  1. What game were you watching? How the heck was that soccer!?
  2. Nah, that's turning Kingdom Hearts too much into Final Fantasy. Square's done a good job in keeping KH and FF separate and I think they want to keep it that way as do most fans. Although having customisation for the characters would be nice, KH runs nicely on just having different keyblades, abilities and attacks. Adding clothes and such likes is taking it a bit too far. The closest we'll get to that sort of thing was the gears in Days.
  3. Hm...now see. This is a problem I have with myself and the series. While I think that the game should played with the cartoon style to go along with the Disney style of most levels. I can't say that the CGI scenes aren't breathtaking and Square Enix can really do some amazing stuff with CGI. But, it wouldn't really be Kingdom Hearts if they did it without the cartoon style. I'm all for them continuing the way they have been with the cartoon style for almost all the game, until maybe the last cutscene or a few select special cutscenes which would look amazing with the CGI.
  4. Kingdom Hearts 1 Kingdom Hearts BBS Kingdom Hearts COM Kingdom Hearts 2 but stop at the end of Roxas' bit Kingdom Hearts Days Continuing playing Kingdom Hearts 2 starting as Sora Kingdom Hearts Coded Kingdom Hearts 3D
  5. Okay, basically what I'm going to do is edit what you've written and then I'll give you some more things to talk about. “To Kill a Mockingbird" is a classic novel full of life, humour and an insight into the cruel ways of the 1930’s. This novel is also a message to say how horribly the black people were treated ever since the Jim Crow laws came into power. It is a great book which you can buy at any bookstore. The story is from a young girl’s perspective, as over a period of years, she experiences what the 1930's were really like. The story is set in the fictional county called Maycomb located in Alabama. This is the town that the protagonist lives in, her name is Jean Louise but she has everyone refer to herself as Scout, as she wants the status that only males can have for this time. She is only about seven years old when the story started. She is then thrown into a world of chaos and disorder and she only understands as much as those around her will tell her. Scout's father, who is called Atticus, is a lawyer. In this story, Atticus is defending a black man, who is on trial for rape, but defending this black man also causes many people from town to shun him. This story is actually made based on the author’s childhood where her father also defended black people as a lawyer. When the black people her father defended were murdered, she decided to tell the world how unfair the Jim Crow laws were to the black people. Personally, I liked the part where everybody in Maycomb is panicking from a dog, which is infected with rabies. Everybody was panicking so hard, they have to talk loudly. Then Atticus saves the day. He takes out the dog with his gun skills and it's down for the count. The journey when reading this book gives you doubt on everything you know so far. It feels like you know something but it is more like the opposite. It gives the vibe that you should read more deeply or else you won’t be able to solve the mystery. This book could surely be worth your time. The way in which Atticus says his wise words is very true. He almost sounds like a monk. The most unforgettable and meaningful sentence is “Shoot all the bluejays you want, if you can hit ’em, but remember, it is a sin to kill a mockingbird.” That sentence tells you that you should not kill or harm an innocent creature. Bluejays eats the plants in your garden while mockingbirds sing their hearts out. Same as how people should have treated the black people in the past because they were innocent creatures. Yeah, I'm guessing you've actually never read the book or at the very least you're too young to really understand writing. I'm not trying to be mean here or anything so please don't take offence. For a basic foreword this isn't too bad. I would mention Jem and say a few words on some of the other characters and then finish it with an overall. Something along the lines "I like this book because..."
  6. Doing a poll on people's favourite video games on a Kingdom Hearts fan site. Isn't that going to make your results just a little bit bias? Anyway mine's KH2.
  7. Even this site says all the recent games have been spin-offs. And honestly, either there have been changes made to the game since Japan or this guy hasn't played the game. It says that you fight Ursula after you leave Yen Sid. That's not right is it? And someone's not familiar with the concept of a Keyblade Master, it would seem. And seriously? Pokemon meets Nintendogs?!? Urg, I really hate people who review something they know actually very little about, even if he's trying to make it sound better, it just doesn't seem right.
  8. Is it Shouen Anime season in Japan. There's been a lot of new ones recently.
  9. That's bloody amazing!! One of the best public service announcements I've seen in awhile.
  10. "You have to say sorry for that" No **** sherlock! But Jesus Christ, what the heck. And the language as well. And even the reaction seems really weird to me. Somebody just threw a...I'm not exactly sure what it was but seriously there was a teacher there and not a single raised voice and...oh. So very wrong.
  11. There used to be. In the UK and some parts of Europe it was called Disney Cinemagic and in other parts I think it was called Vault Disney, although I don't think that lasted very long for whatever reason. Both channels are gone now, I think it's because Disney can only afford to have three different channels going at one time.
  12. Eh, Disney channel is just one branch of Disney. They're a company that without Walt Disney needed to use more ways to increase their income and so they began to start light-hearted teen comedies and they were forced to follow the way that teens began to think and want and so we have our current Disney Channel. However, Disney isn't ruined. We still get great movies out of Disney. Just avoid their TV shows.
  13. Hm, well I didn't really get into manga until I was about thirteen maybe twelve. Actually my first manga was Kingdom Hearts Vol 1 and it actually was what got me started in the Kingdom Hearts series oddly enough. It was posted in one of those school book leaflet things (for Schoolastic I believe) you get when you have book fairs come to your school. Don't know how many schools actually have that. But you get them in Primary Schools here in England. And, that would have been when I was about nine or ten, so I didn't actually get into manga until way later. Anime on the other hand. I was raised with the selected few animes that made it to the British TV screens. That didn't really give me much choice, but I can say firmly I grew up with Digimon and Cardcaptors. Both of the series really got me interested in them and they were shows I just loved to watch over and over again, even now. In fact, I probably have a better appreciation for them now, but yeah, those shows are great even now but I don't think anyone who doesn't live in Japan gets to grow up with a huge range of anime. You grow up with only really the classics that were popular enough for the distribution to other countries.
  14. Never mind. It seems the trailer was apparently a very early copy and they're not changing as much as the 'trailer' would suggest. There's a facebook update from the producer here confirming it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOJYuA6g3BI
  15. You took that whole thing way too seriously.
  16. Oh please, there are no mothers in Kingdom Hearts, you silly ones. If there were mothers in Kingdom Hearts, do you really think that Terra, Aqua and Ven would have been allowed to go off with a pair of creepy old men. Do you really think Sora and Riku's mothers would let them go out to an island all alone together at only fifteen? I mean come on, Mothers were kids once, they know what teenagers get up to on beaches. Alone. And do you really think that the characters would all be as messed up as they are if they had maternal figures. No, no, you see in the world of Kingdom Hearts, I'm almost sure that people come from Kingdom Hearts itself. The heart, the body and the mind are all made inside Kingdom Hearts and then you get a baby who's sent to a random world and stuff. Then a daddy or a grand mother or a big sister or something comes and looks after the child. That voice you hear in Kingdom Hearts 1? That is an alarm that tells Sora when the microwaveable dinner is done. He had it done like that to pretend like he had a mother. It's pretty sad really.
  17. I didn't see a topic for this, so I'm guessing this is the first one. Xiaolin Showdown; that show with awesome kick-ass albeit kinda stereotypical main characters is coming back for a new series called 'Xiaolin Chronicles'. It is due to air Spring of next year. And it has been confirmed by several sources. It looks like the show is going to pick up where the last series poorly ended, continuing the fight of the Xiaolin warriors against the all of those who fight on the side of the Heylin while also searching for the remaining Shen Gong Wu. A trailer was apparently released for this series but it was taken down before I could actually see it to check to see how legit the trailer was. According to this trailer, a new art style is being used, some old voice actors are picking up their roles (Omi and Kimiko) but some characters are getting new voice actors (Jack Spicer). Also, apparently the trailer showed off Shen Gon Wu with changes to them and new names, something I really hope they don't do when the series actually gets finished because I hate it when a series gets changed so much it's not even the same show anymore. There are also rumours of new characters joining the cast, something that would definitely be needed and old characters who used to be recurring cast are now becoming main characters. Also something I think we can look forward to. Overall, I just really hope they keep to the basis of the old series particularly the first and second seasons rather than the third, which by the end was pretty bad if I'm being honest. So, here's hoping this series doesn't wreck good childhood memories.
  18. 12th July honestly isn't a lot of time. Some of us aren't even on holiday yet and I really doubt I could do it by the date. But a short story of about twenty pages on a word document, I think I can do it. Actually I already have a pretty good idea in mind. Going for a gay heartbreak-suicide sort of story. But, yeah, sorry Kinode but I will not be able to make it in for the 12th July, and I know you need the time for the drawing. Sorry I couldn't help but if you need me for anything else...I may try to create the story for the 12th. But I really can't promise you anything...Hope it goes well for you though whatever happens.
  19. That's kinda what I've been thinking SummerRain and I feel sorry for you wayfinder832, but hey I'm sure everything will work out in the long run.
  20. I've noticed something very odd. Whenever I'm considering to discontinue one of my fanfiction stories, I always get at least one review which makes me think. No, I can't. Every single time.
  21. I'm a 90's kid...kinda. I've seen this but I don't think I ever stuck around for the ending theme. This show seemed really rubbish to me as a kid.
  22. Yes! I seriously love Starkid productions particularly AVPM. So far the only one I've disliked out of any of their shows, is Holy Musical Batman, which just didn't do it for me.
  23. Wow, I'm getting so much hate for this... Alright fair enough, I had a lot more sarcastic and truthful comments to post but I can see there would be no point. Oh well, I've never been a people person. Good night all!
  24. First of all, I don't believe that the term 'personal' would really put across the idea of advice or something like that, so the word 'duh' isn't really nessicary but there's a huge difference between asking for advice and having a temper tantrum over a little thing that's going on in your life. Second, did you seriously just say 'duh!'? How old are you? Five? Jesus christ, I'll return to my previous statement. Grow a pair. You're immature and you need to grow up. And thirdly, I love the fact that you focused on the weakest part of my statement and didn't say one word on the rest of it.
