what is the deal with putting a selfie mode in games these days

Most Australian slang is cringe-y enough…if they actually call these “selfies” in-game I’m probably going to pause the game and facedesk for a full 10 minutes.

“How do you do, fellow kids!”

I said this before, I was not that excited about taking selfies at first but now... This pictures are so cool that it actually is exciting for me. And also those Remy cutscenes tho, I really thought he might just pop up like Stitch did and he would just be there for some reason, but seeing Remy actually being implemented into the story it's quite nice :D

Pretty happy that camera mode is not just limited to selfies, not that I mind the selfies. Will be taking a lot of pictures in the Caribbean.

Seeing Sora doing a selfie is gonna to be an interesting experience. He's happy in the selfie but he's gonna to be depress and cry when he after his fight with Master Xehanort.

Yeah, that does sound about right, lol.

In all seriousness though, I had an issue with the idea at first since it seems like every major game has to do this kind of thing now (like Final Fantasy XV and Horizon Zero Dawn as much as I adore those games). But after seeing more of the selfies theyve grown on me. It seems like a fun thing to include.

Like Life is Strange's dialogue? Which is another Square Enix property. xD Even as someone who generally enjoyed that game the dialogue is....ya....

Or honestly how they talk in Twilight Town can sometimes be like that. "That was undeniable proof that we totally owned you lamers."

Weren't selfies popular in the late 2000s and in 2010?

I don’t even know where it’s from, I just saw it on a bunch of photos being spread around. Also, that particular line of dialogue you mentioned was supposed to be cringe-y, so it doesn’t really count.

Well, that's a relieve.
