon them as they entered the bar. It was a bar he thought, if it was not raucous it was a bad bar. Ryonne shook his head and Viridem rolled her eyes.

"Oh I suppose being in an enclosed space, with no chance of escape, with eight of the most skilled warriors in the kingdom against us shouldn't make me concerned for my safety, you're right." Viridem said bitterly as they moved forward, the three of them taking a seat at the bar. The bartender looked at them oddly, and some of the other, more watchful patrons did as well. Ryonne took particular notice of this.

"Try not to be so conspicious," He muttered under his breath to his partners. "We're still in a place we do not belong. Just because we're not near the King doesn't mean we're free from danger." He asserted. The bartender walked over to the three of them, and took orders for drinks, Swanson an ale, Viridem a whiskey, and Ryonne wanted only water. They continued to bicker amongst themselves but with a lower tone than beforehand.

Gel ~ The Farmer ~ Avarice; Entrance

As his comrades began to move forward, the bag of gold sitting untaken on the side of the road, Gel had a moment of duress. Why the firetruck hadn't they taken it? Gel had grown up poor, and such money did not come just by being in the right place at the right time very often. He looked between his departing allies and the bag a few more times, then swiped it up. He was not going to leave perfectly good gold behind. It was firetrucking gold! He rushed to catch up to them as they entered the city. They were still speaking of what had happened with the odd Duke, and Gel paused to consider it himself. It was not often that men of high standing traveled so far, and not with so many men. And just kind of considering all the other things that were happening, Gel wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of movement or uprising. "Afraid I didn't travel much before now. I know about as much about this country as you do Helios. I'm sure you two are in the know though, being mercenaries or what all?" Gel contributed.

Rabiyu - City of Mystras - Flowering Hyssop
"Pay for our..."The Elf said without emotion, "Do I really look like I need..."
Well, there went any possibilities of a surprise attack. The Prince was a strage individual indeed. A sigh was the only indication of Rabiyu's displeasure, for now.
"What a sudden change of thought, Your Highness," Rabiyu said quietly to the Prince, "I knew you would be able to sense the tampering of the shrine, but to come here fully aware that your presence would be a hindrance to us and our mission, and a clear declaration of your Mother, the Queen's intentions regarding Lord Raiden."
The High Elf did not saw the need to hide her displeasure towards the Prince, nor was it necessary, for it was her true feelings. Such a bothersome royal he was, with his heart in the right place, but without any patience. This act would surely be treated as a declaration of mistrust from the Queen towards Lord Raiden, the consequences could be dangerous.
"With your presence now known to everyone here," She said as she glanced towards the back, "I have no doubt the Kitsune will be will be alerting their Lord about you, and us for that matter."
The atmosphere was heavy now that the Prince was there, Rabiyu, and everyone else, could see and feel that. The Elf stood up and looked at the Prince in the eyes.
"Whatever happen today," she said, "it will be by your doing. If a fight is the result, and lives are...and when lives are lost, the blood of the dead will be in your hands. Not ours, not the Queen's, only yours, Crown Prince of Kilkes Seres."
The Elf then made a small bow and took her seat once again.
"What are your orders, your Highness?" she said, "I need to know what your plan will be in this situation. Whether I agree to follow it will be a completely different matter."

Aeternum Siblings, Helios and Gel - Entering the city of Avarice

The Siblings looked at each other for a moment, thinking about what to tell their companions. Aura was the fist to speak.
"Do not misunderstand what that person said, Helios," Aura said to the fey, "It is true that the Queen of Helvadoria is currently in charge of the country, but the real orders come from the King."
"A King that hasn't been seen in public for a long time," The older Aeternum said, "Which begs the question about what is wrong with him. It is not normal for a King to not address his subjects, even more so when the country is in a constant state of war with the neighboring kingdom."
Both siblings looked at their companions and shrugged.
"With the King of Sondom gone for the time being," Aura said flatly, "it would be the perfect time for an attack."
"I doubt the King would endanger his daughter, Princess Visco, so he must have had her stay behind instead of going to the world above." he said, "that would mean that the Princess will be in charge in case of an attack to the Kingdom. Which means the kingdom of Sondom would not be at its full power."

- Henry - THe Dreadnaught - On his way to Godolvia -

Bored, bored, bored, Henry was so firetrucking bored that he made a song about it while passing through the Toulouse area and passing through Troyes as well, taking his shortcut off road to reach Godolvia quicker, this usually worked, this was a much quiter shortcut, but also one of the most dangerous, but Henry wasn't in any danger, at least for the time being he wasn't.

Luckily the shortcut proved safe, well. It was still a commonly used route for bandits and other rogues, but he did not see any. He'd have expected Bounty hunters by now, which made him constantly on edge. 'Should have been sicced on by bounty hunters by no-' Henry's thought was interrupted as he heard someone shouting at him from a distance. 'Jinxed it...' He thought with a look of annoyiance in his expression. Simply walking towards the man in question, green hair, plenty of swords on him, maybe he was overcompensating for something, or he was good with a blade. A samurai or a bounty hunter, or both. Didn't matter.

Henry stopped in his tracks a fair distance away from him. "No, Im a knight errant passing by a dangerous shortcut in order to clear it of evil!" Henry snarked back at Vark. WIthout entering any pose, still keeping his cloak over him to conceal his armor and weapon. "Pleased to meet you."

"Your turn to tell me who you are now." Henry spoke. WIth an unamused face.

 - Alastor and Draksis - The Storm ruler and the Black knight - Raiden's villa -

"Its my job to be cautious" Alastor replied to Raiden's statement, while he dropped his intimidation, he still leaned his back against one of the walls in the room, overlooking the humans, he couldn't help but look at Midnea and her Red knight, he was suspicious of them. He was suspicious of everyone, but more so of the ones that wouldn't show their faces. Then again he wasn't showing his own either, so he'd best drop it.

Draksis grunted in frustration at Alastor's statements and at Raiden's welcome, Draksis kept close to Alderon, not letting the man off his side, he was gonna be the last to leave if he had to. It was his duty to protect the king, his life be damned, and now in this unknown world to them, his duty would still be held. But remaining silent, awaiting ALderon and Raiden to speak with one another.

- Mikhail and Typhon - The Witcher and the Bug man - Florest near Mystras -

Mikhail had ran out of stories to tell for the moment, while Typhon was lazily looking around the florest, they had to find a way out of there, and with all the chatting, Mikhail was rather lost, while Typhon knew where he was going, so the old witcher as following the bug man out of the forest in a sense.

The silence was broken as Mikhail's pendant began vibrating indicating high ammounts of magic around them. Damn useful tool the medallion. Useful to detect Medalions and other paranormal things, this prompted him to put his hand in front of Typhon to motion the bug man to a halt, as he had his hand on his sword. Out of nowhere a huge, hulking man rushed out of the bushes and trees or whatnot, and pushed them both aside, knocking Typhon and Mikhail back, as they ended up on opposide sides around Jimba.

"Who the-" Typhon muttered as the man spoke, pointing an open palm towards him clearly going to cast something, within a split second reaction Typhon generated some of his strong binding gel (which is also highly flamable). At the man's open palm. Now wheter or not the gel landed and stopped the blow was unknown unti lit happened, but Typhon was mostly safe from whatever explosion it would cause. "Who are you and what do you mean by punishment?!" Typhon shouted back after his action.

Mikhail however had to cast an active quen shield around him to shield himself from the blast, which offered just enough protection to protect him from the damage. But the strain on his stamina was hard. "A Shadin, you don't see one of these every day" Mikhail spoke, drawing his steel sword, as while Shadins were capable of magic, they were still flesh and blood in a sense. Nothing Unnatural about them.

- Alicia - The Grimoire wielder - Flowering Hyssop alongside Yevgeni and Rabyiu, now with Jynn -

Jynn's entrance was a complete surprise for Alicia, who was noticibly taken aback by the royalty's entrance in the bar, 'Crap, there goes our plan' She thought to herself as she frowned.

Noticing the other Inhabitants of the bar looking at Jynn, clearly this was not gonna end well. She kept caution at all times, who knows if the inhabitants would try something. "The Shrine, but thats...grr. Whatever we are going to do we best do it quickly and carefully now." She spoke to Jynn via whispers, making sure the civilians wouldn't hear. Awaiting Yevgeni's response.

Eclaire - Kilkes Seres

Eclaire watched the maid go. She still looked as sad as ever, before turning and undressing. She started selecting a new outfit, if only to have fresh clothes...but she had no idea what to wear.

"...I should have asked Fiona for help." She said softly. "...too late now, I guess." She sighed and rubbed her eyes, tugging on fresh underwear, before flopping onto the bed. She really had no fashion sense. She needed help.

"...there's no bell is there..." she looked around.

--Yevgeni Malachite-- Flowering Hyssop in Mystras--

The elf groaned as Rabiyu informed him that Jynn would soon be arriving, and lo and behold!  There his Highness stood before him only moments later, commanding that they head to pay Lord Raiden a visit immediately, but at least the Prince proffered to take the bill.  A slight grin of smugness appeared on Yevgeni's face as he crossed his arms and leaned back in his seat.  "Relax, Prince Jynn, all will be well.  A few additional minutes would hurt no one.  Besides, you so excellently blew our cover, so there is no need for such urgency.  In fact, I'm sure his Lordship will probably already know to be expecting you, so you will probably be well-received at the door."

There was full sarcasm in his voice.  Apparently he was not too thrilled that the Prince had shown up.  He'd wanted to take care of things his way, but with Jynn here now that endeavor was going to be impossible, and the two hardly agreed with the same course of action.

The kitsune server approached behind Jynn, tray in hand, a look of bewilderment upon his face.  "Are you going to be joining them, sir?" he asked, brow knitting together.  They'd already attracted the majority of the tavern's attention, some people even slipping off awkwardly now that royals were present.  Even the two drunken guards seemed to pay them some heed, stealing occasional glances and jerking their heads in their direction.  Yevgeni's eyes narrowed upon noticing this: clearly they were being discussed, which made him even more uncomfortable.

Finally Yevgeni decided that the server deserved a decent response.  "Oh, my apologies, but we are actually going to have to part ways early.  Is there anyway that I can get a panini to go, preferably one with grilled chicken and peppers?  I was so heavenly eyeing that on the menu and it saddens me to think I couldn't try it.  We'll take the check now."

The redhead server looked completely baffled by the lot of him, but nodded and tucked the tray under his arm after unloading the others' orders.  "Very well, sir.  I will wrap your panini and provide your check.  It will be just a moment."  And with that he bustled to the back.  This left Yevgeni's attention upon the prince, and Alicia who whispered over to him.  Even she seemed momentarily disturbed by the prince's arrival; perhaps she too did not like a sudden change of plans.

"So," Yev spoke, taking a long drink of his lemon water, "what makes you change your mind, hmm? I thought you had decided against putting the Queen's dearest and only son in danger?  I had everything perfectly under control, though of course your presence is always welcomed."

Something finally did snap his attention from the prince and his irritation, which revolved around the appearance of a trio that seemed rather out of place.  He watched them momentarily, though they were too far away for him to catch any fragments of their conversation.  They too seemed like they were not from Mystras, though he couldn't pinpoint what made them so special.

--Alderon Niles and Curvis -- Raiden's Villa in Mystras--

Alastor's presence made many of them uneasy.  Curvis had even taken a step forward upon the Lightning Man's presence, his hand at his sword's hilt so that he could pull it out in a flash.  However, he stopped himself.  This man was one who had loyally served Raiden, supposedly, probably not much unlike how Lord Draksis serves King Alderon.  It occurred to Curvis, just then, how very much at the mercy they were of these fey.  Should they decided to turn against the humans they would have now way of retaliating or fighting back.  They would be helpless, which unnerved the young man immensely.  He stole a glance into the face of his king, whose expression was like that of stone and seriousness.  He seemed unfazed by Alastor's display, but instead responded,  "That will be fine, though names are a customarily exchanged upon meeting someone for the first time, or at least where we hail from."

It was a bold statement, and yet Alderon was a very bold figure.  I suppose he wasn't crowned king simply for being the heir to the throne, even if that were initially so.

Only moments after words were exchanged Lord Raiden made his appearance, and the man was far different from Alderon's expectations from their conversing through parchment.  Raiden had been a ruler of Mystras for many centuries, yet he held the grace and stature of a young man.  His face, too, displayed both wisdom and youth, something quite rare to be sighted in the World Below.  The king nodded respectfully and began to stride up to Raiden, extending a friendly hand to him in greeting.  After he did so he partially wondered if this was a practice of the Overworld, or if this could be taken in an offensive or ill manner.  "It is a pleasure to finally meet you, Lord Raiden.  Your staff has been only the most courteous to us since we have arrived.  Thank you for your invitation to your city.  We caught a glimpse of it as we were escorted and I daresay that its beauty greatly surpasses my own in Sondon."  He let out a weak chuckle, though there was some sorrow and resentment biting within his tone.

All Curvis could think of was, "A feast!  Another feast, and in such quick succession!  This is marvelous!"  He thought he could never go hungry again.

Alderon then continued: "Your proposed meal sounds splendid, and we shall make haste in preparation.  We have much to discuss, Lord Raiden, and many future plans to bring forth.  It makes my heart soar with joy that this day has come.  I will stand proud to be one who has reunited our two worlds once more, even if sacrifices are to be made."

Sacrifices?  Reunite, and not unite?  These statements made Curvis raise a brow in alarm.  This story sounds drastically different from what he'd initially thought, or had been told for that matter.  He'd thought the Overworld was recently discovered and that they would be making a new home there, but reuniting the two worlds?  What was this rubbish?  The Overworld had never been known or frequented before . . . had it?

(Kuni, feel free to insert Soren anywhere within this scene, if you'd like. :) )

--Queen Shiva -- Kilkis Seres--

A soft smile waned upon the queen's face as she watched the two, so happily engrossed in their game.  Guilt ripped at her heart as she bit her lip.  Why couldn't she bring more justice?  Why couldn't she be more fair?  To aid her people she had to crush and destroy others, including using the very people that brought peace and prosperity upon her own.  "Maxis," she voiced softly, taking a step forward.  "The problem is, I--I don't know what to do, I really do not."  She took a few strides across the room, grasping her elbows as she glanced anywhere but at Maxis.  "I really thought the last war would resolve everything and that I would not need to persist in my father's wishes.  This barrier, I know, is for the good of everyone, and yet . . . I am hurting so many people."

Her voice cracked and, quite surprisingly, a shimmering tear rolled down the ice queen's cheek.  "I am pretending not to know what is going on, Maxis, but I am in denial.  I know perfectly well what is happening, and what I must do.  It's just . . . .  I--I don't want to hurt him."

She brought a hand to her mouth and turned away, sniffling as her shoulders sagged with a sob.  It was very rare for Shiva to ever reach such a state, though this would not be the first time that Maxis would see her in such a state.  "It is always about duty, never about what is right, and yet my very being is bound to do what it is my father sought," she murmured, her back still Maxis as she faced the window.  "I need your help, Maxis.  I can't do this without you.  That is the true reason I summoned you.  You have always been there for me, ever since I was a little girl, and with you around I feel . . . that everything will be okay."  She whirled around on heel.  Her eyes were glassy, tears streaming down her cheeks, and her small petite nose red; a rather significant contrast from her exceptionally pallid skin.  For the first time in a while, the two-thousand-year-old queen's expression held uncertainty, very much seeming like that young woman who was crowned queen with the help of her enchanted suit of armor.  "Everything will be, though, won't it?"

- - - - - -

Down in the world below, outside of the Kingdom of Sondon were two soldiers conversing merrily to one another.  One had his visor raised as he ate an apple, the other was bantering on about how he was to be engaged with Lady Effie (clearly the work of alcohol, for such an engagement was certainly not a thing).  Just as the other knight was preparing to take another bite of his apple an arrow pierced through it, causing him to yelp and drop it onto the ground.  Alongside him he heard the clanging of metal, only to find his friend in a heap on the ground, a puddle of crimson pooling around him.  "W--who's there?" the guard shouted out weakly into the evening sky, squinting.  Shame that it grew dark so early, at only four in the afternoon this time of year, for it made patrolling exceptionally difficult. It was then that he noticed that the torches were extinguished.  How did this happen?

He did not get the privilege to ponder it for long, as he was immediately greeted by death as a swordsman snuck up behind him.  The carriage rolled to a halt and out stepped the duke.  He ignited a torch and glanced up at the well-lit castle.  It was so peaceful during this time of day, the sun having just set and dinner being prepared.  "I do hope that they reserved an additional seat for a visitor at their table," the duke muttered under his breath, his lips curving up into a smile.  "Let us go pay a visit to our dear princess, shall we?  I'm sure that she will be quite pleased to have guests."

The three-hundred men slowly began emerging through the palace gates, which no longer were guarded, and made their way closer to the castle.  It wouldn't be long before they were close enough to be detected, but that was fine in the duke's book.  They still weren't expected, and just from a simple glance he could discern that they were not prepared or a siege, nor was Her Highness experienced in dealing with one.

--Elia Cabret-- Mountains outlining Mystras--

The fairy grew red in the face at Baxter's sudden outburst.  She took a step in between the two and shouted right back, "Yes, she did!  Why are getting all worked up about it?  Why does it matter to you?" Anger was replaced by bewilderment.  It was curious that Baxter should care so much, so much as shooting down the messenger who voiced it.  Something seemed off about that; she was making a mental note of this for later.  "And anyway we will have much time for explanation, but I fear that standing here is only an invitation for an assault.  The ogres weren't too far away from earlier; I'd hate to think that they might manage to find their way here.  Let's go."

While Elia was taking the lead, she did not necessarily possess any leader-like qualities.  In fact, most would be hard-pressed to even call her the leader of the group at all. Her combat skills were only sub-par, having specialized mostly in healing than anything else.

They ventured further from the mountains.  They did not have a particular goal, nor were they given one.  They were instructed to look for anything suspicious and, while they weren't sure what that was, Elia figured that they'd find it when they did.

Suddenly Elia heard a twig snap, followed by several other sounds not belonging to their party.  She could smell magic in the air, and out in the distance could trace voices.  "There's something out there," the fairy voiced.  "And it sounds to me like a conflict."

Jynn Venas-Mystras, The Flowering Hyssop

Jynn looks around the tavern. It seemed that everyone went back to their routines, but there were still a few lingering eyes. He then faces back to Yevgeni, annoyed by his obvious sarcasm. But then he calmly takes a seat next to the trio. He faces the bartender. "Lemon water please....... I'll stay a little bit longer......" The bartender nods and heads out to get his drink. Jynn then looks at the trio slightly. He begins to talk soothingly. "Let's have a honest talk here..... You guys have no reason to hide your dislike of me...... Nobody's perfect. I'm not perfect......." The bartender brings him his drink, to which he thanks her for. He then focuses back on the others. "I understand that none of you tolerate my presence here. Perhaps you guys maybe wish I don't exist. But at times like these, it is dangerous to have that kind of thinking. If Raiden is really behind all of this............" He pauses and takes a drink. "Then war is inevitable." He takes another look around the tavern, nobody seemed to be focused on him. He then faces back to the trio. "All I ask is that we work as a team to stop him if he is. And once this is all over, you guys will never have to see the likes of me again." He finishes his drink and stands up. He then remembers Yevgeni's question. "My life isn't what's important to me. I wish for only the safety of the Overworld and those who reside within it. I will protect the Overworld, even if it means sacrificing myself." He then takes a long sigh. "You three can stay here if you wish. But if you want to follow along and listen to my plan, stop me outside." He then pays for his drink and proceeds to leave through the door.

Bherna Lao-Her abode near Mystras

Bherna was afraid of Baxter at first, hiding behind Aqua. But when Baxter apologizes for his outburst, she steps towards him. But she stops when he mentions the word 'princess'. "'Princess'? No sir, you got the wrong idea. I'm not interested in the throne........ The way my dad described it sounded rather.......... intimidating. He would never let me be what I don't want to be." She pauses. She was not one to possess the skills necessary to lead like her father does. "Plus, I'm adopted, my dad's blood doesn't run in my veins." As soon as the two started to know each other, Baxter has another outburst when Aqua mentions Jynn's absence. She then hides behind Elia. "Why are you so angry?" As soon as Baxter pledges to be by Jynn's side, he takes off.

Rabiyu - City of Mystras - Flowering Hyssop
"For someone who is nearly two millennia old," Rabiyu said calmly, "the Prince acts like a spoiled child."
The High Elf slowly began to eat her loaf of bread and eggs. Slowly looking around and stopping with the trio that had arrived moments before. Something was strange with those three, but the elf really wasn't interested in finding out what it was. Rabiyu then looked at her traveling companions.
"He likes to put words in the mouths of others, saying that we may wish he didn't existed," She said, a little annoyed, "The royals of this continent are quite the bunch. Back at home, someone like him would be in the eyes of the Judges at all times, any mistake such as this one would allow any Judge to stripe him of his title and rank."
With a sigh Rabiyu looked at the exit then back at Yevgeni.
"While I do agree that he may be an annoyance, if something were to happen to the Crown Prince," she said, "the issues that would arise would be disastrous between the Queen and Lord Raiden. Open war could be possible while seeking retribution. I would simply return home before the King and Queen summoned a wall to protect the Northern continent of the senseless war, but those native to this continent would suffer. What do you think, both of you? Should we stay with the Crown Prince for the time being? Or should we seek other means to stop these events from further escalating?"

(Will post for the Siblings at a later time since I still need to known what Helios and Gel think.)

Aqua flinched at Baxter's outburst. She was about to reply to him when Elia spoke up for her. A small sigh emitted from her lips. However, it seemed like things weren't going to get any better for the small group she watched Elia leave to start the mission. Baxter then said how he was going to go after Jynn. Bherna had tried to talk to Baxter. Aqua couldn't tell whether he heard anything Bherna had said or just chose not to listen. It didn't matter to her. Aqua looked at Bherna. "Let's just go follow after Elia, okay?" She asked and started out the door after the time mage.

She made a choice right then to really get stronger. It wasn't very far she had been following Elia when the Elf spoke up. "So what's the plan, Elia?" Aqua asked with a slight tilt of her head.

She tightened her grip on the staff. She wasn't going to be killed she just couldn't allow it. She wouldn't allow it rather.

- Rufus Contralto, currently with Elia's party -

Rufus smiled at first by Baxter's reply, but humphed in surprise and displeasure at his sudden yell, wondering what caused such an outburst.  Was it due to the fact that he was tasked to guard the royal family, or was it because of something else such as disliking the girl?  He did not deign ask, not yet anyway, and otherwise stayed silent as feathers were ruffled on the fairy.

They left seemingly without much of a hitch, and Rufus found himself lost in thoughts as he hovered nearby the rest, his wispy hair being tugged by soft winds.  It seemed like only the intangible elements of air, heat, and sound could reach him.  Everything else passed through him excepting commands dictated by the rules of the lamp.  Interesting, he thought, catching the fact that a loose leaf flew through him.

That was not the only thing of interest.  Beautiful nature engulfed him in its splendour, bright mountain flowers gracing him as he hovered alongside the group and forests as gorgeous as that of his home rising from the rough earth like prongs from the body of a fork.

And then came Elia's warning, arresting his attention and prompting him to tense his ears.  She was right.  The sounds of some sort of squabble could be heard in the distance, and he grinned, knowing how best to make himself useful.

"At once, comrades, follow or flee, but steel thyselves regardless of thy decision!  Rufus, AWAY!"

And he was away, taking the lead and leaving the tether of his hairy head behind like a long rope heading further into the forest.  He peered his head out of a tree and caught a glimpse of an odd battle.  Buggies and oldies and baddies, oh my.  And such destruction came from that larger fellow, leaving a tree turned with his colossal might.  If Rufus had a corporeal body, he might have been terrified for his life, but since he didn't he giddily wagged his butt on the other side of the tree.  He loved a good scrap, especially if the combatants had creative and effective arts of combat.

- Lord Raiden and Raleigh Marin, currently conversing within Raiden's villa -

Raleigh's thoughts of fear and drawing weaponry from her holsters drifted off as her interest piqued at the thought of another feast, one filled with exotic goods and oceans of intrigue.  The stories!  The visuals!  The food!  She felt that she did not pack enough for herself that last feast, so that was a great moment to stock up.  Her next thoughts trailed to the cheesecake she still had gingerly packed away in her rucksack, and as the tension died down from the two gruff protectors she fought back the urge to have a nibble.

Focus, girl, focus, she chastised herself inwardly.  You're in dangerous company with friend and foe alike, and you're with the king himself.  Best not act aloof, but rather on guard.

Raiden smiled at Alderon's acceptance, though not everyone had initial warmth towards his hospitality.  That was good.  Distrust, while breeding dissent within a friendly environment, was a profound trait among a possibly hostile one.

"The pleasure is all mine, I assure you," Raiden stated, his words ringing of joy and honesty as he took Alderon's hand in friendship.  "I invested such time in attempting to meet someone in the world below, but never did I assume it would be someone of royal blood.  Come!  Let me show you one of the best views in our world.  It is the main reason why I chose this location for my home.  Any and all may join.  There is much to see before the sun sets and the festivities begin."

Again his eye glanced toward Midnea out of the corner of his vision, still not sure about the dangerous fey's return.  He had to handle things delicately with her around, especially if King Alderon Niles trusted her or, worse yet, was infatuated with her.  Perhaps he could have her disappear in the night, her throat quietly and efficiently slit by a shadow in the dark and a stiletto impaling the man in red.  While he loathed killing, she and her accomplices were exceptions to the rule.

-Helios, with the Aeternum siblings and Gel, in Avarice-
Helios thought of everything he was told, accepting the information now out of interest. "Maybe the King doesn't even exist." Helios said as he shrugged. "If he is as hidden as you say, maybe he is simply an enigma that exists only as a front of who really rules over the kingdom. Or maybe he existed once but ceased to exist at one point, but the truth never reached its people to keep any enemies at bay...the reasons could be endless." Helios said, speaking his thoughts as he found himself unable to stop. He was free to express himself...and until that is taken away from you, you don't realize how precious it can be. "If the Kingdom of Sondom were to fall, I think it would be considered fitting payback after what they've done to their own people." Helios spoke. By this point, the royal family of Sondom as a whole, and all of those who followed them and revered them, were his enemies. Heartless enemies who deserved equally heartless treatment to make amends. For Sondom to fall under the rule of its sworn enemy...that would be a fitting ending. "I'm thinking of heading back to my home world once I am able to repay my debt to all of you." Helios said as he looked around the city, glancing at the stalls and its wares. "I've been gone from home for far too long...and someone has to warn the Queen of the visitors they are most likely not expecting. I wonder if much has changed." Helios hummed, his mind drifting off and talking to himself before smiling at the group. "Do you want to come with me? You can have new lives, a new slate, you know? Or temporary if that's what you wish...I don't know how else to thank your kindness." Helios said cheerfully, turning to Gel. "You can live your life thee without being persecuted. Lots of places to hide and live simply. With your powers, you would blend right in."

-Arthur, with King Alderon and company at Raiden's villa-

The mention of a feast had Arthur's stomach growling for the offer. The sound of it made Arthur curse under his breath, begging whatever would hear him that no one else had heard his stomach, that it wasn't as loud as he thought it was. He didn't eat at the last feast. He was working, after all, ordered as guard and watching over in case anything needed for him and his comrades to intervene. However, seeing that they were all guests this time...he definitely wouldn't turn down a feast invitation. Unless, of course his majesty said so. As far as he had seen, this man, Raiden, was just as noble and wonderful as the King. This alliance could only bring the best for both worlds...right?

Neena ~ The Zealot ~ Mystras; Raiden's Villa

Neena continued to watch the goings on silently. No one was entirely comfortable with this situation, she could derive that much. Distrust was already seeded between the two allies, and for good reason. Humans certainly couldn't be trusted, and if Raiden wished to unite the worlds as he had said, he definitely couldn't be trusted. Neena was glad she was here right now. It was a good time. She could watch and wait and strike when she needed to. Alastor was a problem, she could tell that much. If she could pull it off, exploiting this distrust so that she could get Alastor busy with the humans whilst she dealt with the fey among humans and Raiden swiftly (that was another thing... Could she pull that off? It'd be a hell of a trick at the very least...). Or perhaps instead of manipulating chaos, she should instigate duels one at a time in isolated instances. If she played her cards right, that might create chaos anyway. So many options... Whatever she did, it would have to be soon, before the alliance before her grew in strength.

Cerberos ~ The Mercenaries ~ Mystras; Flowering Hyssop

Their drinks on the counter in front of them, Viridem and Swanson were continuing to disagree while Ryonne refocused. They were here to figure out what the place was like, report back to their employer on the potentials of it. Just since coming here, Ryonne had already felt so incredibly... out of place. Even those that seemed nearly indistinguishable from humans had an odd aura about them, one of experience, age, or power. He couldn't quite tell. All the same, there were also those that seemed almost entirely inhuman, many with wings of a bird or butterfly or bat. Some with the horns of a devil, or the tail of a monkey. Some with markings on their skin. Ryonne could hardly absorb it all. However, what held his rapt attention, was the presence of a foursome, that were discussing something with quite the same vitality his own group did. He scanned the rest of the bar, and noticed many also had the four in their sights. Ryonne tapped Viridem on the shoulder, getting the attention of his comrades. "Something fishy with those over there. They've got the attention of everyone here." Ryonne said under his breath. Swanson took a very conspicuous look around, then nodded.

"I wonder who they are?" The Axe Collector pondered out loud. Viridem sighed, closing her eyes and shaking her head. She got up off her seat and moved towards where a big Fey man with butterfly wings sat with a pint in front of him.

"Excuse me, but do you know who those guys are?" Viridem asked innocently. The man scoffed, then answered.

"The bloody prince. Damn royals think they own everything they can see. Lord Raiden's the real power around here." Viridem nodded and thanked him, then returned to her comrades, an expression of "See? Told you so." on her face. Ryonne watched Viridem's face for a moment longer then returned his gaze to Jynn.

"What are they doing here and why are people hostile? And didn't we hear Raiden when the Alderon and his party were en route to wherever they're going." Ryonne continued to wonder out loud, hoping to generate more conversation. Swanson, not one to be outdone by Viridem's strategy of just asking, stood up, and despite Ryonne and Viridem's hisses to come back, he wandered over towards Jynn, Yevgeni, Rabiyu, and Alicia. With a hapless smile on his face, he began to speak to them.

"Good evening fellows! And you, my prince," Swanson bowed towards Yevgeni, having mistaken the identity of the prince. "My friends and I are mercenaries, and noticed hushed tones. I've always wanted to work for a prince. Could you perhaps indulge me in getting some work?"

Gel ~ The Farmer ~ Avarice

Gel pondered the coup longer. He found himself agreeing with Helios really, after what they'd put him through? They definitely deserved what they got. Still... coups were bloody affairs. Gel couldn't find it within himself to just kick back and enjoy the bloodshed. He couldn't do anything personally yes, but that didn't mean he had to like it. His heart went out to those that may end up lost. He refocused on the conversation at hand, as Helios offered them all a clean slate. Would it be that easy? Gel thought it would be wonderful, truly, to be able to do just that. Would it be the same as home? Probably not, especially if everyone was like Helios. That was, ever so slightly weird. But Gel was weird now too. He could fit in, yeah. "I mean, yeah. That'd be great. I've never wanted to stay here. It feels so dangerous... Like I could be apprehended at any moment. Tortured again... But this time, death doesn't feel like it'll ever be an option." Gel meditated on the nature of his powers. He didn't know how far was too far, he had no clue at what point his magic would give up and he would perish. "You say that your home is peaceful yes? I think I'd like that. I don't know about you guys, but peace would be quite a nice thing." Gel asked the Aeternum siblings on their own opinions.

Eclaire - Approaching Shiva, Kilkes Seres

She, the powerful vigilante, wandering mistake, slayer of minotaur in mere seconds and wielder of such mighty weapons that some tremble at their mere presence...she who could balance on a needle, run along a fence and scale a wall with speed alone, and who could move so fast you swore she teleported...

Was currently wobbling her way around the castle in heels.

Yes, Eclaire, a powerful Valkyrie-Succubus hybrid, was unable to walk in heels. And as she tried to find her way around to get accustomed to the castle, she felt like a fool. Nevermind she was clad in a beautiful white and gold dress, she could barely walk. She finally, though, found herself looking through a door at Shiva and Maxis. Maybe Shiva had tips?

But as she stumbled forward, she heard crying...and froze. She didn't know what to do. The Queen, crying? Maxis probably being Maxis...her unable to walk in these...

What am I supposed to do...

Aeternum Siblings, Helios and Gel - Avarice

Aurion nodded and smiled.
"It does sounds good," he replied, "being able to live in peace."
Aura was also looking around the stalls to keep her mind of other things.
"It sure does," she said calmly, "That is exactly what my Brother and I are looking for."
For a moment Aura remained silent, then she looked at her traveling companions.
"If we could have a calm and peaceful life in your world, Helios," Aura said while looking at the Fey," I would certainly like to live there."
The younger Aeternum sighed and crossed her arms, a a slightly tone of annoyment could be heard in her voice.
"Our world is going to change, if Sondon wins then its rule would spread like a disease. If Helvadoria wins I'm sure the Kingdom would walk the same path as Sondon given enough time," Aura said, "That only leave the kingdom of Augustus which is neutral and doesn't involve with the war between Sondon and Helvadoria, but if the winning Kingdom set their eyes on the Kingdom of Augustus then it would be engulfed in a short time."

--Yevgeni Malachite-- Flowering Hyssop--

At Jynn's words the blond elf crossed his arms and laughed.  "Oh, please, Prince Jynn, you are being presumptuous.  Dislike is a rather large word, and no one dislikes you here"--he took a swig of water, before glancing around at the leery patrons--"well, except maybe for them.  I don't know how they feel about royalty casually hanging around these parts."

The redheaded server approached their table tentatively, placing Yev's panini-to-go in front of him while setting the check on the table.  Yevgeni nodded in the direction of the prince.  "I think he's going to take care of the charges."

"Oh, my apologies, then," spoke the server, who hastily placed the check in front of Jynn.  The redhead stared at the prince for several moments, taking him in fully, before taking a step back.  "Please let me know if there is anything else you all will be needing," he added, before turning on heel and heading toward another table he was waiting on.

While it was true that Yevgeni did not fully support Prince Jynn, he had been most loyal to King Alexander, and thus served the royal family from a distance.  Jynn proffered them joining him if they would before he departed from the Flowering Hyssop, many stares following him.  The blond shook his head, eyeing his boxed panini and longing to break into it.  He couldn't help but laugh aloud upon Rabiyu's words.  They were harsh and incredibly blunt, but she didn't care.  He liked that about her.

"Well, I don't deny that anything you said was true," said Yevgeni, leaning back in his chair, "but I'm interested in seeing how this little endeavor of the prince plays out.  I also fear that if we allow him to go alone he will get himself imprisoned or killed, if what we suspect of Raiden is true, and then we will have to hear it from the queen about how we've failed the continent.  I'd rather skip the lecture, even if I partially do want to see Jynn go sacrifice himself for the good of all fey."

It was then that the odd trio, which Yevgeni had been watching earlier, approached their table.  This struck the elf as rather curious, but what was even more interesting was that one of them thought he was the prince!  Immediately Yevgeni was going to correct them, but at the last moment stilled his tongue.  Perhaps I could benefit from this for a moment, he thought, eyeing the three individuals.  They must not be from here if they think I am the prince, which may mean they are with the humans and Raiden.

"Why hello to you as well, my fine gentleman.  I could always use a little assistance."  Yevgeni cocked an eyebrow.  "But why are you so interested in helping me?  Surely a Mystrian such as yourself wouldn't wish to aid royals when you are independent of our rule.  You wouldn't perhaps be spies, now, would you?"

Yes, Yevgeni was enjoying this little game.  He hoped that the others would catch on and not correct the situation, especially since Jynn had just left the building.

Meanwhile, outside of the Flowering Hyssop a soldier that had been drinking noticed Jynn leave, to which he followed him outside.  "Excuse me, your royal Highness," the soldier said, offering Jynn a respectful bow.  This was not easy to do in his heavy suit of armor, so hopefully Jynn realized he was trying to pay the utmost respect to him.   "I could not help but overhear your arrival and I would like to welcome you to our beloved City of Mystras in honor of Lord Raiden.  Is there anything I might do for you while you are here to make your stay more comfortable?  Do you have bodyguards?  While we have patrolmen at all times I must admit that it's dangerous to go alone.  You never know who would be interested in ending your life, being a royal.  If you do not I would insist on escorting you wherever you wish to go."

--Alderon and Curvis -- Taking a leisurely tour around Raiden's villa--

The king seemed rather surprised by Midnea's rejection of the tour.  Hadn't she received much rest on the Phoenix?  Perhaps she did not rest well, Alderon convinced himself, as he approached Midnea and took her hand to kiss it.  "Please rest well, my dear," Alderon soothed.  "I will look forward to dining in your company shortly."

Alderon then turned, smoothing down his red velvet vest with his hands.  "I would very much be interested in seeing more of Mystras, Lord Raiden.  Me and my accomplices have been rather intrigued by the present sights of this world.  It is so very alive, unlike our world below.  Even I, a mere human, can sense the energy of this world radiating around me."

The energy of this world?  Curvis hadn't really thought about it before, but Alderon's words rang true.  There was indeed something different about the Overworld, something that their world lacked.  Sure, everything was lush, green, and alive, in comparison to their dank dry existence below, but even the air seemed charged and smelt different.  It was difficult for him to describe, or even fully comprehend, but there was indeed something impressive about being there.  He never wanted to leave.

In his daydreaming he noticed that the king and lord had already begun departing down the hall to begin on their tour, and Curvis didn't want to get stuck with Midnea (because that seemed boring).  He dashed to catch up with them, taking the rear behind Raleigh and Arthur.  "What do you suppose their food is like?" Curvis wondered aloud to his two companions, never taking his eyes off of Raleigh's dark, silky locks.  "I'm guessing that it is entirely foreign.  Do you suppose we'll see anything extraordinary besides dancing flames on this little tour?"

"Now, forgive my ignorance and my prudence, if this happens to be an insensitive question, but how much would be involved in dissolving the barrier between our worlds for good?  Is this something that we may accomplish, or will we be required to invoke this queen you've spoken of?" Alderon asked the lord as they made their way around a corner.  Perhaps he was cutting too much to the chase, but he was rather curious if he would be meeting this ice queen that seemed like quite the cruel and unfriendly creature, if she was the one involved in erecting the barrier to begin.

----

The sound of hooves could be heard approaching the palace of Sondon.  Sondonian soldiers who noticed them were immediately slayed before they could even seek reinforcements.  As they approached the double doors to the main entrance of the castle their carriage came to a halt.  Out stepped the duke, decked out in silver-plated armor, his claymore attached to his back that he slowly removed.  "Leave no survivors, except for the princess and her supposed 'witch,'"   the duke declared, gesturing toward the doors.  "For Helvadoria!  We will take our country back and whatever belongs to us!"

The doors burst open and in flooded over a hundred Helvadorian soldiers, their weapons raised.  Archers took up the rear and positioned themselves around statues, shooting their opponents from a distance whilst seeking higher round to shoot from.  This was certainly going to be quite the disaster for Princess Visco, and it would only be a short while before she learned that they were under attack.  What a wonderful birthday present.

--Elia Cabret -- Conflict in the mountain range--

"Wait, no, Rufus!" squealed the raven-haired fairy, but it was too late: the genie had already leapt into the fray, seeming quite satisfied with himself.  A low groan escaped her as she strove forward in flight.  "Come on, we can't let him get himself killed," Elia murmured, flying away from the lot of them.  Her haste magic was certainly good for some things.  Her body began to shimmer with amber flecks, and the others saw her small form soar away at an incredible speed.

It didn't take long for her to arrive at the scene of the fight, though to determine what was going on was proving difficult.  Sure, there was a bug-man and a magic man fighting some other kind of . . .  man, but who was at fault here?  She watched as Rufus approached.  What was he going to do?

(Will post for Shiva once Scrap posts.)

- Maxis - The Living Armor - In Kilkis Seres alongside Shiva -

Maxis dropped all of his sarcastic and carefree demeanor the moment he saw the crack in Shiva's voice and her intonation change, Maxis knew her better than Raiden himself, and he knew what made her sad, and for her to be sad it'd have to be something very serious. He hated seeing her sad, it always gave him...a certain bloodlust. He could not explain it.

He had a different view of war, he viewed it as a completely unecessary action, that only created more problems for you to fix later, never was it beneficial in any way, yet Feys were bound to their very nature to wage war against one another. "War never resolved anything, only created more problems." Maxis spoke as he began taking a few steps towards Shiva, his metal figure's footsteps audible on the floor.

Maxis soon put his hand lightly on Shiva's shoulder, the cold steel could be felt from her, but Maxis's aura was...comforting...in a sense. To her at least, since they knew each other for millenias. "Then...Perhaps its time for you to follow your heart...and not your father's" Maxis spoke to her softly, As he slowly turned Shiva around to face him, as he hugged her tightly, but also gently enough not to hurt her with his metal frame. "Do what you believe its right for once. A leader follows his dream, and his followers rally behind him, because they see it as their own as well." He added.

"Remember when we first met? You had the same face as you do now...uncertainty. with the exception of a couple of assassins trying to kill you, you are still the very same girl from that fateful day to me...and I made a vow to never let anything bad befall you. On my honor. My life...the seal that binds me." He spoke, putting a finger on her cheek as tears rolled down on it as he looked at her in the eyes. "I was always there for you when you needed me, and I will always be there for you, regardless of what side you may choose." Maxis spoke softly, his tone very different from his normally sarcastic, malicious self, it sounded very...fatherly, to an extent.

"I am your shield, your protector, your friend, but I am not here to guide you, I chose to merely stand by your side and support whatever you wished to do. And now is the time, for you to do so. I will be there for you, always, and for your son as well." Maxis spoke to her.

- Alicia - The Grimoirer - Flowering hyssop -

"You do know that if the queen got word that you allowed anything to happen to her son, she'd sick 'The Beholder' after you. You know who." Alicia clarified to Yevgeni about the elf's secret wish to see Jynn sacrifice himself.

As they were approached by a weird band of individuals, who particularly looked even more out of place than they were, Alicia was not wasting any time with talking, in contrary to Yevgeni who soon began playing with them. "Im gonna go after Jynn, someone has to make sure he doesn't get himself in trouble...at least not alone." Alicia commented as she left.

And as she left she overheard an annonymous soldier the offer of an escort for Jynn. Alicia walked out of the bar, putting away her hood, as she looked at the man, and maintained a serious face. "Its fine. He is with me." She spoke with a small smile, as she stood beside Jynn as she looked at them.

To Jynn, she was nothing more than a common hired hand from Shiva, but to these soldiers, and many other denizens of many other kingdoms of the overworld. Alicia had the special nickname. "The Violet Storm". For she had taken many contracts to kill monsters and defend the cities around her travels, so much the normal communities began to recognize her, surely these soldiers would know about her as well. Since Mystras was a very profitable place to work as a monster hunter. Surprisingly so. "Do appreciate the concern though." She commented.

- Draksis  and Alastor - Raiden's villa - Both accompanying their respective rulers/friends -

Draksis and Alastor muttered the same thing in a very low tone of voice the moment Midnea asked to rest. Only in different voices, silent enough only they could really hear. The words in question was, "Annoying and Lazy" Which would sound highly comical, they did share the same mind when it came about Midnea.

Alastor however...he perked up and looked straight at Alderon for a second, the moment the man suggested dissolving the barrier completely, just the fact they had undone the seal was already pretty much a declaration of war with Shiva. But now dissolving the barrier would make them targets from the whole world....Alastor stood silent. As Did Draksis as they both accompanied their rulers side by side. Like a true guard, and trusted friend.

- Typhon and Mikahil - Bugman and Witcher, side by side -

"Well screw you too then." Typhon replied to Jimba's shout. As the Gel had little overall effect on the man's magic, this was troublesome, although it did cause mild damage to Jimba's arms, it was not nearly enough. Extending his arm blades. narrowly avoiding to the side with his life, and body intact. Typhon was not ready for the second blast.

But Mikhail was, rolling on front of Typhon and gesturing a magic sign with his hand, 'Aard' As Mikhail launched a telekinetic wave of energy as Jimba launched the blasting spell, the spell was effective in dissipating the blast to the area behind him because of the heat and power. Burning some trees behind them though, but they were overall unscathed. Mikhail wasted no time, immediately throwing a flash bomb at Jimba, a bomb by the name of samum, very useful at blinding monsters and any other beings with eyes alike. As Typhon jumped over Mikhail the moment the bomb exploded, having stood behind the Witcher as the bomb exploded made it so that Typhon was not blinded, Typhon lunged straight at Jimba, wheter the being was blinded, dazed, or not. Typhon's combo was quick, two slashes with his arm and a kick, which would throw him backward a safe distance away from Jimba should it work.

Typhon had not the time to interact with the others who had appeared, however.

- Henry - The Dreadnaught - Outskirts alongside Vark -

"Oh for god's sake." Henry spoke  under his breath, clearly annoyied, shrugging as he sighed as well. Undoin the cloak around him, revealing his armor and sword to Vark, and his face in full splendor as well. He looked at Vark with a normal look. 'Least he bought the ruse' He thought to himself.

"Honestly, im not much more of a knight now anyway. But I digress. You do not look like evil yourself, what with your manners to not attack me on sight and to actualy speak to me normaly like a human being, but also the fact no common bandit would run around with three e'ffing swords on him at all times. And im sure you're not overcompensating for something..." Henry spoke with a small smirk near the end, as his tone remained neutral.

"But it looks like you want to pick a fight...So be it. No regrets on your end then." Henry spoke, slowly unsheating his longsword, which was only a few inches higher than his entire arm, it was a mix of a greatsword and a common straight sword after all. Damn effective.

Holding it with one hand, with the blade itself resting on his shoulder. "Alright then 'evil' come at me!" Henry spoke, smiling a bit. "To quote a friend I know would say that." Henry joked, as he allowed Vark the first move. Ready for the man's attack.

Midnea: Raiden's Villa - Kingdom of Mystras

As ruler Raiden revealed himself to the king's group Midnea saw his eyes, eyeing each individual who was standing before him. Midnea said nothing as Raiden expressed a welcoming greeting & offering them all to stay for a grand feast, along with a soiree & rooms to stay the night in to sweeten the offer. This offer Raiden was giving sounded easy on the ears to Midnea & she didn't mind having the chance to gain more attention from her king again, but. Midnea knew the fact that Raiden is aware that she isn't meant to be here, within the Overworld after her sentence to the world below. Knowing this, Midnea was well aware of how to go about her situation. After some words were exchanged between lord Raiden & king Alderon, Midnea could see her king's joy which caused her to feel slightly glad but annoyed that he's going to be talking more with Raiden later. But of course Midnea would be next to him during this discussion, overhearing & giving advice to him on any & all matters should he ask for it. Midnea then thought she heard someones stomach growling but paid no mind of it, instead Midnea looked over to both Soran & Alastor. "Hmm... such opposing colors, but I feel a 3rd." thought Midnea for a moment as Raiden then asked if any would join him & Alderon on a grand tour.

"Please allow me to rest here for a while my king? the travels have been rather much for me. But please don't let this hold you back from enjoying yourself my king." said Midnea as she then sat on a red cushioned chair, crossing her leg over the other & resting her left cheek in her left hand while her arm rests on her leg. "Also this knight in red will be accompanying you too my king." said Midnea as the knight in red stood forth, ready to follow the king.

- Lord Raiden and Raleigh Marin, currently within a tour of Raiden's villa -

Raiden glanced back at Midnea, making a face that revealed his annoyance with her.  Not only was she being Midnea, but also was she getting too comfortable in his establishment.  Whatever warmth and friendliness he issued was not directed at her, but she was taking full advantage of his hospitality.  However, he could make use of this.  In a room with a red carpet and a red armchair, blood would not be too noticeable.  He cracked a grin at the thought as he turned.

"This way, my friends.  A number of treats await you, I assure you," he voiced at the start of the tour, leading the way.

Raleigh grimaced at the witch, in silent agreement with the others that Midnea had more than enough rest.  Her thoughts trailed to the captain's cabin of the ship.  Maybe she was intending to do the same thing, monologue with herself or talk with hidden individuals.  The former she could be understanding of -- Raleigh found herself talking with herself sometimes -- but if for any instance she was in league with someone that could prove dangerous or even disastrous.  She shook her head.  Listen to her, her being so overly cautious of a simple witch.  Or was her concerns not cautious enough?

Regardless of her fears and ponderings, she walked the rest of the group near the tail end, allowing Midnea to be alone for now.  Someone had to keep an eye on the king, and she did not at all trust that knight in red to protect his majesty.  Rather, she was suspicious that he would stab him in the back on the first opportunity on his mistress Midnea's behalf.

Solid oaken doors slammed shut behind them, and conversations were starting to sprout.  She smirked at Curvis' question especially and twirled her head around.

"Whatever food they offer, I am certain it will be great.  If the stories are true, they have had centuries to master whatever they do, and if that includes cooking we are set," she answered with a grin.  She would leave either Arthur or Raiden to answer his other question.

Raiden, however, was too occupied by Alderon's very inquisitive question, and pursed his lips, but did not turn around immediately to reveal his hesitance.  He did not expect such a question so soon, and in such mottled company, too.

"A fine question, King Alderon.  There are a small handful of ways to break the barrier soundly, with or without the queen's assent, but consequences can dwarf the benefits if done without tact and preparation.  There are other matters to consider, too, yet I intend to resolve all things without extremes."  He looked towards the royal with searching eyes and smiled, understanding a little of why he asked.  "Do not worry.  I trust you will like her perhaps a little more than myself.  She cares for her citizenry and protects the realm with novel ideals, much like you do, I'm certain.  We will discuss this matter some other time, but for now let's move onto the tour."

The villa was surprisingly large and encompassed a fair amount of land, even if the central building itself was the size of a modest manor in the land below.  The group started off ascending to the roof where they could catch a decent view of the whole of Mystras, including the resplendent natural wonder, the Exposed Caverns.

Raiden spouted a few facts about this marvel, how much time and effort was dedicated to exposing a cave to the surface, but nothing can describe its beauty.  Alabaster and limestone were exposed to the sun, brilliant and white, and natural, seemingly flat steps were carved from descending pools of water from an artesian font.  Furthermore, massive golden and milky white salt crystals could be seen on the ground closest to the mountain, littering it like a patch of shrubs.  Raiden spoke of this fondly and how its waters filled him with inspiration for construction.  If people within the group were observant enough they could see that Mystras was built in a similar manner to the pools themselves.  Five districts were surrounded by walls, descending a minute slope and trickling into each other via massive gatehouses, and Raiden's villa was above all of that like the artesian well.

Moving on, Raiden showed them a ground-level perspective of his gardens, citrus trees of every hue decorating the paths and profoundly green plants prospering within the main body of the villa's tract of land.  Raiden laid out to the group that he intends to make the world below like this, beautiful and flourishing.

Again he continued, giving a discourse regarding the house itself.  There was not much for him to say regarding it as they toured except for pointing out bathrooms, studies, selective rooms for music and quiet conversation, and the dining hall.  The construction of his house, however, was gorgeous.  Fine wood, marble, and the slight augmentation of gold trim consistently met the eye, but the rooms and their purposes were like any other manor and met equal standards, all the while being open, airy, well-lit, and lovely.

"And this concludes our tour.  I hope you have all enjoyed it," he said in finality, stopping outside the oaken doors of his favourite study, the same place he left Midnea, and giving a bow.  In the end, he had entirely forgotten about her and felt his stomach sink.  He could have given Alastor a word of slaying her and had her disappear from view.  Shame on him for not thinking about that as quickly as he did just now.  "Any further questions from any of you?"

- Typhon and Mikhail - Bugman and Witcher, side by side -

- Rufus Contralto, observing the brawl of the century in the mountains near Mystras -

Few words could describe how excited Rufus was to see such an interesting fight.  The tactics involved surprised him with their strangeness, but he could not help but be impressed.  Flash bombs?  Crude magic via sigils and magic signs?  Arm blades?  Explosive energies rawer in their destruction than any fire?  Cool! cool!! cool!!!  However, he had no idea who these people were and why they fought.  No fruitful conversation was able to be heard, so he attempted to get a little closer.

A wispy magic trail still slipped behind him as he edged behind another tree, but seeing Elia out of the corner of his vision startled him enough for him to cease his forward movement and rush behind cover.  Waiting a little while in order to gauge if they saw him or not, he glanced over to her thereafter and silently mouthed "You are fast."

((I'll find someplace for you, Jari, I just know it, but today is not the day to do so.))

Rabiyu - City of Mystras - Flowering Hyssop

Rabiyu was about to agree with the other elf, but the sudden appearence of the mysterious trio made it quite difficult to do it. Apparently they thought that Yevgeni was the Prince, something that, obviously, was not true. It came to reason that those three were not from the city, not even from the same world, if Rabiyu's hunch was right. She watched for a moment as Yevgeni began to play a little with the small group, not before listening and watching Alicia leave. The High Elf finished the rest of her food while pondering whether follow Alicia or remain with Yevgeni. Yev was right about one thing, the Queen and the failure to the continent, not that she had any sympathy for some of the royals or nobles, not even back at home.

Unknown point in time - Location: Northern Continent - Imperial City of Exire
There was an audience between the King-emperor, Asura, his wife, Queen-empress Leviathan, and their glaives. One of them to be exact. A Glaive of elvish descent, Lady Ethiriel of the Silva Deae, and one of the royal Chancellors. The topic? a young elvish girl by the name of Eliltari who was found by said glaive. The reason for such an audience was the disposal of said girl.
"The reason I give for this," the Chancellor said coldly while looking at Eliltari, "is that she is part of the Stranded, the Dark Elves, Milord. She is dangerous to everyone in this room."
King Asura looked at the girl sitting below his throne, the girl had a gloomy looking, looked almost starved and barely said a word, if any, since they arrived. He could sense powerful magic coming from the kid, and while the words of the Chancellor were true, to kill a child was something that was not tolerated by him or his wife. He then looked at the elvish woman and waved his hand.
"My liege, this kid was found in the frozen wastelands, alone and barely alive," Ethiriel said flatly, "She was brought back to be healed and to be able to eat. The Chancellor is judging her for being part of our Dark siblings, and yet there is nothing she can do about it. I request that she may be put in my care, we shall take care of her."
Asura looked at Leviathan who, without saying anything, simply noded and waved her hand.
"It will be done," The King-emperor said, "She will be put under your custody for the time being, Ethiriel."
At this the Chancellor objected, but it fell on deaf ears, and, in one last attempt, he lunged towards the young one with his sword raised, only to be stopped at the last moment by the older Elf's blade sticking out of his chest. Both King and Queen were surprised by the fact that Ethiriel was not the one to attack. The source came for the young girl sitting in the middle of the room, her eyes devoid of emotions, who, thanks to her magical ability, used the sword of the older elf against the Chancellor.
"You supposed nobles are the same," she said quietly at the Chancellor in front of her, "and that's why you will disappear."
Without any sign, runes appeared on the Chancellor's body before he slowly disintegrated into fine powder in front of everyone's eyes. For a couple of minutes everyone stared at the youngest elf in the room, the one who, without any control of her magic, killed one of the Chancellors of the King. The last thing Eliltari felt and saw that day was the arms of Ethiriel being wrapped around her and her voice telling her that everything would be fine.

At the end, Rabiyu decided to remain with Yevgeni instead of following Alicia. She didn't doubted his abilities, but better safe than sorry.
"Milord," she said calmly and emotionlessly, "If I may? These people do not look like spies, not that anyone would be able to get near you while I am at your side."
The High Elf slowly looked at the trio, her eyes hiding a hint of killer intent to keep the game of Yevgeni going forwards.
"Unless you decided to let them come to you, of course."
Rabiyu then drank the rest of her water, before intertwining her fingers and lay motionless, waiting for the group to explain themselves. She did not had any intention of harming them, but if Yevgeni wanted to play, who was she to not allow him a little bit of fun.

(Will post for the Sibling either tomorrow or the next day, maybe. Wil be a little busy with work.)

-Helios - With Gel & the siblings - Avarice-
Helios smiled. He honestly felt...glad. That was the best way he could describe it. He despised this world. He had come to despise humans. Yet, he didn't want to leave those he had come to trust behind. He wanted to make sure that he could do all he could for them. To help them. To maybe repay the debt. Because damn, the chances of anyone coming for him were nonexistent, and yet these humans, not even of his own kind had saved him in what his own kind had left him behind. He...He had to help out. Even in small ways. He had done nothing but to actually be a burden to those experimented soldiers. Had he never come down here they never would have been experimented...regardless the only thing he could do was help on forward. "I would be more than happy to bring you personally to the Overworld!" Helios began, only to pause, biting his lip slightly. One factor remained if he ever returned to the Overworld; her majesty the Queen. She was a kind woman...but as all rulers, strict and with rules. By stepping down into this world, he was banished from the world above. If he were to show up, heavens knows what kind of punishment the Queen could possibly have if she wasn't feeling merciful? Well, the Overworld was a big place, she wouldn't be able to just detect him if he sneaked in...right? Well, that was something he would worry about later. Way later. He was too joyful. Too happy. And darn, he didn't know how else to repay the few people who have been kind to him after what he went through, and he didn't know how long it would last. "Well...we have much to wait until Henry arrives, when he does. We have time to leisure around or simply explore." Helios chuckled, looking over at Gel. "Then again, you were on your way to Avarice too, no? If you have business to do, we can help you with it."

-Arthur - Taking a tour around Raiden's villa-
Arthur followed close behind the King and Draksis, but far away enough to not interrupt their personal space. He couldn't help it. They looked so cool! Such magnificence, even in the face of a new world, they kept their composure and grace. Draksis and Alastor looked to be the perfect example of knights, each standing next to their respective King...Arthur could only aspire to one day become like them. He heard Curvis' question about the food, which only made Arthur curious too. He turned back to look at him and the rest of the companions, smiling. "Do you think they have the same fruits and vegetables as us, or wholly different?" Arthur asked with a smile. He paused, humming as he looked up at Curvis. "Do you think we will see native creatures soon?! Like Griffins from the Fairy Tale books?!" Arthur asked, taking opportunity to glance around and enjoy the tour as he could. As scary as it was...he really wanted to see the creatures too! Did they kept similar creatures like dogs and cats as pets, or maybe something much more exotic and strange than the ones they were used to? They seemed so similar to humans...yet they were equally full of mystery. And darn it, he absorbed every piece of information that his majesty spoke. He had to keep himself from just reaching out with grasping hands, much like a child in a museum. When his majesty asked if they had questions, Arthur couldn't help himself. "I-!" Arthur then quickly stopped, quickly bowing his head. "If I may ask, my lord." Arthur corrected himself, his eyes glistening with curiosity and awe. "Is it true that the creatures of this world are as marvelous as our fairy tales suggests?...and are they a common sight?"

~Aqua: Near the Brawl in the Mountains Near Mystras~

Aqua watched Elia speed off toward some unknown fight off in the distance. Now normally Aqua would have followed her friend, however, she had to think about Bherna. She couldn't just leave her alone one way or another. She wasn't worried that Bherna couldn't fight. Aqua just wasn't sure if she could keep her or anyone else for that matter safe. She'd just have to ask the girl. "Bherna do you want to follow Elia and possibly get into a fight or not? I don't want you to feel forced one way or the other after all. I couldn't just leave you alone either. So you'll make the choice for both of us." She asked and then informed.
