  1. I would: ---Save Terra from the Norty. ---Slap the Norty twice, then kick the Norty where the sun don't shine. ---Give Aqua a firm handshake. ---Set Sora and Kairi up on a date. ---Brush Xion's hair. ---Jam with Demyx. ---Draw with Namine. ---**** Vantias. (Guy's damn sexy!) ---Give Zexion Fifty Shades of Grey. ---Give Roxas a hug and tell him all the things that nobody ever got the nerve to. ---Shoot Axel a look for not telling Roxas jank, but then forgive him and go burn Xemnas with him. ---Kill Vexen for being such a creepy old man. ---Punch Marluxia in the gut. ---Punch Larxene in the face. ---Become determined to win a game of Strip Poker against Luxord, then fail miserably and end up burning him with Axel. ---Fist bump Riku for becoming a master. ---Date Ventus.
  2. I feel like Kingdom Hearts has really been getting a hang of itself as it goes along. The gameplay develops and solidifies a little more each entry, the story tries to tie the secrets of this complex universe in with the secrets of each individual personality, and the worlds try to keep up with the overall plot but tend to fall behind. Gameplay: 5 going up signifigantly each entry. Plot: 7, because of unneeded entries and getting tangled up of itself. Worlds: 9 going down a little each entry. Graphics: 6 going up each entry. Characters: 8, because there are a couple stereotype hiccups, and we don't really see enough of what's behind the villains. World Interaction: Steady 6. I wish there were some moving parts that were just there for the sake of being there, like in Disney Town in BBS. Minigames: 9, because a lot of them actually help with the gameplay/plot, which would be a lot to say for some other games. Collection features: 8, because of how out-of-the-way you have to go to find them. I know they shouldn't outright fall into your lap, but it would be nice if you could reach more puzzle pieces, stickers, or treasure chests a little earlier in the game. OVERALL RATING: 8 going up a little each entry.
  3. That was beautiful. That was truly, genuinely beautiful. Thank you for this post.
  4. True, he'd reunite a long-lost trio if he had the chance. But (plot twist!) Xehanort is a cheater, so he'd probably just have Sora give in, then take both him and Terra.
  5. The novels are partially canon.
  6. Organization XIII. Still a better love story than Twilight.
  7. True, but it's interesting to spectulate, especially sense this theory gives us a glimpse into Xehanort's mind.
  8. Kingdom Hearts 1.5 AND 2.5 are both out in Japan and the US, and I KNOW the Osaka team is working on Kingdom Hearts 3, while another team is developing 3DHD on the side. So unless they decide to make a US version of KHX (which would be wonderful in itself,) I expect them to make a release date announcement sometime later this year.
  9. I reread a BBS novel summary just recently, and I noticed something in Ventus and Vanitas's backstories that drew my attention: Ventus is an orphan that never got to meet his parents. Parents in Kingdom Hearts have been a question sense the very beginning, right from Sora's mom calling him down to dinner. Most if not all of you know that. So that simple phrase raises a lot of questions and theories for me sense they never went in-depth. What happened to Ventus's parents? Where could they be? I have three theories. 1) Ventus's parents were scumbags that didn't want to take care of him and didn't give a bit about what happened to him, so they abandoned him on the side of the road. 2) Ventus's parents were good, caring people, but didn't have the means to take care of him, so they were forced to give him up. 3) Ventus's parents, whether they were good or bad, were killed. Each of these theories are probable, but each has their lingering questions, too. So let's get into it, shall we? 1) The first theory I honestly doubt is true, because it leaves a glaring question: If Ventus went immediately from his parents to Xehanort, then why is he as kind and sweet as he is, even before he and Vanitas got separated? I mean, yes, I've seen the movie Matilda, so he could just be a diamond in the rough. But usually, what you give is what you get. So if this were true, he'd most likely be saavy in using the darkness instead of outright denying it when the time came. 2) The second theory makes a little bit more sense than the first. If Ventus's parents were good people, then that would most definately rub off on him, no matter how young he was when he and his parents were separated. But this raises another question: If his parents had to give him up, why would they give him to Xehanort of all people? I'm sure that, just by looking at him, any parent would be repeled from letting Xehanort take care of their child. The only possible answer would be that Xehanort was a family friend, which is honestly very unlikely. 3) The third theory is the most likely of the three. The Google definition of the word 'orphan' is as follows: "a child whose parents are dead." Although a child can be orphaned thanks to abandonment, an orphan is more often than not made when the parents die. Not to mention that almost none of us would put it past Xehanort to kill a kid's parents if it meant getting what he wanted. But this theory, too, leaves a couple of big questions: The same question from the first theory, and the question of what Xehanort did to cover his tracks. In the grand scheme of the story, this is a trivial detail, I know. But this is also a small glimpse of the extent Xehanort will go to get what he wants, which may open up even more theories for the final battle. So what do you think Xehanort did? Did he pick up a kid off the side of the road? Did he do a family a favor and agree to take care of their kid? Or did he outright kill in order to get to Ventus? Toss some thoughts out there!
  10. ...and then, Sora.
  11. The soul is the main power source of the body-soul-heart trio. The soul of a nobody continues to age, even without a heart. So he would either die of old age as a whole person, or die of old age as a nobody.
  12. I agree completely. I want to actually see the last light fade from Xehanort's eyes after the final battle. I can see them not bothering with the body except to tuck it in a corner of the Keyblade Graveyard to let it rot. Right after everyone spits on it.
  13. He shouldn't give up on Terra. Seriously, dudes---Terra's gotta come back!
  14. Do, "I know now, without a doubt, Kingdom Hearts is light!" Or, "My friends are my power, and I'm theirs!" Or BOTH!
  15. Well, hello there, sexy Vanitas.
  16. Gonna have to go with Squeeze Me, though Ocean Man from the first movie was a lot better. Wingblade or Blade Charge?
  17. Name: Sweet Beginnings Attack: +5 Magic: 0 Light: +1 Ability: Call over party members to defeat the foe with a unified finish command. Power Description: A keyblade borne out of memories of fun and friendship. Appearence Description: A wooden sword with a worn red ribbon tying three thick sticks to the end like the teeth of a key. How to recieve: Visit Destiny Islands and spar with Tidus, Wakka, or Selphie.
