The 13th Kenpachi 4,279 Posted August 26, 2016 I found it disappointing tbh. We didn't get any shocking reveal so all the build up felt wasted.
Felixx 6,646 Posted August 26, 2016 I think it was good. I expected more reveals tbh (okay way more), but it was still good. I guess they didn't wanna reveal anything before Back Cover. Also loved the ending when Skuld and Ephemera appeared 1 Moochieh32 reacted to this

keyslinger 307 Posted August 26, 2016 Not to bad but a lot of unanswered questions.
Zimomo 143 Posted August 26, 2016 It was good. Remember that there still are X back cover and Unchained X, that is supposed to continue whenever it reaches the X ending.
Master Eraqus 1,340 Posted August 26, 2016 I loved the ending. Everything about the Nightmare Chirithy was both surprising an awesome, the Keyblade War was pretty dark; seeing all those hearts flying away and all the Keyblades just quickly landing on the ground of the wasteland; and during the whole thing, I just felt awful for the Player. But in the end, I couldn't help but smile and felt really happy for the Player for reuniting with Ephemera and Skuld. I haven't been really happy from the final events of a Kingdom Hearts game since Kingdom Hearts 2 and Birth By Sleep (kinda with the latter; more like tears of joy thought I certainly wasn't happy with the fates of Aqua, Terra and Ventus ). Did it leave a lot of unanswered questions? Yes, but considering Unchained Chi will continue the story, Chi Back Cover will retell the story from the perspectives of the Foretellers and there's still one more update for Chi releasing on the 29th, I know that there is more to tell and questions will certainly be answered. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
Guest Posted August 26, 2016 I found it disappointing tbh. We didn't get any shocking reveal so all the build up felt wasted. There is the secret episode to look forward to... plus, "season 2" will carry on with Unchained X anyway. Personally, I loved it. It really humanised the Forteller's as individuals and the chaos that ensued was definitely reminiscent of that of a war. Plus, when the player cried... Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted August 26, 2016 I mean, I would have liked it if you got to fight every Foreteller, including your own (something along the lines of "Master, please stop this" kind of thing), but this still worked well enough. It was a pretty heart wrenching ending, one worthy of any tragically feelsy anime (Kingdom Hearts X anime, MAKE IT HAPPEN SQUARE/DISNEY!), and I can't wait to see how this concludes with the Secret Ending and how we'll get to experience it in Unchained. AngelTheWeirdStranger 504 Posted August 26, 2016 I found it good. Not the best, but it was, overall, a satisfying climax. From confronting nightmare Chirithy, to the Keyblade War, to facing 4 Foretellers. It's everything a good climax needs. Sure, it doesn't have any major revelations and didn't tie up many loose ends but there's still Unchained X and Back Cover, so it didn't really have to. All in all, it was a pretty good ending. KingdomHearts3 2,591 Posted August 26, 2016 Unbelievable... I LOVED IT! All these questions will surely be answered come χBC.
Mysterious Figure 353 Posted August 26, 2016 It was pretty epic, as someone in the Ursus union in unchained, I'm super interested to see how this plays out for me. Still don't know who the traitor is but I'm pretty certain it isn't Aced, this has all the signs of misdirection.
Svard 164 Posted August 26, 2016 It was pretty good in my view. I like how the player was very zoned out in his emotional state. It really made me feel for him, being in a battle he didn't really want to be in and reminiscing on the recent events leading up to it, as though he was trying to figure out in his head what it all really even meant. That end moment, with Ephemera saying "let's go together" was perhaps, the best moment for me. I only can't wait to see more, between this next upcoming episode, future episodes with Unchained and Backcover. Hopefully we'll receive more hints to the X-blade in this coming episode, since all we've gotten was Ava's last message to the player.
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted August 27, 2016 (edited) I'm not watching the ending because I want to see it for myself how everything goes down when the time comes in Unchained X, ya know? Though I know from everybody what happens, and I've got to say, it's some pretty mind-boggling stuff! And people, there's no need to fret over unanswered questions! The secret Episode on the 29th and Season 2 that goes on in Unchained X will continue the story, so we'll probably get our answers (Or more questions!) there! But yeah, overall, from what I've heard, the ending was really sad...and I really love tragic endings! Raxaimus 300 Posted August 27, 2016 I did like it, but I felt there were a few too many unanswered questions, such as Luxu's whereabouts, why the world had Dream Eaters if there wasn't a Realm of Sleep yet, and why Ava was acting the way she was in the final battle. We are getting the epilogue on Monday and Back Cover in December, though, so here's hoping these questions get answered. Not to mention the fact that Unchained χ will likely expand upon this story for years to come. I know some people were really upset that we didn't see the χ-blade, Kingdom Hearts, or the shattering of the worlds. Ultimately, this isn't about that. This is about the story of the player and his/her two best friends, and their journey concluded shortly before those final events took place. It only felt right to cut off when it did. Overall, though, the ending was incredibly heart-rending. At first, I couldn't believe I was crying at a mobile game, but this is Kingdom Hearts. Of course I'd end up crying! 1 Master Eraqus reacted to this
