  3. If at any point you manage to lose to Xehanort while playing as Terra, it means that Xehanort has just defeated himself.
  4. Final Destination, because that and a generation of tryhards have managed to ruin a game that I loved playing as a kid.
  5. So, logged into TF2, only to find that it now takes an obscenely long time to be put in a game. Why fix something that's not broken, Valve?

  6. The Matrix. It's an atrocious movie on every level, but everyone seems to buy into its pseudo messages, not realizing that the film contradicts every message that it puts forth.
  7. So you're saying if there's one thing Roxas needs, it's MORE angst. I'm inclined to disagree. If there's one thing we need more of, it's characters getting over it.
  8. You need to learn it in order to sing it in unison with all other citizens to waken your country's sleeping mecha spirit animal that runs nationalism for when the aliens attack.
  9. In a series that has been tainted for me by the endless supply of Xehanort doing nothing but talking, the last thing I want is for the narrative of KH3 to be driven by Xehanort talking.
  10. KH1, because it actually forced you to use a level of strategy when consuming it and made the items you find useful, instead of just spamming one spell and then dodge rolling until your meter refilled.
  11. Probably Final Fantasy, though I do like me some Golden Sun.
  12. Happy Canada Day!

  13. The first dragon I can recall being told about was Smaug, as my dad read us The Hobbit as a bedtime story. Tolkien's take on dragons is kind of an interesting one when compared to contemporary interpretations of them. Whereas now they can be made either good or evil, Tolkien makes no bones about the fact that they were created for evil, designed by Melkor for the purpose of upping his war effort against the Noldor.
  14. Rowlet: Owls are my favorite animals, so Rowlet gets automatic props. Also it's cute as hell. Litten: Eeehhhhh. I don't like cats in general, and to be honest, the little tufts sticking out of its face seem like a cheap design trick to make it look more original than it is. Popplio: Clowns are dope, and I hope that its evolutions up the level of clowniness that it possesses. Tapu Koko: Trying too hard. Cutiefly: The name is a bit... obvious, but the design is kind of neat. Togedemaru: You can't help but get the feeling that they drew a circle, and then just kind of doodled a face in the middle and said, "That's pretty good, right?" Cute, though. Charjabug: They really love those base shapes this time around, don't they? Kind of cool, though. I'm getting garbage truck vibes with the design. Vikavolt: Disappointed that this is apparently what Charjabug evolves into. I was hoping for something a little more bulky and intimidating. Sleek and pointy is kind of boring. Bruxish: ...The smile and come hither glance it's giving me is making me feel uncomfortable. Drampa: If "The Never Ending Story" is getting a cameo, I can only hope they also take notes from The Lord of the Rings so we can get a Balrog Pokemon. Iwanko: Oh, hey, another dog. Neat. Nekoala: Name's a bit obvious, but I like Koala's. Though the fact that it is literally just a koala is kind of disappointing, design wise. Pikipek: I actually quite like the woodpecker reference here. I don't off hand remember seeing one of those in Pokemon yet. Yungoos: Aaaw, he thinks he's all tough with his grumpy teeth! I dig weasels, so kind of happy to see one around. Not sure about the yellow toupee, though. Grubbin: Kind of your typical early level larvae Pokemon, but it could be worse, I guess. I think the white body is a mistake when it could have been given a more distinct color palette.
  15. Yes, Jon Stewart's run as host of The Daily Show is renowned for not taking political stands. I think the last quote points out where the disconnect here is. The creators chose to do something that they believed in and took a definite stand on an issue, expressing a solid opinion on it, rather than do what someone else thinks they ought to do by leaving their feeling ambiguous. The mismatch of Bruce Banner to Bruce Jenner might be a bit of a stretch as far as finding someone to place in accord with making a case for the LGBT community (it seems fueled primarily by the desire to use the same name twice rather than any actual conflict between characters), but I don't think it's wrong for them to let people know where they stand on the subject.
