Kingdom Hearts 3 Reaction
Elijah Gravenhorst replied to 『R』's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
I haven't been able to close my gaping mouth ever since... -
Can someone tell whoever is in charge of the news that a new trailer for KH1.5 has been put into the lineup of youtube ads? I was just recently and pleasantly surprised by one.

This is Why I hate The American Government
Elijah Gravenhorst replied to Tails's topic in General Discussion
Well yeah that's how it is. Liberals disregard the constitution and the foundations the country should hold to like life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and then complain when programs like SOPA come back around and blame everything on libertarians and conservatives. -
KHRecoded The interesting thing about Coded
Elijah Gravenhorst replied to FightTheDarkness's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I actually played it a lot. It had a more open exploration mode than Days did and actually had a lot of depth to it. There's a ton of stuff to do after beating the game and doing it all feels great, the story is only half the experience and I didn't mind going to the same worlds they did do some really interesting stuff like mixing up the room order in Traverse town and creating a maze minigame type thing in Wonderland. Even the Sora?Mario hybrid parts of the game helped to change things up and keep it unique. I was shocked when I found out how much people hated it. -
It looks like it's the lighting to me the analog sticks could just be a little dirty in which case it shouldn't be a problem to clean them off.

How many games do you think will be in the next saga?
Elijah Gravenhorst replied to Reyn's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I would like Kingdom Hearts to become less of a joke in the gaming community. Those of us who play it know better, but people who see it jumping between portable devices write it off as a silly old idea and never even try it. It isn't considered a competitor to most other games and I want this to change. So I guess I'm saying I would rather have fewer, more polished and thought out titles rather than a multitude of smaller titles to keep the fans busy. I want to see Nomura bring Kingdom Hearts back into the competitive market. -
This is funny because it makes fun of people who try to call him out on the lies of his administration. ha... ha... ha...

I have a feeling......
Elijah Gravenhorst replied to Ceriraye's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
I think that for the very reason that Sora is too happy, a breakdown like that would be especially powerful and moving. It wouldn't be expected or predictable. Of all the characters Sora is probably the least likely to have a breakdown so I can see some tear-jerking/passion inducing opportunities in that kind of plot twist. -
PS2 cuz Kingdom Hearts

What would you guys think about a final mix DLC instead of a re-release? If you think about it, the final mixes were basically just the idea of DLC before it was a possibility. (changing/adding things to the game. Come on it's like the same thing.) Anyway I know everyone hates final mixes because they've been exclusive to Japan and all, but think about it. Nomura and the Kingdom Hearts series basically skipped the whole DLC/online crazy generation. What if they released the regular version of KH3 first so it wouldn't take as long and then when they would normally release a final mix of the game, they release a patch or DLC addition to it calling it Final MIx. What do you think? Love it? Hate it? Let me know.

We're the red raiders... our mascot is an Indian/Native American chief... Yes I'm aware it's racist.

How Good Do you Consider Yourself At Kingdom Hearts?
Elijah Gravenhorst replied to Tails's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
You generally get pretty good at something you spend all your time doing. I don't agree that Kingdom hearts games are too easy, the experience is completely what you make of it so I for one won't really know how good I am until multiplayer is a thing. -
Something I noticed about Re:COM in KH 1.5

Give in to darkness -
Oh gosh that was intentional it had to be.

We know just about jack about how the games and the consoles will turn out and how developers will work their magic. We'll just have to wait and see like everyone else but no expectations are the best expectations.

I text while gaming and doing other stuff so it's pretty even for me.

Re:coded HD 2.5 ReMIX Fanmade Screenshot
Elijah Gravenhorst replied to advfox's topic in Creative Media
I would rather have had this as a movie and Days as a game since I prefer the gameplay in Days to this I don't know I was just really disappointed with what they did with Days... -
KHRecoded Am I the only one who enjoyed this game?
Elijah Gravenhorst replied to Shulk's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I enjoyed it too. I think the only reason it got so much hate is because it didn't bring anything new or memorable to the playing field. It felt like a warmed over hybrid between Days and birth by sleep. I don't like the BBS command system thaaaaat much the thing that really made it amazing was the fast and flashy command styles that were similar to drive forms. Every game since BBS that has used this battle system has dropped that mechanic and I just don't understand. -
Well yeah 'cause those things are expensive. If I played it at a friends house and thought it was dope I would probably go out and buy it regardless of reviews. The enjoyment you can get out of a game doesn't necessarily come from the production quality or attention to detail, but reviews can give you a good idea of whether it's worth your money or not, especially if multiple reviews agree.

I don't think that it's exactly the same as earth but yeah Disney worlds are more often than not inspired by real world events/fables. So technically speaking they're all on earth but I'm willing to overlook this fact for the sake of storytelling.

I'm pretty sure that's actually what he meant. I mean come on how obvious can you be.
