With nothing on Netflix, I'm trying opera instead. La Cenerentola. I've no idea what they're saying, but I like the music, and that's the point of an opera anyways.

Dave repliedI know! I like how the trio of villains earnestly believe that they're doing the right thing. They're trying to give free will back to mankind, but the way they go about doing it is what's questionable.
Zola repliedYeah! They went so far beyond simple good and bad guys in that game that there wasn't really a right side. Unless you count Balthier's side. Genre savviness gives you powers like that.

For whatever reason, Netflix recommended Soul Eater. I decided to give it a chance. I regret this decision, and would like my half hour back.
Dave repliedThe thing that got me was that the main characters are all kind of jerks. They spend about a week trying to murder Blair for no reason other than personal greed and prestige, with the witch doing nothing to really provoke this. Also, Death beats the father to the point of bleeding, which is not cute or endearing. It's kind of sick.
Dave repliedNot to mention that I spent the whole episode wondering what happened to that one nameless girl at the beginning who nearly got killed, and is probably traumatized for life. Because the only reason she got saved is because it was immediately convenient for the two "protagonists" to kill the monster.
OthersiderME repliedi think they're killing Blair for power too, but they just fail. Regardless, i think you're thinking about the wrong things than what they want you to.
