The Kingdom Key is a keychain. Just like Terra, Aqua, and Ven were able to use any of the Disney world's keychain's at the same time. Xion's 'keyblade' was never used in dual wielding. Her death merely awakened Roxas's ability to use both Sora's (which at one point he didn't have to use Ven's) and Ven's keyblade.

These sort of questions are difficult to answer because both the aesthetics and cannonical significance have to be adressed, but essentially the reason this is all their base keyblade so to speak is because they are related to Sora. Now, to go into more specifics some loophole logic makes its way into the series that really just doesn't make sense but you can take it as you will. Looking back at bbs, Ven's keyblade was a variation of the Kingdom Key. It shouldn't have been a variation of anything because he was the original and there was no reason or predetermined fate in which the true form would appear. Aqua's and Terra's weren't variations like Ven's was to the kingdom key so its clear that this was just a little glitch in the aesthetics of the story, but it did a nice job with symbolizing Ven's character, which you could say was predetermined by the creator. Then for some reason the true form of Ven's keyblade is with Riku but honestly with this just go with your thoughts. The reason Xion and Roxas both use that keychain was explained by CrownKeeper, and Mickey's kingdom key D I suspect could be attributed to the possibility of Mickey accessing Sora's inner key and summoning it in the realm of darkness.

Text Lu Xun's stories : The Future Can Be Changed!
keystrike replied to Lu Xun's topic in Creative Media
Just read chapters 1 and 2.1 I'm really enjoying how the story is setting up. By that I mean everything that gets you thinking about what the next chapters will hold. Keep it up. -
KH3D Kingdom Hearts 3D will probably be released on March 28.

I've heard this theory before. As likely as it sounds I'd feel a bit rooked if this was the only part of the tenth anniversary. -
KHBbS BbS Vol. 2. To be or not to be?
keystrike replied to Keyblade101's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I wouldn't expect the wait to be too long relative to kh3d or kh3. If the pattern continues bbsv2 won't be a main game and they've been thinking about it for how many years now so maybe a bit more than a year to develop? -
Its usually a dollar sometimes good demos are even free. Arguably you are getting more bang for your buck.

KH3D Yet another KH3D theory
keystrike replied to Keyblade Master Xine's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
That joke is as old as Kairi's grandma. Get with the game. It's like saying the unknown of Kh1 was pluto. but in all seriousness YMX does seem like the most obvious choice. -

You aren't very up to date with news are you? Its a good idea to look back in the forum's history before making a new thread, but nonetheless I do enjoy this song. -
I feel more inclined to think this is the Riku Replica. Both Xion and Repliku were replicas of Sora and Riku respectively, but how they came to be these people's replica's should be distinguished. Both started out as dolls. The Riku Replica was given new artificial memories by Namine, while Xion absorbed memories from Sora and her surrounding's. Repliku obviously didn't have any disturbing gender swapping and had a stable identity. All of his memories were his. Sure they were fake and all, but still his own. Xion on the other hand had her existence entirely based on other people's memories inside her. None of it was her own, and in the end she had to give it back. This brings up the question: Where did Repliku go? I say he went to the realm of sleep. Nobody dies in kh, not even evil Disney characters practically (i.e. Maleficent, Oogie Boogie, Jafar, Hades, Ursula, need I go on?). Of course he could be dead just by not being introduced again, but what sort of a plot is that where you create a replica just to be a filler for one game.

The spirit of a materialistic Christmas.
keystrike replied to kalnet's topic in Random & Forum Games
Oddly enough, not one comment complaining about the coal they got in their stockings. I suppose getting black gold isn't bad anymore. -
Aside from a stylistic perspective, which I will shortly express my excitement for getting his old look back, it really goes to show how Riku's moving on. You don't think he's gotten used to that hair to? Its a bit hard to steer clear of sounding corny, but its become a part of him. I'm sure that with this new look, we'll see Riku grow too. Anyways, BBSV2 will surely offer more new scenes of his long hair look if you are going to miss it that much.

The light from the cornerstone should destroy her as it did to the heartless in kh2, especially if it's existence isn't being derailed from the past so to speak. Until I see more, I'm not going to theorize.

I completely agree. Actually not so much on the state of its development, but I don't see much more evidence on any one side to sway me.

KH1 "I know now, without a doubt, kingdom hearts is light!"
keystrike replied to mfampait's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
"the keyblade alone cannot seal the door to darkness" because the dtd has to be sealed with both the keyblade of the realm of light and the realm of darkness. *must... resist... caps* alright. I feel completely the same way about telling you guys about how it is kingdom hearts. First of all I'll explain the trinity to avoid that "hey you just contradicted yourself argument" even though I completely agree that I will violate logic. The Trinity is The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, and they are all God, but each of them are not eachother. This diagram should explain it, well, the relationship at least. What I am saying is that the DTL, the DTD, and the actual moon floating above whatever are all like the father, son and holy spirit in the diagram while Kingdom Hearts in essence is God. I'd imagine you can agree with all I am saying at this point (not really much to dissagree with) except for that the DTL and DTD being two different doors. The Door to Darkness only lets darkness and beings of darkness pass, while the Door to Light only lets light, and beings of light pass. Nomura explained this in KH1's ultimania when explaining why Riku and the King didn't just walk right through to the realm of light when the door was open right there and referenced Ansem's computer in the End of the World (actually Hollow Bastion accessed by the World Terminus) as in game proof. It also just doesn't make sense for Sora to open the same door that he just sealed. And also, huh? Are we agreeing or disagreeing on kingdom hearts being artificial or not? You seem to say they were just representations of kingdom hearts (which I agree with) but you also say they weren't artificial. I can't find the interview right now, but I was almost positive it was said they were brought about artificially, both the kingdom hearts in one and two. I might have just made it up, but its so weird because I so vividly remember that interview. Anyways, I think we are just disagreeing on the definition of artificial. I'm saying artificial not in the sense that this isn't fake, but just that it was brought about by unnatural means. I consider the KIngdom Hearts that we have seen so far to just be hearts that as Saix said "we've together to make kingdom hearts" and by the time it has collected that many hearts it has assumed an existence as Kingdom Hearts (if that makes any sense). The Kingdom Hearts in Birth by Sleep was artificial as a complete and perfect assembly of all the world's hearts (special thanks to the x-blade). The Kingdom Hearts in kh1 is a bit more confusing. Just as Saix said, the heartless would gather hearts until the hearts made kingdom hearts. That Kingdom Hearts, woven from the hearts of the worlds taken by the heartless, lied at the center of The End of the World, the deep abyss, and took the form of the DTD. It just doesn't make sense for the light to be able to pass through the dtd which only lets darkness pass, and why Ansem would need to call to kingdom hearts through the dtd to the kingdom hearts in the realm of darkness if he has access to the realm of darkness at anytime in the first place. Then again, in com mickey said something about seeing the light far off in the darkness, so that brings up some more stuff (not quite in my favor). *looks up at wall of text* but I think this is enough for now. -
KH1 "I know now, without a doubt, kingdom hearts is light!"
keystrike replied to mfampait's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Kingdom Hearts was the door itself, not the actual place behind it, that was the realm of darkness. It might be helpful to think of the relationship between the dtd/dtl and kingdom hearts similar to the trinity in the bible; same things, but at the same time, not really. It should also be mentioned that the dtd or kingdom heats was also artificial so while it was kingdom hearts it wasn't the real kingdom hearts. (sorry for being confusing there). Anyway the exact way the light shined through remains a mystery because the dtd only lets darkness pass except it clearly shows light shining through. Think of it what you will. -
Just to clarify a couple of things... Xemnas needed the organization to complete Kingdom Hearts. As evident in Days, everybody (especially the first six) contributes to his goal. Of course, it really didn't have anything to do with helping the members getting their hearts back and it was entirely one of Xemnas/Xehanorts machinations, but that makes sense. One of the major themes of BBS was a second chance. All of the main characters fell "asleep" per se and need to wake from their torment. No doubt the titles are related, but I wouldn't say that the title Birth By Sleep had no meaning by the game itself. I recall reading a report on the demo talking about how its related to the drop gauge just running out. Hmm, that is an interesting concept. Extremely interesting actually. I don't think Ven's heart ever left Sora's body nor do I think that Ven's body ever left Castle Oblivion, but based on the trailer, I wouldn't be at all surprised with some plot twist pertaining to dreams.

So BBSV2: For starters, this game is about as confirmed as KH3, so technically not, be realistically, I would highly doubt it not being a game. This game is all about the blank points of the series and won't be at all restricted to the worlds falling to darkness as evident in the ending of the Secret Episode. Scenarios centered around Aqua, Mickey, and Riku seem the most probable, but if it is restricted to only two I would expect a combination of Aqua and either Mickey or Riku. Worlds will be those that have fallen to darkness and have since been revisited by Riku or Mikcey such as Castle of Dreams, Land of the Dragons, or Beast's castle along with some original worlds including the dark realm. It will not be on the level of a numbered title (since the first game their has been a pattern of main-side-main-side etc. and this game is literally taking place to the side of the main story) so we might expect bold new gameplay unless they put it together in a rush akin Re:coded. Multiplayer? Sure, though' I really don't know how they will do it. New heartless, new keyblades, secrets... all without a doubt. As for the MF, no way... actually, even though his existence will probably be dealt with in kh3d, elaborating on him in this game wouldn't be a bad idea.

I hate it when that happens.

Update: Sony Confirms Jak & Daxter PS3 Collection
keystrike replied to Deadshot's topic in General Discussion
I really hope this remaster spawns a new game with dignity for once, not some spin off car battle/racing game, or one nearly entirely independent of the other games' plots. That's just not what you do with such a great series. -
I've unlocked all, that is, as long as the final mixes don't count.

I was actually responding to your first post, and when I submitted it. It wasn't until after I posted that I saw that about Texas. If you are going to try to prove a highly accepted theory wrong, I would suggest you to be the one to come up with the vast amounts of specific evidence from multiple sources, because we have already done that. Also, you might save us all some time by anticipating and refuting our points.
