August 30, 20169 yr They still then get 2.8 on PS4. If you really want to play KH3 one day you should stay on PS4. PS4 might get exclusive content too. Not all KH fans care about 2.8 as it only consists of KH3D a better version mind you, but if they already have a 3DS, then it wouldn't matter to them, a movie( that stuff gets leaked online), the only think I can see them being miffed about is KH 0.2 BBS, and even then it is actually quite possible that SE just releases it separately as a demo for both systems to advertise KH3, and Sony just got timed exclusivity dibs on that, as the game itself can not only run nearly the same if not better due to the Scorpio being more powerful than the NEO, but it can also control the same on the Xbox One. KH3D can not, even though it wouldn't surprise me if SE found a way and said f it we are porting it to more platforms. There is also the case of the Scorpio being the most powerful console, so KH3 will run better on it, and to some that matters more than exclusive content they don't really care about, but considering FFXV doesn't seem to have PS4 Exclusive content considering the game was originally for PS4, I find it very questionable if they will do the same for Kingdom Hearts 3

Even a delayed release date for FFXV.
August 31, 20169 yr Thanks for this article, Sora'spromise! Hmm, this is most curious! I wonder why the XBox One listing would be removed from the Japanese website? That's quite odd! It's probably some sort of site error! But either way, I hope this isn't the case, because I'm sure that KH fans that happen to own XBox One's instead of PS4's would be hugely disappointed if the game doesn't come out for the XBox! Even though I don't own Microsoft consoles, I really hope the KHIII XBox One port doesn't get scrapped!

They probably cancelled the Japanese Xbox Version the console sells like crap in Japan, I believe there are actually less than 100 units don't worry. USA, and PAL will get their Xbox One Versions, but like Metal Gear Rising Revengance the game will be PS4 exclusive in Japan
August 31, 20169 yr I think we don't have to worry about the Xbox One version being cancelled for all regions, just Japan. I mean, the console is not doing well in Japan at all. If it were cancelled, it probably be for pragmatic reasoning, after all. Edited August 31, 20169 yr by NemesisSP
August 31, 20169 yr Didn't something like this happen with Final Fantasy XIII? I think it's just the Japanese Xbox version is cancelled but the rest of the world will still get it.
August 31, 20169 yr But be carefull guys KH3 trailer will be released right after 2.8 is released. And I expect that this trailer will be very big with the first song of KH3.

Don't forget that part of a KH experience is with the console as much as the gameplay. Not only will the 3D aspect probably be dropped for the most part, but things that required the touch screen will have to be cut and replaced with a variant for the PS4 touch pad. And there's also the confirmation of new Dream Eaters and it's not going to be the same experience. Didn't something like this happen with Final Fantasy XIII? I think it's just the Japanese Xbox version is cancelled but the rest of the world will still get it. FFXIII was always intended to be a PS3 exclusive, but it was changed for the international release to be multiplatform. It wasn't until after the international release that a 360 port was made.

I'm glad this game is coming out Xbox One, everyone should be able to experience it. Anyway, with an Xbox one release that means the game could very well come to Microsoft Windows through steam. Whoop! PC Port! PC Port! But be carefull guys KH3 trailer will be released right after 2.8 is released. And I expect that this trailer will be very big with the first song of KH3. That hasn't been confirmed at all though.

I know it is my though. A song from KH3 or from Utada Hikaru (if she returns). But I think it is time for a new song yes. THey must know it too that is one reason why we didn't get a trailer at the E3. And since it will likely be out next year. Prepare for the best trailer .

Announcements = trailer. No matter what the announcement is, they always have a trailer. Haha.

Well Xbox One, PS4 and PC aren't so different now. The x86 architecture of consoles is the same as PC, so there's slightly less tweaking to do to get it working on Xbone and PS4. The determining factor for KH on Steam is Disney.
September 5, 20169 yr Well, at least XBox gamers shall be getting their hands on Kingdom Hearts III, so that's good!
