- Henry - The Dreadnaught - Dueling Vark -

"Or...you're just slow, those others were just slower" Henry taunted Vark replying to the man's small compliment. Seeing Vark preparing something prompted Henry to stab his sword onto the ground as he waited for the man's move. Which was a dash and a zig zag dash that allowed him to land behind Henry, something Henry followed quite easily, just pretending not to move. Henry simply moved his head as he waited for the attack, which was. Of course, named.

As Vark slashed Henry's right hip Henry blocked the blow with his steel gauntlet on his right arm. However when the secondary attack came, Henry smirked.

"Time for my own move!" Henry spoke with a smirk as he followed Vark's blade's slash, and grabbed it with his left hand. His Iron grip allowing him to lock the blade in place. "I call it, Grab the jackass's blade". Henry spoke, "And punch the firetrucker in the gut!" Henry spoke as he thrusted his free hand forward, aiming a powerful punch to Vark's gut, taking advantage of the blade tightly held in Henry's right hand. Should the attack work,Vark would feel the great impact of Henry's much greater strenght, regardless of what would happen to Vark during that, however, Henry would casualy throw the man's sword back to him. It was time for Henry to have some fun. And he did not like his enemy one weapon short.

- Alastor and Draksis - At the feast -

For most of the time in the feast Alastor and Draksis were speaking with one another, bringing up some small chatter and trading some knowledge.

"You are rather wise...for a human" Alastor spoke casualy,

"For someone who lives only a maximum of a hundred years I guess so." Draksis replied with a smirk.

"Im sure you have many war tales to tell." Alastor spoke

"Im sure you have your fair share as well...more than mine." Draksis commented drily.

"True, but that will be left for another time. We have to make sure nothing happens to the guests." ALastor spoke keeping an eye out, should anything happen.

"Aye." Draksis replied as he took a sip of some wine.

- Alicia - The Violet Storm - Alongside Jynn -

"Monster hunting huh?" Alicia commented with a smile. "What a coincidence, I did my fair share of monster hunting on my travels, although most of them were in a group, we hunted great many things, that posse of mine" Alicia spoke a bit about her monster hunting days.

"We should compare feats some time" She suggested with a smirk. getting serious however, as Jynn gave her the orders to not stir up trouble she simply nodded, and prepared herself for the worst.

- Maxis - The Glorious Armor - With Shiva and Eclaire -

"Im sure there is no trouble if you mean that." Maxis spoke to Eclaire, trying to at least lighten up that shy and timid mood. Before he turned to Shiva, receiving her silent message, they would certainly have to speak of this another time, and he would do so willingly. For what little time he had in the world, he would rather be at his mistress's side.

There was not much for him to do at that moment, he figured Eclaire was of no trouble for SHiva, on the contrary in fact. "If you'l excuse me my dear queen, I need to fing Ivany, no doubt she's doing her best producing what I asked." Maxis spoke with a bow, before leaving the room, leaving Eclaire and Shiva alone. On his way out, he gave Eclaire a playful tap on her shoulder.

Truly the greatest Wing man came not in flesh, but in spirit, and that armor was pure spirit.

--Queen Shiva -- Kilkis Seres--

"Then I suppose no harm is done," said Shiva simply after listening to Eclaire's confession.  "You were simply curious; I can understand that.  Though next time I would sort of hope that you could . . . knock."

At least Eclaire hadn't overheard their conversation.  That would've been embarrassing as well as dangerous.  She trusted Eclaire and felt that she could easily connect with the young woman, though as queen she had always been taught to be guarded, even with those whom she trusted.  The greatest of deceivers could appear trustworthy, and who really knew where Eclaire had come from.  Maxis had seemed to calm down some, or at least not seeming as bloodthirsty as he once had.  He excused himself as he began to leave the room.

"Goodbye, Maxis, and thank you," she said softly, though she wasn't entirely certain that the possessed armor was able to hear her before closing the door.  A part of her feared that would be the last time she ever saw him.  Only time and a series of events would tell.   Shiva was now left alone with Eclaire, who seemed frail and broken, not entirely different from how she felt herself.  Her hands slid from Eclaire's hands to her forearms, gripping them firmly as a soft smile played on her lips.

"How about we go for a little walk in the garden, you and I?  I need to find my courier to deliver a letter for me anyway, and I figure both the lovely sights and fresh air might do us both some good this evening.  Maybe I can give you a few pointers on how to walk in those heels."  A soft chuckle escaped the queen at her last statement, releasing Eclaire as she began to pull open the door.  "What do you say?  Will you join me?"

--Everyth Castanova -- In the sewers--

The dark-haired mage caught the armored jacket in her hands and admired it.  The gesture was very kind, though she knew what they were about to go through would just mess the poor jacket up.  Effie had also offered her a claw to use, though Everyth merely flipped it over in her hands with a raised brow, not even sure how to use the thing if she had wanted to.  "I appreciate it, Effie, thank you," she responded without even the slightest complaint.  She wasn't sure if she could use either, but it was far better than being under-dressed and fully unarmed.

As the sewers introduced themselves to the trio the princess managed to lose consciousness, causing Everyth to gasp and reach out toward her.  Effie caught on to her first, however, the woman explaining the likely reason that Visco had managed to lose consciousness.  "Oh, the poor dear," was Everyth's response, pouting her lips in sympathy as she further listened to Effie's concerns.  "And fear not, for the barrier I cast will prevent those bad Helvadorians from being on our tail, or at least for a while.  I doubt any of them have the ability to break through anytime soon."

And now it was time for the nasty part.  Everyth drew in a regretful breath as she stepped down further into the sewers, treading until she was waist-deep in the foul-smelling fluids.  "I am seriously going to be soaking up some hot springs after this nasty endeavor," Everyth murmured bitterly, slowly moving forward in the muck.  Below her feet she could feel slimy and mushy objects; she didn't dare think about what it could possibly be.  She shot a glance back over her shoulder at Effie.  "This should lead us to the outskirts of Sondon, and then from there I'm not sure where we'll flee.  We should get the princess away from Sondon as far as possible.  Do you have any suggestions on where she could stay safely and comfortably?"

--Yevgeni Malachite -- Flowering Hyssop--

The blond elf nodded in agreement.  "They are indeed interesting, and yet they hold a great deal of promise.  I will regard them highly should they actually succeed in acquiring the weapon that I sent them after.  Maybe humans are more capable than I once gave them credit for."

Taking a swig of water, Yev contemplated Rabiyu's words of concern before finally emitting a bitter sigh.  "Ah, yes, their safety.  Very well.  If you will, I would propose that we secretly take up the rear and infiltrate the villa.  I dare not intrude upon the meeting between His Majesty and Lord Raiden, but we can remain as support should things take a sour turn southward.  Jynn expressed his desire to do this himself, and I feel that, respectfully, I must allow him to do so.  If I were to directly interfere it would be an action against his honor, wouldn't you agree, Lady Elliltari?"

And then, of course, the wise elf expressed her curiosity in the weapon.  He didn't know how to best explain this to her so that she would understand his plight, but he was going to do his best.  He stretched his hands out on the table.  "Well, you see, such a weapon can--"

"ARE YOU HERE PRINCE JYNN?!"

A pained sigh escaped Yev as he closed his eyes.  Of course, more company, but at least this spared him from a very difficult explanation that he owed to his friend.  His emerald eyes followed Baxter as he made his way over to their table, the young fey seeming quite passionate about his endeavors as he expressed his desire for the lamp that Rabiyu coveted.  His lips were pressed into a thin line as Rabiyu chided Baxter, ordering him to sit and treating him like a child.  Perhaps it was just the elven way, but Yevgeni couldn't help but find himself amused by the situation.  "I agree with Elliltari here," he spoke at last, his eyes still lingering upon Baxter.  "I feel that you are working independently and disobeying orders from the prince, something that is punishable by death in the royal court.  I should hope you have a very good reason for doing so, else it will not bode well for you."

He relaxed in his seat, placing an arm along the back of his chair.  This should be very interesting to watch play out.  He was quite intrigued to hear what Baxter had to say.

--Elia Cabret -- Mystras Mountain Range--

The roar that came from Jimba after her interference certainly caught the young fairy by surprise.  Yet even still, she kept a stiff upper lip and her expression remained fixated.  "And what crimes has he committed?" she asked firmly, her voice smooth and calm despite looking potential death straight in the face.  "Has it been ordained by the royal court that this Cyph be punished?  He looks innocent and scared, if you ask me, and unless you have a very good reason for fighting him I'm afraid that you'll have to face all of us as well."

She did hesitate to get involved, especially since she was putting hers and everyone else's lives on the line, but she couldn't stand injustice.  It greatly surprised her, however, when Rufus the genie stepped up to the plate, threatening to swiftly take Jimba's life if he didn't cease his assault.  Did he have such power to follow through with his threat?  Maybe, though it certainly held Elia enraptured and hopeful that this all could end peacefully.

--Curvis Sourati and Alderon Niles -- Feast within Raiden's Villa--

Much to Curvis' pleasure, Raleigh seemed quite pleased by his bearing of breadsticks.  Was that even a slight blush he'd detected under napkin?  He wasn't sure, and if it had been present it had only lasted a second, for it was gone when he'd glanced at her again.  What he did find, however, was a lobster being presented to him in a basket.  A . . . curious gift, and he wasn't quite sure whether to eat it here or save it for later, but he was gracious for the gesture nonetheless, and wished to express it to her.

"Thank you very much, milady," he said, offering her a slight bow as he snatched her hand to kiss it.  "Though I must apologize if I require you to teach me how to eat shellfish.  I have never once had the luxury of doing so, and I fear that I will make quite the sight here at the table of Fey and men alike should I attempt it here on my own."

Next came her following question, one which reddened Curvis' own cheeks.  "Well, what would you say if I told you that a bit of both has brought me to your side?  You are quite beautiful, Lady Raleigh, and I do thirst for more of your epic tales of adventure and plunder.  Besides that, I also crave to know more about you.  You are known as the dangerous and lethal Raleigh, a mercenary, an adventurer, and yet I also know that you are a person.  Perhaps you could indulge this foolish knight in my yearnings for knowledge, even if just a little?"

He stole a glance back at Arthur, who had earlier seemed approving of his taking breadsticks to start up a conversation with his love interest.  Now, however, his knight-friend was gone, and Curvis could only wonder where he'd disappeared to.

On the other end of the table the reptilian woman, Lorleanna, rubbed her chin ruefully, shooting a glare in the direction of Midnea after being shooed from the meal that was proffered to her.  "Who invited you to this banquet, witch?" she snapped, causing silence to fall upon the servants and some of the guests nearby.  Even the ugly blue mage fey, who had continuously been flirting with Soren and offering him personalized treats, fell silent and stared.  Alderon watched the two women with hardened eyes.  How did he address this situation?  It was difficult because it was not his land and he did not wish to offend either party, but being a king and a ruler for many years he couldn't simply stand and watch this fight progress.

"That will be quite enough, ladies," he spoke at last.  "My dear Midnea, surely your actions were much uncalled for, and I would expect no less than an apology from a woman of your nobleness and nature.  And as for you"--he glared daggers upon the reptilian fey, who glared at him with just as much ferocity--"such name-calling from someone of rank as yourself reflects poorly upon Lord Raiden's court.  Surely you know this."

"I serve Lord Raiden humbly and accept his requests," she said coldly.  "But I am not required to bow down to that woman like a dog and be thrust in the dirt for her.  I will not tolerate it, and my Lord will not either."  Finally she stepped back, nostrils flared as she glared at Midnea.  "I have no further business here.  Enjoy my meal, while you can."

-Eclaire - Thankfully not in trouble, Kilkis Seres-

Eclaire still blushed, moreso out of shame. "I...I wasn't planning on entering...th-then my ankle went sideways, the door gave way..." she trailed off as Shiva gripped her forearms. She quieted down and listened. The Valkyrie-Succubus nodded. "I would be honored to accompany you...a....and appreciate every pointer you can offer." She seemed to be steady, but she still wobbled a bit. The inability to use her heels to maintain balance was...well, quite confusing. She wondered at first if they actually were torture instruments misplaced, somehow, but with how Shiva spoke...

Nope. People actually subjected themselves to this. Eclaire couldn't fathom why anyone would wear these and not a good pair of combat boots. You can't knock down a door with these! And you never knew when you'd have to, too! Eclaire shook her head briefly, banishing her wandering thoughts. She was accompanying the Queen. She had to try and look both worthy of accompanying her, and be on the lookout for threats.

At the very least...she could fight with the heels. No where to put weapons.

Absurd.

-Arthur - Lord Raiden's Villa - Wondering around the halls-
Arthur peeked out every corner before walking around it. There were three rules given to them, and none of them involved not exploring the estate. He was much to full to continue to remain at the feast. The least he could do was walk around and explore more of the beautiful estate. Part of him tried to get ideas of what he could get as a present for Visco once they decide to return to the world below. Maybe a painting? Nah, he doubted her had that kind of money on him to buy something like that. Maybe they would walk by a market and he could get her a local souvenir!...whatever it was. Maybe a bouquet of local flowers too...though he wondered if they would last the ride back to the castle. It wouldn't be very romantic to bring dead flowers. Arthur stopped as he heard voices. He took a peek around the corner. There was his lordship, Lord Raiden, as he was with a reptile lady and had a glass of wine in his hands...though he didn't seem like he wanted to drink it. He knew his best judgement that it was wrong to just, you know, eavesdrop. But then again, it wasn't exactly that bad...he was just curious of the ever so magical lord.

-Helios - Avarice - The siblings and Gel-

Helios sighed. They agreed, at least. They had come this far...but to leave Henry behind to pick up the pieces while they flew away would be unorthodox and just plain out mean. "I'll provide transport once more, then. You can decide whether you want air or ground this time. I wouldn't want to make any of your uncomfortable, seeing how you reacted, Aura." Helios said as he quickly began to think up of different creatures. For both air and ground a Manticore could provide what they needed, and enough space. He turned to Gel again. "Would you like to join us in our new mission to retrieve Henry? It might actually end up dangerous, and we will only be looking by from where we last left him and any remaining memory of his scent from when I smelled him in the dungeon but...it should be fun." Helios asked Gel. In a personal matter, he wanted to catch a glimpse of the kingdom of Sondon falling into ruin...he wanted to think that it was karma making it clear that no bad deed goes unpunished. Oh the look on Alderon's face once he realizes what happened would be priceless.

-Morana - Mystras Mountain Range - Watching Jimba's fight-

Morana could only blink in amusement at the fight. By all means, Jimba was...unreasonable and nothing but a loose firecracker with a tad bit more bark than bite. She hid in the shadows, watching. By one, she waited to see if her scent alone, scent of death and decay would cause any disturbance, but so far it would seem that the smoke and fire from so many explosions caused by Jimba clouded it rather well. She should consider that as a remedy for it next time. She waited patiently for Jimba to casually step on a specific spot. One where a single acorn was buried beneath the earth, the dirt protecting it from the current explosions. She extended her hand. "Let's see you fly, Jimba." Morana hummed, and with that she advanced the acorn's time and life, and like that, a tree erupted from beneath Jimba. Hopefully this could give  a chance for a counter attack...if they weren't equally surprised about the tree.

- Typhon and Mikhail - Fighting off jimba -

"I'd wager the crime is for simply existing." Mikhail sarcasticaly remarked as he and Typhon scrambled to dodge the white dots, they couldn't be in the entire area, else it would hit Jimba as well. Typhon's enhanced strenght would slow him down a bit, much to the dismay of the Insect warrior. Typhon had a lot on his mind at the moment, not only was he suddenly attacked by this hulking mass of a man, but also he found some people genuinely trying to help him out, instead of trying to kill him on the spot.

Mikhail began conjuring, makinga gesture wave with his left hand, pointing at Jimba, "Axii" Mikhail muttered as a small white trail of magic left his hand and flew extremely quickly towards Jimba's head, it was no attack, not. It was a small confusion spell, with the intent of stunning him long enough for Typhon to attack. Something which Typhon was ready to comply.

However, mayber in an act of nature itself, or some other outside interference...probably the latter, Typhon had begun to smell something...Mikhail too, A giant tree sprouted from the ground below Jimba, forcing the giant upwards, now even if the stun from Mikhail hadn't worked, Typhon was already going for the attack. Using his still enhanced agility Typhon lunged the the tree that Morana created, taking advantage of it throwing Jimba upwards, jumping on it, latching his right feet onto the tree like an insect who could climb walls, he lunged himself upwards at Jimba. Quickly catching up in height, as Typhon quickly slammed his arms down toward's Jimba, in an attempt to throw jimba to the ground. The attack was fast enough for it to be hard to block, but not impossible.

Now all Typhon had to worry about was his landing, eh, not too much trouble.

(Yay team attacks).

Aeternum Siblings, Helios and Gel - City of Avarice
The younger Aeternum was looking at the ground, while the older one was patting her back.
"I do know that you are afraid, Sis," he said, "but not even you can deny that flying would be the quickest method, and we don't have a lot of time in our hands right now."
Aura slowly nodded, Aurion was right, they couldn't afford to waste time, not while Henry could be in the middle of a war.
"I know...I know," she said, "I just need a moment and I will be ready."
With that Aura went to sit on a nearby bench. Aurion looked at Helios and nodded.
"Then air it is for us," he said while turning his head towards Gel, "And what is your choice? Would you come with us or would you rather stay?"

Jynn Venas-At Raiden's Villa with Alicia

As the two arrived at the front door, Jynn could feel slight vibrations coming from the villa. He leans towards the door and can hear faint noises from inside. He then puts his ear on the door and hears two beings talking to one another. What they were saying was beyond his comprehension for now. Someone was right behind the door. As not to seem suspicious, Jynn regains his posture. He then faces Alicia. "I know you're probably sick of hearing this, but remember, act natural." As he lifts his knuckles up to knock, he pauses and hears a voice whispering to him. "Jynn, this is your first step." He was fazed out for a second. Who was that? He looks around to find the source, but to no avail. It was only him and Alicia. He must be hearing things. He then looks back to the door. "Alright....." He then knocks on the door.

Rabiyu - City of Mystras - Flowering Hyssop

"So you say you take the safety of YOUR Ruler very seriously," Rabiyu said to Baxter, her face rather calm, "And yet here you are, making a scene around the citizens of Mystras."
The High Elf was not even impressed by the young fey's display, nor his slightly transformation, no, she had been in the presence of a true dragon before, and this was just something to scare children in her book. Few of the patrons were looking over their way, that could not be denied.
"Surely you know that you can't take what you want from me, right?" She said, her tone completely neutral, "No matter if you ask a third, or a fourth time, it simply won't happen. I do not see the necessity of giving you what is mine, unless, of course, you could get the total worth of the royal vaults, which I doubt you could."
Rabiyu was joking, but the joke was mostly for herself, she knew that the young fey would try to get the lamp, but she was not worried about it. She was more interested on infiltrating into Raiden's Villa instead on relaying on a wish, or Baxter, for that matter.
"I would suggest that you calm yourself, take some time to think about the consequences of what your actions would cause if you just went running for the Prince," Rabiyu said, "perhaps it would do more harm than good. And you do not want to put the Crown Prince of Kilkes Seres in harm's way, correct? That could mean really serious problems for you, from the Royal Court AND the Queen herself."
With those words Rabiyu finished her conversation with Baxter, the lamp would remain with her, even in the event of a backlash from the young fey. She then looked at her fellow elf.
"The conversation is over, Milord, and yet this child did not explain his reasons, except for the protection of the Prince being taken very seriously," she said to Yevgeni, "Perhaps it would be wise to reasume our way. The Prince and Alicia should be arriving at Lord Raiden's Villa by now. The question is, should we take the child with us? He is an unpredictable variable, one that could cost us the chances of infiltrating if all he does is running away to be at the Prince's side instead of waiting for the right moment."

--Queen Shiva -- Kilkis Seres--

"Oh, I know, dear; I was teasing you."  Shiva offered a soft smile to Eclaire once both were standing, still holding on to one of Eclaire's arms to help maintain her balance.  "I am glad you didn't end up twisting your ankle.  While heels are a fashion statement they are not the most convenient of footwear, nor the safest.  Should you feel more comfortable in something else, even flats, I think you would look quite well.  You are tall enough that flats would compliment you nicely."

With that Shiva took the lead, arm locked with the rose-haired young woman, giving quick pointers occasionally or pausing so that Eclaire could straighten herself if need be.  If things were different she would've loved to be in Eclaire's company.  It would've brought her great pleasure to promote her highly in court, perhaps even name her as her personal retainer, but alas time did not permit them to form the closeness that such a relationship would require.  All that Shiva could hope to instill in the young woman was belief in herself, and provide her with enough drive and encouragement to continue moving forward.  How to say this without saying it, however, was Shiva's main concern.

"How are you enjoying the kingdom?" Shiva asked once they finally stepped foot outside in the garden, evergreens towering over them.  The sky was dark and cloudless, twinkling stars glinting overhead.  A full moon was visible as well, providing a fair amount of light for the two fey.  Around them the gardens were rather barren of people, but not plants in the slightest.  Flowers of an incredible variety hung on vines, woven around an elaborate fence and complimenting the flowers rooted on the grounds.  Shiva led Eclaire further into the garden, where they found a water fountain.  Small orbs of light surrounded the water fountain, and it wouldn't be without much inspection that one would find tiny pixies being the source.

The queen took a seat along the marble siding of the water fountain, patting alongside her in invitation for Eclaire to join if she so wished.  For the first time in a while the woman's age shone through her exterior.  Dark circles were present under her eyes, soft wrinkles visible around them.  "There is something that I would like to discuss with you, though I know that it is probably not appropriate given the circumstances.  You hardly know me, and I don't wish to impede upon your own dreams and goals.  However, you have so much purpose and potential, Eclaire.  You said that you wish to protect, yet you have failed in the past?  How would you like your goal to be protecting once again?  While this gown and pair of heels are beautiful on you, I can tell that this isn't you at all."

Shiva extended her arm, to which a snowy white owl perched upon.  Its feathers were fluffy and beautiful, its eyes a deep amber.  She attached her letter upon the owl's leg and stroked it several times before sending it on its way.  Yes, this very letter would seal her fate, one way or another.

--Everyth Castanova -- Sondon Sewers--

Effie's proposition was certain one that seemed reasonable.  Everyth nodded in response.  "That sounds like a terrific place to take the princess.  Let us take her there, and then we can see about returning to Sondon."

The state of the kingdom was tragic; she couldn't believe that their kingdom was falling, and so quickly to the hands of Helvadoria.  "I think they have been planning this attack for quite some time," Everyth muttered bitterly.  "They probably had a spy learn of the Phoenix and that King Alderon would be away.  It is surprising that they managed to infiltrate so quickly without much of a rise from our men, however.  I still do not know how that happened."

The three women traversed the sewers as timely as possible, though the waters that they were in were quite cold.  They were, however, still except for their own movement, so they did not have to fight against the flow, at the very least.  Once they were nearing the mouth of the sewers Everyth was both sore, sticky, and rather cold.  She placed a hand on the princess's exposed hand, hoping to get a read on her temperature.  "Hmm, we need to get her warm soon," Everyth managed, her own teeth chattering between words.

The rushing of water could be heard, and a faint light could be seen before them.  As they approached they would find the water rushing out of the mouth of the sewer system, splashing into a large body of water below.  The water was probably not any more pleasant there, in temperature or cleanliness, but at least it was out in the open, and at least they had managed to escape the castle.  Everyth caught Effie's gaze and nodded.  She leapt down gracefully, diving into the water below with only the faintest trace of a splash.  After several moments her head rose above water, her eyes following Effie's every move from above.  She sincerely hoped that they would manage to pull this stunt off.  It would be one thing for King Alderon to learn of his kingdom being infiltrated, but it would be another to learn of his dear daughter's kidnapping or, worse, death.

----

Meanwhile in the heart of the Kingdom of Sondon many lives were being lost.  By this time the majority of the castle had been alerted of the attack, and the Sondonian knights were bringing out all the works, hoping to set Helvadoria back at least slightly.  And slightly they had; the Helvadorian troops were decreasing in number, and more were fighting with grave injuries that set them at a massive disadvantage.

The duke was not particularly amused by the situation.  He stood in the foyer, watching the scene with a hand on his hip, his silver bloodstained sword in the other.  No, this was not how he had preferred the situation to roll, but he would accept the victory nonetheless.  Even if they walked away now the damage had been done, the scar placed upon Sondon that King Alderon would have to witness upon his return.  A message from Helvadoria, stating that they would not have any more of Sondon's nonsense no matter how well intended.  All that the duke required now was the princess, and he and his men would be ready to return home.

Not too far away he saw the slaughtering of more Sondonian men, though not to the hands of any soldier that he recalled recruiting upon the mission.  No, this woman was significantly different, different from any that he had ever seen.  The duke narrowed his eyes, watching Pracia as she left the scene, retreating to deeper portions of the palace.  Her weapon of choice was certainly unique; certainly not something seen in Helvadorian lands, nor on any battlefield that the duke had embarked.  Quite foolishly, the duke decided to follow her, stating in a loud drawl behind her back.  "I do believe that you were uninvited to this party, but nonetheless you have my thanks.  It would seem that we are not the only ones fed up with the way King Alderon runs things around here."

--Yevgeni Malachite -- Flowering Hyssop--

The tavern was now in a frantic frenzy.  Some had the decency to only stare at the developed scene, but others had screamed and fled the building.  Even their redheaded kitsune waiter was in a state of panic upon seeing Baxter's transformed state.  His ears perked upright, his nose twitching, before he transformed into a fox fully and slipped away.  What cowardly behavior, Yevgeni thought to himself as he watched their friend flee for his safety, before turning his attention back toward Baxter.  "Really, Baxter, you are being irrational.  You expect to save your prince by killing us, making way with some lamp that may or may not grant what you desire?  If you're so worried I'd suggest you go after him yourself and lend a helping hand.  Summoning a genie to do your bidding is just a fool's errand.  There is no honor in that.  And what would His Highness say to your actions, hmm?  Would he support winning his cause by sheer force, or by earning it himself?  If there's something I saw in Prince Jynn it's that he's determined to do this on his terms, on his own.  No need to shed blood and dragon tears over something you don't need."

Finally the blond elf rose from his seat, smoothing down his burgundy velvet robe as he did so.  "Yes, I agree with you, milady; let us bind him and take him with us.  It is the only way to ensure he stays out of trouble, where he belongs."  He turned to the dragon form of Baxter, his emerald eyes glittering dangerously as his gloved fingers brushed the side of his rapier at his hip.  "I would suggest that you come with us willingly . . . if you know what is good for you."

--King Alderon -- Raiden's villa in Mystras--

The confrontation between Midnea and Lorleanna certainly set Alderon at unease, his stomach no longer feeling up to the task of holding down this hearty steak that he couldn't wait to sink his teeth into.  He shook his head somberly.  "My dear, are you sure that you are quite alright?  I feel that you haven't quite been yourself since we have arrived.  Are you still tired, or perhaps something is ailing you?"  He turned a head to glance at the woman, his gray eyes holding a softness that he reserved only for Visco, Draksis, and herself.  Under the table he extended a hand to grasp hers, to which he gave a gentle squeeze.  "Let us talk after the feast, shall we?  It seems something has been preoccupying your thoughts ever since we arrived."

The king drew a sip of wine, savoring its sweet and rich flavor as he stole a glance over toward his general.  A smile managed to infiltrate his heavy frown. "Well, Draksis?  Are you accepting of our fairy friends here?"

Midnea / Baxter: Midnea - Mystras Feast - Kingdom of Mystras / Baxter - Flowering Hyssop Bar - Kingdom of Mystras

Baxter was rather stunned if not shocked that Rabiyu wouldn't give him Rufus's wishing lamp. "D-does she not trust me?..." thought Baxter has he then lowered his held out hand, Baxter could see the annoyance in her eyes when their's met. Baxter begun to think differently of Rabiyu while listening to her words, Baxter then noticed something that Rabiyu had said to him "Wait, Jynn was here!" thought Baxter slightly feeling a bit better knowing the prince had been in this very place he was in now, this meant he was getting somewhere. However when Baxter was told to sit down by the 2 feys & explain himself as to why he left the other group Baxter paused in silence & lowered his head. "Yes, I did disobey orders from the prince... & as a royal knight to our Queen & kingdom I know I'm also risking my life to our court... but! the safety of our next Ruler is something I take very seriously!" yelled Baxter as he raised his head to them both with clenched fists near his chest. Baxter then turned to look at Rabiyu again "That is why I need the lamp Rabiyu!" yelled Baxter as he then stomped a foot on the floorboards causing golden flames to cover Baxter's whole body in a brief moment of golden fire to quickly reveal Baxter in his dragon force form. Having golden dragon like eyes, golden dragon like scales all around his face, ears, & other parts of his body that were hidden by his slightly damaged armor too. "If what you said is true Rabiyu, & ruler Raiden already know of the prince's presence, then I must insist that you give me that lamp." said Baxter as he held out his hand to her again. "I won't ask a 3rd time..." said Baxter sternly while still feeling rather worried for Jynn.

Meanwhile at the feast in Mystras, Midnea was waiting for a compliment from her king about her dress when the reptilian fey Lorleanna suddenly just snapped at her for all to hear & clearly showing her annoyance with Midnea & her actions of shooing her away. Midnea narrowed a dark glare at Lorleanna from her seat, "My, my, a servant with a mouth on her. I'm surprised Raiden can tolerate a servant with such an annoying voice coming from their mouth, if it were me your tongue would be removed by now." said Midnea calmly but still showing her annoyance with Lorleanna through her words. That's when King Alderon stepped in to break them up. Midnea just glared at Lorleanna clearly not wanting or going to apologies to her in anyway. After Lorleanna spoke her agitated mind & was about to head off Midnea faintly whispered under her breath "If you won't be my dog then you'll be dog food instead..." whispered Midnea still glaring at her for a little while longer before returning to her king's attention with calm eyes. "Now where were we my king?" asked Midnea.

Meanwhile at the entrance to Raiden's villa. "Oh! but it'll only take a a mere moment my lord, surely you could spare me it." said the lizard woman holding out the silver plate further towards him while Raiden used his search magic on her. The lizard fey held no weapons on her & when Raiden asked her what was in the resa wine she slightly started stuttering her words about, "O-oh of course my lord! y-yes, yes. I'll head back to attend to our guests quickly, b-but first... w-won't give a quick taste of the wine my lord?" said the lizard woman as she then removes herself from blocking the door & walks over to Raiden's left side holding out the silver plate just in front of him. "I'm sure you have somewhere important to go or someone to see right now, so this will be the last time I ask of you my lord. Won't you please drink the wine?" asked the Lizard fey one more time holding it out for him to try.

- Lord Raiden, at the front entrance of his villa -

Raiden huffed a sigh, not exactly sure what the lizard woman's urgency was, but it was extremely suspicious that she was proffering the watered-down drink so much.  Would that not have made it worse and not better?  No, there had to be a catch, and he had one guess as to whom brought this into being, an individual that had only recently returned and desired to stir up trouble:  Midnea.

The thought of her hateful name was enough to curdle his good mood.  After finding the journal he so loved blackened in the fireplace, and with her the last known suspect within the room, he concluded that she had some sort of vendetta against him, and to try and poison him certainly would not be beneath her.  To think she would use his own subject, however, would be unforgivable, but all of this was simple skepticism at this point.  He would have to pry for answers to find the truth of the matter, one way or another.

A sound could be heard from the other side of the door, a low rumble of rapping knuckles.  Unfortunately, searching for truth would have to wait.  How he wished The Infiltrator was here.  He had the proven ability to discern fact from fiction, but he was surveying the feast.

"Milady, I am afraid that I cannot drink wine today.  I hope you will understand." Raiden answered to the lizard maid, bowing as if to show his thanks to the girl's offer.  "However, if you can get me some fresh almond milk for myself and our current guests, that would be better."

He brushed her shoulder kindly and prepared himself to open the door with a heavy breath before tugging the entrance doors open.

"Well well, it is the prince of Kilkes Seres!" he exclaimed, his eyes opening wide and a wide smile blooming at the sight of Jynn.  "What an honour and pleasure it is to welcome you to my establishment in person.  Come in, and your female companion as well, and I will set a table for three for whatever is in our storehouses.  What can I do for you today?"

- Raleigh Marin, within the feast at Raiden's villa -

Now that was certainly unexpected, at least for Raleigh.  It would be one thing if he purely sought her out for looks or for stories, but both?  Perhaps there was more to this man that met her eye.  Maybe Curvis was one that saw her as an individual and not a source of amusement or fancy, and that certainly brought a rush of blood to her cheeks.  She looked down to her doubly filled plate in embarrassment.

"I . . . guess I can indulge you, if even a little," Raleigh replied, trying to hide a smile and failing, "though I will refrain from my tales of bloodletting at the dinner table.  In the lands south of here there are tales of a majestic eagle with the wingspan of seven men, one which had made many a feast on villagers caught on its talons.  Some likened it to a griffin of legend, and this caught my ear, so I made my way between assignments to reach the mountain in which it nested, a certain crest called No Tell by the people in the land.

"Getting to it was treacherous, as there were no good way to approach the mountain and no one who yet managed to map it.  This was for good reason.  The location jutted out of the earth like a fiendish triangle, and fierce wolves made sparse any creatures except for mocking crows.  I had to cut down a few on those slopes before the bird caught on to me.  There were many narrow escapes.  Some wild bushes preserved my being sighted, and the cliff faces were enough to hide me with grey rock to match my grey cloak.  One time it did spot me, but it was returning to its nest with two villagers in its talons, so it did not mind in the least.

"When I reached the nest, I found scores of animal and human bones, all picked clean, and several sizable chicks that, if grown, would have been just as monstrous as the eagle.  I did what I had to and waited for the mother, hiding behind a massive egg shell discarded on the rock with my crossbow at the ready.  She was not happy at the sight of her dead chicks, crying in deafening screeches, and I am sad to say that at the choicest opportunity I could not do more than wound her.  She flew off southward and over the seas.  No word of her yet has reached me."

Raleigh tossed back a bang and looked at Curvis, wondering whether he was enjoying the tale or not, or perhaps he was being distracted by the hubbub that was happening on the other side of the table like herself.  It seemed like Midnea was making enemies yet again, and taking Lord Raiden's spot of all places.

How very much like her, she thought with a roll of the eyes.

- Butterfly Man with a Tankard, within The Flowering Hyssop -

Still on his fifth glass of fine beer that he had been nursing for a while, the butterfly fey had witnessed an interruption of a royal and somebody seeking a royal, but what made matters worse was that the latter had draconic powers and glowed with might.  With shaky legs, a huff that sounded like "OOH," and a spray of discarded coins on the table at which he drank, he fled the scene within ten seconds.

"Cursed crazy royals," he huffed to himself, thrusting his wings back and forth with considerable effort enough so that he could barely lift himself.  "Can't leave Mystras alone, could they?  I hope they get what's what."

Beads of sweat dripped from the ale-fueled butterfly's brow as he tried flapping faster and harder, and soon enough he had a true liftoff.  It was very much time to go to a new tavern.  Such was the nature of Cerulio Rhamni, the Butterfly Merchant.

-Arthur - Lord Raiden's Villa - Watching interaction between Raiden and Prince Jynn-

Arthur held his breath. Prince? Oh no. He pressed his back against the wall, quiet as he could be as he kept himself from glancing around the corner, not wanting to get caught or spotted. "(Prince? As in...Prince of this world?)" Arthur gulped. One of the rules was to keep their origin secret. To not let anyone know that they were from the world below. Did the Prince know? He doubted it. He took the hint of the prince's presence to tell himself to book it and return to the feast before he got caught eavesdropping where he wasn't suppose to be at. Not to mention, that even with curiosity at his grasp, he was still a Knight, and he better behave like one, otherwise be dishonored like his father...and he would not allow that to happen. With one final glance, he turned to leave, not noticing the vase stand and the vase that he walked right into. He gasped, quickly grabbing the vase before it could shatter, and he quickly clasped one hand over his mouth. What if someone heard him?! He quickly settled the vase back down where it stood and hurried back down the hall, and back to the feast. He seemingly strode back in, keeping his composure as he smiled and took his seat once more. Everyone seemed to still be enjoying the feast. He found himself sighing as he felt himself once again blend with the rest of the feast. No one noticed him eavesdropping on his lordship? No? Good. But the fact that the prince of this world was here...it settled an unease in his stomach. If they were to keep their visit, their arrival secret, what could possibly happen if the prince out of all people were to find out that people from below have come up here. He shook his head, rubbing the back of his neck slightly before picking up a cup, and turning to the nearest servant. "You wouldn't happen to know if there's any breasticks left, do you?"

- Alex "Daimon" - The Black Knight's second in command - Operation Sondonius

"Its up in flames and battle". Spoke a knight with a halberd on his back, as he and many others knightly men stood by him on a hill overlooking Sondon. His name was Ronan, one of the three in command of the Black knight division now with Draksis gone. and Alongside him, the rest of the Black knights, Elasis, and alongside them, brandishing his blade and shield. Alex.

"With the departure of the king and Draksis, helvadora has the nerve to attack us" Elasis commented, with her red hair flowing with the wind, albeit she had her helmet on, her long red hair escaped it. With a serious tone in her voice.

"That just means we have work to do." The youngest of them spoke, Alex. "Helvadora is distracted with the royal guard, who are doing their best to hold." Alex spoke. "And we're right outside the gates of Sondon, you know. We can pincer them." Alex spoke.

"Quite true" Ronan spoke. "There are three main gates into Sondon, each is being overrun Helvadorian men, their units a divided in three fronts...but so will ours." Ronan spoke with a hint of doubt.

"We've faced worse, plus they won't see us coming." Elasis reassured him with a smile under her helmet. Elasis was a Scout, and she already knew her purpose.

"Settled then. Alex, you strike from the main gate, take a third of the men with you. I will strike the east gate, and Elasis will strike the west gate".

"We will sandwich these bastards." Alex spoke with a smile. "Scouts! Ready the explosive arrows, we're about to surprise them with everything we got!

And with that, the plan to recapture Sondon was set in motion.

The Black knight division, carefuly moved each third of the division into the specified gates, each with a healthy ammount of units of each class, ensuring a total balance and effectiveness. Everyone watching each other's backs.

All three attacks at the gates from Behind the Helvadorian army woul occur the same way, the main frontline unit, composed of Lancers, Slayers and Vanguards would slowly march forward, their guard raised engaging the Helvadorians, while at a distance a platoon of Scouts ready to fire their arrows at the Helvadorian army, their 'onyx' arrows exceptionally effective against plate mail, and their explosive arrows to start the engagement before the main frontline got close, to pepper the helvadorian numbers bit by bit.

Scouts would prioritize High targets like other archer type threats, but it looked like Helvadorian did not bring many archers, still. the Scouts were readdy.

THe Black knights did not have the number advantage, they never had. But they always pulled through.

Each attack would happen simultaneously, with the assigned leader sending out a flare arrow into the sky to signalize the other leaders to commence the attack.

And within minutes, Helvadorians were peppered with explosive arrows and bolts from the flank, from outside the city walls, as the Black knights pushed them back into the city. The Helvadorians would be stuck between the Black knights, from each gate, closing off the entire City gates to ensure no Helvadorian escape. And from the other side, the Royal army. who took notice of the flanking attack, morale boosted, prepared their own engagement with full force as well.

The Red scarf and blue scarf elite Royals were a massive threat to the Helvadorians, now with their morale boosted from the reinforcements, and the fact that The Black knights were working together like clockwork. Would ensure a definite surprise for the duke of Helvadoria, who had distracted himself after Pracia.

In the Main gate, Alex pushed forward alongside his unit. Slashing, blocking, knocking out Helvadorians like a monster, all the while his fellow knights following his lead, watching his back and he watching theirs.

On the east gate, Ronan with his mount and Halberd, striking forth at enemies with his fellow Lancers and Slayers, leading the assault.

While on the wast gate, the Elite Marksman Elasis was leading her unit from the backline, providing perfect cover for the frontline.

This was how a true army fought.

It was time to retake Sondon.

- Henry - The Dreadnaught - Dealing with Vark -

Henry's smile turned into a smirk as Vark taunted his punch. Shrugging "Well, I didn't want to puncture your rib cage..." as Henry spoke he walked forward, passing his hand by a tree, as he soon punched with a small bit of force. The tree exploded in half from the trunk Henry punched as the rest of the tree fell in front of Henry. Finally showing some strenght.

"See what I mean?" Henry spoke, "Hey would that guy with red hair have one arm? I might have something to do with his missing arm...it was an accident..." Henry smirked a bit, as it reminded him of a past acquaintance of his from his first days as a renegade.

"You want what I got? Fine..." Henry spoke, with a smile, as he kicked the the rest of the tree that was at his feet, the log was sent flying towards Vark at incredible speeds, if Vark was quick enough he could dodge it. But Henry prepared for a dodge.

Dashing forward, drawing his sword, embuing it with dark fire, Henry would wait for Vark to finish his dodging maneuver of the tree, as he would lunge forward towards Vark, his enhanced phisiology allowing him to close the gap between them in an instant with a single jump. As he would deliver an explosive downward sword slam at Vark should he not be careful. Which would explode with dark fire in a large area around Henry on impact. ensuring some damage should Vark not clear himself of the area.

Henry hadn't even gone dreadnaught yet. Maybe he would need to later...who knows.

- Draksis - The Black knight commander - Alongside Alderon in the feast -

Draksis was surprised that Alderon approached him, the man seemed so taken by Midneah and other activities that Draksis did not expect Alderon to approach him, then again both of them were good friends, albeit Draksis having the age to be Alderon's Grandfather by now.

The question was not of easy answer however, Draksis would speak his mind of course. But with a hint of doubt.  "It is too early to say for sure, but they look like we could at least reach somewhat of a peaceful dealing. Albeit this talk of the queen unnerves me." Draksis spoke his mind to Alderon, conclusive, wise and respectful as always.,

- Alicia - The Violet Storm - And Alastor- The Storm's Vengance - Attending Raiden's feast -

Alicia simply nodded as Jynn spoke to her, as they entered Raiden. Alicia kept her cool, quiet and stoic demeanor as Raiden welcomed them within the feast, this was Jynn's turn to speak, not hers.

Alicia merely watched the surroundings, analyzing, checking for any possible threats, and making sure to memorize them.

Alastor was doing the same, with his back leaned against the side wall of the feast, he could overlook the whole thing, and saw Jynn and Alicia walking in. His gaze shifted towards Alicia for a moment, familiarity filled his gaze for a second. Thankfully he had put his helmet on the moment he heard the doors opening, so nobody would really notice. But he quickly shifted his gaze towards Jynn, awaiting the boy to speak to Raiden.

Should anything Happen, both Alastor and Alicia were ready to defend themselves and their friends and allies. For better or for worse.

-Eclaire: With Queen Shiva, Kilkis Seres-

Eclaire blushed even worse, the teasing and how silly she looked only making it worse. But when Shiva touched her...well, she felt her unease go away. And...it wasn't her succubus blood...no, it was more. She didn't know what it really was, but she liked it. Smiling as Shiva locked arms, she did her best to follow the pointers, trying to not pause too much. "I-I'll remember that...and not choose these...deathtraps." She said. "Fashion statement or not, no one should subject them to these things..." She wasn't going to try this again, definitely not. She had enough problems.

The garden was beautiful, but Eclaire still felt some of the more natural areas she had seen were better...not that she said that. She kept close, enjoying the walk.

"It is...different. I'm not used to being in a place such as this...nor having what I have. I..." She trailed off. "I've never had much. Now I have so much...I'm not quite sure, Queen Shiva, how to express...my confusion, I guess? I'm overwhelmed by all that you've blessed me with, and I don't know what I'm doing." She kept close, but didn't sit...until Shiva patted the spot beside her. Gratefully taking the spot and getting off her feet, she turned a bit to look at Shiva...and she listened.

"Queen Shiva..." She started quietly. "For years...decades, I have wandered. Never fitting in, always protecting yet ending up being the very monster I swore to keep at bay. I...no one has ever told me I could have a purpose, or have potential...Shiva, all my life I have believed I was merely a mistake. A freak accident of magic and lust that should never have become, a transgression that must be wiped out. I took up my swords and spear, learned the arcane arts and those of both the Valkyries and Succubi...but you are the only one who has told me...I could have purpose." She looked at her, then took Shiva's hand in her own, hugging it to her chest...and tearing up. "My only goal was to die. To finally die being a hero, so at the very least the travesty that was my birth could bring good...I've dreamed of the day I could let this life of sin and salvation...but I'm afraid of death...like everyone else I am too afraid to end what everyone has downcried..." She let out a sob. "Shiva...you're not impeding...y...you're giving me life...you're giving me dreams and goals...so please...Tell me. Tell me how I can be of service. Tell me how I can protect people..." She looked at her, her brilliant eyes weeping tears. "If you believe in me, then please. Tell me how I can protect people."

Her vice was dripping if sorrow and sincerity, her very heart bared. She had wandered with a selfish goal, one she always ruined by her lack of control...even her teachers abandoned her, once they were certain of her birth. She was a mistake...her dreams crumbled as that truth came down...but now she was told...she had a purpose...potential.

Anything, Shiva. Anything you ask...for the one person who thinks I have a life worth living.

As soon as the door opens, Jynn lets out a smile. It is almost as if he turned into a different person. "Hello Lord Raiden. It is a pleasure to see you again, this time, in your city." As Jynn accepts Raiden's offer, he could sense a lot of movement coming from the other room. He can also smell the food, which smelled extremely delicious. He then faces Raiden. "I feel that I came at a bad time..... Oh well, I guess I should make this quick." As he takes a seat, he takes in the luxury of Lord Raiden's establishment. It rivaled his and his mother's home. His attention then turns back to Raiden. "Alright....... I'm not sure how to say this without angering you, but I'm afraid the Forbidden Shrine has been tampered with again. Now, no fingers are being pointed at you my lord, nobody believes you are responsible. But I think it's something you need to look into." Jynn then waits and watches Raiden's response without looking suspicious.

Rabiyu - City of Mystras - Flowering Hyssop

It looked like both she and Yevgeni pushed Baxter's wrong buttons if the coming attack was any indication. While Baxter was expressing himself, Rabiyu was calm enough to take a glimpse into the future, a few seconds to be precise, she could see nothing except white. She had to think about what to do.
"To tell the truth, child, I do not care how strong Lord Raiden is," Rabiyu said, her neutral tone remaining in her voice, "not if the Crown Prince has a good head over his shoulders, he should know better than to cause a fight between him and Lord Raiden, unless his desire is to cause a war between the Kilkes Seres Royal Family and Lord Raiden."
The white haired elf was looking at Baxtrer's sword and finally understood the meaning of her vision. It was time to play some mind games with the young fey, at least that was the plan before he began his attack. Rabiyu quickly covered her eyes, she could hear and feel movement coming from Baxter at a quick speed, once Baxter's hand was close enough she grabbed it and jumped over it before landing on Baxter's shoulders.
"You want to know what I see in your future, child," she said nonchalantly, pulling Baxter's arm behind him to stop him from moving, "I see a rather angry and disappointed Prince, a new royal tomb back in Kilkes Seres, made especially for his Highness, I see revenge coming from one younger than you, one that you were meant to protect, and a heartbroken mother whose only son was lost in the battle that brought a new war to her doorsteps. Your burden will be very heavy in this road you've chosen."
Nothing was true, of course, she didn't looked that far into the future, she just wanted to mess with the boy. Rabiyu then reached her hand out in the direction of the sword. Her mind was focused on grabbing the sword, slowly the sword began to come out of the floorboard, and once it was out, Rabiyu threw it outside through a window with the help of her psychokinetic powers. With her vision coming back the elf let go of Baxter's arm and jumped to the stairs of the second floor.
"It is unwise to try and take us both, " Rabiyu said, "unwise and a waste of our time, time that could be used to infiltrate Lord Raiden's villa and help the Prince."
The High Elf took out her bow and arrow from under her misty cloak and pointed it at Baxter. The arrow was very peculiar, it was black and looked very sturdy, and yet it looked like it could be used with ease by the elf.
"I hold no ill will towards you, child, but should you dare to attack me once more I will have the necessity to pierce your heart without any hesitation nor regret, "she said calmly, "These arrows were crafted by the late king under the mountain and are capable to pierce even the hardest of dragon scales, and trust me, I know what they are capable of. Now calm yourself before you get hurt."

 - Typhon - The Bug man - Fighting off Jimba -

Typhon was in for it now, Jimba managed to maneuver himself well enough to see his attack coming, Typhon thought all was lost at that exact moment Jimba grabbed him, as he felt Jimba's grip tighten a sudden realization came to Typhon's mind. He could no longer be the pacifist that he always was, as such, he had to do something, Jimba had his arms bound in that bear hug of his. Pain all around Typhon's body, Typhon was grunting and hissing at the pain. But he knew what to do now.

Problem for Jimba was, that Typhon could eject acid from his body, through any orifice, and the closes one to Jimba now? Typhon's Mouth, with his body size somewhat rivaling Jimba's and the fact that a bear hug made them face head to head. "I've had enough of this, my family died for unfair reasons, I am one of the last of my bloody kind, I am hunted in every kingdom in this god forsaken world, and now im being bearhugged by a man who spent too much time lifting weights?!. screw that...I am not letting some wannabe mountain man kill me" Typhon spoke, with clear anger on his tone, his voice also losing pitch and sounding ever more monstrous as his skull began to twist and turn as his mouth opened, expanding itself in a horrible sight, as a constant stream of acid began to shoot out of it, right into Jimba's face. Probably would be enough to stun him, or damage him heavily.

Meanwhile the bugs that inhabited Typhon began flying around Jimba, behind the giant, beginning to peck him and pour their paralyzing on their stings.

- Henry - The Dreadnaught - Duel in the woods -

Henry was impressed, not that Vark managed to block the blow, but that his sword actualy nullified the magic, taking notice of it almost instantly, something Vark seemed to have not done yet, Henry allowed himself distraction enough to let Vark throw his amrs upwards. The samurai going for a pincer attack on both his underarms.

Henry wouldn't have enough time to block or evade, not with his longsword's still moving from the deflection, Henry promply let go of the blade as it fell a few feet behind him. Henry quickly brought both his elbows down, on the katanas's sides, allowing himself to deflect them whilst not being cut himself, his platemail armor in his torso blocking the pincer attack easily as the blades were pushed down. Henry grabbed Vark's arm that held the Ryoki, the sword that nullified his magic.

Henry promptly swung his head forward at Vark, going for a crushing headbutt, in order to stun Vark, should the headbutt not work, or prove ineffective He would regardless followup with a kick to Vark's torso with enhanced strenght, if it hit, Vark would be sent flying towards a nearby tree. in an attempt to disarm Vark of his magical blade. As well as trying to incapacitate the man with sheer strenght.

Henry maintained his serious expression throughout all this. "You're in over your head and you know it."

-Morana - Mystras Mountain Range - Jimba's fight-

Thankfully, Morana had a steel stomach. She had witnessed more...unsettling things before. She was a Wendigo-Fey after all. She had seen and eaten disturbing things. This bug man, Typhon, simply added a new level to add to the list of it. The head turning, the bugs made it a tad bit worse, but not that bad. "This guy has a specific type of hate against bugs...or bug men. That should be considered a hate crime." Morana admitted, crossing her legs as she remained where she sat. She had to find an opening that didn't affect Typhon nor her. But with that acid...and those bugs. If she were to take a step in she could easily get caught in the crossfire. So instead, she just decided that she would wait for an opening where she sat. "Go get them bug boy! I'll help when you're not spitting acid like a fountain!" Morana said as she watched in amusement.

-Arthur - Lord Raiden's Villa - At the feast-

Arthur looked more distracted than he originally was. Then again, his mind was on the prince that was currently inside this place, in another room, that could possibly know or not know of their existence, and that by all means could either mean good luck, or really big trouble. He had yet to thought of a proper gift for Visco, either. He would have to ask lord Raiden or Alastor if they had any ideas. Again, maybe a talisman or something. If only he knew what had happened to the kingdom he had called home. Oh he would be devastated. Would his family still be alive? Would her majesty still be alive? He would have no way of knowing, and that alone, was torture. At least there was no food fight in this one, but he could not help himself to still feel...odd about it. He drank a bit from his goblet before resting his head down a bit.

-Helios - Avarice - The siblings and Gel-
Helios smiled at Gel and the tiwns. "Shall we get started to head back, then?" Helios asked. He glanced around, quickly spotting an alleyway. He hurried over, taking a peek to check if it was empty. Luckily it was. He pointed at it. "I can shape-shift in here. By the time we take off we'd be to quick for anyone to even question it." Helios suggested with a soft smile as he glanced at Gel again. "If you come with us, we can all head to the Overworld in one big trip once he find Henry! Saves up the travel all in one trip. Traversing through the gates is a bit difficult. I'll have to be extra fast to get through any sentinels, if the Queen has set up some." Helios said as he played with his fingers. He just needed Gel's approval or denial and they could go on their way. Hopefully Henry wouldn't be dead by then.

Jimba - Forest near Mystras

As Jimba turned his attention back to his target the Cyph along with the interference Mikhail, he was suddenly surprised by the Genie Rufus appearing himself right in front of Jimba. The Genie Rufus created a bluff in the hopes it would stop Jimba from his assault & indeed managed to hold Jimba for a few moments while Typhon & Mikhail quickly maneuvered through his white blasting dots but. Just then Morana showed up along with her terrible bad smelling odor that followed her, Jimba could indeed smell the foul smell as it started covering the area. But the smell for some reason didn't effect Jimba in the least but instead just made him more annoyed & angry. "Grrr, SILENCE! I WARNED YOU INTERLOPERS! NOW YOU WILL ALL BE PUNISHED FOR YOUR RULE BREAKING!" yells Jimba ignoring all around him & Elia's question she tried to ask him, Jimba's white dots exploded with a roar causing a bit of a distraction from all the dirt it blow around but Typhon & Milhail managed to escape it's range. Jimba quickly then swings his left arm passing through Rufus's body as if to remove him from his vision or disperse him & right after that Jimba was suddenly lifted up by a tree that had randomly erupted from beneath him, however the tree wasn't able to throw him into the air as he was just way to heavy to do so.

At the same time Jimba was lifted by the tree unfortunately Mikhail's Axii spell had missed Jimba's head due to the tree pushing him out of the way, "W-WHAT! Grr!" yells Jimba very angry like. Jimba could then see Typhon rushing towards him going for a double slash as to knock him off the tree & to the hard ground, "Grrr! CYPH! YOU WILL FACE PUNISHMENT!" yells Jimba. At the very moment Typhon went to slash at Jimba he went to grab Typhon around his hips tanking this double slash attack while doing so & with Typhon's body size greatly bigger than normal would mean an easier chance to grab him. If Jimba should grab the Cyph he'd start to tighten his grip as a means to crash the Cyph to death.

- Rufus Contralto, occupied with the fight against Jimba in the forest near Mystras -

Rufus would have snickered wildly as Jimba's mighty swat flew through him, not dissipating him in the least but acting similarly to a hologram with everything else phasing through him, but the explosion of a tree rocketing upwards and all sorts of complicated tactics from his fellows changed things.  His mien shifted back to his harmless self and he floated backwards, watching the battle from afar.  He did not realise Morana's presence next to him for a few seconds, to whom he looked over and tried bracing against a nearby tree.

"What progresses upward?" he voiced suavely before falling through, somehow losing balance even though gravity had no effect on him.  It did not take him long to recuperate and stick his head out from the ground, laughing hysterically.  "I meant to do that.  What's your name?"

- Lord Raiden, meeting Jynn at his villa in Mystras -

Raiden looked at the prince with something between a curious smile and a surprised frown stuck on his face.  As he guessed, the royal family had their incertitude focused on him.  This was not without merit, as he was perhaps the most independent of the rulers on the Overworld, but Jynn unnerved him.  He wore the same mask Raiden often used in his youth, one of knowing more than what was elaborated, and the steward of Mystras had to be on his guard.

"It baffles me why I would be angry at such news if no fingers are pointed at me," he commented, a shadow of a smile playing on his lips and quickly fading away.  "I thank you for this news, though I can assure you that it has already been alerted to me.  Guards and informants have been sent forth, patrolling the city and the surrounding area for suspicious activity, and if any information graces me I will take corrective action on those responsible.

"I am curious, however, as to why you have come to me instead of the queen or yourself sending a courier or dispatch.  Perhaps you were simply in the area?  And who is this companion of yours?  A new royal bodyguard, perhaps?"

The questions Raiden asked were genuine, and he eyed the two with interest.  The girl strangely felt familiar, but perhaps it was just his imagination, or that she was simply a fellow purplette.

--Queen Shiva--Kilkis Seres--

The queen's hazel eyes shifted to the ground at their feet, biting her lip as Eclaire spewed forth her very soul.  Yes, her tale was a sorrowful one indeed, and yet she knew her own actions would only make Eclaire's life even harder.  It took Eclaire grabbing her hand and clutching it to her chest to snap her out of her reverie, watching with glassy eyes of her own as Eclaire broke out into sobs, confessing that Shiva, herself, had been the one to bring Eclaire hopes and dreams out of the despair she had once been in.  Carefully, and with a moment's hesitation, she wrapped her free arm around Eclaire's shoulders and pulled her close into a side embrace, bringing her free hand up to stroke the young woman's head.

"But you see, my child, you've had the power and strength to carve your own future all along.  I've done nothing but provide encouragement, a shoulder to lean on, quite literally."  At this she let out a hollow laugh, which only lasted about a moment.  "Eclaire, you are a strong woman capable of so much, and my desire for you is to survive.  I want you to see the advent of the Overworld, a new age of prosperity and unity that we have yet to ever see.  I'd love for you to live your dreams, something I wish I had done in my youth but instead was shackled to someone else's.

"It is too late for me, but not for you.  I want you to go out there and show the world who you really are.  Eclaire, I would like for you to be my retainer.  Even one day when I am gone, I wish for you to carry out my dream and legacy.  A valkyrie, leading my army of Elite Pegasus Knights to peace.  You would have to work closely with Maxis, but I promise he's a teddy bear once you get to know him."

Oh, how he'd probably scoff at me for saying that, Shiva thought amusedly to herself, letting out a slight smile.  Her eyes then grew serious again, her body stiffening. "There is something I must do, Eclaire, and I will be honest: I may not return alive.  If everything goes as I wish for it to we can all celebrate peace and joy together, but as queen I must do everything in my power to prevent war and bloodshed.  I want what is best for my people.  When I swore to take the throne I vowed that my kingdom and nation came first, and then my own life; I intend to stay true to this vow.  I hope that you understand."

--Everyth Castanova-- Outskirts of Sondon--

The woman followed Effie through the murky waters, the latter seeming to know her way.  She'd led them to shore, to which Everyth gratefully climbed atop.  She took her long ebony hair in her hands and began to wring it.  "Well, that could've been marginally worse," she said at last, shaking her hair free, which still plastered to her neck and shoulders from being thoroughly saturated.  "At least we were rewarded with the slightly cleaner lake after that was all said and done."

At this she knelt before the princess, taking her small hands in hers.  They were freezing.  She ripped off the jacket that Effie lent her, wrapping it around Visco's shoulders before bringing a hand to the princess's chin.  "Are you alright, my dear princess?  You must be freezing, but soon we shall get you into some fresh clean clothes and get you warm.  I promise."

Eventually she rose, nodding toward Effie, determination visible in her hard violet eyes.  "Lead the way."

Within the castle of Sondon bodies littered practically every corridor, the stench of blood within the air.  Things were looking well for Helvadoria until the Black Knights had shown up, and the tides of battle were drastically changing.  The duke had been left entirely dumbfounded by Pracia's words.  She referred to him as human, but what did that make her?  Not human?  This was a laughable notion, to which the duke even laughed at aloud.  "Who does she think she is anyway, speaking to the Duke of Helvadoria in such a manner?" he asked no one in particular before turning around, causing his heart to stop dead in his throat.

Many of his own men had recently been slaughtered, and the very few that remained alive in the room came running to him.  "Sir!  Reports from our men indicate that the Black Knights have taken action.  Our numbers are being reduced at an alarming rate."

"Orders, sir?"

The duke shook his head before glaring at the two men.  "Just get the princess and we can leave.  Round up what men we have and search this place. Disengage battle with the Sondonians and just find her.  I want her doggy head dead or alive!"

With that the duke stormed off, heading in the direction that Pracia had disappeared off to.  Regardless of the woman's brash words, she did possess incredible power, and if anyone were to take down the princess--or capture her--it would be this woman.

--Yevgeni Malachite -- Flowering Hyssop--

Now Baxter had done it.

This journey had already waned Yev's patience thin, and seeing Baxter's rebellion and foolish behavior was just too much.  He couldn't remain docile any longer.

"Very well, if this is how you wish to play"--Yevgeni closed his eyes, gold sparkles illuminating his body--"then so be it."

The gold sparkles concentrated at his back, and, just as suddenly as they had appeared, translucent wings began to take form.  They were long and graceful, though looked particularly fragile and not really meant for heavy use.  He hovered across the room to a location a short distance away, watching as Baxter stabbed the floor and causing a blinding light to surround the premises briefly.  For a short duration the elf was unable to see anything, though his vision did clear to find Rabiyu leaping upon the second floor, readying her bow to fire at the youth.  He straightened, extending a palm.

"Lady Elliltari speaks truth," Yevgeni stated, as a concentrated orb of light split into four and began orbiting around Yev.  "You may be well-versed in your own magics, but we have thousands of years of extensive training.  We would make much better allies than enemies.  You are a fool, and soon to be a dead one."

Yevgeni allowed his orbs of light to fly to four corners of the room, to which they extended into swords made of light.  They struck the ground, light energy pulsating from them in a large radius.  Should the light energy have gotten close enough, Baxter would've endured quite the extensive burns.  This spell faded in time, though in that instant Yevgeni glided forward at a rapid pace, rapier outstretched and glowing with a golden aura.  His plan was not to strike Baxter, but, rather, distract him.  If he preoccupied him with a head-on assault Rabiyu would find it all too easy to land an arrow on him with his back turned, or at least that was what he was intending.

--Alderon and Curvis- Raiden's villa--

Curvis found himself completely enraptured in Raleigh's every word as she recounted her adventures to him.  He'd taken a seat alongside her somewhere during the middle of it, propping his elbow on the table as he turned and listened to what she had to say, a dreamy expression on his face the entire time.  Once she'd finished her tale he took up the glass of wine in front of him and began churning it, causing the ruby red liquid to swirl.  "I must say that sounds like a marvelous adventure.  I wish that we'd be assigned such objectives sometime.  Unfortunately His Majesty has us doing more mundane forms of work, or at least for myself.  I often am just standing guard all over the place, once in a while training new kids and breaking a few ribs."

He chuckled, resting his chin in his hand as he turned to look her in the eyes.  "When did you decide to become a mercenary, if I might inquire, and are you happy with the outcome?  Is there anything in life that you would rather do more?"  A food critic most immediately came to Curvis' mind, but he knew better than to utter this suggestion aloud.

On the other side of the table King Alderon was calm once more, carefully placing a napkin in his lap as he began to take a bite into the thigh of this rare bird he'd never once tasted before.  He was certain that he'd have to ask Lord Raiden if he may take a pair of these birds to breed down in the world below.  How he would adore to have this every year on his birthday, at least!

It seemed that he was no longer concerned with Midnea's behavior and had already dismissed the situation with Lorleanna.  He offered her his own wine to taste, as well as inquiring hers and Draksis' opinion on the food, namely the drumsticks from the unnamed bird.

The king was not quite so jovial when Raiden returned with guests, however.  They were dressed rather differently from their own merry lot, seeming more uniform in appearance and particularly more serious.  The king's heavy brows furrowed slightly with concern as Jynn took a seat and began to explain his situation and concerns.  Alderon, of course, stilled his tongue and didn't say a word.  While he was new to the Overworld he was not a fool.  Apparently Jynn had some connections with this queen that they feared, and any detection of their human ties could very well end disastrously.  Thankfully it seemed that Raiden had things well under control, and so long as he and his friends kept a level head.

As Raiden convened with the prince a snowy owl soared through the banquet hall, wings outstretched.  It perched itself upon Raiden's shoulder, tilting its head with amber eyes locked onto Raiden's.  On its leg was a letter with a royal seal.  Apparently it was sent from Kilkis Seres.

Should Raiden choose to read the letter that was contained, it read:

Dear Raiden of Mystras,

I fear that we have allowed our differing views to go on for far too long.  Should we continue traversing our varied paths it is inevitable that more lives will be lost, and it won't be long before a full-on war breaks out.  I very well remember our childhood dreams of unity and prosperity, and, while it brings my heart joy that you are living our dream, as queen of Kilkis Seres I am duty-bound and cannot tolerate the course under which such actions are taking place.

I would like to convene with you at 11 o'clock tonight, at the place where we share our fondest memories.  Meet me there, and we shall resolve our differences once and for all, for the good of all fey.

Yours forevermore,

Shiva de la Alexandria

Jynn Venas-Raiden's Villa

Raiden's reaction was somewhat questionable, but didn't give a clear indication. Perhaps he's not involved, directly. Upon hearing Raiden's questions, Jynn proceeds to answer the first question. "I was sent here by my mother. The reason for her not showing up, is beyond me. She trusts you, but she probably had other matters to deal with. Who knows what she's thinking under that headdress of hers." He paused and thinks to himself. There are things she doesn't even tell me. Jynn gets sidetracked for a minute before continuing to speak. "Anyways, initially, me and my allies were only sent here to help investigate who was behind the tinkering of the Shrine. But when it was disturbed again, I felt that I needed to inform you." Jynn then pauses and the looks to Alicia. Jynn wasn't sure what to say about her upon Raiden's second question. Alicia did seem to be the most loyal to Jynn of Yevgeni's group. Jynn then faces back to Raiden. "This is Alicia. She is a friend of mine. You have no need to fear her, she is a good person." Jynn then stretches and looks at a nearby clock. It is getting late. "Well thank you for your time Lord Raiden. I apologize for interrupting anything. We shall take our leave." Just as the Prince was about to leave, a snowy owl intervenes. Wait, the owl seems familiar. Was this Queen Shiva's? As he watched the owl perch on Raiden's shoulder, he noticed that the bird had a letter.

~-Aqua: Mystras Mountain Range-~

Aqua saw the attack that was sent toward her coming closer and closer to hitting her. With a combination of quick wit and Elf speed, she summoned up a wall of water. The wall was the length and width of her body and 2cm thick. It took most of the impact, however, she was still sent flying back into the nearest tree. She was relatively unharmed from the blow. Aside from a few scratches and slight dizziness from her head hitting the tree. The wall of water rained onto the ground where she had been standing at.

She stood up rather quickly. Aqua took a deep breath to calm herself down. She needed to catch up to the group and pronto. That stray attack made her worry for her comrades. Well, she now knew the others of the group weren't very far ahead. She gave her staff one glance and another to her body. After seeing neither were too damaged or hurt she started to run to her groupmates. Once she was close enough to see them see noticed a fight was going on.

"Well, this is great." She muttered to herself with a great deal of sarcasm.

- Soren Monroe, Former Sentinel of Isopolis - The Feast of Fools Kings -

The answer's Lord Raiden gave to the question he put forward were satisfactory to say the least. To say the most? They were the greatest words he had heard for five hundred years, certainly filled with emotion as the Lord wore his heart upon his sleeve for all to see...that passion could out burn even Soren's mightiest flames from Hell. The ex-sentinel then bowed respectfully before Raiden explained his principles and invited them to enjoy a great and bountiful feast for all present. As they stepped inside, Soren couldn't help but wonder where The Infiltrator had scurried off to, he'd be lying if he said he didn't miss the man a little.

Lord Raiden certainly seemed like the man Soren thought him to be...

Queen Shiva wasn't exactly high on the ex-sentinel's list of favoured people. In truth, they disagreed on practically everything, particularly the forbidding of interaction with the World Below, as Soren was a staunch advocate for co-operation, so long as the mortals knew their place, i.e: They don't get too big for their boots. Lord Raiden was beginning a movement representing all that Soren could have ever dreamed of doing, even King Alderon himself was present...truly, something glorious was being born today.

His thoughts aside, Soren had sat at the grand table, his appetite sadly not strong as of now, so he didn't eat for a long time, electing to remain silent once more. As he did, the man was leaning forward, his hands clasped together as he pondered, his eyes scanning around, observing individuals all around the Feast Hall, up to and including two powerful seeming people: Draksis and Alastor, discussing and keeping an eye out for something, possibly acting as Security for the Feast.

Things were coming down a little. She could disrupt things now. Throw everything into chaos with a well-placed arrow. But somehow... she felt now wasn't right. Things were idle, not tense. Just because things were quiet didn't mean they were awkward or tense. Patience Neena, patience. She poured wine still, but she was growing restless. She needed to do something. Intel. Easy, and most essential. But her target... who could she speak to, con into telling her things. She noted the arrival of Jynn and the man's guard, as well as Raiden speaking with him. But still, the situation remained quiet. Jynn seemed intent on allowing things to go on as they were despite any potential threats. Damn his reasonability. Neena needed everyone here to hate each other, but it seemed they were all devoted to some form of peace. With her eyes focused on a target, the Sentinel of the Temple, Soren, she bent down so that her face was by his ear. "Things are most interesting aren't they? I love how interesting they are, truly. This world was getting stale, I do not think I'd have liked to live centuries with just the same old things happening. Do you feel the same? Is that why you are here now?" She asked him, her voice a little cheery, bubbly. She was playing a role right now. She didn't want to be seen as herself after all, that might be bad.

Cerberos ~ The Mercenaries ~ Mystras; Outside Raiden's Villa

"Didn't we just escape this place?" Viridem commented, her voice filled with sarcasm and distaste for the situation.

"Situation changed." Ryonne answered curtly. He looked at the walls, and wondered how secure the place was. They were looking for a vault, they knew that much. Scaling a wall seemed the easiest way in, considering just walking in the front door seemed an incredibly easy way to get killed, or at the very least found out. Neither of which were good. Swanson, whilst Ryonne stared at the wall, walked up to it, and pulled out a grappling hook. He tossed it up, and it caught on the roof tiles, he pulled, and assured it was steady, gestured to it. Ryonne nodded slightly, though he didn't like how careless that had been. It was one thing to be caught staring at a wall, it was another to be caught tossing a grappling hook. But it was done now. "Quickly," Ryonne commanded, moving towards the rope and scaling it, all the way to the roof. Viridem and Swanson joined him soon after, and Swanson pulled the rope up and stowed it back into his bag. They were inside the compound. Now for the vault. And hopefully, they could do it all without being seen.

Gel ~ The Farmer ~ Avarice; Market

They spoke about travelling back into the Sondon, about going to rescue Henry. And Gel thought.... He'd just left there. He'd escaped, made it away with his life. He could find something new for himself, free from danger or risk or anything. He could live the life he'd always wanted to, the simple one. But he looked at Helios, the Fey, the person who didn't fit here. And Gel knew he couldn't just let things be. Things would only get more crazy, if he was there or not. And Gel figured, might as well try and be as much the voice of reason as he could be right? He didn't know how effective he could be... But if there was even a chance he could help return things to normal shouldn't he take it. He took a deep breath, took a last look at the Avarician market, then looked back to Helios and the twins. He nodded emphatically. "I'll keep with you guys." He answered, moving towards them. "So let's get going I guess?"
