  1. Just because it meets the requirements to become a law doesn't mean it's a good idea.
  2. It's either support Obamacare and let the entire country go to shit, or not support Obamacare and let the entire country go to shit. Pick your poison. Liberals need to learn how the election process works in this country. Everytime a Republican wins the left acts like there is some kind of conspiracy in play. No my friends, it's called the electoral college. It allows for a democratic election to take place while still retaining a bit of logic and sanity, something that the left is severely lacking in. The reason why Republicans are vehemently trying to shoot down Obamacare is because anyone with a basic understanding of economics and history knows that it's going to take our already stagnate economy, and punch it in the dick. Of course, I think the Republicans should let Obamacare pass, that way in 2016 they can say "we told you so" and get someone that's actually competent in the oval office and purge our senate of idealist who like to pass entire bills based entirely on the title.
  3. The only time they'll make a Team Fortress 3 is when they can no longer update Team Fortress 2, in other words, when it stops being their most successful game of all time. Team Fortress 2 is as strong as ever, I doubt we can expect a third to come along any time soon, mainly because we don't need one.
  4. Before I make this post, there will be 4 posts in this thread. This thread was posted on the first of October. 4-1 = 3 Half Life 3 confirmed.
  5. In World War 2 a nationalized Germany (Nazis) began to conquer the rest of Europe in an effort to make the rest of Europe concede to allegedly superior culture and genetics. In The Last Airbender, Firelord Sozin starts the hundred years war because he believes the whole world would benefit from being entirely Fire Nation, the same way Hitler believed Europe would be better off if everything and everyone was German. Throughout WW2 the Nazi's begin to commit mass genocide against the Jewish population. In The Last Airbender, The Fire Nation completely wipe out every single Air Nomad apart from out titular protagonist. The Nazi's also had technological superiority throughout the war, especially in tanks and aircraft design. The Fire Nation were the first to use tanks and build airships for combat. The Nazi's tried winning the war through the creation of a Wunderwaffe, or Wonder Weapon. Designs ranged from advanced rockets to massive guns the size of buildings, all hilariously impractical. The Fire Nation tries similar ideas as well, such as building a giant drill to get through the inpenetrable walls of Ba-Sing Sei. The Nazi's are ultimately defeated when the three major powers at the time, the US, England, and the Soviet Union (along with the help of smaller countries and resistance fighters of course) all team up to put Hitler in his place. The Fire Nation is only defeated when the Avatar assembles a team consisting of the Water Tribe, Earth Kingdom, and even members of the Fire Nation, as well as himself representing the Air Nomads. Now lets go onto Avatar: The Legend of Korra The antagonist of Season 1 are a radical group known as The Equalist. Lead by their leader Amon, who can take away people's bending, they strive to create a truly equal society. This clearly draws from the Bolshevik Revolution and all of the other major communist revolutions that took place during the Cold War. Most Equalist supporters not only come from non-benders but from the working class. Many of them work in factories and other labor jobs. In the real world, most supporters of communism stem from this same class. A major slogan in communism being, "The workers will rise!". In the end of Season 1, Amon is defeated primarily because he is exposed to be a waterbender, a blood bender to be specific. This contradicts himself and immediately causes his support to wane. A major problem with communism was that "Some people were more equal than others". While Russian peasants and laborers toiled in barely livable conditions, Stalin and other Soviet leaders lived in absolute luxery. Amon wanted to rid the world of benders when he himself was a bender. In both cases, people caught on to these inequalities and realized the failure of communism or equalism in The Legend of Korra. Yet the connection to the Cold War doesn't end there. While it's too early to say anything definitive, Season 2 of The Legend of Korra is centered around the Nothern Watertribe trying to unify with the Southern Watertribe, by force if necessary. The Southern Watertribe is willing to resist. And so, we have the same situation between North and South Korea.
  6. Even Girls und Panzer payed tribute to Power Rangers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tx2UN6rO7sI Be sure to turn on captions.
  7. Hey don't knock it till you try it bud. This really works! And while you can't download more RAM, deleting System32 WILL make your computer much faster. I went from not being able to play minesweeper to being able to play Crysis 3 on max settings! Why would we joke about Apple's legendary technology? That would disgrace the spirit of Steve Jobs!
  8. 3DS, because the Vita has no games, at all. Maybe two or three.
  9. I don't have a problem with it at all. Though I feel the couple should have met in person at one point or another or are planning on doing so. Even if they don't it's still totally cool. Personally, I think a strictly online relationship demonstrates the honesty and faith in each other that the couple has. A lot of trust is involved, more so than in a in person relationship because there is no way to know the person is who they say they are and that they are being loyal to you. You just have to have faith.
  10. I didn't believe it at first, but I tried it with my Iphone and it really worked!
  11. If I could eat the candy without worrying about the health implications, definitely the candy. If not, I'm more or less fine the way things are now, games can get boring after a while
  12. I know betrayal far too well I'm afraid. Basically, it's when someone that you trusted a lot wound up going against you, someone you would never expect in all your years.
  13. Here's an unpopular opinion. Nothing in KH ever makes sense. EVER. The more you explain it, the less sense it makes. Just roll with it.
  14. AND THEN EVERYTHING CHANGED WHEN THE NORTHERN WATER TRIBE ATTACKED
  15. Good deeds like this mean the terrorist lose. They wanted to spread chaos, fear, and hatred. Instead they got generosity, bravery, and compassion.
  16. You guys realize strippers and prostitutes have been pole dancing for like 70 or 80 years now right? Maybe even longer than that? This isn't some old art that modern society has ruined. I know not all people pole dancing are strippers, but come on.
  17. During the 3 years I played Battlefield 2142, I accumulated the equivalent of 2 months straight worth of play time.
  18. Poland ball can into WW1 better.
  19. Everytime I greet my lady for the first time in the day.

My lady sent me selfies on her first day of school, so to be fair I sent her selfies of myself on my first day of school. Brace yourselves, this might hurt.
