It's still one of my favorite games of all time.

The part where it told me that none of the other games actually mattered and that a good chunk of the fulfillment I felt when beating the other titles was a waste of time.

I kind of hope not. Given that the movie already overly simplified/sugar-coated the contact that First Nations had with European settlers, having it abridged and made even more fanciful with Kingdom Hearts whimsy would do a great disservice to what is still a contentious issue.

The community is kind of what turned me off of the game for a bit. It's become super toxic.

Someone made the argument to me that Bioshock was one of the signs of games becoming art and not just entertainment, and I think that holds true. It's worth studying for the political, ethical, and philosophical themes it puts forward, perhaps being even more relevant now that select groups of people are starting to think that Ayn Rand was onto something.

The Tron world in DDD. While tying the link between Tron form Kh2 to the remake was neat, theories itself was unremarkable and rehashing it in a more condensed form didn't make it any more endearing.

The one thing I can give Vanitas is that I liked how it gave Haley Joel Osment a chance to flex some acting chops other than just Sora's happy-go-lucky style. He sounds like he's having fun doing it, and he manages to sound threatening even when the character actually isn't.

In fairness, if the characters ever stopped to consider the repercussions of their actions, most of the series wouldn't take place.
