    Peopel are putting way too much stock in this opeening. I mean yeah, sure it's lit, but when have KH opens ever been literal? They always either just foreshadow events to come or review the series as a whole and the CG opennings do this in a stylized manner. Example, Yes, Aqua fought Ven and Terra, but not at the same time. So no, Sora is not literally going to be pulling Aqua out of the water at Destiny Islands, but he will save her. And as other have said, the chess game is how KH3 starts.

    You jumped the gun. I was in the process of editing in a quote when you responded. I'm not saying he was the Master of Masters, just Eraqus and Xehanort's Master, there's no reason to beleive that the Master of Masters is the one who trained them. Like Young Xehanort said, Keyblades are passed down through generations, who knows how many people could have had that one between Luxu and Xehanort. Even with a direct route, the Master of Masters could have passed it to Luxu, Luxu to Yen Sid, Yen Sid to Xehanort. Besides, Yen Sid was already retired before he started training Mickey, he must have had other students before him, he didn't become a Master and the immediately retire, that would be kind of ridiculous. And we only know of two Keyblade Masters that where around while he was active. And it's funny you bring up Gandalf/Sauron because I see it as more of a Dumbledore/Voldemot kind of deal. He had no idea all the harm Xehanort would do so now he's tryign to fix his mistake, like Dumbledore did with Harry. But did he tell Harry right away, "Hh by the why the guy who tried to kill you was my student. I scouted him myself"? No, he waited until it was neccessary and Harry could handle it. And we all know Yen Sid never reveals anything until he has to. He's only just now telling Riku and Kairi about Terra, Aqua and Ven, because only now is it neccessary for them to know. Also, master and friend do not have to be mutually exclusive relationships. After Eraqus successeded Yen Sid as the keeper of the Land of departure they could have become peers and freinds becasue there was nocause for the formality of a student/teacher relationship anymore. Going back to Harry Potter, look at Hagrid and Dumbledore. Dumbledore was Hagrid's teacher, but they also became friends.

    I suspect Yen Sid. He knew Xehanort as a student, knew how rebellious he was, and him being retired while Eraqus and Xehanort where still active Masters says to me he's from a previous generation before them. I also wouldn't mind a time skip, about 3 years to really make it feel separate. I can almost see the online description now. It's been 3 years since Sora and his friends defeated Xehanort and for the first time in over a decade the worlds have truly been at peace. Heartless, Nobodies and various other creatures of Darkness have all but vanished from the Realm of Light. But suddenly the great scorcerer Yen Sid, and King Mickey Mouse have sesned a shift in the balance of light and darkness. Strange new creatures have been appearing all over the worlds, and Sora willl have to once again leave his peaceful, idyllic life on the Destiny Island to face this new, unknown threat. ~ A New Story Begins Or, something like that. You don't think BC will cover that? And even if it isn't didn't Nomura say all remainig mysteries in the series thus far would be resolved in KH3?

    I actually kind of hope not. I'd like the next saga to be completly separate, nothign connecting them except Sora being the mainc character. Having a hint at the next saga at the end of KH3 would still make it feel connected, like it's still part of the same storyline, you know?

    Maleficent challenged Aqua by saying "See for yourself all the powers of Hell!" In this case it's likely Frollo as he's a religious zealot. It's important to note that in both of these contexts, "Hell" is used as a proper noun, not an explative.

    Gummi Ships where confirmed in the same leak that confired 2.8 (as 2.9) But that leak also said 2.9 would have Attraction Flow and we havn't seen that in any trailers for 2.8. But I'm pretty sure Gummi Ships will come back it's just one of those this that's expected from a numbered title like the command menu and I think Square knows that.

    2.8. Not every fan is goign to double dip for 1.5+2.5. More will buy 2.8 becasue of the new stories. Some won't buy either and will wait for KH3

    I hope not. I love havign physical copies of all my KH games. Ux I understand because it's smart phone game, but for a cosole or handheld, I want a hard copy.

    So, umm, I think I may have possibly found what might be part of the KH3 box art. Or at least a hint to it. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/61dfRwTTpVL._AC_SL1500_.jpg Now, I know it's not the typical Nomura style, but this image exists nowhere in any of the trailers (the annoincement trailer did have a similar looking shot but there where no shooting starts) It does fit the theme of the HD box arts. But I could be, and probably am, totally wrong.

    Hey guys, I just realized. We all know that the 0.2 opening is gorgeous, but imagine how it will look in 4K! I mean, the official upload only goes up to 1080p on YouTube right? Man it just makes me want the Pro that much more.

    Personally, I think that new line is due to the VA strike. Hayden may have demanded that Square not reuse her audio files, meaning they'd have to completely re-record Kairi with a different actress. I doubt there will be any difference at all, but I'd like the KHFM scenes voiced and a friggin' theatre mode for KH It is literally the only game in the series that does't have a theater mode for any version of it. But like I said, not happening.

    That is not Hayden Pannetierre. The voice it totally different, if it was an unused line she should have still sounded like she did when she recorded it 15 years ago. She was slightly more nasaly back then compared to now and she voiced Kairi more tomboyishly. This girl is giving her a softer, more feminine quality. She says a different line in the KH2 part as well. Instead if saying "This is real" she says "You're really here?" I think what happened is, because of the voice actor strike, Hayden demanded that they not use the voice clips they had on file for her in the port. That's why it's only Kairi's lines that are different.

    I think I know why Kairi's voice is different in the 1.5+2.5 trailer. The voice acer strike Maybe Hayden is part of it and demanded that they not use her voice files. Don't know why they would completely change the line though.

      It may just be me but almost all the lines in it sound different, like with differnet tones and such almost as if they were all recorded

      Well for one, the girl voicing Kairi in the PS4 version is less nasaly than Hayden, especially noticeable in the first game, second, the new girl is bringing a softer, more feminine quality to Kairi's voice rather than the tomboyish approach Hayden took, third, and most noticably, the lines where completely rewritten. Instead of "Don't forget, wherever you go,I'm always with you" in KH1 it's " Don't forget, I'll have you in my thoughts" and instead of...

    Funny thing is, the castle shown at the beginning of Disney films is Cinderella's Castle, the one from Disney World in Florida and most of the other Magic Kingdoms around the world. I think Disney Land in California is the only one to use a different castle, specifically Sleeping Beauty Castle.     I was hoping that if ther was ever a 1.5/2.5 bundle for the PS4, that Days and Re:coded would be playable. I'd have been happy to wait until after KH3 to give them the time they needed to do so. Ah well, Maybe there will be a Dark Seeker Cronicle bundle somwhere down the line that has Days, Re:coded and Back Cover playable. Still happy about th eport thouhg, Now the only decision is wether to pre-order now or wait until January.

    Notice that Power form is red and Guard form is yellow? I wonder if that means they're keepign the same color theme. If so then I guess we'll be gettign a blue on and a white one too. Maybe a dark one and a retro one as well. But, this is all I need for KH3 news. I'm good until launch now.

    Hey guys whats up? I was thinking about how similar the Nightmare Dream Eater Emblem is to that of the Unversed. I first noticed it when playing 3D for the first time and even made a status about it, but at the time it was merely an interesting little detail. But now that x is done and we know that Ventus is somehow connected, I have a theory as to why they're so similar. So as we know, Nomura confirmed that the Heartless and Nobody emblem where both based off of Terra's memories of the mark he, Aqua, Ven and Eraqus wore on their clothes I'm thinking now, if Ventus was indeed the player character of x, then perhaps Vanitas did something similar, basing the Unversed emblem off of Ven's subconcious memories of the symbol he saw emblazoned on Nightmare Chirity To further the theory, although I have no basis for this other than the similar shapes and the fact the the Master of Master created Chirithy, is it possible that both Dream Eater emblems, and Terra's Mark are all based on the symbol seen on the cover of the Books of Prophecy? If that's the case, then every enemy emblem we've seen can be traced back a single symbol. What do you think? P.S. Sorry about the size and quality of the Book of Prophecies image. It was the only one the site would let me upload. If anyone has a larger, better quality image, feel free to post below.
