There is no denying the impact Apple and the AppStore have had on gaming. Sure it's not "hardcore" gaming, but the short, fun experiences the games provide brings gaming back to it's arcade roots. And their reach to a much larger number and age range of consumers cannot be denied. So although I much prefer playing PlayStation and look more forward to the PS4 than the next Angry Birds, I think Apple, and now Google with Android, will continue to have a big impact on gaming.

I can understand why comic book enthusiasts are PO'd, because if a film changed a key plot point in a movie adaptation of a novel I love, then I'd be annoyed. Okey dokey, let's begin. The whole idea of no violence against women is made on the basis that the majority of women are smaller and physically weaker than men, and therefore it is much easier for a man to be physically threatening to a woman than another man. In a way, it's similar to how hitting children is wrong, because they're so much smaller and more defenseless. In the case of that image you posted, the statement, I believe, is referring to domestic related issues. As in, "it doesn't matter what she did to displease you," as opposed to, "women can do whatever the hell they want without consequences." So the picture is good because it promotes a less violent outlook on life, but as others have stated there are situations where hitting a woman (or anybody) can be seen as not bad. E.g. getting physically assaulted by a women, possibly with a weapon. So yeah, in conclusion, the point to take away from this image is, just because women are 'weaker' than you doesn't mean you can physically exercise your authority towards them. You wouldn't do it to a guy who was just as big as you; you wouldn't do it to a child; so don't do it to anyone.
