  2. Alysa stared at the Doctor. His words were potent, she could not deny this. The program bent down, and picked up the fencing foil, but by the blade, not putting her hand on the hilt. It was high quality, the hilt the exact kind she used. Still not speaking a word, a scabbard appeared on the other side of her waist, and Alysa slid it in. She looked back to the Doctor, her expression having lost the frustration and anger it had when she left the other S4s. "Perhaps another time. The pain you caused me and the others is still raw. I can't go back, nor can I go with you back to the labs and your good intentions. It's better if I figure things out on my own." She turned away from him, the gleaming smile haunting her slightly. She was about to vanish into another distant corner of the digital world when she looked back to the new blade on her hip. "Actually, there's one thing I already figured out." Alysa detached the scabbard from her pants, and tossed it behind her, so it skidded back to the Doctor's feet. "I cannot be human. I can only be what I am. Thinking elsewise is naught but a hallucination." She said, her slim figure disappearing, destroying her digital trail as she traveled away.
  3. but surprise factor No, it's fine. I still like the way things are going.
  4. December 10th is closer...
  5. ~Edge~ Edge glanced to Raven, his eyes saying something like: 'See? Told you so.' He looked back to the Agent. "Where and what is the Citadel? Who is Director Locke? And who is this 'she'?" Edge pressed on. "This is it, just tell me this, and I'll save you from all of it." Edge promised his poor, poor victim. He was intending to make good on his word. As soon as this guy said something worthwhile, he would end this and get things moving again. ~Rydia~ The Last Summoner had to laugh. "Trust me, getting lost for a while helps out a lot. Happened to me too. Swallowed by a whale, several years later I come back and you wouldn't believe how badly my friends butts were getting kicked! It's like they couldn't do anything without me." Rydia said with a cheery smile, not noticing that Aqua's was more apprehensive than joyful. ~Severa~ "And we definitely want that." Severa noted, taking the device from Ienzo, and sauntering over to the pod. She bent down and affixed the device to the opening mechanism of the pod. The device made a small click sound and a small red light turned green, which seemed like it would mean that it was working. She glanced over to her partner. "So once we can figure something out for them, a quick click of a remote and their out right? Sounds good."
  6. "Ugh, drag down the mood a bit more will ya?" Kopiu commented to Xemnas, scarcely managing to use Dark Barrier to defend himself from most of the explosion. He was still sent sprawling, and the dark energy stung his skin. He recovered, standing back up to his full height. He called Soul Consumer back to his hand, and looked at the Dragon... This kind of enemy required something different than what he had. If he had any light magic, then this fight would be going much better. Unfortunately, he had only darkness. Kopiu shook his head, these thoughts would do him no good. The Replica surged forwards, and sliced in a spinning motion with his staff. ~~~ Enno clenched his blade as he looked at the woman. Her very presence was setting him off, making him feel like he was losing his grip on the control he already had very little of. "And who are you? And why didn't you help defeat it? You certainly seem capable, anyone still alive has to be." Enno interrogated the scarily pale woman, also keeping a spare eye on the fallen Phantom body.
  7. Kopiu raised an eyebrow when Percy came back with his "friend" in tow. "Azriel." Kopiu greeted with a solemn nod. It was a small island, and Kopiu had had a few encounters with the son of Zexion. Kopiu tried to not let things that had happened in the previous generation change his actions, but Zexion had been one of the members at Castle Oblivion... It didn't help that Kopiu didn't like Azriel to begin with. So... Cold and emotionless. To be stoic is one thing, but Azriel's calculating nature was disturbing at several levels. "Alright Percy, have fun. I'm going to go try and find a glass of water or something." Kopiu said, leaving Percy alone with Azriel. He wasn't intending on going far, and he was certainly not about to let Percy out of his sight. Acta cheered loudly as the boat came closer. Ooh, the excitement was getting to her. Whole new people! The simple idea of it made her want to jump for joy. And just when she was wondering if the town was running out of fun things to muck around with. Now a whole new generation of people to mess with were here. Did she wish they weren't the children of bloodthirsty villains? Yeah she did. But oh well. Take what you can get around here.
  8. "This is it!" "Got it." Ember leapt into the air and shot down a huge blast of ice right down onto Toshi. Somrene focused down on this next move, closing his eyes as he cast the spell, flames surrounding his body in a fiery aura. With the ice in place, Ember fell to the ground. She rolled to reduce the impact of the fall then called to Somrene. "All's prepared." She said in a chipper tone. Somrene's eyes opened, and his eyes were nothing but flames. "Good." He blitzed forward, breaking into the middle of the ice crystal, then exploded violently, the heat and pressure hurling partially melted chunks of ice all around. Ember deflected one that flew towards her, and her brother slumped to the ground exhausted. Should have been enough though.
  9. "Hey!" Rho called. "Who are you? I've never seen you around before." She questioned sharply, more than a little surprised. She had heard rumors of other Armor programs, but this was definitely not anticipated. And he was definitely wearing Armor, her overlay had analyzed it as such. This was odd... "Yo Spectre." Sigma waved a greeting to his fellow top three member. "I hear she's to be fighting Immortal. It'll be a slaughter... But still, fun." He said, looking back to the arena, not yet speaking of his thoughts on deployment. Personally he was excited, but he had feelings of apprehensiveness about the whole thing. But no need to load down Spectre with what were irrational fears. That's when he noticed the other figure in the arena... And the match up.... "Hey Spectre... Ever heard of a Draconis?" Sigma questioned, perplexed, his eyes glued to the window in fascination. "In three seconds, the fight will begin. Ready? Three... Two... One. Match start." A robotic voice said in the arena, also through a PA in the observation room. Rho shook her head, still confused. "Well... Computer says we're going to fight. I'm still dying for a good one. Let's go." She said, surging forward with her incredible speed already activated. She pulled out her tomahawk, and swung it right at the opponent's left shoulder. Rho also pulled out one of her guns, and let off a full powered blast from the weapon. Rho then kicked off the hulking Armor, flipping and landing gracefully with some room to spare between them.
  10. ~Cobica & Vortludo~ "Sure, I like walks." Cobica said, getting up from his seat, when quite a pretty young lady approached Vortludo. 'Is it the mustache that makes them all love him so much?' He thought to himself before realizing Yevgeni's immediate reaction of drawing a blade. "Whoa, what the hell did I miss? Sure Vortludo isn't the best choice for a lover out of the three of us, but who are we to judge?" He said, his sarcastic and demeaning nature coming through loud and clear. Vortludo slowly got up from his seat, and waved to Yev. "Peace my friend. Who am I to refuse a pleasant talk?" Vortludo began to say, looking the woman up and down. She had been the one to turn them in... But he was one for forgiveness. Forgiveness was, after all, the first step towards redemption. And Vortludo was not about to refuse a fellow denizen of the world the right to redemption. "Yev, please, allow me to speak with her. I am a man, I can handle myself with her alone. And worst comes to worst, I shall be sure to vanish away, like smoke into the sky. Besides, a private chat between us should not come between your morning walk yes?" "I'm still a little confused, but sounds good to me." Cobica said, walking towards the door. "Best of luck Vort! Don't die!" He called as he exited. ~Neena~ "Live a little?" Neena scoffed. She spat a bit of blood out of her mouth to the side. The butt of a pistol was no joke. "This is my life. All I've done has led up to this quest. Maybe you can bare to end a life for the simple clink of coin in your purse, but I do it for a higher reason. Ending you will bring this world one step closer to the salvation it deserves." She spoke, ending her little monologue before moving again. She rushed forwards again, feinting a horizontal slice, but vanished into a dark portal before she came close to him. Neena appeared above him, her bow nocked, and fired one, two, three arrows right at Lucius' back. The Zealot landed and rolled to her feet, and pointed her off hand towards him, several blades of light materializing and firing towards him. She muttered something, then punched the ground. A dome of about 10 yards across was created around them, assuring no citizens would be harmed by any kind of crossfire. ~Rija~ Rija struggled to her feet without Korben's help. She looked at him, then saluted. "Yes sir." She said quietly. What he said was certainly true... And there was not much to say in reply. "Now, where were we headed?" She asked, moving away from the bruised wall, to the other side of Maxis. ~The Doctor~ And complete. Fully functional serum. The Doctor smiled slightly as he took the two batches and left his lab, moving down the corridor. His animals awoke with a start, still tired from their trip outside of the capital. They began to follow. The serum worked perfectly, enhancing the user's speed, strength, dexterity, precision, stamina, and durability to tanzynite levels without using dangerously unsafe tanzynite compounds, instead creating a whole new chemical. Verstand he would call it. He hadn't named something after himself in months after all, it was about time. Of course there was one minor hiccup. The serum required the host to be magically empowered or an elf for it to work. Knowing a spell or two wouldn't cut it either, they had to be a fully trained mage. The frequent use of a large variety of magic cultivated an enzyme to be produced that basically ate dangerous proteins created within the user's body by magic. Elves naturally had high amounts of this in their body, which helped to explain why magic came easier to them, their body could actually handle it without years of training. Of course, there were other biological factors that also affected magic, but they did not matter when it came to the serum. No, the serum just required this enzyme to break down a similar protein created by the serum. The Doctor reached Gabriel's lab. "Gabe, it is finished." He said, but then realized he was speaking to an empty room. "Oh. You are not here. Oh well, I'll tell you later. Might as well load these up into the suits in the meanwhile." He said, accessing Gabriel's lab's controls using his own datapad. He summoned the suits, and let the glass case fall away. The Doctor opened up the injecting mechanism of the suits, and inserted a batch of the serum into each. Perfect. They were now fully functional. Probably. At least the serum worked. The Doctor dismissed the suits, and they fell back into the floor.
  11. Actually, now I'm tempted to make a manhwa character, but I feel like I'm already pushing it with manga Name: Guts Age: 25 Gender: Male Anime and Saga of Origin: Berserk, Elf Island Arc Appearance: Short Bio: A swordsman born of a dying woman, he was taken into a mercenary band. This is where he first began his swordsmanship training, using a sword far larger than would be generally acceptable for a child. But he managed. Because he had to. He eventually left this band after many years of abuse from the father figure that had taken him in in the first place. He journeyed for a long while by himself, but one day he encountered a man. This man's name was Griffith. Griffith, determined to have Guts in his service, dueled him for that prize. Griffith won, and so Guts began to follow him. A beautiful, charismatic, and skilled man, Griffith had a dream to be king. Guts saw Griffith as a friend, and joined the small band of mercenaries that Griffith had created, named the Band of the Hawk. He fought beside Griffith as his trusted raid commander, while his friend played politics, eventually wooing the princess and getting on the king's good side, to the point that their mercenary company became a prized division of the king's personal army. Throughout this time, Guts became excellent friends with another lieutenant, Casca. After the group became official soldiers, and Griffith named a noble, Guts determined it was time to move on. He won his life back from Griffith after beating him in a duel, and left to travel on his own. Griffith immediately after became frustrated and angry, and acted irrationally, destroying his newfound status, sending the Band of the Hawk on the run, and falling into the dungeons to be broken. A year later, the Band of the Hawk finds Guts, and plead with him to free Griffith. Guts agrees, and does so, nearly single handedly destroying the guards and taking Griffith away. But Griffith was a broken man, unable to walk, feed himself, do anything really. And he was so ugly.... In a desperate time, Griffith got a hold of a behelit, a small egg that can turn a human into a demon so they can achieve an otherwise impossible dream. The only cost for this is the thing most precious to them, aside from anything directly linked to the dream. For Griffith... This was the Band of the Hawk. Summoned into a realm of demons, the entire group was slaughtered and destroyed. Guts fought bravely, his arm cut off and eye put out, in an effort to get to Griffith, stop this or something... He couldn't do so, instead settling for saving Casca from torture at the hands of Griffith, who had become the fifth member of the Godhand, the five most powerful demons. Casca and Guts became branded, people who survived a sacrifice, and would forever attract demons and other monsters to them. Casca's memory was gone, shocked from her system by the trauma. Guts set his eyes on revenge, suiting up with new armor and the greatest sword of all mankind, and goes on a demon killing spree. Only recently has he set his eyes back on helping Casca, taking her to a safe haven where she will not be bothered by demons or creatures, and potentially restoring her memories. Powers: Guts has technically only one special ability, the Berserker Armor. When summoned, the Berserker Armor removes near all logical thought from Griffith's mind, but removes all physical limitations, making him the strongest and fastest a human can ever be. It also removes the sense of pain, and physically holds a body together, so that even when his body should crumple from his wounds, he still stands and fights. Of course, when he is removed from the Berserker Armor, the injuries are still there, if not worse from the process. Fortunately, he has an incredible recovery time. Of course, he is also among the best warriors ever. He was known to have killed one hundred men in a single night before he even gained the Dragonslayer or survived the sacrifice. Guts is incredibly tough and hardy, and has the brute strength of twenty bulls. He can take down Apostles, incredibly strong demons, on his own. Personality: Very serious and gruff. There's not a whole lot more to him. He is incredibly single minded, caring very little for other people. But, should you manage to make it to his inner circle, he will protect you with everything he's got and more. He focuses primarily on healing Casca and killing Griffith. Guts does not fight for no reason, and dueling for honor or even sparring for practice is a silly practice to him. If you are fighting him, it's to the death. Weapons: The Dragonslayer Sword. The greatest sword ever made by a human, created to slay dragons, it was said to be impossible to wield. Too big, simply. But Guts doesn't take too big as an acceptable excuse. It's incredible weight yet also sharp edge allows him to cut through fully armored humans like butter. It has absorbed so much demon blood that it exists not only on the earthly plane, but also on the supernatural one, allowing him to defeat even things like ghosts, and destroy supernatural objects. He also carries several throwing knives, and his mechanical hand, forged by the same blacksmith who created the Dragonslayer, doubles as a one shot cannon. And getting punched by a metal hand hurts a lot too. Theme Song:
  12. Good cuz I don't watch enough anime. Or the anime versions of the manga are bad/not comprehensive enough Characters incoming
  13. I'd have done a ship for Alysa, but her nature requires time Originally I was going to do so with Soul Then he left And I set my eyes on Cap's character Then he left So forever alone A ship would have definitely changed her character ending quite a bit Honestly, I was already planning for a not so happy ending for her. She was going to die in the final battle, but apparently MDS decided that he didn't want to extend the final battle long enough for it to even seem close to worth it
  14. PUMPKIN PETE'S

  16. That's it, I'm sacrificing your characters to aliens On this note of posts being needed SCRAP AMNESIA
  17. If you kill With Hearts of Steel within a week, I will do the same to you. POST
  18. DOUBLE POST BECAUSE I WANNA SAY SOMETHING Who is Azrael tracking? My immediate reaction was that it was Brooklyn and Sandrew's apartment, but that makes little sense... So did I miss something? That seems unlikely, but I cannot figure it out for the life of me, so it must be either my detective skills or memory failing me.
  19. He can also basically traverse all of Africa in 10 seconds flat after Nala teaches him.

  22. ~Ryonne & Viridem~ Ryonne nodded towards Mikhail and Slade when they came in. "Excellent. Let's get going, no need to delay." He said shortly, then turned and ascended the ramp into the helicopter like transport that would take them in as far as it could. He could be heard from outside calling for the pilot to get things started. The rotors began to spin as Viridem looked to Mikhail. "A bet over kill count? I'm certainly up for it. What's the prize?" She asked as she began to load up into the transport herself. ~Rija~ Rija stood up from her kneeling position to follow her superior, moving to his left side quickly. "My liege, you do not understand the gravity of my actions. I received intel late last night that this meeting was to take place, but was helpless to prevent it or assist you. Especially with the strength of the legendary Absolon, you easily could have been hurt, or worse, killed. My emperor, this was a blunder fully deserving of grave punishment." She continued. Sometimes she felt that he was too soft on his more trusted allies, and this was a problem. Any kind of softness, unfair treatment, set a poor example for other Imperial officials. ~Neena~ "I wouldn't be worrying about Korben right now." A voice said from behind Lucius. From the shadows, a lithe figure erupted into an attack, their short blade gleaming with dark energy as they swung across Lucius' neck, sliding to a stop in front of him. "For a supposedly good assassin, you leave yourself wide open." Neena said, lunging forward again with a quick stab of the blade. She brought her off hand up in an unarmed strike, dark magic blasting off her hand as it neared its destination. Lucius Alpha was an infamous assassin, and one that needed to be stopped. His unaging body particularly placed him higher on her list, considering he would never die unless someone killed him.
  23. Supposedly the remake will be different in several ways, not just a straight remake. New content, new mechanics, potentially removed aspects, improved systems etc. The port is the same exact thing on the PC and that was originally released. Blocky models and all.
