In honor of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days' cinematic re-release in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, I thought maybe I could try another attempt at doing a film version of it like my post with Dream Drop Distance. Here's a preview of the screenplay (be sure to be on lookout for some RoxasxXion, dialogue from goldpanner's translation novels, OCs and a juxtaposing of The City That Never Was being surrounded/taking place in 1932-33 New York City): Recently removed to avoid theft.

Then we would have a sexy female villain for the Xehanort saga.

I just hope they give capes for TAV's armor since the PS3/4 will have a faster and stronger frame rate than the PSP, which is why they were omitted in the first place right? Maybe perhaps give younger voices and models to Terra ,Ventus and Aqua for flashbacks?

You were expecting him to say something more grown up for Kingdom Hearts like "I love you." ?

And older or mature Sora, I hear? Does this mean we'll be seeing less and less of his optimistic or highly comical side and he'll be about 18 to 24 years old?

Similar to how Riku's haircut is a Japanese custom to how it symbolizes a new beginning to that person, Kairi's small amount of screen time might have something similar. When in Japan, women like her have less freedom (I think) like not fighting in war or going to geisha houses. If a film adaptation of KH: DDD was made, would you give Kairi more screen time?

Didn't anyone get my answer? Kairi's limited actions might have something to do with Japanese tradition. (In case you have not forgotten, Kingdom Hearts is a J-A-P-A-N-E-S-E game.)

Do they say that in the original direct Japanese translation? You can never tell if it is rewrite the translators made up of the original dialogue sounded a little stilted.

Don't any of you think they could electronically raise the pitch of Haley's voice by five octaves high? (when I mean raise the pitch, I mean sort of like how they make the Chipmunk's and the Chipette's voices, high and squeaky) Also, I think Hayden's voicing Xion since they were meant to share the same voice actress, and since Jesse's not getting any younger, they should have his little bro Timothy to play Roxas and Ventus. As for Axel and the rest of the 13th Order, I would consider more notable choices if you know what I mean. If there's a new voice I want to give Sora, it's CJ Adams from The Odd Life of Timothy Green. I am making any sense to you? Oh well, soon you'll see!

Do you think that quote explains a lot about Kairi being "useless"? Or why you think this series is so "sexist"? For a more detailed explination look up the role of females in Japan.

I don't believe Roxas should become his own person, he should stay within Sora and act as his inner voice as the ending of KH2 intended. It may help make the game less confusing, or not. Besides even if the clothes matter, how would you be able to tell Ven and Roxy apart? There should be only ONE person with the same facial features, hair style color and voice.

Why not? At least you now have a major woman/girl villain other than Maleficent or Larxene and might consider Tyler to be the kind of underling who is surprisingly smarter than the villain (the kind that realizes the flaws of their plans). As of the relatives, it seems I have supported the long standing theory of Ventus being related to Sora (I thought of him as being Sora's father, but I guess the idea of them being brothers is more acceptable). For the historical stuff, well, I like period films, I've somewhat compared The City That Never Was/Dark City to Depression era New York City in King Kong (2005) and for some of you who think the series is somewhat sexist, I would think it takes place in a time period when females had less civil rights (which would make one explanation as to why Kairi has less activity in some of the later games like DDD, but hasn't it occured to any one of you that it may have something to do with women's rights in Japan or something?) Either way would it make a good movie?

Thanks for your appreciation, I mean it does follow the story of the video game very faithfully, even if there are some events and scenes ommitted. But at least I added some fanservice and who knows? Maybe I'll do a second draft: this time, Kairi joins Sora and Riku for the Master Qualification/Mark of Mastery Exam, then maybe she won't be so much of a useless character anymore. I like to invite you all to a little script I came up for a movie version of KH3D: DDD, note that I used a few OC's extra Disney and TWEWY characters, omitted some events and even a World War II setting with historical characters as well as the original Japanse translations because I felt it would be more epic if not less childish like the official English script we all know and love. But at least I gave Kairi a little more screentime. The original Japanese translation (into English) could have a different meaning then the official English translation.

Any good reason as why Lea wanted Keyblade in the first place? (now that oughta please a few fangirls)

From what I've seen in the original Japanese translation, Mickey says something that could be translated as (to Xehanort) "It's your fault those three youths lives were changed forever!" and when he is counting how many lights: "those three missing people." I guess it was changed as those words didn't sound good.

I think so too. I didn't write this in my screenplay for Kingdom Hearts 3D (Which I thought of having a World War II setting because I like period films, it'd be more epic and because of female restrictions during that time period to what I think is making Kairi a somewhat "useless character") But I might ad-lib a scene where Riku looks at himself in a mirror, sees Ansem's/Xemnas'/Xehanort's reflection (like one scene in The Watcher in The Woods) and wanting to bury his experience with the darkness beyond sight of memory, he cuts his hair using a safari knife over an ornate table. (as what I had described)

Many fanfictions have implied the Gummi Ship, but I in writing a screenplay for Kingdom Hearts 3D which is set during World War II, I put in Sora and Riku going to the Mysterious Tower via RMS Queen Elizabeth (during her time as a troopship) to Twilight Town, and then took the train, but I don't think I wrote that in.

Unless if you are discussing why she stayed behind in Dream Drop Distance and didn't at least witness Sora and Riku's exam next to Mickey, Donald and Goofy. I guess it might have had something to do with that "you can't go" speech/argument she had with Sora in KH1. (All because of the fact that females in Japan have less civil rights then males? That or I like to think Kingdom Hearts takes place in a period setting where women had less activity then men, like improper things such as smoking, voting, fighting in wars, etc)

Does anyone think the Nightmare Armor should have a cape? Is it possible if the crew decided the Keyblade Armor being without capes for the final design?

I would love to see Sora turn to the dark side in KH3, his failure to become a master, his thoughts over helping people and maybe even losing Kairi to Riku might provoke him to become Vanitas.
