  1. That's basically it. It's answering the questions 'is this game still fun to play today' and 'would someone new to the game enjoy it as much as I did'. Some games such as Tetris have aged incredibly well since the gameplay and graphics still hold up today while others (mainly the first wave of 3D games) are ugly and play poorly. It's about playing old games and seeing if they are still enjoyable. They don't matter to new games but it's something interesting to do with old games you used to like.
  2. I think that the 3000 jewels for 10 medals you are guaranteed to get at least a few high level and rare medals. I've had a few daily deals where I get nothing but crap. So I think I will try and save up for one of the 3000 jewel packs and hopefully get some more valuable drops. I should hopefully get something I want.
  3. Doctor Strange. It is also a film property I would like in a future KH game.
  4. Osaka did some things better than the original KH team so I'm not worried at all. I don't like copy-paste gameplay so the fact that they experimented on the handheld entries means that hopefully KH3 will have an interesting style unlike the games we have seen before.
  5. Sorry, I was given a request by another party which had 20+ people so I joined that one. Hope you find a group to play with or more people join yours.
  6. I'm at about 80. I started a few days after the launch so I'm a bit behind. Crazy how people have already finished all the levels though o.O
  7. How much free space do you have on your phone? You need at least 1.1 GB free space
  8. Cool. Hopefully me buying a few frivolous things won't hurt me too much in the long run. It's interesting that the two genders have different avatar boards, though. I didn't check until later that they are actually different because, if I was designing the game, I would have both genders unlock at the same time. It was only when I had completely filled up one board that I realized that they were separate.
  9. I don't know. I guess it makes sense that there are corridors of light if there are corridors of darkness. It might be a form of travel that has been forgotten in the present time.
  10. I have been playing as a male so my upgrading has focused primarily on cosmetic items for my gender. I just realized that, if you care about being competitive, the best way to spend your Avatar points would probably be on pre-item upgrades for every item you can (even on the opposite gender). Do people think that the best use of Avatar points is doing this or are there specific upgrades after items which are worth the cost of spending 20+ points on cosmetic stuff which you won't use? It would be interesting if someone did a cost analysis on each upgrade and came up with an optimal upgrade path. I guess at the end of the day you will eventually get every upgrade but I'm just thinking early-mid game.
  11. I'll join yours but I might quit if I get accepted into a different party. ID: 360965 Nickname: jayz0ned
  12. ID: 360965I started a bit late but I'll play at least a few hours a day. http://i.imgur.com/6ujqrQ1.jpg
  13. I don't think he wants exclusive servers, just to have a version in the European/Australian app stores. It would make everything easier if you could download it directly. There are some things such as weekend events which would be good if it matched the actual time of the country it is being played in.
  14. It could also be a problem with older phones too.
  15. It's still good to know that more content is coming. People were asking if we were up to date or not so it's good that he answered.
  16. Have you tried using a VPN or something? You might be able to get around the tracking that they do to decide you not in NZ/Australia.
  17. I don't think we are guaranteed to be part of the beta. It'll probably take a few days/weeks before they email people who they have chosen.
  18. Gamespot have reported that residents of New Zealand and Australia can now sign up to be part of the testing phase of Pokemon Go. Sign up to be part of field testing here: http://pokemongo.nianticlabs.com
  19. Dragon Ball Super has been so good recently. I love the new material... all the new fighters are great characters.
  20. I think it will probably be 2-3 years. I don't think Sora will ever be much older than early 20's unless they get a new protagonist.
  21. I'm not denying there is a difference between 30fps and 60fps just that the previous KH games were 30fps and no-one complained about it. Maybe your original statement was poorly worded and you were complained about the 30fps gameplay of the previous KH games.
  22. Developers care about sales and critical reception: some of the most well receieved games run at 30fps. Eg: GTAV, TLOU, Witcher 3, etc. 30fps games also sell just as well as their 60fps counterparts. They have no reason to aim for 60fps but every reason to stick to 30fps. It's sad but true. I think what is most important is a consistent 30fps. OP didn't even know that the KH games are 30fps so obviously he isn't too observant. Most people only notice when the game staggers, suffers frame rate drops, or runs at sub-30fps framerates.
  23. 30fps has always been the standard for games. Even if these consoles were twice as powerful the framerate would still likely be 30fps for most games. The extra power would be put towards improving the graphics even more. The only study to be done about graphics, frame-rate, sales, and review scores was done by Insomniac and their conclusions were: - A higher framerate does not significantly affect sales of a game. - A higher framerate does not significantly affect the reviews of a game. Graphics, on the other hand, does affect review scores. I think that what Square Enix should do is make sure the game runs at a stable 30fps. At least this way when the game releases on PC it will have better graphics than it would have had if their target was 60fps.
  24. KH1 has sold 8 million and KH2 sold 5.5 million so it's not too bad. About as good as Tomb Raider and Just Cause, and better than Hitman, Dragon Quest, and Deus Ex.
  25. This would probably be the most expensive game ever made if that is the case. Publishers get $30-40 per game sold so the total cost would be about $350 Million which is more than COD MW2, GTAV, and FFVII.
