During a Tokyo Game Show

, a new Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ trailer premiered. This trailer featured both gameplay and cutscenes in a variety of worlds and new voiced dialogue from the character Chirithy.

This is where our story began. Based on the prophecy, the five disciples undertook missions from their master’s teachings and formed their own unions. After Heartless began to appear, they began to collect Keyblade wielders who shared their mindsets and asked them to collect the “light”.

 

This same dialogue can be found in the issue of Famitsu Weekly that released on September 17th, used as a description for Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover which was announced to be a part of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue at SCEJA's 2015 press conference.

So it was Chirithy. So does this mean that X Back Cover will be about Unchained and not some Forteller point of view thingy everyone seems to be talking about?

    I don't see the point in releasing another trailer for a mobile game that's already been released in Japan for Japan. Just give out a projected release date for internationals already.

    Yeah that's great and all, but what about the English release Square!? I'm pretty sure Japanese fans are well aware that they can play the game by this point, but what about us? You gotta give us at least SOME kind of release window.

    The trailer shows story not currently available in UX. So it's relevant for the Japanese market to promote future story updates.

    he will just be the narrator, it will still be about them.

     

    maybe we should call that era the "fairy tale era" then

    Maybe square enix will release an English version of the trailer with a release date. I'm predicting we'll get the game next month since it was announced for North America in June.
